Adesanya should have faced Paolo Costa. According to is higher than Romero, and lower than Whittaker (who Adesanya KO'd).
Paolo Costa was injured and so is the reason Israel Adesanya called out Yoel Romero and if you look at his fight against Paola Coasta and Robert Whittaker both were really close fights and you can make a decision that Romero won both those fights.

Paolo Costa is 13-1 right now. Last time found Romero this summer. Its obvious he should have been first contender to fight Adesanya.
According to the rankings that was the case but Paolo Costa is unable to take the fight and hence they put together the Romero fight. I thought he was injured rather than any steroid issue.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: February 11, 2020, 01:48:45 PM
OK.. I understand that the fight needs promotion and perhaps that's the reason why Teofimo Lopez went on with his verbal tirade against Loma. But it doesn't leave a good taste, especially if the attack is directed at a legendary player. And I have seen similar incidents in the past as well. And every single time, I have seen the individual who begins this verbal attack losing the fight (not just in boxing, but with MMA as well).
I consider Vasyl Lomachenko the best boxer and have a superior technique and to promote the fight Teofimo Lopez is talking big fight plans on retiring a 31 year old boxer, either way i am expecting the best performance from the technician Vasyl Lomachenko and i wont be surprised if he schools the young Lopez as he have done to many world class fighters in the past.

It is very easy for NZ to achieve the target cause they still have 5 wickets in hand. They only need 42 runs, one good over and they will achieve half of it. They are not taking any risk at this moment, just playing sensibly and wating for the ball to come to the bat.
I was expecting India to pull back things when they took the 5th wicket for 220 runs but then Colin de Grandhomme came out and played a T20 kind of innings and took New Zealand to victory with 3 overs to spare and completed the white wash and now India needs to group up and think about how they could face a team without Rohit Sharma, i was impressed with KL Rahul as he could score runs in any position even when the rest fail to score runs and now comes the Test matches and with these performances i am confused how that match will proceed.

As far as the judging goes in this fight card the judging was awful and even Joe Rogan called out the judges during the broadcast about the judges not even watching the fight which is really odd and how on earth they scored those rounds is mind boggling.
This is not the first time we are seeing bad decisions but the specialty of this fight card is that there were many stupid decisions and so is the reason there are talks about how to score a fight is going on everywhere, the excuse we usually get is that the judges are boxing judges and if that is the case Dominick Reyes out struck Jon Jones clearly in the first three rounds in terms of volume and the significant strikes but the judges were ignorant and the controversy broke out because one judge gave Jon Jones 4 rounds which is impossible even if it was a close fight you will never get a score of 49-46 and as Dominick Reyes said it is disrespectful to score a close fight like that.

other than the 3 judging panel what is the solution to rectify these problems as a win will change a fighters life and fortune so they need to sort this out soon.

Dear some time ago we was hearing about Big 3 which was flopped idea because others face not good so then ICC drop this idea now we are facing some other troubles as you already saying Ganguly is going to fight against dominance so I am feeling its not good we have many other organisations which are handling sports and have no issues like these because these all working with mutual understanding and respect of others here as India came in power we have many troubles which need intention from others as well but India  want all things under their control which is not good for spirit of cricket.
I am not aware of the inside battle but money always rules and India does provide the bigger share of profit for ICC but this is the only sport where a single entity controls over the other boards and the international board if that is the case. I just watch cricket and not following these battles but we need to have a fair resolve rather than a battle who reigns supreme.

Both Naseem Shah and Yasir Shah bowled well. But these guys need to be consistent while facing tougher opposition. I still remember what happened to Naseem, when he played his first test match (against Australia at Brisbane). He couldn't handle the pressure then. Anyway, it is encouraging to see some young players in the starting XI for Pakistan after a long time.
If they are able to develop young talents when the sernior players are still in the team, then they will be able to groom them and become a better player than they started and all the teams should follow that pattern to have a good team even after their past super stars retire, the problem with Pakistan is that they usually replace the senior players at once if they fail a series and push the young players and that will not help them develop.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 07, 2020, 09:39:20 PM
And yes tomorrow is another do or die game for India as if Nz wins the match they will win the series. India would definitely will come out with some special plans to tackle NZ batsman .
New Zealand played the first game without their main bowlers Trent Boult, Matt Henry and Lockie Ferguson are injured and their captain Kane Williamson was also injured and still they were able to win the first match and it will give them the confidence coming into this match, i am expecting India to come up with a good game plan and hence i am not confident to whom to wage a bet but expecting a good match and even i too think that the toss is an important factor as chasing would be fine in flat pitches.
1848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $37,000,000 in Bitcoin (BTC) for Sale by US Government on: February 07, 2020, 08:44:51 PM
The federal law enforcement agency will put an estimated 4,040 Bitcoin or an amount of (current value is $38,563,173).
Since this is an auction and not through exchanges i am not expecting the price to go down like some are expecting.

what can you say about buying Bitcoin that was used in doing illegal activities? Does it have any differences with the usual thing we do? Does it have lesser value because it was from illegal activity or does it cost higher because of the bidding? And what does the government do after receiving money from the auction? Do they use it in a proper way or simply, do they add it to the government's asset?
Since this is a legal proceeding there is nothing to worry about the tainted coins as in the future i am expecting anyone holding the tainted coins will be held responsible when regulations will be active. After the auction it will be submitted to the treasury as it is a public auction.

1849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Cost $ 25,000 by 2021? on: February 07, 2020, 07:30:45 PM
2020 might experience a bullish trend for the price of bitcoins or any other markets but 2021 might bring a huge dump as dump is always been followed by the pump.
That means you are expecting a big pump this year, if you look at the charts and how the market performed in the past i am not expecting a huge rally this year. The market usually pump a year after the halving and we are halving this year in a few days and after that we will see the big pump in a few months and it will take around a year to see the big pump after breaking the current all time high valuation.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 07, 2020, 06:05:05 PM
2nd ODI between England and SA have started and after winning the toss England decided to field and took an early wicket of Kock. SA are now 38/1 in 6.4 overs before the rain have interrupted the match . Hoping that match is not reduced and we can see witness full 50 overs and it is an exciting contest .
The match is washed out and with the first match won by South Africa and the second one washed out and England need to win the third one to level the series and tie the series and if South Africa is able to win or the third match washed out South Africa will win the ODI series after a disastrous Test series.

New Zealand and India playing their second ODI tomorrow and if New Zealand will be able to win the match then they will win the series so India will be well prepared to win the second one and hence i am confused on what bet to put.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 07, 2020, 04:21:03 PM
Though we know he is protecting his unblemished  record in boxing, but we know he is the better fighter against Money during their fight.
Did you mean Manny, he was coming in the fight with a injured shoulder and the athletic commission did not allow pain killers either and hence i do not consider that his best performance and i would like to see a rematch but time is running out as age is catching up for both these fighters.

I understand how people have regret watching the fight as it wasn't as entertaining as they were expecting, but they'll surely take some chances again if this rematch would happen.
I watched the fight and the action was always controlled by Manny Pacquiao but Mayweather does what he usually does best, the defense was solid as he was rolling with most of the shots and if Manny was healthy it would have been great.

for the Money, I believe Floyd may fight Manny soon.
If the fight happens then it would be a dream come true, but highly unlikely we will see a rematch now.

Yeah its seems like that, so called "Security Reasons" and its more of BCB's idea to play bilateral series in 3 phases, they are making joke out of this bilateral series TBH.
First Phase (Jan) - T-20
Second Phase (Feb) - 1 Test
Final (April) - 1 ODI and 1 test
This is the first time i am hearing a series split in three phases because of security reasons, not sure what they are thinking and how they are thinking about mitigating an attack by splitting in three phases, i think the Pakistan government is giving them elite level security and if they can do that then what is the reason of splitting the series, they can save the logistical expense if they conducted at once  Cheesy.
1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 07, 2020, 02:41:08 PM
I reckon that Conor should make him interested. Fight Justin Gaethje on lightweight or welterweight and then fight Jorge Masvidal on welterweight. A victory on Jorge would light his star brighter and cause Khabib to be very jealous and fight hehehhe.
Justin Gaethje will not dance to the tune of Conor McGregor and move up in weight to fight him, if there is a fight between Justin Gaethje and Conor McGregor then it will be a tough fight for both and it can be a title eliminator fight and if that happens and Conor wins then he can once again face Khabib, Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman will be fighting for the title and hence we might not see that match up for another six months. Justin Gaethje is a good opponent and it is highly unlikely Conor will take that fight, if he takes that then it can be considered as a title eliminator and it will be a huge fight.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 07, 2020, 12:45:10 PM
I don't have much expectation from Bangladeshi team as their key players missing the game and they are playing only 1 test right now, 2nd test is schedule in April. Its strange and weird move from both boards PCB-BCB.
Not sure why a long gap for a series, is it because of the security issues that is discussed here, may be they want to monitor how the match goes and if everything is fine then they will assess the situation once again and complete the series  Cheesy. What ever be the case Bangladesh is all out for 233 runs and if Pakistan can bat well then it is an easy win for them. There are new faces in both the teams and lets see how the Pakistan team will bat tomorrow.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 06, 2020, 12:45:33 PM
That is correct NZ grounds are smaller and scoring good runs are easier there. But, last match I felt bowlers were not so committed as they were earlier. There is always a psychological pressure when you are chasing, if the target is big. Scoring big runs will not help India if the ballers are not able to contain the opponent team.
In the past the pitch used to favor the bowlers too as a compensation to the small grounds but now the pitches have dried up and it is hard work for the bowlers, miss hit and the ball goes over the rope and even bad shots landing on the boundary. I like to see a good competition between players rather than seeing flat pitches. I am waiting to see who will win the toss in the second ODI as chasing will be best option in pitches like these.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 06, 2020, 07:21:25 AM
Beside, there's nothing to gain here for manny this show is not interesting to show watch, there's no glory to it. The one to watch and gamble is the rematch between floyd and manny.
I disagree with the statement that Manny Pacquiao has nothing to gain with this match up, the only reason he is still boxing is to make money and he knows that a big pay day will be just perfect in this situation and he is not getting any younger and if there is a match up between the two then it will be one of his highest pay day of his career.
1857  Economy / Economics / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON CHINA ECONOMY on: February 06, 2020, 05:42:28 AM
A lot of people already died in China, specifically in Wuhan. And in some countries, they are starting to be cautious of the virus since the number of casualties and the number of people getting confirmed infected of the virus is increasing. China's economy had been stricken hard due to this. I believe there is an indirect correlation between the economy and the crypto market.
The death toll is rising on a daily basis and if they are not able to contain the virus effectively then it will create a situation that will impact the entire global market. The entire city is shut down and the markets are shut down for weeks and i wonder how they will be procuring things and i can only imagine the struggle those people are going through.
These situation will have a momentary implication on the economy but it will not affect the growth.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 06, 2020, 04:35:05 AM
Khabib already answered. He does not want to fight Conor for any price. I reckon Conor should prove his greatness again before he can make Khabib look at him hehehe. I am the most loyal Conor fan, however, the fight versus Cowboy is nothing to make him rematch Khabib.
Conor should win some fights in the 155 pound division before going for the rematch, if he really wanted to rematch Khabib he would have done that in the 155 pound division against Cerrone but instead he opted for 170 pound division which is a mystery, may be he is looking for more options and the funny thing is that after the fight Conor did not talk about or called out Khabib but Dana White was pushing the rematch Cheesy.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 06, 2020, 02:49:16 AM
JJ is extremely motivated for this fight alright but I want to give credit to DR for getting getting him riled up like that. I have never seen JJ so aggressive in pre-fight interviews and face offs since DC. It's not easy to play mind games against someone like JJ but I think DR has gotten into his head.
The fight game is all about mental strength and confidence and Jon Jones always thrive when he create an enmity against the opponent he usually fights better and with the fights against Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos he was not that motivated to finish the fight but i am expecting a stoppage in this fight.

Hearing JJ talks about being disrespectful makes me laugh. Someone who has gamed the sport using substance is disrespectful.
Jones wants to motivate himself and have an enmity towards the opponent to motivate himself as i said earlier but the substance abuse is just because of his wild life style he had and the contents were micro grams which will not help in performance and it will get into your body through contaminated substance.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 06, 2020, 01:48:56 AM
At the end Ross Taylor nailed it and Indian bowlers killed it. You cannot always blame the pitch. It was Indian bowler who did not perform. India has been again fined for the slow over rate.
This was the true highlight of Ross Taylor as he was involved in the T20 drama and on both occasions the pressure got the best of him and he was not able to take the team to victory and in this ODI he stayed till the end and took the team to victory chasing a huge score and i am glad that they showcased a better performance and now India will be coming back for a competitive series and expecting fireworks in the second one.
