1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: December 06, 2023, 11:48:53 PM
~
The question now is, does the halving change the game so that it can make BTC rise high? Everything is an item of demand from investors and traders and it must be born to be improved, there should be no fud issues again so that many people sell BTC, both institutions and large traders. Yes. Indeed, this Ecosystem is not yet fully mature and we all respect all of this process, the main goal is to create awareness and adoption in society and provide a positive impact in the future.
We have a decade of data in regards to how the market would perform during and after the halving and there is nothing that is changing that. People would jump in whenever they can and purchase the coin and wait for the big rally and cash out when they reach their desired profit, last time some of the institutional investors did some dumb things holding a little longer that burned them, so this time around when the bear catches, i am anticipating that the bleeding will be bigger.

And finally the winner of the World Cup Australia was too good on their final day at India, but may be they have new players now in the t20 series against India that's why they lost some matches against them.
Both the teams are resting their main players from the ongoing T20 series and for India Suryakumar Yadav is the only member in this team who played the World Cup while Australia retained a few players and it is a really unpredictable series as i was surprised India was able to win the first two matches even with their new players and the third match Australia was able to win on the back of another performance by Maxwell .
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we got new CEO of Binance on: November 22, 2023, 11:57:21 PM
What a shocking event this morning when CZ resigned as CEO and replaced by Richard Teng as the new CEO. With the SEC plead guilty issue of CZ. Well this si unexpected news knowing CZ built the Binance so strong. Anyway with the new CEO possible new eras and new beggining for Binance.
This was not unexpected, we knew this was coming and the idea of a borderless company goes down the drain when you settles with the SEC for $4 billion and pleading guilty and in that instance there is no other option than to step down. Wonder when people start to move to DEX.

I can't imagine India batting so badly in the final after dominating every match of the World Cup. My prediction was that India will dominate and win the final match as well. But now it looks like they won't be able to stay at the crease till 50 overs.
When Rohit Sharma started well scoring boundaries at ease, no one would expect that India would struggle in the end but the pitch is really slow and it will be difficult for the Australian batsman to score runs easily. I am expecting them to attack from the start and if India fails to pick wickets from the start then Australia will win another world cup and will be a historic performance.

Did Shami just drop the World Cup?
If New Zealand is able to play like this for the next 10 overs and do not loose a wicket, then it is highly likely they could challenge India once again in a semi finals  Grin.

Daryl Mitchell is one short of his century and he needs to keep on batting till the end and if India is not able to break this partnership and then considering the flat wicket which is not helping the bowlers, it might be a good chase.

~
I don't know why Rohit doesn't want to bring Mohammed Shami or Mohammed Siraj.
Rohit just brought back Mohammed Shami and he broke the partnership  Shocked.

50 world cup wickets for Mohammed Shami at a crazy average and strike rate.

Edit: Yet another wicket for Mohammed Shami. He is on a role with his bowling.

Yes, Steak is amazing, always instant withdrawal and no KYC.
Stake does demand for KYC if they think that the user is fishy.

But they have a slightly different sports provider, it’s more difficult to win
Who cares if the provider is different, provider does not make the sporting events difficult, if you are talking about the odds provided, then i can understand.

I can understand that you require your user to logging in and out of their account during video verification, but to show their google and binance account? I have to say I am not comfortable with "KYC" that deep.
Asking users to log into their personal & exchange accounts other than the concerned website has nothing to do with KYC.

I hope you can explain more, and perhaps answer what DaveF asked, it'll be helpful for me to write a neutral feedback to warn other [future] users of this... depth of KYC they might have to undergo, and their option, whether they'll get refund or are allowed to withdraw if they refuses to do so.
Unless someone complain that they are not able to withdraw the funds without verifying if a KYC request arises from them, this below quote from Rollbit is more than enough.

~
We always refund users who are unable to complete verification steps.

There does not exist a single case where this is any different.

England team won the match by 160 runs. England team played very well and made 339 runs in 50 overs with fall of 9 wickets but Netherland team could make only 179 runs . Ben Stokes is announced as player of the match who played magnificent inning of 108 runs in 84 balls , David Malan was run out by making 87 runs in 74 balls and Woakes made 51 runs in 45 balls. No player played well from Netherland side.
Finally England were able to win a match after a very lean patch, when the match started, i was not confident how England would perform even against Netherlands, but Ben Stokes played an incredible innings even when their middle order collapsed once again. This might be the last time this England team would play together as majority will be calling it quits after the world cup because of their terrible performance.

Yeah. Am really excited for Netherlands vs Afghanistan and this one since it's basically battle of the underdogs and battle of the favorites. Am expecting Afghanistan to win their encounter against Netherlands.
Do not forget that Netherlands already defeated South Africa and Bangladesh and they have a good bowling unit who is capable of defending moderate totals and if the Netherlands batsman could perform well with the bat then they have a chance to win against Afghanistan too.

On the other hand, I feel that India will continue their win streak by defeating South Africa primarily thanks to their amazing bowling unit.
India is by far the favorites and could very well win the entire tournament with the way they are playing and they have the best bowlers.

@owengtam09. Agreed. Jon Jones did not easily injure his body during training when he was the light heavyweight champion. His cancelled fights before were only because of smorting cocaine, abuse of alcohol and the hit and run of a pregnant woman. I reckon that this injured knee might be caused by being overweight for these chicken legs!

I am quite certain these bones of Bones Jones cannot carry more than 150 kilograms without injury.
Jon Jones did not injure his knees but he tore his pectoral muscle while sparring. Jones is lifting heavy weights in the gym and his knees are fine, the injury was unfortunate and he was abusing his body for a longer period with drugs and alcohol and he is not young anymore and it will have an affect on the body.

~
I have my doubts if Jones will be eager to fight either Pavlovich or Aspinall. He was going after Stipe only because Stipe was considered to be the best heavyweight in terms of the most wins in title bouts. In the past he also mentioned that he was only after big money fights, and I'm not sure if a fight against Pavlo/Aspinall would sell that great.
I wouldn't be very surprised if Jones announced his retirement anytime soon. I hope that won't happen though.
I wont be surprise if Jon Jones announces his retirement after the fight against Stipe Miocic and looks like the UFC is willing to push this match up for next year.

Congratulations to India After long 20 years, India beaten New Zealand in an ICC event, and they are Almost qualified for the semis. NewZealand should've been scored more, but there was no one to support Daryl Mitchell in the death overs.
I did not know about this record, 20 years is a really long time, did they loose against New Zealand when India won the world cup in 2011 or they did not face each other in that edition.

New Zealand should have scored more runs if not for the brilliant bowling by Mohammed Shami, getting a chance to play in the end and he showed why he is a game changer by picking up 5 wickets and a wicket on the first ball he bowled in this world cup. Kohli and Rohit are in great touch and so does the others and like Ponting mentioned, the team that beats India has the ability to win this edition of the world cup.

When Babar Azam and Mohammad Rezwan got some stability on the wicket, I thought that maybe these two batsmen would seal Pakistan's victory and then strike but in reality something different happened. Congratulations to David Warner and congratulations to Australia for a nice win.
It was a wonderful performance from the Australian openers and the Pakistan openers started out with a century partnership and that is the start Pakistan needed to chase a total like 367 runs and they were handling the Australian bowlers really well until Marcus Stoinis got the ball and once he made the break through and sent their openers back to the pavilion they started to control the match better and started picking wickets.

Here New Zealand was cruising comfortably at 109/1, and now they are at 113/4. Both the set batsmen are now back in pavilion (Will Young and Rachin Ravindra). And ironically it is the seamer Azmatullah Omarzai who did the maximum damage (at this point 1-0-1-2). Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman have also played their part well, by taking one wicket each.
Looks like another unpredictable match, Afghanistan has one of the best spinners in the world and if New Zealand were chasing then the pressure would have gotten the better, they lost quick wickets but they can recover and set a total around 260 which can be a competitive total considering chasing is difficult in these pitches from the highlights i have seen so far in this tournament.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 ACTUAL DISCUSSION THREAD! on: October 17, 2023, 09:03:38 PM
Netherlands won the match and the tournament is getting interesting with this upset and two upsets in 3 days of time frame, probably this is going to be the most exciting edition as far as I know because its still the early days of tournament, and we witnessed two upsets already.
Two of the biggest upsets are teams that are chasing lost the matches, difficult to bat under lights, looks like they have demons in the pitch with the way minions are dominating big teams. Anyone placing bets on underdogs are making a fortune

Tomorrow we have New Zealand vs Afghanistan match at Chepauk which is highly spin friendly, so hopefully there can be another thriller tomorrow if AFG batters did decent job another important news Kane Williamson will not be available due to the injury which is going to be a major concern for NZ in the upcoming matches.
Yet to place a bet and with the two upsets, probably wait till the toss and might place a bet against the team chasing as Afghanistan has good spinners and if New Zealand is chasing then they might get into trouble like England.

Cryptocurrency related transactions is illegal in China, what does it have to do with being an admin or an moderator in an online forum or even posting here. Are you high or something to think that anyone would get arrested for running an online forum Roll Eyes.

The chase have been made easier and today it is an unlucky day for CSK. In 9 overs Royal Challengers have scored 105 runs losing the early 2 wickets. Maxwell and Du Plessis on fire. Already Du Plessis have reached half century in 23 balls. 122 runs in 66 balls is easy reachable for a team with the best batting line-up. Expect the match to be over by the 18th over or earlier.
Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell are going at it against CSK without any breaks and it looks like they will chase down 226 runs as they looks unstoppable and the Chennai bowlers looks really weak to contain the runs and they missed a couple of chances and in situations like these if they are not taking those opportunities then there is no way they are going to put any breaks.

I also saw this news and I confess that when I was reading this news I even thought it was a bad combination, but then I started looking at things from another angle, what if WWE athletes were to start fighting for real without acting but it would be a fight following the rules of wrestling? no doubt this would be something very innovative that would attract attention even from people who like real fights, those moves that wrestling guys do, if it's a real fight without staging, we could see the fights at a very high level, something completely different from what we have already seen. the referee would be someone serious, the judges would also be someone serious, the winners could be decided by knockout and jury decision
Like movie actors acting in war movies participating in real war  Cheesy. Let them do their thing acting out the moves and if they are exceptional talents then they will cross over to the real world like Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley without any contract barriers because they are legit MMA fighters but the problem is that age is not on their side.

I think Adesanya Fans really wanted to see him perform well and surprise the audiences about how he gonna handle this fight. But his problem is Pereira will already know exactly what he gonna do and can predict his movement easily. If Adesanya won't change his fighting style, this upcoming fight will be in favor of Pereira and it might be that the result of this fight is the same as the last one.
Israel Adesanya needs to win this fight if he ever wants to become the champion and break the curse of getting defeated by Alex Pereira in any combat sports.

Pereira can easily dodge and take Adesanya's punches as if it's nothing and that's just how he is always caught by surprise because there wasn't any opponent who can do that against him before. He really needs to win this fight in order to regain back his honor.
In the first fight Alex Pereira got into serious trouble in the first round and if there was a few seconds left, Israel Adesanya would have knocked him out, the bell helped him that time. Alex is a world class striker and it will be a striking battle.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: April 05, 2023, 11:55:33 PM
The Adesanya pick seems to be just enough at @1.65, I'll take it. But it's kind of surprising like Leon Edwards versus Kamaru Usman where the challenger is the favorite instead of the champion. Perhaps, fans are still expecting the ex-champion to get his title back just like the story of the recent fight that was mentioned.
Israel Adesanya is facing Alex Pereira for the 4th time, two times in kickboxing and Alex Pereira won a decision and one knockout and he lost one fight in MMA by knockout and it is surprising that the bookies are expecting a different result this time. It is going to be a striking battle and Alex Pereira found success 3 times and i am not sure it will be different for the 4th time, may be it might go to decision.
