Don't fuck with them, otherwise they will hackz the forum with the force of a thousand suns
Or worse, they could just bore us all to death.
2823  Other / Meta / Re: open letter to theymos on: June 22, 2013, 07:15:14 AM
banning us will not help.

we have 4k ip addresses, of proxies, of companies, but more importantly of rats

next time a user comes, who never heard about this forum, sees bitcon and will see their ip banned.

we buy accounts.. in bulk. we sell csv files of accounts in the hundreds.

one thing we do not do is scam. we never scam. WE CALL OUT THOSE WHO DO SCAM! even use our service.

we have been hear since 2012. you are aware that we ar responsible for a important amount of pirateat40 promotion. now we will expand base to promote here, otu of hf.

Yawn. Really, how interesting.
2824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coming ASICs device will further increase the price of BTC. on: June 21, 2013, 04:18:25 AM
Someone said, that the increased difficulty make it happen, that less coins are produced every day, is that true ?
No. The system adjusts difficulty automatically so a block is found approx every 10 minutes. Give or take.
I thought it will be decrease, so only after approximately 4 years time the system will change mining coin per day?
Yes, block reward halves every 210,000 blocks. (Approx 4 years.) But that has nothing to do with the difficulty.

On p2pool it will.
2826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Boycott 0.8.2 on: June 20, 2013, 03:12:48 PM

Huh Do not know why I always seen a large number of mining results?
I use BTC Guild,
Digging speed is very very fast,
I contribute my instrument display program,
But the site did not show up,
Last share seems to go inside,
Please answer for me,
Photos need to tell me,
My e-mail: kuoroc@yahoo.com.tw

So what is your "digging speed"?
always in 69~73.4M,
but that just one of my computer.

Well we found your problem. Your "digging speed" is too slow.

Real world question: I'm using as many faucets as I can, and I've accumulated .005+ btc.
Using the address in my sig, will I ever be able to spend my btc assuming I continue with these microtransactions? I'm super poor.
I haven't finished reading the thread, btw, so sorry if I missed something.
Halp?
If you keep spending instead of saving in life, you'll always stay poor.
2831  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 51% attack on all altcoins since Feathercoin happening. on: June 19, 2013, 06:42:42 AM
might be some FUD in the OP's threats

You can't just magically create coins out of thin air and you can't change the block chain history.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Weaknesses#Attacker_has_a_lot_of_computing_power

An attacker that controls more than 50% of the network's computing power can, for the time that he is in control, exclude and modify the ordering of transactions. This allows him to:

Reverse transactions that he sends while he's in control
Prevent some or all transactions from gaining any confirmations
Prevent some or all other generators from getting any generations
The attacker can't:

Reverse other people's transactions
Prevent transactions from being sent at all (they'll show as 0/unconfirmed)
Change the number of coins generated per block
Create coins out of thin air
Send coins that never belonged to him
It's much more difficult to change historical blocks, and it becomes exponentially more difficult the further back you go. As above, changing historical blocks only allows you to exclude and change the ordering of transactions. It's impossible to change blocks created before the last checkpoint.

Since this attack doesn't permit all that much power over the network, it is expected that no one will attempt it. A profit-seeking person will always gain more by just following the rules, and even someone trying to destroy the system will probably find other attacks more attractive. However, if this attack is successfully executed, it will be difficult or impossible to "untangle" the mess created — any changes the attacker makes might become permanent.
A 51% cannot change blockchain history. But it can fork back in history creating a new chain. The old chain containing previous people's transactions, disappears.
2832  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 2-6BTC loan on: June 19, 2013, 04:22:27 AM
You want to borrow Bitcoins, yet in this other thread you are selling Bitcoins?

2834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coming ASICs device will further increase the price of BTC. on: June 18, 2013, 05:05:55 PM
There are many miners who blindly follow sites like http://www.coinchoose.com/ and http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency and mine the most profitable coin. They often switch what coin they are mining multiple times a day. There are some pools that do this easily for the miners.

Liquidity is the issue, may be they can mining ALTs by choose which is most profitable, the thing is how could they sold out ???price of alt coins often distorted, if they could not sell it or very difficult to sell ,despite might more profitable, I do not think they will mining to those coin.

Well someone called 'teek' is currently throwing 200GH/s at https://ppcoin.d7.lt/stats mining pool. That 200 isn't from a GPU farm.
2835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coming ASICs device will further increase the price of BTC. on: June 18, 2013, 04:01:24 PM
ASIC devices are only use for BTC mining purpose
Wrong. They are can, and currently are, mining alts, like ppcoin for example.
2836  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Jump on: June 18, 2013, 03:54:36 PM
Because more BTC was bought than sold?

Well that makes no sense?
2837  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My new toy. 1x Block Erupter Blade on: June 17, 2013, 04:22:57 AM
they have a built-in internal flux capacitor

2838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What SHA256 coin will rise next? on: June 16, 2013, 04:28:37 PM
Testnet is useless because they arbitrarily delete all your coins any time they feel like it.

That is what stopped me using it as a game-currency. Players don't like waking up one day to find all their loot has vanished.

-MarkM-

I agree. Plus if they have momentary value they are then useless for testing.
2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What SHA256 coin will rise next? on: June 16, 2013, 11:56:09 AM
Bitcoin Testnet:

It's built into all the Bitcoin clients already- everyone has it, it's secure, safe, stable, has support for exotic non-standard transactions, and it's got the best dev team in the crypto world. Perfect.

Added testnet to poll.

Maybe the TIM is getting old on the hotter card and needs replacing.
