2821  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bojoko.com | Casino comparison site with bitcoin casinos on: July 24, 2018, 08:39:05 PM
Not sure if your list is outdated or I'm not up to date with new casinos in the market. I have never heard of either casino listed on your homepage involving bitcoin. There is no crypto-games.net on it, yes, your list is outdated. You have neither covered any of the famous suppliers which are often used in the bitcoin gambling scene.

This is "Bitcoin friendly Casinos" and not hard core crypto casinos like stake.com etc , his first pick ahtigames.com use an payment provider called Cubits, which make it possible to make a deposit with Bitcoins ( but its complicated )

I would rather see Bitcoin casinos like Bitstarz, Cloudbet, mbitcasino etc ( takes 5 minutes from registrations to bitcoin deposit and you are good to go )
That would be better if he want to attract crypto player who likes Slot actions instead of playing boring games like dices etc .

The most popular casinos on Our site is Bitstarz and Cloudbet, and the reason why..

1, Fast registration
2, Deposit in seconds with Bitcoin and other crypto currencies
3, Fast withdraw, you have your winning within 10 minutes
4, Really cool games for crypto currencies, amazing slots with cool bonus rounds.
5, Great 24/7 fast support
6, Freespins for new users, so they can try the games

etc etc i could go on for ever, this casinos are way better then ahtigames imo...and much more fun than stake.com etc

Hey there NewCryptocasinos are you affiliated to Bojoko that is why you are answering some of the questions? And if you are I do have to agree that your list is lacking, all of the gambling sites listed in your website is pretty new to me. You might want to add some more sites like FortuneJack, Stake , BitDice as this are the gambling sites that we mostly know of (I mean you are promoting your site on a Bitcoin Forum after all). Also for your information Dice is not a boring game. It is just a simple and fast paced game for us gamblers, you'll be surprised on how many people are playing dice on several dice sites.
2822  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Coinbase Establishes Political Action Committee on: July 24, 2018, 05:34:48 PM
They can certainly will. Coinbase has been following what the US government is ordering them to do ever since the IRS required them to provide earning reports for some of their users all they did was follow what they ordered them. The problem I see here is that how can they resolve the problem with the SEC regarding Security tokens? Because I don't think that the SEC is open to giving Coinbase the chance to offer up dozens of security tokens when this happen. We might see a little wiggle room for some security tokens but not all of them will pass.
2823  Economy / Speculation / Re: similarity to last rise on: July 24, 2018, 02:29:59 PM
A lot of profit taking is now happening especially when it has reached the 8,300$ level and when this still goes on it might go down back again below 8,000$ which I think would be favorable for us traders. Hoping for a more steep price increase might not be actually good for us as it will definitely confirm that this is just price manipulation, just look at the volume all the candles are in favor of the sellers which clearly shows that people are selling only in the high points, after that volume still remains the same.
2824  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $280 in one airdrop, is it legit? on: July 24, 2018, 12:59:34 PM
Keep in mind that it is there own valuation of their OWN token. Prices might not be near that or even close once the token is made available in several exchanges. This is what token developers are mostly doing in order to blind people that they will be "receiving" that kind of amount the higher their valuation on their own token air drop the more participants will participate on their air drop which means that a lot of people will be promoting their token for actually the cost of nothing. They might also be doing this because they want that 1.5$ million dollars to be achieve without actually costing anything near that amount.
2825  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: July 24, 2018, 11:17:20 AM
LOTTERY ROUND 164
This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #1 with 340 tickets.
He/she won 1.23699432 BTC.

Should be very lucky and congratulation to a winner. This is the beauty of the lottery because if one is lucky quantity doesn't matter to win huge money. Based on math if we have more tickets our winning chances go high but I believe that luck is the one will increase our winning chances than quantity particularly in a lottery system. Still, waiting for my turn and I believe many people are still waiting for their turn too...
Yeah, it's all about luck. 340 tickets to win number 1 jackpot and get over than 1.23 BTC is really lucky though, i think he used all his luck quota for this year lol.
Nope it is not all about luck, not sure if you haven't seen the past weeks but most of the winners here have hundreds of thousands and even millions of tickets being bought in order just to be one of the top 10 winners. As you can see the more tickets you have the more chances you are winning, relying just on luck alone when you know your chances are low is like hoping for nothing. And there is no such thing as a "luck quota" people don't even know when they will be lucky or not.
2826  Other / Meta / Re: Can't access this forum while using a VPN (for the past 2 days) on: July 24, 2018, 09:47:34 AM
Yeah... That's 100% the issue. I just enabled CyberSec and got the same error when accessing the forum.

Maybe disable it for now?
That's weird (I always had it "ON" [since past few months] and never faced such issue), why all of a sudden this forum is considered as a threat?
I don't think that it is on NordVPN's side, usually when the CyberSec is on and if that website you try in viewing is blocked by NordVPN's CyberSec it will notify you with a warning message. But seeing the screenshot you provided it says clearly that "bitcointalk.org refused to connect" which means that Bitcointalk might have some problems connecting with NordVPN when the CyberSec is on.
2827  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there manipulation of sharks ? on: July 23, 2018, 08:43:00 PM
Sharks/Whales or whatever you call them even if they don't intend to manipulate the market the money and BTC position they have is doing it for them. When someone dumps big you know that it will have a negative ripple effect in the market, the same thing can be said when a whale started buying back again this will trigger the prices to rise again. You are right that Bitcoin is going up again but if you ask me if it will continue to go straight up my answer is no as BTC is still well inside on a down trend and this might just be a short rally before it goes back down again.
2828  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-23] Bitcoin Price Hits $7700 as Other Coins Remain Relatively Sluggish on: July 23, 2018, 05:25:36 PM
The traders are also pulling out there money on altcoins and putting all their bets in Bitcoin as it is only the big mover in the Top 10 right now. This had happened a lot before and I consider this normal as all traders want right now is a mover and they don't want to get their money stuck in a altcoin that is going down. Also with bad news just like Ethereum having a clog network it is giving traction to this kinds of opppsite price movement in favor of BTC.
2829  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡SLIP.GG | The World’s Biggest Roulette Table on: July 23, 2018, 01:30:08 PM
Well this is a big statement "The World’s Biggest Roulette Table" coming from a new roulette site, how can you be the "biggest" Roulette table if none of the members here have even heard you before? Most of the members here are even having some complaints with how your site works from the registration and account verification and I don't even know why you will need their social media accounts just to get verified and also their phone number. These are some information not needed in majority of the gambling sites out here. It will just make you look like that you are gathering sensitive information from your potential members which is not cool btw.
2830  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: In order to improve mining and the max transaction rate of the network... on: July 23, 2018, 12:10:26 PM
Since 1) and 2) already has been commented, i'll focus on 3) and 4).

3. Adjust the block reward according to the mining difficulty.

This would destroy the 'fixed supply' property of bitcoin.
You could easily generate more bitcoin by simply inserting more hash power into the bitcoin.

This would have a negative effect on the price (dollar value would drop + volatility would heavily increase since the whole supply and supply injected into the network hourly would vary extremely).
I will have to agree, if this kind of system is implemented you are giving the miners the chance to take advantage of the block reward, they could easily obtain more Bitcoin. They could also easily choose when they will mine or not depending on what block reward is given based on the level of difficulty they will have which will also be bad to the network overall.
2831  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple accounts in signature bounty on: July 23, 2018, 07:51:35 AM
As you may know thousands of new members register in the forum every week and Jr. Member is the highest rank a forum member can achieve without receiving any merit that is why similar date of registration as well as similar post count can't be compelling enough to give them a negative feedback by a DT member. I also gave some time if their post are the same or similar only to find out that all of their post are in the Turkish Local Board. You must provide more time in your investigation and find out if they are using the same wallet addresses or if their addresses belongs to one wallet, other than that you won't see this members tag as they are considered clean.
2832  Other / Meta / Re: Text spinning/disguised plagiarism on: July 22, 2018, 06:18:31 PM
Vitalik will lessen the reward for excavators by 80%.
WTF?  Excavators?  I get that it's sort of a synonym for "miners", but these types of posts just make me slap my head.  My head actually has red palm prints that I don't think are going to go away.

Good catch, OP.  Did you catch these manually or are you using some sort of program?  Also, did you report these thieves?
They might be using an online Rephraser/Rewording Tool and copying and pasting the product of it. It seems like this amateur mistakes will make them be easily caught of their wrong doings. These kinds of tools are widely available online however all of them don't work 100% as some words are really not meant to be change just like the mistake you pointed out. Although a lot of the words have been changed you cannot consider this as a paraphrased version of the original post as merely changing the words is not enough to make them officially your own words.
2833  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a Market Cap? on: July 22, 2018, 04:31:19 PM
In short, it refers to the total dollar market value of a company’s outstanding shares. Commonly referred to as “market cap,” it is calculated by multiplying a company’s shares outstanding by the current market price of one share.

this is the important keyword! which means you shouldn't even be using market capitalization for a cryptocurrency specially when it comes to altcoins that have unaccounted for supplies. for instance all those premined altcoins that have billions of coins out.
that is why market cap is misleading and even useless in most cases when it comes to cryptocurrencies. in a company your shares mean something and you can't create fake ones not in circulation but in cryptocurrency world you can have literary any number of coins as your supply that you want. and market cap of a coin is simply supply * price.
I don't think that market cap is totally useless in the cryptocurrency market, yes the definition of market cap is usually linked to stocks of a company but other industries can use it as well such as the cryptocurrency market. Mostly just by knowing all the market cap of cryptocurrencies you will know  who are the top movers in the market and just by knowing that will mean a lot to traders as they will basically know where the money is at play. Yes if you are looking for those "hidden gems" you won't be able to use market cap as a tool but if you want to know where you can trade or make some bull run plays, market cap is the first things you need to look at in trading.
2834  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why are governments biased towards banning Cryptos? on: July 21, 2018, 12:13:18 PM
I don't see what you are currently experiencing and perhaps it is maybe because you are living in a country where the government is strict and is against cryptocurrencies. For example if you read news about Japan and Korea you will only see news related to their law enforcement when it comes to their regulated exchanges, you won't see news saying that they are against cryptocurrencies. Their only concern is people who are trying to take advantage of this cryptocurrencies such as money launderers and terrorist or any kind of criminal, their very nature of being an anonymous cryptocurrecy makes authorities approach the matter more seriously.

Just take a look at this news in Australia where they have a company who newly launch a cryptocurrency vault acting as a cold storage, obviously this won't even be possible without the Australian Government permitting them to do so. This in itself is evidence that not all governments are against cryptocurrency. You might be misunderstanding some information you are reading.
2835  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-19] Crypto Company Change Launches App to Trade Bitcoin Commission-Free on: July 19, 2018, 08:21:54 PM
As for being commission free, I don't think so. There will be a fee incorporated somewhere, that's for sure. What the article doesn't say is how the users are supposed to charge their mobile application with fiat money (to be converted to crypto).

On second look, you can go to their website and find out more about their service. They are planning to introduce subscription plans for active traders. So it won't be free after all. And they are planning to have their own ATM card, so charging won't be a problem.

On the down side, I guess the users won't have much privacy. In any case, their target customers probably won't care too much about that. One thing is certain: this is a good step toward a wider adoption of cryptocurrencies.

Visited their website and scanned the whole website to look even one shred of evidence that they are charging something and I have found nothing that even the card they are offering can be ordered for free, even the withdrawal has no commission charge based on the price comparison they have in the website. This is confirming my guess that this might be their marketing strategy to get as much customers as possible before charging anything other than that if their services might are really free they might be showing some ads soon in their app to keep their services running as their is literally no way they will make this business for free without earning something in return.
2836  Economy / Economics / Re: US Congressman gets paid to trash Bitcoin on: July 19, 2018, 06:09:29 PM
Really you call this a "donation" what they doing is more like a bribe as Allied Wallet had gained some political interest and definitely it is some kind of favor given in return by Congressman Sherman. For starters their company is obviously affected by these cryptocurrencies and suddenly this Congressman is claiming that Bitcoin is a "crook" all of a sudden. To tell you honestly Rep. Brad Sherman does not look knowledgeable in the topic of cryptocurrency particularly with Bitcoin, as he repeatitively linking it to criminal activities which is the default impression of people who lack knowledge about Bitcoin.
2837  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-19] Crypto Company Change Launches App to Trade Bitcoin Commission-Free on: July 19, 2018, 03:56:18 PM
There is no such thing a "Free" in the world of business. Yes you might experience 0 charges for now but it is there strategy for their newly launch app, Change might be using this zero fee transactions as a promotional tool to gain more users using their service and they will soon apply charges/fees as soon as they reach their target number of users. This has been used by other companies such as Grab and Uber when they are entering in another market, they unbelievably offered free if not cheap rides during their first year but as soon as a lot of people are using their service their rates started to go up, and that is their way of covering up some losses they have with that kind of promotion.
2838  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Generate 12 word seed for hardware wallet on: July 19, 2018, 03:09:00 PM
In my opinion the only way to be secure from seizure of your funds is to memorize the seed. With 12 words it's much easier. This is why I need to generate the 12 words.

Thats a horrible idea.
Even if you are going to memorize the 12 words, without a proper backup this is just careless.
There are a lot of things which can happen which lead to a loss of your memory (e.g. car accident, alzheimer, trauma, shock moment, ...).

Your whole cryptos would be gone in this case. A proper backup (better: 2 or 3) is a must have.
I have to agree a lot of people have forgotten their seeds in that way, to keep you some real life example a lot of people are even forgetting their 6 digit ATM card pin numbers already what more if you will memorize 12 words or even 24 words. Writing it down is really the way to go. And if you really don't trust that process you can scramble their arrangement and have another note written where you will write their proper arrangements, both notes must be hidden in different location, preferably on a safe and secure location/place only you will know.
2839  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you have any experience in ICO investing? on: July 19, 2018, 01:40:33 PM
Could you site any particulars? Because I can go on and on and it might take long to create such post. Do you want to know more about KYCs? Price Expectations? Telegram groups? Scam spotting? Because your question is really vague and can be answered in various ways which I don't think you will be satisfied. Generally ICO investing touches a lot of subjects and problems as unlike other assets such as stocks it is run independently by its developers and the nature of it not being monitored well by the government so it falls in a lot of issues as well.
