2861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who's actually still selling this? It will be $5,000 - $8,000 in no time on: August 15, 2017, 09:47:35 PM
Why sell now, don't like money?  You will not feel too smart when you realize you could wait a few days and he $3,000 more for it.
Heaps of reasons why and i'll just dump them here for you to read
-A person could be need for some money, for example my PC broke so I had to sell a bit of bitcoin just to fix it.
- Someone might cash out partially, say you have 5 bitcoin, and you sell one for peace of mind, and you hold the rest.
-Price is hard to predict and people may just sell now since it is too stressful for them m
2862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: August 15, 2017, 09:37:25 PM
Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin?

How would we know?  How certain are they?  We can't tell because nobody/no one would say how many bitcoins he/she has on his/her hands Tongue
There is a chance that they actually do have heaps of bitcoin and I suspect so due to 2 reasons
- Not sure if this is the FBI's job, but the US government try and catch people who have a lot of bitcoin and seem to avoiding tax.
-The FBI is always talking down another dark net site after another, and bitcoin could help posing to be a buyer on the site.

Interesting. There is already project like patientory. But competition is always good for everybody. I will follow the progress of this project. I hope you will succeed. God bless.
Thanks Smiley
Congrats on launching your project!

I am sorry to say I will have to also inject some skepticism here. I read the entire whitepaper, and aside from a lot of healthcare and blockchain jargon being thrown around, I don't really understand what this coin will do. You are good at talking about healthcare providers, EHRs and the like, but I still don't really understand the purpose of Litra?
Thanks, the goal of litra is to connect both the patient and the doctors, for any more questions be sure to join our telegram.
2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litra Coin: Welcome to the Future of Healthcare on: August 15, 2017, 09:17:00 AM
It smells like scam everyone who talks here is accounts Newbie  Grin , You have to be very stupid to do that but there is everything in life, and this project smells like a scam, I do not stop even reading the white paper I'm not interested in this
Just for your information, he has a legendary and hero member working for him and rank doesb mean anything. The president could make a newbie account and he would still be more accomplished than you.

You are quite obviously being shill for your product and it would be appreciated if you didn't run around calling other icos scams.
2865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin supersedes Cash in the near future? on: August 15, 2017, 08:52:33 AM
Being the first digital currency to really establish deep and firmly in the market. Do you think in the near future Bitcoin will dominate our current currency?

Do you mean overtake paper money such as cash or do you mean will bitcoin overtake credit cards and other forms of online payment methods?

I don't really ever think that Bitcoin will ever overtake cash since they have too much of a difference and comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges. I think that cash will be here for a long time, until everything gets computised.

Bitcoin could overtake credit cards, they have better features than them and it would work well.
2866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins and making money on: August 15, 2017, 08:46:30 AM
Ok if i buy 100 dollars on bitcoin and in the next days the bitcoin price goes way way down, will i lose my bitcoin can i just leave the bitcoin there for a year and wait till it gets the highest price and sell it?

do you ever lose your bitcoin if they go to low or you can just leave them there forever till they go high o  price?

Bitcoin is a form of storing your money and it is similar to most investments. You will never lose the investment but the price of it may go down, causing you to lose your money. The only way for you to lose bitcoin is if you lose your private keys or you get hacked.

You can leave your bitcoin for as long as you want as long as you have the private keys to them to prevent them for being stolen.

I think there is little mistake in Twitter campaign rates:

Quote
Rates:
Tier 1: 250+ followers - 35 LTA/Week
Tier 2: 750+ followers - 30 LTA/Week
Tier 3: 1500+ followers - 25 LTA/Week

In my opinion, for more followers should be higher rate then for less Wink
Caught Sad
Op is sleeping, he should be back in 8 hours to correct that error.

I will also be managing this campaign.
2873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best bitcoin offline wallet? on: August 14, 2017, 10:16:54 AM
Been looking for best offline hardware wallets and have seen the Nano Ledger wallet on this site http://www.fastbuybitcoin.com/where-to-buy-bitcoin

Does anyone know of any others they can recommend? Or if they have experience with the Ledger wallet? I'm quite new to the Bitcoin world but want the safest option for my private keys. Cheers

The big hardware wallets out there are probably the Ledger Nano S and the trezor. One of my friends was lucky enough to get a Ledger when it was on promotion and he got it for only 40 pounds. I am thinking of getting one when they are available again.

Trezors are more expensive though, keep that in mind. Would recommend both, since they are both high-quality wallets and they give access to your private keys which is always good.
2874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NY Government Employee Fined for Mining Bitcoin at Work on: August 14, 2017, 10:07:03 AM
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/government-employee-fined-after-getting-caught-mining-bitcoin-at-work/

Quote
According to a recently published disposition, a computer systems manager at New York City’s Department of Education (DOE), named Vladimir Ilyayev, was fined after getting caught using the DOE’s computers to mine bitcoin.

According to reports, Vladimir Ilyayev has been working at the DOE for over a decade and, after getting caught, wasn’t fired, but got a fine of four vacation days, worth an estimated $611, by the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board (COIB).

The employee installed a bitcoin mining program on the DOE’s computers that ran at night, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. This went on for an entire month in 2014, before he got caught by the DOE’s Division of Instructional and Information Technology.

However, this wasn’t the first time Vladimir Ilyayev attempted to use the DOE’s computer to mine bitcoin. According to the disposition, he made “five or six” attempts to install the bitcoin mining program, and in each one of them he was “thwarted by the DOE security software.” Since he didn’t give up, he eventually managed to bypass security protocols for a month.

Four vacation days is a pretty low fine, and I expect he thinks it was all well worth the hassle.

Lol he should have been fired for installing outside software on government/company computers. This really paints a bad picture of Bitcoin, especially to people who are new.

Wonder how much Bitcoin he actually got, doesn't seem like he got paid much anyways.

I dont think he made more than 611$ and should have got fired for installing anything on a company computer. It is the regular routine everywhere in the private sector but for Govt officials its kind of different. If it was in 2010 then he would have kicked them and leave the company because the value would have been in millions.
Well, 611 is an average of around 150 USD pay a day for his job, which when you put in perspective is actually pretty bad. Say he works around 8 hours a day which is barely 20 dollars an hour. That's is barely anything for someone who is a computer systems manager.

They should have fired him and he could get a better job.

2876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: August 14, 2017, 06:27:54 AM
Everyone wanted higher bitcoin price and we achieved this but another problem become transaction fees. When bitcoin's price was low, we had to pay also low fee and now when it rised, we have to pay high fee in bitcoins and plus that high fee is more higher with current price. Is this fair? The higher the price, the more money miners have with bitcoin exchange.
To my mind when price becomes high, we have to pay low fee and when it becomes low, than fee has to be high. To my mind it had to be done like this from the begining.

This does seem to be a pretty big problem. When the price of Bitcoin rises, the price of transaction fees become more and more expensive. This makes Bitcoin look more and more for the wealthy as the price rises since no one will ever pay 10 dollars for a 100 transaction.

This also discourages Bitcoin from becoming a mainstream currency since the blockchain will become even more congested and Bitcoin will be unusable.
2877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Misconception About Cryptocurrency on: August 14, 2017, 05:54:31 AM
Quote
The biggest misconception about cryptocurrency is that it’s just a passing trend, which is an emotional reaction to the paradigm shift that’s ultimately taking place. Cryptocurrency is here to stay – and as every minute passes, hundreds of thousands of new users are adopting it."

 - Ron Chernesky, CEO of investFeed

I think Ron has hit the point in here. Indeed, people are now starting to realize that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general is already here and it has no plan to get dead or go away soon. I am sure that many people are quite apprehensive about Bitcoin and that can be normal because Bitcoin is something still new and it can take for people to adopt and thrive. Cryptocurrency has finally arrived and those in the forefront would reap most of the benefits resulting into the use of Bitcoin and other alts.

If hundreds of thousands of people have been adopting, pretty sure in like less than a day everyone would have adopeted bitcoin.

Anyway getting on to the point here, I think that Ron has hit the point here. When I tried to introduce some people to crypto they just thought it was a fad that was going to die soon.

Think one more misconception is "Bitcoin is a get rich fast scheme"
2878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you consider yourself as experienced traders? on: August 14, 2017, 04:46:40 AM
in case you do. I'm building in the last few months a tool that will help cryptocurrency traders in this crazy big market:).
the tool will collect data from all around the web and summarize it in a beautifully simple way in real time.

I'm looking for people that will test my google chrome extension widget and give me feedback. In the next few days, i will release the first version and I'm looking for cool people that want to take apart of something that will help them as traders but also for the cryptocurrency community!

If you're interested let me know here, or pm me:)

Well I used to do a bit of trading and I am looking to get back into the game, if your interested in my testing, hit me with a pm. A chrome extension could definilty be nice and its a new way of looking at things. Would there be rewards for alpha/beta tester?

Actually im not experience trading, In this furom im doing is participated in a bounty campaign, Just like signature campaign or social media campaign. Maybe the other her in this furom they are pro for trading.
Stop spamming your signature campaign, what your saying doesn't relate to the subject and barely is english.

2880  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to automate Bounty campaign? on: August 13, 2017, 12:38:59 PM
I"m looking for a way to check on the bounty campaign - to make sure that people who signed up actually posted, shared, retweeted, etc.

Taking suggestions, please - thanks!

The way most social media campaigns work is that they have a hashtag related to your project. You can get a bot to do that for you but then it would be abused by low-quality spammers.

Don't think it is possible for the signature campaign, you could get a bot to count post with 100+ character but heaps of spam would occur.

Anyway, sent you a pm regarding this, thanks
