2881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRX to $1? on: June 27, 2021, 11:15:57 AM

What are your thoughts? Do you think TRX will go all the way to $1 someday? If not, why? How much do you think TRX will be worth by the end of the year? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
Since your question runs from "SOMEDAY" meaning any time ?

so my answer is YES of course , Tron is one of the best currency i am holding so I'm very confident that one day 1$ is indeed be on the way.

It's also strange when other top coins can reach new ATH this year, but the price of TRX is rising slowly and has not reached ATH until now and tends to be stable, but to reach the price of $ 1 it is not impossible for TRX, just need trigger news for TRX to reach that price.
There are some attacks against tron , that's why this hinders trx to reach the top sooner but mind you like dogecoin? tron is one of the most used currency now.

Tron is definitely an awesome option to transact with. Lightning fast and extremely cheap. I didn't pay a lot of attention to Tron for quite a while, but kind of fell in love with it. Though what is the missing piece of the puzzle so that Tron can go up a lot? Is the network not as popular as its competitors?

Only time could tell, what's important is that we are seeing the development of this project and if it's not yet appreciated now, eventually in the future it will be appreciated. I love how its undervalued as it only means we will be able to continue accumulating TRX at a cheapest value.
If you look at the project for me it is a pretty good project but if you look at the price of TRX so far, of course this is far from what I expected,
indeed with a cheap TRX price at least we can collect it like you said,
and there is no other choice but to hold it long term and hope the price can reach $1 in the future

$1 is just the minimum, TRX will certainly reach that value in the long run, it's not the only high supply coin that would reach $1, other projects had already reached $1. If even shitcoins could hit $1, how much more a project that has a great potential in the future, let's think of that, it's very simple to analyze its future.
2882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 27, 2021, 10:15:54 AM
Was a great game and an exciting finish. The Suns are now 1 win away from competing in their first Finals series since the days of Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan. The Clippers are doing better than I would have expected without Kawhi, but they just don’t have enough to beat the Suns. Maybe next year will be their time, but I think they’re still a missing piece away from being a true championship threat.
Yes, both teams (Clippers and Suns) are playing really well, for me it makes the game more exciting.

Look, I'm pretty sure if Kawhi hadn't been injured, there was a good chance the Clippers would beat the Suns.

I'm cheering for Suns and Hawks to reach the NBA finals. Both teams are surprising me, Young, Booker, Ayton and other players, it is deserved for them to reach the finals as they "carried" the team on their backs in previous games. They are young and are standing out in the playoffs

Suns now are just one win away from getting into the NBA Finals.

On the other series, I guess the Bucks have a great chance of advancing because they are so dominant although they loss in game 1.
We don't know but let's cheer on our favorite team. If we have the Bucks vs Suns in the NBA Finals, it should be an even match, we see good odds for this match-up, so I'm hoping that would happen.

2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 26, 2021, 08:49:24 PM
I don't know, but Spence Jr. hasn't fought a boxer as fast and as Manny, so we might see him expose in this fight as some experts believe that Spence is too slow for Manny Pacquiao. We have a lot of predictions to consider but it's the speed I believe which is the advantage of Manny.
If Manny Pacquiao is in his prime touch then he will trouble Errol Spence Jr with his speed and there is no debate about that and some here are confident that he is really training hard even though he did not fight in he past two years and if Manny Pacquiao can bring that same style of offensive boxing he will easily beat Errol Spence but the odds makers are also looking at the age and so is the reason Manny Pacquiao is heavy underdog.
I dont think if people will consider the age gap of Manny Pacquiao compared to Spence Jr., at his age Pacquiao can still fight with the same strength even though he didn't fight for almost two years. If we really compared both fighters, in my own, I still prefer on Manny Pacquiao technically because he is faster than Spence and once a good fighter is all about the skills how to fight not only rely on the strength.

I saw a short video clip of Manny Pacquiao and his training and it seems he trained very hard and prepare his self on this fight. I still on his side on the match.

Not everyone thinks about that age gap though, I am one of the many believers of Manny Pacquiao and I believe he can still beat another champion. Spence may be a tough opponent but Manny will always find his opponent's weakness and beat him.  Being an underdog is a gift because as a bettor, we always like to get good value for our bet while thinking our fighter has the bigger chance of winning.
Lots had been in shocked on where they do see that Pacquiao is the underdog here which i do really agree on what you had said about taking value with our bets since we can really see a big chance of winning this fight even though he's that much older than Spence but we know on how Legendary fighter Manny Pacquiao is, he wont really be called on that title for nothing even though he's a bit old but doesnt mean that he wont be capable on taking down younger fighters even they are already into their prime.Lets see on what would happen on this upcoming fight.!

I think it doesn't matter if he is an underdog because that is only in the eyes of the oddsmakers. If you'll ask the fans, the majority of them would say that Manny will win, so getting an underdog line is on the advantage of the bettors that believe in him. This is going to be a "war-like" boxing, like we usually see, Manny always gives his challenger a tough time and he would do the same in this fight.
2885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 26, 2021, 08:35:18 PM
Quote
PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said the possibility of having fans in attendance during games could happen as long as those coming into the playing venues are vaccinated.
The PBA is still seeking approval from the Inter-Agency Task Force for Emerging Infectious Diseases for its proposed July start for the 2021-22 season, and Marcial said that they’d study the prospect of having fans inside the venues once they get the nod from the government.

So, if approve then we could see the start of the 46th PBA this coming July and the good news is if you vaccinated then you can watch the game live in the venue just like in the NBA.

I think no more bubble set-up for the PBA this as it's very costly to operate, they will just wait for the vaccination to roll out and will even use its players to convince people to be vaccinated for us to be safe from covid and we will be back to normal once again if 70 percent of the population are vaccinated.

Good news for avid fans, if this proposal will proceed and the IATF gives them the clearance on site fans will enjoy the game, no more bubble set up though attendance might still in question if they'll allow 100% fully vaccinated or they will consider safety protocols still.

Though there's new covid variant(Delta) which being feared that is's more quick being spread fully vaccinated individuals are still unsure if they are safe with this new mutated virus(not sure  if I use the right term for this.)

All in all still good to know that progress within this target dates is already rolling.. Wink

Maybe that's the reason why there's a little delay, we might not see a bubble set up that was previously reported, and since some people already got their vaccines, so just like the NBA, they are allowed to be in the arena again. This is a good development, hopefully, they'll be able to realize this and gain an approval from the IATF.

This is what fans are waiting for, to finally see live PBA games to meet their favorite players in person. I hope the IATF would not make a stupid policy of still wearing a face shield when in the Arena as that would really kill the excitement. We are just way behind the big countries development, they are already allowing people to watch big games in an arena, but as usual, we can always copy their rules for safety protocol.
2886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 25, 2021, 09:46:10 PM
Some people said Masayoshi Nakatani is a tough cookie to track wish I don't disagree but we need to understand Lomachenko choose to fight him on purpose probably as his preparation for his fight with Teofimo Lopez.
Aside from that, I watch the face off video and I can see how Lomachenko was having funny wish shows he's ready to fight Nakatani to win the fight.

Any live streaming link of this fight?

I love to see this if someone would give a free live streaming link, the site that I followed is not operational anymore, so my best chance to watch the fight is through its highlights, and it's not exciting anymore.
2887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China FUD on: June 25, 2021, 09:32:28 PM
It's not a problem for me, China does the same thing in every bull run with the same story Cheesy

Let's see their previous bans.

2013: China has banned its banks from handling transactions involving the Bitcoin virtual currency.

2017: Crack down against local exchanges.

2019: ban on btc mining

China always ban & unban bitcoin-related activities, so do not pay attention to it, soon all these restrictions will be removed

As a crypto investor, the best thing to do now is just to forget about China so it will not affect our decision-making. They claim to have the biggest miners in the world, that's why they can easily manipulate everything using their power on regulation, but if miners will move to other countries, I think China news would not be significant anymore unless they'll announce that they will regulate crypto and allow anything related to it.

Let's enjoy the NBA first, the NBA Finals will be over next month and that time maybe is a good start for the PBA.
Fewer games mean fewer bets but fewer losses, that's my take. Grin

We are only hearing rumors, but that's okay, it's information to take and it's just right the organization will not publish stories that are rumors only, the moment they'll publish, that should be official and that is the good news we are all waiting for.

Just as we're talking last time about Ravena's transfer and disappointment into B League. There's another Filipino that's being imported by a team in the B League and I guess that Japan's scouting team is looking for Filipino players and this is a sign that there could be more from our homeland that they'll take into their country for the B League.  Cool

They can't wait for Kiefer, so they are looking for other prospects and I think this time they were successful.

By the way guys, have you seen the Gilas vs China tune-up game?

I was a bit busy and I was not able to watch it, I also can't find highlights of that game. Did the Gilas win or China just dominate them?

Here's the result, https://tv5.espn.com/basketball/gilas/story/_/id/31691591/gilas-wraps-clark-bubble-stint-win-china-tune-game

Quote
Gilas Pilipinas settled for a 79-all draw with China in an untelevised tune-up game on Wednesday at the AUF Sports and Cultural Center in Angeles City, Pampanga, according to reporting from ESPN5.com's Carlo Pamintuan who was at the venue.

It was a draw both teams scored 79 all. Since this is just an exhibition game, there's no OT here.

Ohh thanks, wow! I'm surprised the Philippines were able to compete with China well, this young lineup is really legit, China is a superior team and yet they were able to tie the score in this tune-up game. I would say, we have a good future ahead. Kail Sotto leads the Gilas with 13 points, this guy is not overrated.

What can you say about this? would you agree with Ramon Fernandez here?
IMO, I think we should give them a chance, do not replace them with PBA players as they have already proven their worth.

I agree with Jimmy Alapag's saying that once PH took the World FIBA, they will still need the veteran guys and not just pure cadets on their roster.

“But if you talk about playing against the world-class teams, your Serbias, your Croatias, and your Argentinas, me, personally, you’ll need some professional guys there.” link

The better setup would be, those top 5 performers on cadets then the rest will be the professional ones. That will be a good combination.

Maybe the commissioner just wants to try these young players to the FIBA world and see if the Gilas could compete well. Actually, our main purpose here is just to be in the FIBA world, that is already our greatest achievement as we can never win against very talk American and European players. You can get the top players in the PBA but they don't have the same chemistry as the current roster, that would still be useless IMO.
2892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China FUD on: June 21, 2021, 01:45:28 PM
We don't like the news but it's already here.

China is a big part of crypto, so losing investors in China is really a big thing.
Bitcoin might struggle but it will continue to survive until it will recover and create a bull run again.

The restriction in China is not permanent, who knows they'll change their stance in the future.

Let's hope for that.

We have some light on the Clippers fans.

Leonard is out indefinitely but he is still not out in the WCF.

With this current update, https://www.cbssports.com/nba/players/playerpage/1715792/kawhi-leonard.. hopefully, he will be able to play in game 3.

Clippers' Kawhi Leonard: Will not travel to Phoenix
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire
Leonard (knee) will continue rehabbing at home and will not travel with the Clippers to Phoenix for the start of the Western Conference Finals, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.

This essentially rules Leonard out for the first two games of the series against the Suns, but it's still in the realm of possibility that he returns for Game 3 in Los Angeles. However, there haven't been any updates on tangible progress for Leonard. In the meantime, Nicolas Batum, Marcus Morris and Terance Mann should continue seeing increased usage.
2894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 20, 2021, 09:00:07 PM
I was not able to watch the game, I was busy today but I'm happy that the Philippines have won twice against the South Korea team. It's not luck anymore, what we witnessed is their real skills, they are just underestimated and South Korea might have regret when they said Philippines only won by luck.

This batch of Gilas cadets has a very bright future in terms of representing the Philippines in the FIBA competition. Personally, I was thinking that their first win against South Korea is a mix of talent and luck hehe.

If I'm not wrong this batch of cadets has the highest height average and most of them are athletic enough to defend the Koreans bombardment in the three-point area.

And we should not also forgot the coaching staff who orchestrated all the plays that made this win possible, especially to coach Tab Baldwin.

Definitely, we can't discount their coaching staff's effort.

These young talents will not succeed without a good coach, and coach Tab seemed to have work with some of the players before so they already know them despite a short period of time preparing for this competition. Also, the presence of Sotto is really big, I would not anymore say he is overrated as he is protecting the paint, grabbing those rebounds, and do some dunks which we barely see with our old guys' lineup.

I'm definitely not jumping any of their ships at least not in game one, I've only gotten a few on the bet builder, I have Ayton and PG on over 7.5 and 6.5 rebounds respectively and Crowder p+a+r Over 16 and the Clippers Over 98.5 for a total of 2.5+ Odds.

If I were to pick a side, It'd definitely be the Suns.

Good luck on that pick, this seems to be a  very close game. Suns lead at the half and you can get them at -4.5 live.
Ayton and PG are the top performers of their respective teams. As of now, Ayton has 3 rebounds and PG has 2 rebounds.

Still a lot of time, the 2nd half is coming so hopefully, you'll hit that bet @Harkorede .
2896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 20, 2021, 12:23:10 PM
I can't decide on who's to bet, but I would definitely watch this fight as it's a big fight.

I'm sure the majority of you will vote for Casimero to win, but I would say, this isn't an easy fight for Casimero.
Donaire still has that killer counter punch and that hook, I don't know, it's really hard to tell right now.

maybe, the higher will the best training and discipline will win.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Naoya Inoue vs Michael Dasmarinas June 19 on: June 20, 2021, 11:47:33 AM
I just knew in the first round that Dasmarinas will be knock out and it's just a matter of time, he is complacent not taking the fight to Inoue just like what Donaire did, waiting for a counter punch that is unlikely to happen, Inoue just added more knock out wins and he again proved that he is a monster, he needs more quality fight, not like this he needs to unify the title and wipe out all the opposition.

Inoue is a monster, he showed how monster he is in this fight, and good thing the odds were not available as I was not able to bet on Dasmarinas. What we witnessed was a classic Inoue, that body shot is really killing his opponent and I would say I have to salute Donaire for surviving up to the 12 rounds in their fight.

Maybe it's time to see a Inoue vs Casimero fight.
Probably he was intimidated from the first round, this is his first fight in US soil and then facing the monster. He was there just to survived, we thought that Dasmarinas has some chance to pull an upset, but Inoue is too much for him.

We will have to see whether Casimero can win against Donaire to see Inoue vs Casimero in the future. This is the fight that we also wanted to see.

It's pretty obvious that Dasmarinas can't take the punches of Inoue, it's just like the opponents of Manny Pacquiao in the past that once they feel how strong the punch of Pacquiao, they just don't engage anymore, they just fight to survive not to win.

Congratulations to Inoue, and sorry for our Filipino fighter, don't worry guys, we still have two champions, Donaire and Casimero.
2898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 20, 2021, 10:58:41 AM
Bucks beat the odds on the home team winning the majority of game 7. But they have to take an extra regulation and Durant was too tired just by looking at his body language with he take that airball.

Things really changed for the Nets when Irving was down, it's not for them this season, hopefully, next season they'll all be healthy. Also, we did not see the contribution of the 3 point shooters of the Nets like Harris, he seemed to be struggling starting game 3 of the series.

Quote
But as he has said, his foot is too long that it could have been the difference as if that is a 3 then they would have won already and ending Bucks run. I reckon that Sixers will win the game against the Hawks to set Bucks vs Sixers for the ECF championship.

This should be a fun series to watch, it's an even match up and I'm sure the only advantage on both are their home court advantage on every game.

They refuse to read the thread very well and understand the rules

They are very much in a haste to earn and that is why they earn up being scammed.

They sheepishly follow existing application

They refuse to doubt when it sounds too good to be true

***** Just imagine application kept coming in, in an April Fool's Thread.
Are these applications from bots...

This is still very relevant today and will still relevant as long as bounty hunters are not responsible enough to do research on the project they are promoting, I even see some bounty hunters getting a red trust, for continuing to promote reported scam projects and they are not aware of it because they are not following projects that they are promoting.

Then they wonder why they did not get their stakes or get tagged, that is because they are not visiting or engaging in the project's chat group and they are not frequenting the scam report to check if the project they are promoting has a scam report.

If they pay attention to the development of the project they are supporting, they would know the latest update, and that includes about its reputation. The thing is, if we support a scam project, our account gets tagged and we will never have a good opportunity to work again.

Therefore, it's very important to study, follow, and monitor the project if we care so much about our bitcointalk account and any platform that we have like a social media accounts. It's a simple logic, if you promote a project with bad reputation, then you also have a bad reputation.
2900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Naoya Inoue vs Michael Dasmarinas June 19 on: June 19, 2021, 09:26:14 PM
The odds are pretty attractive for Dasmariñas with +900.
We all know that Inoue is the heavy favourite in this match with 90% winning probability as per predictions. But I believe Dasmariñas could find a way to beat Inoue.
If he could beat Inoue that means a $100 bet will turn into $900 and that's so d*mn tempting.
https://www.oddsshark.com/boxing/naoya-inoue-vs-michael-dasmarinas-odds-fight-prediction-betting

What do you guys think?

It's really attractive, but will you bet on the betting sites that have the odds now?  I think it's better if we wait until it's already available, we still have one day and hopefully, that odds will be out. I guess it's not only +900 but we can see +1500 in other sites as one site has x15 wins on Dasmarinas.

We are going to see this fight tomorrow but still not betting odds on the popular crypto sportsbook.

What happened? Aren't they interested in taking our bets?

I believe bookies will be able to get a good amount of bets especially bettors from the Philippines and Japan, so it's not wise not to offer a betting line of this particular fight.

We are only seeing a prediction of this fight but not the real odds on the crypto sports book.
https://sportsbookwire.usatoday.com/2021/06/19/naoya-inoue-vs-michael-dasmarinas-fight-odds-picks-and-prediction/

There's no other choice if we like to bet, either take the risk betting on a new crypto site, or an old site with not so good reputation, or else bet on fiat bookies as they usually have this kind of betting lines.
