1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 30, 2022, 07:01:19 PM
Maybe, Casimero's promoter already take care of it. Because if they can settle it outside, the better.

Promoters have nothing to do with that. And what do you mean settling it outside? Casimero has a legal team to care for the business and promoters only do their own business too, only related to boxing and nothing else.

Since the issue is now silent maybe it was smoothly working on progress. Or I might agree with the above post that here in PH, the case is rolling slow or maybe the authorities want to settle the case and the presence of Casimero is necessary which is just possible after the match between him and Paul Butler.

Guys, if just a few weeks' periods of sleep and we will now witness this fight.

Maybe he is just confuse that he mistakenly include the promoter on Casimero's team or maybe he just don't know that they have separate jobs.

We cannot literally tell if the case was filed and it is just running slowly before a presence in the court is needed, there's no news about it all or updates what have happened in the case.

3 more weeks to go mate, and then we can witness it!

I'm a bit surprised when I was saw this thread that there is a possibility that McGregor and Jake Paul will fight soon as "the notorious" is eyeing to get a fight soon, so I dig up a little search in the internet about this two and I found this:

Quote
Paul, who has amassed a professional boxing record of 5-0, has long angled for a fight with McGregor and went on to claim he would knock him out.

"I would KO Conor in boxing or MMA. Right hand of God," he said.
Link: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/conor-mcgregor-responds-jake-pauls-26449571

Did literally Jake Paul mean it? That's just a pure suicide especially if the fight will happen in the octagon. Lol Grin

Why are you so sure of McGregor's victory in the octagon? Paul is heavier by about 15 kilograms, so it is not known whose advantage will increase if the fight takes place there. Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor due to the greater mass (he record cut weight for weighing and then record gained it before the fight) and everyone saw what an advantage he had. And if I understand correctly, it was about 5-6 kilograms and not about 15.

Why am I sure of McGregor's victory, Is that really a question? Huh Of course McGregor has the advantage in the octagon than Jake Paul who is a boxer not an MMA fighter and the latter have no experienced in the octagon even if he is heavier by 15 kilograms as you said, let's not forget that the challenger is just new in the boxing industry and here he comes now challenging some lions not just in boxing but in other sport as well.

Mate, you cannot just really compare Khabib to Jake Paul. Is that for real? The kid is nowhere near Khabib's prowess even if let's say he is 15 or 20 kilos heavier and let me tell you again, Jake Paul is not an MMA fighter or even a novice in that sport.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: March 30, 2022, 05:43:35 PM
If Whyte felt disrespected because of ticketing issues then he has a valid point but why would that be the biggest problem? It is clear many things are going on behind the scenes. Why on earth did Hearn and the Whyte camp wait until deadline day before signing the contract? Hearn claims it to make Fury upset and to play mind games but Fury is way beyond those small minded attempts. Add to that Whyte wanting a bigger share of the purse, it did not help.

Hearn can say all he likes about being glad not to promote the fight but let us not forget he did bid to promote the fight but was outbid by the record-breaking blind bid by Frank Warren (promoter of Fury). I think Hearn is just upset he lost out but he must have learned his lesson because if a Fury vs Joshua fight ever went head he would want to be the one to promote it.

It seems the lawyer for Whyte is saying the fight might not go ahead but has not given more detail except outstanding issues need resolving. It all stemmed from Whyte wanting a bigger share of the fight purse distribution and looked at ways to increase his pay.

I've read the article you've said, thanks.

I don't know much about the complimentary tickets or some details behind the scene and their agreements, but what I'm so curious about is that why did Fury's team didn't disclose any details about the fight and the inside venue? It's a bit unfair I think that Whyte's entourage or family doesn't have any tickets at all to watch the fight.

That's also why Eddie Hearn have said that he's glad that he got no part about the fight and promotions. Seems a little bit messy behind the scenes.
I guess they are just making it a big deal because they have nothing else to throw at, so the tickets (small problems) is what they see now and I assume that Hearn who didn't get the bid on this fight is pulling those strings behind the scenes to get this upcoming fight somehow messed up and I bet he is also the one whispering on Whyte's ears that he have a right to have a bigger share in the purse.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 30, 2022, 05:20:05 PM
Tagoe may be a cherry picked fight on this one against Garcia but it's not because he is weak, it is because he can unveil Garcia's true limitations or whatsoever. We can't also forget that this match is for Garcia so that he will lift his name higher, so we can expect a very interesting and tight match.

Yup, you are right. This fight is intended for Garcia's successful return to the ring after a long layoff. I just don't know how prepared Garcia mentally in this fight. Last time I have read that Canelo, his friend took a swipe at him saying that he is now focused on a fight and the latter took it hard which might affect his preparation for this fight.

Let us wait for more betting options on this fight, ATM ML for Garcia is not a good bet.

Intended and supposed to lift Garcia's name again and make it fresh from his inactivity, but how about if the supposed goal is not achieved in Garcia's side? I'm just saying because an upset ain't also impossible in this fight but hopefully the kid is mentally alright to give a good fight.

Maybe there's some changes in the few days to come but for now, yes let's just wait.

Totally massacre i would say if things turns out to be fighting in MMA rule and i dont know on whats up on the mind of Jake Paul on trying out to beat or fight Conor on MMA which we know that on where he's good on.. Ego would really be putting you on danger but for the sake of money or revenue then it turns out that taking a suicide would really be worth.  Cheesy

Indeed! It would precisely be a massacre or execution if Jake Paul will really fight the Notorious Mcgregor in the octagon where he's the most dominant and the chances of Jake Paul surviving it is literally slim or 0%.

The kid is trying to prove the world that he can pursue and defeat stars in different industries despite his record in professional boxing but he cannot just defeat them that easily especially if he were going to fight them where he has no experience nor talent. Being greedy in money and fame will really put him at danger, it's not totally worth it even if the money is that big if his reputation and health is at risk.

Anyway, Demetrious Johnson next...  Let's see how he does at Muay Thai.  Lolol.

Edit:  He sleepin'.  Lmao.  Demetrious Johnson won via sub.
Yup, it didn't reach round 3 and won by sub as predicted.

DJ landed some good punches and knees but he somehow survived round 1 by clinching a lot. I don't think real Muay Thai fighters would have done that but kudos to DJ's camp because that was still a smart strategy.

Isn't the Rodrang guy a legit Muay Thai fighter?  I really have no idea but DJ had nothing on him in a pure striking battle at R1.  Rodrang was applying pressure most of the time.  But come the second round you could really see MMA's advantages vs pure strikers.  There's just more ways DJ can go to win the match.

But yeah overall it was a good event.  And a looong one.  Would be nice to have a UFC like that.

UAE Warriors live rn:  https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/87616-uae-warriors-29-africa

Pardon, it's Rodtang not Rodrang Grin but yes, Rodtang is a legitimate Muay Thai fighter while DJ is an MMA fighter. The rules wasn't unfair too as both of them could represent their each and own field of expertise but sadly in the 1st round it's all about Muay Thai and Rodtang has that advantage.

We can already see that at the start, Rodtang is calm and have given DJ a nice warm punch already while the latter is just almost pure defense trying survive the 1st round, barely. Until the 2nd round commenced and DJ had him until Rodtang ran out of air and win via submission.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Whyte on: March 29, 2022, 07:43:47 PM
I think this is another great fight and as always, I can never bet against Fury as he is the king of the heavyweight division.
The poll is not up yet, but you know what fighter I will vote to win.

So what we are going to see is this fight and a rematch of Joshua and Usyk.

Wilder seemed lost now.  Grin
Probably the fight will be very much entertaining as we are soon to witness a great fighter who is always defending his incredible unbeaten record that makes Fury the crowd's favorite bet. But not to mention Whyte as he is been doing great too in the boxing arena and to think that he admitted that he has dropped Fury on multiple occasions in a sparring session, well this fight will prove it all. And the rematch of Joshua and Usyk will add another highlight too on the said event.

Yeah, probably. So that means that it is still unsure that this would be an entertaining or interesting fight after all. Well, I'm not saying that Whyte is just too far from Fury's league but what we are seeing is sure win fight from Fury and the chances that he will be upset in this fight is almost less than slim and the poll shows that the fights future results. I'm not a Fury fan nor Whyte, I'm just saying what I am seeing.
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 29, 2022, 07:15:58 PM
Tagoe could experiment all he wants, he just has to make sure that he is doing it the right way because Garcia is not an easy opponent to crack, he's been down before, was able to stand up and continue the fight. Garcia is a much tougher opponent now with that experience, so it should be Tagoe who should be careful, he could go for a KO but make sure he always keeps his defense so he will survive longer.

Experimenting is not necessary as that would cost him more rounds before he can make up with a good counter-strategy. Why not just do his usual, focus on good points then slowly applied it every round. No room for doing such testing and experiments.

While he is doing that, Garcia might be the first to hit him up badly. Stay serious and focused and think of all the things he did during their practice and training.

Anyways, we honestly don't need to say what should they do as these boxers are experienced ones.

What we need to wait for is how they will execute their strategy on the day of the fight.
This is gonna be a big fight as long as Tagoe will focus more on his strengths and show what he has got to gain, and not to lose. Of course, Garcia won't let that happen easily knowing he's been a tough fighter and undefeated in all his previous fights. And to think that he's been a 15-time national amateur champion at he's young age, then he must be very hard to beat. But of course, Tagoe on the other hand is also one of the top boxers nationwide and fighting with Garcia has always been his dream. So we'll see who will bring it to the next speed level.

Let's see about it soon and what have they got, these two boxers really deserves to win but unfortunately, a draw in this match is almost impossible to happen. Tagoe here have much experience than the young aspiring Garcia but the latter also have some capabilities that even a veteran boxer don't have. We know it won't be an easy fight as these two won't be an easy opponent to each other. Anyways, the time is near and we will see it soon.

the days are really passing by so fast. i believe, we will see a toe-to-toe fight on this. tagoe knows that garcia is the favourite here and he's more popular than him. if he will take that as a challenge, we will do witness a very good fight inside the ring. it may seem to be a cherry pick for garcia but we should not disregard tagoe's boxing record. he may not be known to many, but somehow his record is one for the books also as 32-1-0 vs garcia as 21-0-0.

Indeed, I will also assume that we will going to see a tough toe-to-toe match next month on this fight and certainly, Tagoe will take this as a challenge just like what he said on the last press conference. I know he will go all out because Garcia is his ticket in the industry to be famous and get more professional fights that have a higher pay cut than he ever did before.

Tagoe may be a cherry picked fight on this one against Garcia but it's not because he is weak, it is because he can unveil Garcia's true limitations or whatsoever. We can't also forget that this match is for Garcia so that he will lift his name higher, so we can expect a very interesting and tight match.

1950  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 28, 2022, 06:51:15 PM
From my point of view, Stake's partnership with Drake is not intentional or he has been targeted. Maybe there's a point that Drake was vocal playing at Stake, the platform got his attention and from there the rest is history. Regardless of where it all started, there shouldn't be an issue.

Of course, getting new users on the site is continuous and never-ending progress. While adding good features, a partnership can be considered and that's what Stake is doing. Adesanya, Drake, etc. I'm sure there will be more personalities that will join the board while Stake is moving forward.

Establishing a partnership does mean that the Stake is getting bigger and stronger.
Or maybe it was Drake's plan after all to get the attention of Stake, I mean why would Drake suddenly posts his huge bet slips using stake as a platform on the last Super Bowl in Los Angeles and luckily he won. That surely catches the attention of Stake management and later on we received a news that they're in a partnership now. Whichever it is, yes it is a win-win situation and we will see more famous personalities joining the Stake family soon.
Stake is lucky because a famous icon such as drake is the one that want's their attention. Who would not want to post that kind of bet? You are proud that you win. I can win an amount that to me is huge already but I know that it was still small to the rest but I don't care, I still share that bet to the public.

It's a win situation for stake but not really for drake because even without stake, drake can still earn huge and I think the pay for drake by other brands are much higher compared to what stake offered but it was still a money. Drake only accepts it because he love the platform, this is where he play. The money that stake pays to him can be a good addition to his money when he bets again.

How can you verify that claim that Drake only accepted that offer because he is using the Stake as his main platform?
And how did you know that there are other leading casinos/brands that have offered him a much higher pay than the Stake?

I'm sorry but I disagree about that because we cannot really know for sure and if it's really true that Drake have been offered by other online casinos with a higher fee then I don't think there's a Drake x Stake partnership happened. It's a win-win situation for the both parties because they need each other that's why Stake have reached out and Drake have accepted their offer.

However, I agree that Drake can still earn a huge money with or without the Stake's partnership.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 28, 2022, 09:47:31 AM
A very bad night for the Nets. Off night for both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. It could've been a great home debut for Kyrie but most of his shots just won't sink in. This is one of the nights that even if you force it, nothing will go in. They played hard in the defensive end but if you cannot make an offense afterward then it's for nothing, it just exhausted them.
1/3 as the Warriors also lose against the Wizards.

Yeah, many have not saw it coming. Warriors have lost again 2nd time in a row, their defense it's not that outstanding anymore than they have before and then Curry isn't around. While the Nets have been unlucky against the Hornets where Ball dominated them. And here's also the Lakers who are inconsistent this season, many have thought that they got their beat back but when LeBron joined them again, they gotten back reliant again and NOP beats them.

Things on the NBA now has gotten very unpredictable as the regular season is approaching its end.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 27, 2022, 09:15:09 PM

What can you say about LA Tenorio's last play guys? Cheesy

He is known to be a buzzer-beater guy and truly aware of how much time is left. Downed by 3, 7 seconds remaining, no timeout, inbound from the other courtside, still, he really push for a 2-point play. It needs at least 4-5 seconds to bring down the ball and what if there's a defense, it will extend the time of handling.

The bottom line is you can't expect another ball possession that's why you have to go for the 3 points to seal the win. Cheesy

He wasted the opportunity to take the game 3 but of course its not his fault because they are team and many players are also off especially with Brownlee on missing his free throws. I can’t say they throw the game since they are Ginebra, may NLEX just really want to win the game and extend their hope for game 4.

We are not talking about the missing FTs of Brownlee, it was the last play that was supposed to be a 3 point play. LA seemed to be out of this world, or was it intentional to extend the series? Again, it might make people speculate that they are trying to rig the game, LA is a veteran, so he probably know the business.

I'm also curious why LA did not gave the ball to Brownlee for the last shot.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2022, 01:16:11 PM
^^ I think both has pressure to win their fights, so that this mega fight will happen eventually. So if either one of them losses, as you and the other posters have said, the hype will go down a bit.

So its very important to hurdle their fight first, GGG against Murata in Japan, and then Canelo against the reigning LHW champion on Bivol.

And I agree that Canelo will be the A-side in this fight, maybe 70-30 in favor of him.

As far as I can see, even Canelo and GGG will lose their upcoming fight, the impact and excitement is still there when they faced for a third time. It's a fight that everyone anticipated to happen for a long. To settle everything and it seems it's now likely happening, a third match is necessary to negotiate.

Just seems concerned to GGG here how he can deal with the prime Canelo if he will lose to Murata that is not even in his league.

About the split, 70-30 split is too much. Canelo is too overrated if that will be the final split.

If both of them will be defeated in their respective matches before the trilogy then the excitement and interesting factor will remain and the fight will surely be pursued. However, if GGG will be lost to Murata while Canelo have won his fight against Bivol then I think there's not much to expect for the trilogy as it would clearly state that the trilogy will be in Canelo's favor but if the opposite happened then it would certainly generate so much hype and a trilogy will so much interesting and maybe the split would be even.

It's possible but unlikely to happen, both GGG and Canelo are heavy favorites on their respective match, if there's an upset, it cannot be on both fights. So, for us to really see the fight, both of them have to win the fight for them to create some hype and ensure a huge amount of money in the trilogy.

Let that be the final fight just to give the fans on a long requested trilogy.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 27, 2022, 12:30:55 PM

Moving to back to this upcoming fight, Spence may showcase again his skills to climb up and call for Crawford for his next fight.
His fight with Porter was quite not so impressive because he only won via split decision.
If he would do the same in this fight, I'm afraid, we might see a surprise because both boxers are champion and Ugas are good using his range.

Another interesting fight after this, and another winner takes all and grabs all the belts in this division.
He does not need to call on Crawford because Crawford has been calling him already, Spence just agree to the fight and this big fight will be settled.

<=>although I'm not sure what is the initial handicap for this match.

The line was -17 for the Nuggets based on https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nuggets-vs-thunder-odds-line-2022-nba-picks-march-26-predictions-from-proven-computer-model/.. Therefore OKC covered the handicap, both the pre-game and the live betting.

Fckin Bucks destroy again m parlay for the 3rd time I include them on my parlay list.  Cheesy I'm just laughing to myself for continuing betting with them while I always ended up wasting my parlay multiple times just because my greediness always kicks in to add bucks to have a small boost on parlay. Anyways I still have some good single bet wins in Brooklyn and Nuggets this Sunday so I'm still in profit but I really feel regretful on my decision for a chance to have a huge profit this Sunday bets. Happy Sunday Win guys!

Sorry man, sometimes sh*t happens.

Bucks destroyed by Memphis, that was too much. I mean, I understand them to lose to Memphis, but not that big loss.
What happened to this team? They are now complete (except for holiday), but they can't win against a Morant less Memphis.

The series between Magnolia and Meralco now requires a deep analysis before placing a bet lol.

Exactly  Grin.

With Abueva, not 100 percent healthy and Bolts having found a way to stop/minimize the output of Harris, this could be a very close series with games won by a slight margin.

The controversy with that shot clock violation which the ref has not called has made the rounds in social media but I think even if the ref has called that one, still Magnolia will lose that game because they were down by 5 points with less than 24 seconds to go. FG percentage for the Hotshots was so low on that ball, the real reason why they lose that one, not that uncalled shot clock violation.

Again, the game is still very close. We are in game 2 now and the 1st half will be ended in less than 2 minutes.

I was looking at the smart live streaming but could not find the game, so for now I'm just looking at the official website.
https://pba.ph/playbyplay

Meralco has a chance to win this game, Paul only made 2 points so far and Harris had 8 points only.

@agustina2, not a good bet for the Warriors, after an impressive win on Heat, they lost to the Hawks.
Green only made 4 points, poor production from him.

After five months of the poll, nobody believes that Murata can beat Golovkin

GGG   - 26 (100%)
Murata   - 0 (0%)
Draw   - 0 (0%)
Total Voters: 26

Murata is a total underdog and everybody believes that at 40 Golovkin is still in the prime of his career which is true based on his last fight I'm sure Golovkin would love to come out in this fight in great fashion to impress Canelo and the boxing community that the GGG - Canelo fight still deserves the hype.

Wow, that's a 100% rate for GGG. Can't believe there's no one who at least believes he would win while some of the posters are thinking that Murata should not be underestimated in this fight as he is also a champ. So what would happen now? if GGG would lose then we all lose our bets as well?
