2901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 17, 2018, 09:29:04 AM

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?
Well, i guess its not that wrong or right ? It is just a matter of time if you just think maybe the market is just low for now but will recover eventually because of volatility. You're thinking that you are late because the prices are too high for you but who knows what would it be on the next months? next year? im pointing here that there is no perfect time for investment, patience is the key for all.

2903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We Need A New ICO Model on: November 16, 2018, 10:46:31 AM
For ICO investments to be more competitive and profitable, we need a new ICO model. This present ICO model is not progressive in nature and it gives room to all forms of manipulation from project owners. We need a model that gives investors rights in decision making of a project, we need a system that will made project team to be accountable. With a new ICO model, investors right will be protected and even secondary buyers will be excited to buy the coin or token on exchange once they know that the project will not be a fly by night project or a slow dying projects.

What do you guys think about this?
Hell yeah, we really need a model that seeks the real need of a product with the use of cryptocurrencies, but when? I guess this would happen if people (investor, trader and holder) is not greedy anymore, why? Guess what scam ICO's are made of, simply the greediness lies on them, there will be no victims of scam ICO if we are just responsible enough and observant at the first place.
2904  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trading Exchanges for newbiee on: November 15, 2018, 01:41:20 PM
New traders should only trade at 2 exchanges. that is IDEX and Binance. We do not need to talk too much about Binance because it is really the best platform and has the highest level of security. IDEX is a decentralized trading platform but there will be a lot of volatility on a daily basis. New traders should trade there and understand more about pumping and dumping. That is the most important thing to be a good trader.
Binance is great exchange for cryptocurrencies since it is Rank one among the exchanges that holds a lot of market cap but for me as for beginners i recommend Bancor network due to its smooth transactioning, aside it does not use third party exchange for financing. Bancor is more easy when you are using metamask as your bridge to your wallet.
2905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - the future "stable coin" on: November 14, 2018, 10:50:48 AM
In the past two months, bitcoin's fluctuation very small except for 10/15 accident of USDT, which caused a sudden & incredible price increase of bitcoin/eth, at the same time, many investors dumped their USDT & bought bitcoin instead - hence in fact, bitcoin took the responsibility of acting as a stablecoin, which is very interesting.

Why did they change to pursue bitcoin in such a panic situation? Which kind of true value bitcoin can bring to them? Will bitcoin turn into a real stablecoin in the future? Is it possible for bitcoin to be a popular tool in the payment industry? .....

PS:

1) I am not talking about NOW, it is for long-term consideration (maybe 10-20 years). In this period, bitcoin still keep going up & getting very valuable;
2) My assumption based on the mass adoption of bitcoin in global payment sector, together with the development of blockchain & bitcoin itself;
3) "Stable coin" does not mean bitcoin's price is fixed or pegged with fiat currency, it is more like an independent currency beyond any national digital currency which will be the main stream in next 10 years because it is evitable that big economy will issue their own digital currency in the coming future.
It's not that really stable in fact the price is still volatile but not like over the past few months. Bitcoin is not stable at all it just so happen that investor and trader are just sitting around waiting for a perfect time when to trade bitcoins. I also think it is because of altcoins that is really playing in the market like Ripple and EOS, their prices are significantly growing as time passes by.
2906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an example of true democracy ? on: November 13, 2018, 02:01:57 PM
Bitcoin is created mainly for ordinary people to make transactions without third parties and that payments would be anonymous ! Bitcoin frees humanity from the control of your personal money from the global States. It shows the true face of world democracy and frees us from dictators who think they are kings !
Do you agree ? Share your opinion friends.
Everything peace !
Bitcoin really is a democratic currency since we trader, user, holder and investor are the ones who's responsible to its price. The decentralization of bitcoin made the people centralized and so the government are sort of against with it. But since we are being governed by different sectors bitcoin just a means of payment and no one can really say its universal currency.
2907  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga Tips Ni Crypto Jhin Para Makakuha Nang Merits ;D on: November 13, 2018, 11:34:28 AM
Magandang Araw Sa Inyong Lahat !

Smiley Kaya Good Luck sa inyo at Happy Hunting!

Sa tingin ko kailangan isa ding factor ang level of knowledge na ilalagay mo or ipopost mo, kung target audience mo is newbie then the terms should be easy to catch up and kung mga matatagal na dito sa forum ay dapat yung mga napapanahon or bago about sa crypto.
2908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: November 12, 2018, 11:39:10 AM
Hey everybody I want to share my trading experience with these guys: https://discord.gg/2cjRufh. I've been using their free crypto calls for a few months, and I made a small profits 1-3% almost every other day. Also the community is very helpful and I learned a lot new information and ways to cope with emotional trading.
I will suggest you first start with small trades until you become more knowledgeable and calm.
1-3% is really a huge number in the current market situation. You know, you can not earn 1-3% a day and maintain it for a month. Because our market is not good now and we can not determine its trend. I advise you to look more closely before starting the day trading. It is a very stressful job.
Yeah really it is, having 1-3% gain on your first day is not guaranteeing you to receive it in a daily basis. Not being knowledgeable about the cryptocurrency and cryptomarket will save you from losing money, no one has the ability to just win here, everyone loss and everyone will. Day trading contains a lot of risks especially with those who are not full time.
2909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Woman Arrested for $450,000 Crypto Heist on: November 12, 2018, 10:23:28 AM
A 23-year-old woman was arrested by the police over the theft of $450,000 in ripple, the cryptocurrency. This incident took place in New South Wales, Australia.

The victim reached out to the investigators saying that his account had been hacked the month before. He said that his account was inaccessible for a couple of days back in January.

When the man checked his account after re-gaining access, he found that his cryptocurrency account was also compromised, leaving almost zero balance in the account.

http://coindelite.com
That is freaking huge amount of money and no way im gonna forget how to access my wallet because of that. It is really impossible for a person to inaccess with that kind of wallet after having a lot of money stored in there unless you are such a wealthy person that $450,000 is just a spare coins for you but that is not the case. Each and every holder must be responsible in order to keep his asset intact.
2911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BountyHive: One Of The Best Bounty Platform on: November 11, 2018, 07:17:25 AM
Here alot of bounty plateforms but in all of them bountyhive is more reputed and well knowing and also very trusting here different media medium which you can join and earn reward on different tier as per account status.

That's right, Of the many bounty platforms, the more famous is bountyhive. But it cannot be said that bountyhive is the best. Because I think there are still many of the best but bountyhive platforms. And like you said that bountyhive doesn't use sheet so it's not convenient for me.
Totally agree with this, bountyhive is really a helpful when it comes to finding ICO and campaigns. But its really on the ICO if they are going to scam you, they will its not the platform's fault if that would not pay you back. Aside most of the ICO are not transparent with their informations, they can show fake information on this kind of platform and will deliver to us.
2912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning day trading on: November 09, 2018, 11:47:03 AM
How are people learning how to day trade? What are you methods?

Personally I've done the signal groups etc but found them very hit and miss. I'm not good enough to do my own TA (and can TA really help for day trading - no idea?).

Only method I've found that I find works was taught here: https://discord.gg/nCmjwmQ

It focuses on getting in and out of v.high volume coins as they naturally fluctuate.

Cheers!

You just learn it for yourself. I don't recommend day trading though. It is still good to trade in swings and would try to wait it out and also get out when things doesn't go on your way.
Yes totally agree since not every method are applicable to all type of people in here and we do have different level of lucks because we are self-reliant. The best way to figure out how to day trade is to experience and make some try to it surely that will give you an idea of the market when it comes to day trading but beware of its risk level which is too high since the market is too volatile
2913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? on: November 09, 2018, 10:40:54 AM
More and more blockchain games choose EOS instead of ETH (and I believe it's the same with ICOs)

Hey crypto gamers! What do you prefer more?

example:
https://gameunculus.io/blog/94
I totally don't think EOS would replace ETH on decentralizing apps or DAPPS. Since they are both do have a similar function, just so happen that EOS is newly introduce by Dan creator of Steem. Many company are adopting the use of EOS mainly because of website services it can offer like online or cloud storage. For me there is no competition at all, just a comparison between the two but i would still choose ETH because of its marketcap.
2914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best cryptocurrency to invest in 2018 on: November 07, 2018, 12:50:38 PM
For longterm investment i would choose
1. Bitcoin
2. Ethereum
3. EOS
4. XLM
5. XRP
6. Cardano
7. Tron
and i will buy more since they still cheap for now and i hope my choice is not wrong and hope soon we will see bullish at market

As for me XRP has the greatest potential aside from bitcoin and ethereum which on many cases already proved a lot. XRP moves very high these past few months specifically the quarter 3 of the yeara nd gave a slight hype of its market. I guess holding XRP would be beneficial since it is currently overtaking the market cap of ethereum.
2915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It can be useful on: November 07, 2018, 11:07:50 AM
There are a lot of different technical analysis, and all of them does not fully accurate, so do not forget to use stop loss on the every trade. Moving average is one of the popular indicator that very easy to understand it, for beginner trader this indicator is recommended to use to analysis support and resistance.
Yes, i supposed, We trader do have different type of strategy that we are using and different understanding about the market. I don't really understand the candle pattern even i study about it since the market is volatile there is also the uncertainty of that strategy that is why i don't trust it. I don't stick with just one strategy, i always change plan depends on the market situation.
2916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should governments accept Crypto currencies? on: November 06, 2018, 12:19:04 PM
We are led to believe that almost all governments are corrupt and that most officials and even leaders of the world are bought.

We saw this for instance with the US elections where rumours are doing the rounds that massive amounts of money were channelled from foreign countries to influence the outcome of the election. This money had to be laundered through shell companies via Banks and complex money laundering systems.

All of this leaves paper trails and this can later be followed and investigated to find the true origin of this money.

Now think about this, why would "corrupt" governments want to appose Bitcoin and Crypto currencies, if they can use it to hide their "corrupt" practices? Would it not make sense just to allow it and then use it to further their political aspirations?

The push back from these corrupt governments does not make any sense. Could it be that they know that Bitcoin and Crypto currencies are not "anonymous" at all and that these transactions can be traced and for this reason they are apposed to it?

Curious to know what you are thinking.  Wink
I guess the government should start accepting cryptocurrency especially bitcoin since it is standing 9 years in the internet and reliable means of payment. What stopping the government to accept cryptocurrency is the currency financing system we had that they built over years and fiat currency can't be just disappear in a click. It is not because of corruption, it is because we can't withstand our life without fiat.
2917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Projects on: November 06, 2018, 09:04:38 AM
Do you think New coins or New Project is still worth ? You know everyday there is a lot of Coins are trying to enter market , and also many projects with different functions. And some of them are scam. Dont Be harsh guys, just my obesrvation. Smiley What do you think ?
Well i guess there would be still a new and a good project in the future, don't be too negative about the scams these past few months. For you not to scam or find a great project always look for its team because they are the core of the project, the papers and the financing. 2018 is not a good year for ICOs since we almost lost a 30% of investors this year.
2918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: November 05, 2018, 03:01:26 PM
We are in the final quarter of the year
Everyone should be at alert now, lots of projects will suddenly collapse, pump and dump, with plans to collect people's btc and ethereum and cash out money for the end of the year
Then they will run away and get away with funds.....

A word is enough for the wise
As for tokens that is being dumped there has been a drought on cryptomarket these days  and i guess that is because of greediness. We lost so much investors this year due to scam and fake ICOs and resulted to market crash.  Alts will going to take time before recovering and this year wouldn't be enough for that, nonetheless keep holding no one knows when will be the pump happens.
2919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn trading? on: November 05, 2018, 03:19:49 AM
I want to learn how to trade. If you want, then please give me some advices, tips etc. Links to all kinds of helpful information is also very good. Please don't write empty filler comments.

EDIT: I want to day trade and swing trade. I know about cryptocurrency, so I don't need information about that. I prefer not to tell my capital investment. I am already trading and almost all my investment is in bitcoin cash right now. I am basically looking for guidance on how to trade. I am not a complete beginner, but still very new in trading.
There is a lot of learning medium such as online and offline. Examples of offline platform are books ( rare to find), person to person and written news or illustrated charts. Online medium such as Google and youtube are great platform on learning all types of trading( long term and day trade). I suggests online trading is more reliable and accurate as of this time.
