1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your favorite gambling game? on: May 05, 2020, 07:35:24 PM
My two votes get into choosing Lottery and Bingo. What makes me choose those two? Well, I have already been playing Dice games, card games, slots and other gambling games for quite some time and I have already do lots of experiences on playing such games in my entire gambling journey. Since, the OP is seeking for the opinion for the development of their new gambling platform, I choose two gambling games which I have not commonly played on gambling so I can be able to try out something new since the purpose of mine on playing gambling is to mainly for entertainment purpose, I would love to see and try what entertainment it would give me on playing Bingo and test my luck if I can be able to bag on winning with Lottery. Gambling games seems to be fun and exciting most specially if you tend to try out something new but with the assurance that you will play it with prior knowledge about the game you wish to play with.
1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: May 05, 2020, 08:36:34 AM
- Eat or Drink
When you gamble, you are not strongly advised to eat or drink because you will most likely not finish the food or drink, you will most likely throw away your food or drink when you lose money at the gambling table...

- Smoking marijuana, Getting drunk or under the influence of drugs
You certainly will not be aware of what decisions you make if you are drunk, if you are drunk while gambling, it is certain that your money will be lost...

- Teasing other people's wives
come on, you go to the casino, is it to tempt someone else's wife, if this is your goal then you must be very prepared to kill by that woman's husband...

- Borrow someone else's vehicle
some criminal cases occur because someone pawns another person's vehicle for gambling. don't try to do this, you will only go to jail...

- Carrying firearms or sharp weapons
come on man, do you want to kill someone, or do you want to frighten the bookie...

- last, Playing at one table with Corona patients fleeing Quarantine
You should not do this, mate. this is of no use, even if you win, you will only bring the coronavirus and spread it to people around even your family...  Cheesy

*don't take this too seriously  Grin

I think those were all obvious manner and people would easily think of it like a common sense and can be considered as an etiquette on playing into any casinos. But at this point of time, what I know is that casino operations are temporarily closed due to the implementing lockdown so there is nothing to worry about causing some trouble. But I get your point that those were literally the things you must not do on playing into casinos because you do also have to observe proper manner since you were not the only one playing in a casino. I bet bringing or smoking marijuana and playing under the influence of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited for the reason that casino operations are still under the government control for they are releasing permits before a casino can operate. If you were a person who wants to play into a casino, then at least have common sense not to do nasty actions that will cause trouble or you may at least better know the rules and regulations of the casino to better know what you must do and the ones you must not do.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Many cryptocurrencies — how important is that for you in casinos? on: May 05, 2020, 07:50:11 AM
Hi guys!

Still playing with bitcoins? Or have you switched to TRON or Ripple?
Anyway, every crypto has its own benefits but how important is it for you to have a variety of different cryptos to play in casinos?

I have tried playing using Bitcoin on an online gambling sitr before and I admit that I have loss a great amount because we all do know how valuable a single digit of Bitcoin was even if it just .01 BTC it is already a big amount to have due to the price changes happening brought by fluctuations. It become important for me to have variety of cryptocurrencies with me if ever I decide to play on an online gambling site so that I have lots of coins to choose from to avoid falling down into using my Bitcoin because I treat it as my last resort if ever I ran out of crypto to use while playing. So far, I have not been into such situation in which I have consumed my cryptos and have left with no choice to use Bitcoin. That is why I always ensure I have plenty of cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin whenever I play for I know that Bitcoin is really a valuable one that must be reserved so I better use other cryptocurrencies on playing into online casinos. But I assure that those that I use were not those that are pretty much expensive because I just play to entertain not to spend out lots of money with it.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Online Gambling Charity Fundraiser for Covid-19 Donation on: May 05, 2020, 07:06:30 AM
It is great to see that even gamblers do play a part in serving and helping our front liners at this current situation we are in to. This just shows that playing gambling have something good to do also most specially at times like this that financial support to buy medical equipments is in need for our dear front liners that are risking their lives to serve and protect people from the effect of this pandemic and that is to prevent, lessen or to stop the spread of the virus. Having an event like this which is fund raising through online gambling will serve as a big help for we all know that rich people do mostly play gambling and the money they use on playing at online gambling casinos that is intended for the sake of their entertainment will serve as a help for the people serving our nation at this time. Having this event will be hitting two birds with one stone and both parties will be beneficial in a sense that gamblers are being able to pursue their gambling experience and on the other hand people who are called front liners will be benefited by this act for the funds that will be raised will be intended to be donated for their sake.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: May 04, 2020, 06:57:35 PM
It his own choice and will if ever he will already stop playing gambling after winning such big rewards with just out of his boredom. He was really that lucky enough to win great rewards from two games that reach £400,000. Well, maybe it his gut feel that since he have already won such large amount with two tries, it will be good to seize the moment to already stop gambling for he might think that the moment he won is his luckiest time and he do not want to loose all his winnings for another one because the win is purely due to luck. It seems that he have already thought that if he will continue testing his luck if he continue gambling, instead of experiencing wins, he might get into the other way which he have already prevented to happen while he can still manage to quit. With the amount he have gained, he can already start his own business in which way he might make his money grow rather than playing gambling again. Let us just see if he would play gambling once again because there are cases that once a people experience win on gambling, he will surely give another shot to test his luck of winning again.
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of the two will you choose as a gambler? on: May 02, 2020, 10:01:06 PM
Account security and anonymity have major importance in crypto gambling industry. I will explain two authentication processes and their pros/cons that an under-development project is considering. Through this thread I want to take views/suggestions of the community on the better of the two processes. Here are the candidates:

Option 1: Email Based Authentication

Under this option, you will be asked by casino to fill username, password and email id on registration. To increase the security, you will be asked to set-up 2FA authentication. To make withdrawal, you have to confirm email id.

Pros:
Easy to use and remember system.
Easy to retrieve system if password gets compromised.

Cons:
Easy to hack and brute-force.
Identity may be linked if same email is used somewhere else on web.
Always need additional device (phone) to login (for 2FA code).

Option 2: Keys Based Authentication

Under this option, you will be asked to fill username and password on registration. Then a private code (long alphanumeric) will be generated for you and encoded with the help of password you entered in first step. Now you have to store private code somewhere safe. There onward, you have to paste private code and password to login into system.

Pros:
Complete anonymity
Highest degree of security. No one can hack or brute force your account even if database is compromised.

Cons:
Extra care needed to maintain the security of private code.
Since code is not saved anywhere on server side, losing code = losing account.
One mistake and your account is gone.
Impossible to change code. If you give away code to someone over phishing page, etc, then you cannot retrieve/secure the account again.

That's all. Which of the two systems would you prefer as a crypto gambler. Suggestions/views are welcome.

I used to play gambling and register an account using email based authentication for I believe that I am the only one to have an access on it since it is my account and I do always use 2FA authentication to accompany this email authentication. But it is indeed right that using a single email can track all accounts linked including social media accounts once hacker have successfully get into intruding your email. I do also know key based authentication and for me there are lots of things to do with it since it is a key based and it seems to provide hassle for me although security is much better compared to email based authentication. I think both are best to use and it is just a matter of when and where you would such method to secure your account. But still I do preferably use email authentication for it has no hassle accessing unlike key based. The problem on tracking by using a single email won't be a problem as long as you create an email that is not linked on your social media accounts and just created for playing only. Just be sure to check the privacy and security of the site so that you can avoid your email being hacked.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 02, 2020, 09:27:28 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B0kjCboHVA

In this interview of Anderson Cooper to Las Vegas' mayor Carolyn Goodman, the head of the city insists that the Vegas should re-open the casinos and restaurants for the welfare of its people. Especially those depending on the said establishments in order to get some money to feed their family. While the reasoning for the city's reopening is with good intention, the reasoning isn't sound and clearly done due to the urge of emotion. Anderson even went so far to ask the mayor if she would be willing to stay every night on casinos wherein the workers and the gamblers would be staying just to prove that she is 'with them' in their plight against coronavirus.

If the persistence of the mayor proved to be worthwhile and the city reopens, would you, as a gambler, be willing to get inside one of the many casinos and play there?

Practically speaking, I would not play into any casinos in Las Vegas even if the re-opening of casinos would happen because as a player, I should also be community wise that we are still into a pandemic on which mass gathering must be prohibited and we must just stay indoors to lessen or to stop the spread of the virus. Playing on a casino these days will not be a good idea because of the situation we do have right now. Although I get the point that he is just concern with the welfare of his people, but still it will not be a good thing to do because their lives will be at risk for working on a place where many people will surely go and play. Better do support them temporarily just what like our government is doing here in our country so that even people do not have jobs because of this pandemic, still they can be able to sustain their needs to survive this crisis.
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy some alt? on: May 01, 2020, 08:32:52 AM
We are closing to the bitcoin halving event and the orice has already startes to act to the event as expected. We may now see a significant increase in BTC price as well. Is it a good time to invest some money on some altcoins, obviously on the top altcoins only.

Actually that will be the safest thing to do which is to invest into the top Altcoins only or mostly because it is a way to avoid getting caught or victimized by scam Altcoins that are just around or surrounding the market. Well, it is good to explore other Altcoins as well for some new existing Altcoins do also have potential. The challenge is that you need to seek hard and work hard on researching to find those kind of Altcoins if you really do want to explore other Altcoins present in the market. At this point of time that halving is too near to come and happen since it is now already the month of May, it will be good to start investing into both Bitcoin and Altcoins for in the history halving provides great progression after this event.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of lying project team on: May 01, 2020, 06:10:37 AM
I've seen few projects that decieved investors into thinking that they will list on binance or okex and Kucoin without these exchanges confirmation, my advice is once a project claim they are going top exchange do not hesitate to go to the top exchange social media, if the listing is legit the exchange will atleast say something about it. Wise up

We must really be wise before believing on such claims from projects because it is obviously some of their tactics or strategies to caught the attention and interest of the potential investors and bounty hunters to get into their project. Do not be easily deceive on those words. Better to see it right after the project promotion because proof will speak for itself and then that will be the time you must believe on its authenticity. Claims are just plain words to attract people. It is still the best to see it right before your eyes that they are already listed on a top exchange before you believe on such claims. If project developers are getting wise on announcing that their token will be listed on a top exchange, then be a wiser individual not to easily believe on such claims until such it was already proven true.
1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: May 01, 2020, 05:19:05 AM
As a bounty hunter always expect failures sometimes

I agree. Actually not just for bounty hunters but as well for traders and investors because failures are always present on the paths we take. Failures are sometimes good to be experience so that on the next trials we take up, we already know how to adapt on the situation to better execute what must be the action to do to avoid or somehow prevent failure to come in the way. Whenever we face circumstances, we must learn how to bounce back and never give up because easily giving up is already cutting or ending your chance to recover once again and to strive hard to get your journey into success. Always seek for the positive side despite of the negative situation so that you will still have hope in your hands for you to be able not to give up.
1951  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the weirdest thing you have seen for sale for Bitcoin? on: May 01, 2020, 03:11:19 AM
I think the weirdest thing that I have seen that is done for the sake of buying or obtaining Bitcoin is selling a house or a property because he thought that it will be worthy to stake his house for the sake of Bitcoin for he believe he can easily buy another house or property from what he can earn from Bitcoin. For me that is weird because staking or risking your basic need like house for Bitcoin seems to be ridiculous although there can be potential to be gained from Bitcoin, but while waiting, where do you supposed to place yourself? Bitcoin is volatile in value so we can never tell when the profit will come and if it will be enough to sustain your daily needs. Better do sacrifice selling only those that you can afford like an investment so that if you loose, then you have just small thing to regret with.
1952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: May 01, 2020, 01:57:52 AM
Hi all,

I recently started working on an educational game that informs the player about some of the important concepts about bitcoin and am looking for some feedback.

The target player is not an engineer or an economist, but a person on the street that still believes fiat is good and that we are fine with money controlled by the state.

The game is designed as a series of conversations between two people, one asks questions and the other responds. The responses almost always include a mini game where the player solves a simple task to understand the concept.

For example, the first game is a simple "scratch the screen" game to reveal the bitcoin emission schedule.

Here's a list topics for which I am currently developing mini games:

  • Inflation hedge. Digital Gold.
  • How to pay using Bitcoin. No need for Credit Cards or banks.
  • How payments work - mining intro.
  • Double spending is almost impossible.
  • Censorship resistance.
  • Fleeing a war zone with bitcoin.
  • Keeping it safe. Secret sharing.
  • Purity of bitcoin vis a vis gold purity tests.
  • Address the fear of losing coins.
  • Anonymity and privacy.
  • No banks or state or single miner or developer regulates Bitcoin. Essentially, "no one" regulates Bitcoin.

Would love to get any input on the list if topics. Is there something I am missing as the first introduction to someone new to bitcoin? Is there something I should take out?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

That is very interesting and so good to hear that an educational game that embodies the learning about Bitcoin is being developed. That will really be a great game to play with specially for those who wanted to know more about Bitcoin because it sound like a simulated conversation, it will looks like Sims City because of the conversation. It is so nice that you put a twist of games in between the conversation so that players won't be bored of plain information since it is intended to educate people. Looking forward once that game of yours have been fully developed because it will be a great way to promote Bitcoin.
1953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pet shop want to become a bitcoin exchange? on: May 01, 2020, 01:18:17 AM
I’ve got a pet shop and I wanted to accept bitcoin and alt coins then I was reading about becoming a bitcoin exchange ... is this possible? I understand it’s worth goes up and down.

That will be a good idea to associate accepting cryptocurrencies in your own pet shop as a term of payment. That will help promoting the usage of cryptocurrencies and let other people know that such type of currency do exist because even if cryptocurrencies are already well-known, still a lot of people do not even know about cryptocurrency and do not know anything about it or how they will going to use such currency. It is just that people in your place must first learn to start adapting the usage of cryptocurrencies so that your plan to associate using cryptocurrency for your pet shop will work because if people do not even know or adapt on using crypto, then it will be nonsense to be implemented.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: April 30, 2020, 11:02:55 PM
Playing blockchain games is such an interesting thing to do because the ordinary video games is made extraordinary in a sense that you can earn while you were playing the typical games you do love to play. It is just like hitting two birds with one stone because you can enjoyably play the games you love which will totally entertain you and at the same point of time, you are giving yourself a chance to earn crypto while playing. It is like playing gambling games which you will also pay to play like a bet for the game. What's the difference is that on blockchain games, the typical MMORPG can have their own token released that is based on blockchain technology that you can attain while playing the game. Such a fun thing to do specially at times like this wherein we tend to stay at home because of the pandemic.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: April 30, 2020, 10:31:03 PM
No where in the world is currently safe from Cov-19 and there is lockdown in every country today, this is the best time to gain people's trust, online job seeking have increased through Google search and new people are getting into crypto investment, what is the best time to release your project if it's not now?

At times like this wherein most people tend to sit in front of their personal computer or smart phones because of the existing pandemic, people do tend to seek for online jobs that is payable to earn some income so that precious time won't be wasted. Releasing a project would be easy as long as you have the full concrete idea, concept and objective to serve as the main foundation of the project. People will easily see those projects because they do have more time to seek for new projects but remember, projects are not just intended to pay the participants for doing a job but also it is intended to attract potential investors to fund the project. It is a give and take situation and not just a one way manner. At times like this, investors will be rare to find because many are reserving their funds for more important matter which includes sustaining their necessities to survive this pandemic. I doubt that this will be a good time for release of new projects for no potential investors will fund the project because of the pandemic. If there will be, it will only be few and cannot fully sustain the need of the project.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Before Experience On Gambling...!!!! Stay Safe. on: April 30, 2020, 02:53:26 PM
As everyday, ending the day with sleep is the routine of everyone. Same as that I went to sleep with my girl, she was sleeping next to me placing her hands over me. In between I woke at the midnight, and I wasn't able to sleep till 1:00 AM. I started to gamble on mobile, my girl has placed her hands over me. Within a minute she suddenly woke and started to cry what happened to you. Your body sense different, and kept questioning, are you feeling Ok. Please feel free to say if you're feeling uneasy of anything. I understood it is due to the gambling, consoled her promising that I won't gamble for now. She advised me, when we're in sleep and an immediate increase in the heart pumping has got highest chance of cardiac arrest. Finally it has got to be one of the memorable days of my gambling.

Lets stay safe while gambling, though it is fun and excitement source there is lots of pressure being experienced by each and every gambler as we risk our earnings for a bigger amount.

I did not encounter or experience such thing like that on my gambling journey because I just frequently play whenever I have time and proper moderation. Also, to be able to avoid such complications, it is just a matter of time management on which you should play or not. Be mindful of yourself and your surroundings as well if playing gambling have negative effects on you or not. Playing gambling is really not that bad as long as you know how to control yourself by knowing your limitations on playing. Losing a big amount of money is really a risk associated on playing gambling but still this can be manageable by budgeting your money and having self-discipline to be able to loose just the amount you can afford and not more than that.
1957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayor Of Las Vegas wants the whole city open, including casinos and stadiums on: April 30, 2020, 02:09:51 PM
It seems the mayor of Las Vegas only wants profit and do not understand the pandemic, in a recent interview with Cnn anchor Anderson Copper she wants the business open including casinos, hotels, and stadium. what do you think about this

She even accused Anderson Copper of being an alarmist, so pathetic

Check out the interview

https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=216500932976803

It was a clear irresponsibility from a politician or public servant to open up the whole city of Las Vegas which includes the casinos and stadiums that will promote mass gathering which is supposedly be prohibited because of the acting pandemic that is still on nowadays. It is clearly not a good decision making for the sake of money and profit to risk the lives of your people. Many people are affected of this pandemic and many do not have work because of lockdown and quarantine because it stands for a purpose to prevent the spread of the virus to lessen or narrow down the number of infected. This must be implemented by public officials and not be neglected just for the sake of money. Always care for the safety of your people and constituents because it is a job associated for being a mayor.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Takes Place Amidst Pandemic on: April 30, 2020, 09:57:33 AM
So boxing promoters from Nicaragua still proceed with their boxing match despite the pandemic, they have taken all the precautions
Fighters are sprayed with disinfectant, ring girls don face masks and socially-distanced fans.

The promoters dismissed the coronavirus  and insist that boxers need to eat and feed his family

They have held this event because the number of infected is not very high in their country.

What do you think about this, do you think that some sporting events have a good chance of resuming?

Check the article to know more

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-8258251/Coronavirus-Boxing-event-takes-place-Nicaragua-promotor-insists-boxers-need-eat.html

Well actually it is their own choice and maybe before they have continue to held the boxing event is that they get the permission from their own government. But, at times like this that we are having the pandemic, we must not set aside even the small count of infected people can still do harm since it is a virus that can be spread if mass gathering will be held. But since they are doing precautionary measures for that event, then it will be fine as long as they can assure that they will not be the one to cause for the virus to spread even more in their place. They must take full responsibility of their actions because clearly, live sports event at different countries have been cancelled or postponed to prevent the spread of virus. Nicaragua must do the same thing also so that the small counts of their infected citizens will not grow into massive numbers.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 500$ - 30,000$ Gambling Challenge on: April 30, 2020, 08:48:47 AM
It is interesting that the OP have something to be busy about rather than thinking negatively the odds or this situation we have right now with the pandemic Coronavirus. It will be interesting to see once the OP have fully accomplished the challenge of $500 to $30,000 duly by gambling. I think it will take quite sometime depending on his luck and the way he strategize his management on doing bets. I am looking forward to see how many days will it take him to finish his own challenge and the journey he would take to get along on finishing the challenge. Well, it is a good time waster specially for those who are already bored at home to try your luck on gambling and see if you were lucky enough to make money until the end of this pandemic.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Check list before depositing in any crypto casino. on: April 30, 2020, 08:08:47 AM
Now a days I am seeing more and more crypto casino scams. I realized that it will be good to post a check list for newbies in order to prevent it before hand.

1.     Check if there is any unresolved scam accusations against them in the
        forum.

2.      Do not trust brand new casinos offering 100 or 200% depositing bonus.

3.      Stay away from casinos who requires KYC documents.

4.      Do not use same password for signing up with casino which you are
          using for this forum.

5.       Always enable 2 factor authentication.

6.       Always double check the deposit bonus terms (if opting for any).

7.       Read their terms and conditions thoroughly.

8.       Never Deposit too much money at once or leave your big winnings
          there for long time.

9.        If still you get scammed, do not panic, do not think its end of the
world, gather all the related information you have and open scam
accusation against them in the forum.

You got the good points that every gambler must check before playing gambling most specially into an online casino to avoid being scammed or experience great loses in the near future. Prevention is really better than cure. We must check every details of the online gambling site or casino we wish to get engage with so that we know every details that we must know to identify and have the assurance that you are playing on a safe and secured site just to secure your safety as well. Avoid putting too much money on an online site because the safety of your money will be secured on your hands. Better do withdraw all your winnings so that you can secure that there will be no chance that you will loose it. Generally, check the legality or the authenticity of the site before deciding to dive in.
