A month ago someone contacted me for escrow on Telegram; it turned out the "seller" was just stringing the buyer along. Once I received funds from the buyer, the seller accused the buyer of being a scammer and encouraged me to keep the buyer's funds to punish him for his scamming activities. The accusation had no merit, the "seller" merely provided a link to the buyer's post on this forum asking for AWS or SES accounts.
Around the same time brayktcristal PM'd me here with an accusation against another user, but the accusations were very much the same. Merely a link to a post where the other user was requesting to trade Amazon accounts. I don't have any proof that the Telegram user was brayktcristal, but the similar style of the two made me suspect they are the same person.
I suspect that brayktcristal was scammed during Amazon account trade, and has taken it upon himself to instill vigilante justice against anyone who buys or sells these accounts. I believe it's true that there are many scammers involved in these activities, but not all of them.
I agree with LoyceV; if brayktcristal ever finds his way to DT, I would feel compelled to exclude him.

Trump won the moment Sanders decided to step down. It is not like Sanders had any chance against him but it was far greater than what Biden had.
Sanders had a very well marketed campaign, but his popularity wasn't main-stream at all. Most Americans don't want a socialist president, and even if they got one, his powers would be limited. Any socialist policies he would try to impose would have to be approved by Congress and the Senate. In Sanders' case he would have no support from Republicans (of course) and very little from Democrats. A Sanders administration would be mired with decent from both houses, and be rendered largely ineffective. Assuming he could have beat Trump, anyway, which I highly doubt. In any case, what would be Trumps odds versus only Joe Biden? Who would the odds favor after the debates and campaigns?
The polls seem to favor Biden, but polls are wrong more often than not. In reality polls are a joke, often posing questions designed to illicit the response the pollsters want. I really believe that Biden doesn't have a chance against Trump. I think the Democrats are starting to see it as well. I doubt they'll give the nomination to anyone else, but I think they are desperate to find a strong running mate for him. I wouldn't be surprised if they are negotiating with Cuomo, who seems to be the Democrats' Darling Du Jour. |

Bitcoin propagation takes seconds. Nodes around the network should be able to see that you've made this transaction quickly.
Confirmations, on the other hand is different. By verifying, coinbase is talking about confirmations. With 2 satoshis per byte, it would take forever for it to be confirmed given current network conditions.
When you say forever?  Can I somehow cancel my transaction then? The only way to "cancel" a transaction is to double spend, for example create a new transaction using the same the inputs, and setting it to a higher fee. Electrum doesn't provide that option through it's gui. I imagine there's a way to double spend using the console, but I do not know those commands. As said above, there you can increase the fee for your current transaction, which will actually create a new transaction with higher fees. The transaction with the higher fee has a better chance of being included in the next block, and therefore being confirmed sooner. If you are not in hurry, and you can wait for your transaction to be confirmed. The worst case scenario is it will be rejected by mempool, and eventually be cancelled. Odds are it won't take more than a couple of days to be confirmed. |

I look at it the scoreboard of sexual misconduct allegations: Trump 25 Biden 1 "Oh but Trumps were all false allegations." There's a big difference between sexual misconduct and rape. What Tara Reade alleges is rape. What Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal allege is not. Telling someone they have a "pretty mouth" is misconduct, sticking your (uninvited) fingers into someone's vagina is rape. One is an ethical issue, the other is criminal. I'm not defending either, but they are not the same. I may be wrong, but as far as I know there haven't been any allegations of rape levied at Trump. Certainly none with evidence as compelling as Tara Reade's case. Regardless of what I just wrote above, the most striking thing about these cases is how the media reacts to them. They promote allegations against those with whom they disagree, while omitting those against their political favorites. That concerns me equally as much as whether the allegations are real or not. |
