2921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact of underage gambling? on: September 20, 2021, 04:57:52 PM
What is the best age a kid should get involve in online crypto gambling and what is your recommendation for that?
but why should they get involved in the first place? as much as I like gambling online I don't recommend or encourage people to try and gamble online especially if it is a child/kid. and if a kid gets exposed to it by accident and starts asking questions. be truthful and do not sugarcoat anything when you are explaining the pros and cons of gambling. I've seen too many people explain gambling by what price they could get and leaving out what you could lose when gambling.

However, unlike adults, young people are extremely vulnerable. I believe you are simply observing and noticing them. You don't seem to know them very well. They aren't addicted to it, as you believe. You can imagine that if a young person becomes addicted to gambling at a young age, he or she will be more likely to engage in illegal activities or extort money from their parents just to play. This is just one of the many consequences. I believe they should be informed of the danger.

Being underage has indeed emotional vulnerabilities and most of the time, they are young enough to make smart decisions for themselves.
I won't suggest the best age to get involve in gambling because for me, if you can let them not to get involved as long as possible, much better.
If you can't avoid it, it is better if they are already working and earning for themselves, so they know the value of money.
If they are working hard to get that money, they would know how to spend their funds wisely.
There are so many not-so-good consequences when a kid gets addicted to gambling, which will give you the impression not to let them involve in this addictive industry.
2922  Economy / Gambling / Re: ProvablyFair.me | Bet Verifiers | Fair gambling 🎲 🏆🍀 on: September 20, 2021, 10:31:29 AM
Excellent initiative.

I think that people these days generally tend to take what outcomes they get as granted, but you're still responsible for verifying your rolls.

Otherwise what's the point of provably fair? If you are actually obsessed with fairness then you should definitely verify every roll that you do (especially the ones that cost you >$100).

That is true unfortunately. We dont think that even 1% of our players will verify their bets, which is not good.

We rly do support projects like this. I might go as far as waring their signature if they have one to promote provably fairness. Hehe.

Most gamblers don't check the provable fairness of their games especially if they are playing on a reputable site.
It is like we already trust them enough regarding this important feature. But it is still best if you check this from time to time.
Just to make sure everything is in place. And this kind of service is great as they can make our jobs much easier.
On another note, I was surprised, they don't have the sportsbet verifier yet, which is actually the go-to of a lot of sportsbettors here.
2923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: September 20, 2021, 08:14:16 AM
Another good fight to come and a challenge for a great prospect like Shakur to pass the great wall of Herring to become one of the high-rank contenders in their current division. I think Shakur Stevenson has some chance to beat Oscar Valdez if they ever have a chance to step together inside the ring because the guy has some serious offensive skill that will break his opponent's defense. I saw it in his last fight I wonder if we can see it again in this upcoming fight.

The undercards are also interesting to watch out for.
From this article, Ali Walsh (the grandson of Muhammad Ali) is one of their undercards.
Can he follow the footsteps of his grandpa?

Anyway, Shakur is the favorite to win here.
Curious where the trash talks will end up in this match.
2924  Economy / Gambling / Re: planetofbets.bet Register and get Free bet ( bet with BTC , Cryptocurrency ) on: September 19, 2021, 11:43:54 PM
You have a problem, you are fully aware that there is no noticeable scam!
But you like the margins
I work in the market
I do not know if anyone is a judge here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That you are literate and also just should not judge one-sidedly

First of all, can you please calm down?
Secondly, please read the forum rules and do your best to abide by them: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
Lastly, work on your language skills. There are many tools online that can help you with your grammar and syntax. This style of communication shows disrespect for the community, and your arguments are almost impossible to follow.

You came to us in order to market your gambling platform. Remember that. We are not your enemies. So there is no need to attack members simply because they have expressed some doubts. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, and it is your job to set the facts straight and dispel those doubts.

I think the best approach here is to create a direct account from the site itself.
So they can communicate directly to the users here.
Also, as you already mentioned, maybe look for someone from the team that can truly manage the concerns here in a calmly manner.
It seems that he is not used to this kind of approach, but people here just need clarifications from their end.
2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] |BitOcoin|✅ Peer-to-peer Internet currency that enables instant payments ✅ on: September 19, 2021, 11:12:56 PM
Why did you create a new ANN thread? And not just update the old one?
Is it because you change the color theme or any other reason?
Also, your best features will be utilized good only if you are available in large number of exchanges.
And if possible, not on substandard exchanges with low trading volume but at least in medium-type exchanges.
2926  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Bitgame.com|🔥LUT Lightpaper is Launched|⚡️Crypto Betting + Weekly Divs|⚽️🎮 on: September 19, 2021, 10:30:26 PM
Welcome to Bitcointalk.org where a community of crypto gamblers.
Upon checking your site I was amazed by the user interface on the first page, it is a user-friendly and dont even irritate my eyes. But one thing I noticed upon visiting your casino because I myself is most commonly visit the FAQ because reading a TOS quite takes time to read it. If possible can you also add a FAQ so that those who frequently ask a question will easily spot it, just like knowing if the site will require KYC or not? Overall, your casino is good, and hopefully, you find your success here and promotion is a good step towards that goal.

Yes, I do agree that FAQ section is also an important one to include in those tabs.
Normally, for a new user, we have the same questions, like minimum deposit/withdrawal, fees, KYC and others.
So not to say this over and over again because it might not be seen within this thread, better publish it under FAQ section.
Also, not all users will register and check those things, sometimes, they want to check those details before signing up.

By the way, I've seen in previous page, the withdrawal fee in btc is quite high. Maybe, you can lower it to accommodate small time rollers.
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: September 19, 2021, 09:40:20 PM
I'm going to wait for Kambosos via decision odds, I think that would be attracted than the ML.

I reckon it could be close? I'm not expecting Kambosos to have an attractive odd of 10.00 or something via a decision odds, but I might be wrong here.

I'm not that good at analyzing the odds, but I have a feeling that the odds will not be over 10.00, it should be between 7-8 and that's good since Kambasos is not really a KO artist, and if he wins here, it would also be hard for him to KO Lopez as he is too smart to beat. How about the odds for a draw?

Same with Lopez, he is also not a knock-out artist, actually, Kambosos has only 10 KO wins compared to Lopez's 12.
As we can see in the comparison of the two fighters, both are almost in the same height, same reach and both are Orthodox fighters.

https://www.mytopsportsbooks.com/boxing/picks/lopez-vs-kambosos-07-22-2021/

If George Kambosos Jr. will win, I would assume that he wins because he has more experience.

There's only a slight advantage in terms of experience, usually, that's not a major thing to consider as a good fighter could really upset the champion, just like what Lopez did to Lomachenko who is an experienced fighter already before going pro, and he has a lot of big fights compared to Lopez. By the way, Lomachenko is also an Olympian, he won gold in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

The odds are clear. Sportsbooks favorite is Lopez.
But if you happen to believe that Kambosos can upset this fight, the odds are good.
Because betting on Lopez is really not worth that much, unless, you will put big money on him.

2928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⭐ [ANN] ⭐ Pet Puppies ⭐ [NFT collection series] ⭐ on: September 18, 2021, 11:48:52 PM
Seriously? $250 just to mint this NFT.
I would rather buy something that has a real value like a watch or a bracelet than purchase these overly expensive dog portraits.
Heck, there are even far more beautiful images of dogs on the internet; all free of charge.
If you guys are serious about this, then be transparent, post the list of charities that will be getting the percentage of sales from these NFTs.
Also, using gitbook as your main website does not give confidence to whoever is looking to buy these NFTs.

This is actually my hesitation on this project.
How do they assess the value of their NFT collectibles?
Are they just basing on the current hype and hoping that people will take the bait?
True, there are good/high quality images that you can avail via internet.
So don't know how they can make these as valuable NFT items.
Not all projects aiming to contribute in charitable organizations are serious.
Most of them are just front to get the interest of the community.
2929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Young Investors Prefer Cryptocurrencies? on: September 18, 2021, 10:58:46 PM
Of course, the enthusiasm of young people will be greater especially when they follow technological developments where many people are currently talking about bitcoin. It cannot be denied that young people are also smarter in understanding or deciding something because here it takes careful thought before deciding something. besides that it takes more effort in investing in bitcoin because we have to be more patient in following this ups and downs crypto market. Many fail to invest in bitcoin because they are in a hurry to decide something so they don't think carefully.

Younger generation are more open to new technologies that are being introduced in the market.
They have the curiosity to check and learn, whereas, most older generations tend to stick to their traditional way of living.
This is why younger gen are good targets when it comes to new advances in technology, and in this case, the rise of cryptocurrencies.
They are more versatile when it comes to this type of investment and are willing to understand more about its true nature.
2930  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀📈 Satcrash.io - No KYC - No blocked countries - Low min deposit🚀📈 on: September 18, 2021, 10:07:52 PM
I tried to get that free one but I guess we were too late? In any case it is really just a crash game, nothing too shocking, not that many gambling right now but it is starting of just recently and it can get a bit better. I would say that it is not doing that bad, it has a potential but if they stay only as the good old crash game then I do not believe that we will see this place grow too big.

We already have another website that is godfather of all crash games and they haven't changed a single thing for the past 5+ years, in order to beat them you just need to add new features that would actually make people move from there to here. Otherwise they would not really change the place they play just for something that is exactly the same.
Actually i don't mind if that site offer same game with the other site. We all know almost all gambling sites have similar game with each other. It's difficult to offer something which really new. There is no guarantee the new game will be liked by everyone though, so better offer popular games which people already liked it before, and it's crash game. Satcrash is offer something easy sign up, without any restriction countries to make people become easier to play the game they liked.

Aside from that, they have very low min deposit and no min withdrawal.
And their withdrawal fee is bit lower to some sites.
But with several established crash sites, they need to offer exciting programs for the players to check out this site.
Maybe contests such as wagering/race contests or bonus programs.
In time, we will know if this site can survive in this competition and if they can sustain their community.
2931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: September 17, 2021, 11:42:48 PM

I commented that some pages ago but this is not an official ANN, when asked the Axie Infinity team confirmed they don't maintain an official ANN here since there are many social networks to take care of, and that fans were free to spread the word about the game as they liked, so this is maintained by fans

That's a bad decision not to maintain an official thread here they should have one official representative here to address all issues about Axie Infinity maybe they are afraid to answer legit questions on how they run their project, SLP is going down in the past two weeks, yes there's a little pump these past two days but can it keep up, if you are a latecomer here and bought at a higher price, you are losing your investment.

I think, for them, their presence in social media channels is more than enough to address their community.
And they have reached a lot of players without creating their own thread here but a supporter did.
As Lucasgabd said, they are pretty much active in other channels like twitter or discord, so they can easily answer all the queries from their players as well.
This is interesting how long they can sustain the interest of gamers as they try to take their opportunity to earn from this gaming platform.
2932  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: September 17, 2021, 10:53:44 PM
In this article, he can see how much the price for each license is.

https://merehead.com/blog/cost-to-start-an-online-casino/
https://theislandnow.com/blog-112/offshore-gambling-license-which-one-to-choose/
https://www.gaminator-system.com/en/how-to-start-an-online-gambling-business-quickly-gaminator-expert-answers

Besides that, maybe he can adjust his budget before selecting one of the licenses on that article. But I do not know if that price is the same until today. Maybe he can check for each license to know more. In each article shows him about licensing and build a gambling site.

I do not think renting a gambling license will solve the problem since he can spend much more money than registering his own license. But that will be up to him.

We don't know his reasons why he will go to the route of renting instead of acquiring his own license.
But for less trouble, I believe, it is better to buy your own rather than renting it from someone else's.
These days, there are already cheaper options, and a lot are choosing this Curacao gaming license.
Look also for maintenance requirements, because they may require you some documents/information that you need to regularly supply your license provider.
2933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: September 16, 2021, 11:59:40 PM
The Puerto Rican might be a good prospect but he is facing somebody with much more experience and this will be a significant test for him. Sultan has not been consistent enough to become champion. He beat Casimero but then lost to Ancajas. Sultan has 5 losses but has never been knocked out. My prediction is that this will go the distance but the undefeated fighter will get the decision.
Surprisingly, he beat Casimero in 2017 and that was a good match because they both gave their best shot. With the record that Sultan have, its pretty bad for me and it will be hard to attract gamblers to place their bet on him since he is fighting a great boxer with a clean record so this will be an easy prediction for me, he might not get knock out but Caraballo will give him the taste of great boxing for sure.
That was a long time ago, imagine, it's more or less 4 years and during that time Casimero is still not under the MP promotion. Casimero really improved under MP promotion as he has great people that supports him and Manny is very supportive as well, if I'm not mistaken, Casimero has not loss a single fight yet under MP promotion.
Actually, both fighters had already improved and I hope they will not fight each other again and they just have to continue making their respective names popular in boxing sports. By the way, for those who do not know yet, Sultan is also now under MP promotion. (source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonas_Sultan)... so there's no chance that we will see a Casimero vs Sultan fight.

With the same promoter, it is unlikely that they will be fighting.
Obviously, they will look for other boxers with different promoters.
But I am interested with this upcoming fight, if Sultan can upset Caraballo.
Will being under MP promotions help him to be an excellent boxer?
2934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Tether? on: September 16, 2021, 11:06:04 PM
Tether is fiiiine. Stop the Fudding.

They audited themselves and declared that they have the backing for every dollar in their $68b portfolio. Why make it a big deal now? Haven't you learned anything yet? Tether is as solid as a rock. It will not go down.
 Grin

I wouldn't get my hopes high yet. After all, Tether is a centralized stablecoin subject to manipulation, fraud, and corruption. It's like "Banking 2.0" if you ask me. There will always be the risk of loss, due to the way Tether was designed. What's stopping the issuer from running away with the money or closing up shop? Or what's stopping the government from taking down Tether in its entirety? For what I know, nothing lasts forever. You're better off cashing out your crypto to Fiat than exchanging it to a centralized stablecoin like Tether. The risks are simply too high to bear. Expect many USDT holders to go "rekt" if something bad happens in the future. With or without Tether, crypto will be here to stay thanks to its decentralized and censorship-resistant nature. Just my thoughts Grin

I have hesitations with tether when they admitted last 2019 that they were not fully backed with USD assets.
It is good that up until now, after 5 years the OP posted this thread, tether is still standing up.
But I won't suggest to hold this for long term because one mistake from the Tether team or major hacking and we may see this crumbling.
Just keep your funds safe and as much as possible diversify your portfolio. We can't trust them to fully respect their promises.
2935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Hafthor Bjornsson vs Devon Larratt on: September 16, 2021, 10:30:34 PM
~
I don't think the fight will be fun to watch, because the two fighters have absolutely no foundation in boxing, as we all know that Björnsson is an athlete who participates in strongman competitions and so far he has never participated in combat sports whatever, so is Devon Larratt who is a wrestler and to be honest maybe the boxing match will just be a joke in the ring in my opinion Grin.

That's you, for me, it's going to be a good time because we will be seeing these brutes duke it out in the ring without any fundamentals in boxing which is a good thing, it's like watching a train crash, you know it's bad and depressing but you still want to watch.

That reaction made me laugh though.
I believe bookies will list this match at the last minute, what I mean is maybe few hours before the fight.
But for us here, I think, we will just watch this fight and their undercards for entertainment purposes.
Don't think a lot of us here will bet on these fighters. Even sportsbooks are not yet picking up these fights.
2936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano hit $3? on: September 15, 2021, 11:56:19 PM
$3? I think it's too low for the Cardano price. right now the cardano's price is $2.52 and it's very close to $3. everyone has high dreams on all coins this year, at the end of the year to be exact. maybe the Cardano will go up to $7-10 maybe more. let's hope for the best. I also have quite a bit of Cardano and wish me the best.
as of this month ADA has reached ATH $3.09 - Sep 02, 2021 so it should be easy to do for just $3. I agree and completely agree with you that by the end of the year there will be a large enough increase so that all will increase, including ADA. the possibility for ADA to reach the level of $ 10 is not impossible to achieve. we just have to wait for the start of the movement which will happen next month until the end of the year.

At least, the OP is being realistic here. Some people sometimes are asking too much.
As ADA is now in the top 3, hitting again the $3 is very easy and maybe even $4-5 before this year ends.
But we need to see more projects being built under ADA network, because that will solidify their presence in the market.

I share with you this graphene infographic made by the community, I hope it is clear what the targets of this project are:
-

The TPS is very promising feature. But this feature will only be tested once you are operational.
Also, interesting how much fees are you going to charge with your users?
When are you going to fully launch your network? Can it get the interest of crypto users?
And compete with eth, sol, dot and other networks mentioned above, in terms of users?
2938  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is listed on CoinGecko|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|🐒 ApeSwap partnership on: September 15, 2021, 10:40:45 PM

We can't predict what's the plan but reading those updates, the chance of reaching Binance is not by far. BFG though needs a huge amount to begin with, maybe one of those reasons why we still don't have any updates.

But if you start bagging those cheap coins now and patiently wait, good news always follows for a project that has working developers behind.

I also believe that Binance will have huge impacts on this coin, investors' interest will increase and possible holder and buyers from Binance are also be expected to join the ride.

Give them still some time as they are only in the beginning with the plans of their tokens to list it. Until now, they always delivered what they promised (check their roadmap), so the listing will come.
Binance will have a huge impact on the price, but mainly in the beginning. Than we might see a massive pump (or dump) but after that I think the "Binance effect" fades out.

If they can sustain the interest not only the traders but the players itself, they may maintain their performance.
However, it really needs a lot of effort from their side. Keeping the interest of players is really a challenge.
But they are one of the few casinos that integrate farming and staking within their site. So I believe, that's one of their advantages.
2939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official Widecoin - WCN Project on: September 14, 2021, 11:34:21 PM
So you created Widecoin however you accept Widecoin as donation ?

No any single person of WCN is holding a huge amount of WCN besides existing donors, traders or big mining farms. WCN donation is using for giveaway, faucet, bounty and marketing campaign.

The price in the exchanges is somewhat discouraging from new traders or holders.
Do you have plans in the pipeline how to boost your price?
You have been listed in several exchanges already, so thinking of another exchange can wait.
Just focus on how to increase your value in the market, and listing another one would be easier.
2940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOOK: Biggest financial institution in El Salvador embraces Bitcoin? on: September 14, 2021, 10:37:43 PM
If you followed the news about what El Salvador did, you'll know that it is only a matter of time before businesses(big or small) starts accepting BTC. there's really nothing to be surprised about here.
if you look on the bitcoin discussion board you'll find another thread talking about fast food chains in El Salvador accepting BTC.
This is a surprise though, investment companies are against bitcoin together with the public so seeing a company being all buddy buddy with bitcoin in El Salvador is a surprise for me, maybe they've seen that it's inevitable and either they adopt early and make a lot of profits or resist the inevitable.

I believe it is not a surprising, it is just a matter of time before we see this kind of partnership.
And El Salvador is leading the way showing that it can be done.
So who knows, other countries may follow their path once they see the positive effect on their ecosystem?
Everything is indeed possible, if the government is willing to take their chance and be open to new technologies.
