I would like to ask what is the reason why you are asking for KYC verification when someone wants to withdraw money?
If KYC verification is needed every time someone makes a withdrawal, you should ask for it during creating an account. Unless you assume that players will never withdraw anything ..

I think it will take a lot of time before this education program bears good fruit so I guess I will just have to wait for the results. As long it do shows up some effectiveness then that the time they could tell that it is a success but i doubt that results wont really be that on point which means this would be a long wait but im not really that against nor do tell that this isnt a good one but rather on the middle side of things since spreading awareness motive is good initiative but actually these things doesnt really need to be that complicated or really go into certain extent which makes them impose this kind of act. The results might actually depend on how it's implemented. The concept is good, they have good ideas and intentions, what's left is to implement it in a way that it would have a good audience, plus they can also talk with the universities and schools as well to get a wider audience. I think this might work if done correctly. At least they are trying something. It's idea, implication, concept improvement according to the results and all of this is quite going to be complicated. At least, facing the reality here and finding a way how to address the issue at hand. Because in most cases, people don't want to talk about their gambling habits, they even hide it to others. So if they are open about in this issue, they would know how to tackle this problem if in case they will encounter in the future or they know someone close to them battling such trouble. Did you miss it or you decide to put them back on your site? Some of these review sites are hesitant to remove 1xbit because they have large user base outside the forum. But for the forum users, it is best that they are not included in the list, to avoid further damage to other users. Though this may backfire on the side of the online gambling website, submitting/requiring KYC documents during the registration is one way in order to combat online underaged gamblers. But then again, most people avoid gambling websites that require KYC and this would definitely take a toll on the player base of a gambling website, thus, I do not see this happening in the near future. I think you are referring to a particular set of scammers that would do social hacking rather than pure old hacker work and mostly related to identity theft. You can potentially get scammed in so many ways and credit card fraud is so frequent that there is not a single guide that can help you avoid it. Even commercial software sometimes comes with trojans - remember the SolarWinds hack - and even the apparently safest companies may have penetrations from time to time.

Exactly there is only so much we can do to protect ourselves when it comes to a technical point of view and the rest is simple common sense, the most important thing when it comes to social hacks is to know when something is simply too good to be true, many people let greed blind them and because of it they take decisions that under normal circumstances they will not take and by the time they realize their mistake their coins have left their wallet and there is nothing else to do but to accept those losses. In this digital age, one should always be careful what sites he is visiting or signing up with his details. We don't know where our details end up with. So to prevent this from happening or to lessen the chance, don't click sites that you are not familiar with. Also, one thing to check is to do quick search in google or any search engine. If they are willing to advertise this project and pay their participants in btc, this means, they have funds for their marketing activities.
Creating bridge between ETH, BSC and ADA may attract those networks users. And hopefully, the fees are competitive enough.

Controversial opinion but I agree with this. We do not show adult content in the day time and only show it past a certain time because of young people that could be watching. Gambling is the same because with cryptocurrency gambling websites KYC is not a requirement and it is easier than ever for children to illegally gamble I think reducing the amount of exposure they have is the best option we have until we can get more regulations with cryptocurrency websites to stop young people gambling. Unfortunately this is not a long term solution.
The root cause of young people gambling is definitely not this. People don't feel the urge to gamble just because they see a celebrity/athlete wear the banner of a certain sportsbook company on their jersey.

As far as I know, the only working way (at least from the bookmaker's side) is to look at the volume of bets. If the volume is sharply higher than the average for a regular match (we exclude top events), then such a match is often considered suspicious and bets are returned to all those who have already made them. Have you came across that scenario where the bets you made were voided. I got bets getting voided but usually those are issues with the bookmaker and not because of manipulation and leaked outcomes. Even if there is corruption in sport you wont be knowing about it until years when there is an investigation that exposes them and by that time nothing changes in the bets you made. I have had some bets voided but it is not because of the bookmaker but because of the game itself. Anyway, corruption is everywhere and sports is not excluded in this human behavior. This is true, situations involving corruption of officials will only come to light years later, once somebody brought it to public. But you can't do anything much when that happens because it was already over, and you can't do anything much about it but accept. |

Predicting the price of bitcoin is never easy because of its high volatility so some days will be bullish while some are bearish. But never to the point of making its price stabilized and stop at its maximum price. Holders will always believe that its price will keep surging and even if price corrections hit it, it will always recover and rise up again. This is what the holders keep them from holding their bitcoin. And even predicting how far bitcoin price will be remains to be uncertain. No one knows actually. The only thing that is certain is it will still live a couple of decades before it will lost its value and slowly deteriorating. Stability of price is the common reason why most merchants or shops don't want to include bitcoin as part of their payment methods. As they are still grasping on how they can tackle this concern, they are just checking other merchants how it can possibly improve or affect their businesses. And for the reason that no one can give you precise prediction, we all are just depending on the market movement as it comes. |
