Nvidia GPU's make poor miners. Don't expect very high hash rates.
Well, i know it's pretty much worthless for Bitcoin and Litecoin but also for Feathercoin? Any idea what i can expect with this setup? Afraid so. About 200 kHash/s if using GPU and CPU. |

You do not need to splice any PCIe extender cables. Ever. Under no circumstances.
If you were to plug your GPU directly onto the motherboard, is there any place for an added molex power connector? No.
If you are only extending the PCIe connectors with extender cables, then you never need to cut, splice or add any molex non since.

The paperclip trick for the PSU works great. That's what I do, even in my little youtube video.
And yes I use uncut PCI extenders too.
This is false. 5970's require 75w through the PCIe slots. 1x can't deliver that. You need molex to provide the required power. |

i like that. i can make sense of being appreciative for forgiveness. i have asked for help. many times. either he isnt there, i dont realize the help he has given me, or he hasnt helped me yet cause i dont make enough effort to change. my friends and family keep telling me to "help myself." its not as easy to do as it is to say.

Would it be possible to make the blocks at 1 min intervals?
Reason is that if transactions are carried by blocks, the transaction time goes down.
The risk of a mined block by a miner getting orphaned increases though. |
