2981  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who were the morons that bought 60k bitcoin? on: June 06, 2021, 08:36:58 PM
That's not the end of it. I also didn't sold on 2017 but did some selling this time but it's not entirely my whole portfolio that has been sold. I'm looking forward to the next years to come or with the next cycle.

Those folks who bought @ the peak of 2017 was also called the same but if they've held until the peak for this year, they've earned x3.

we all gotta learn our lessons Smiley
I agree.
2982  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 06, 2021, 08:10:28 PM
Covid 19 really has great effect in our country economically speaking, literary our country is down now with lot of debts, lots of business are closed, school closed, no transportation, hospitals are full of patients more and more health worker are suffering some doctors died, to top of that the politics-corruption in our country is really worst  its totally different from the normal life we used to have, but some still good things happened, people are became innovative they were able to find way to make a living out of this pandemic, and they help one another in this time of crisis.
It is very sad that there are politicians that are taking advantage of the situation. They don't care about the welfare and well being of the people as long as they'll get what they want and their main goal is to make their pockets full out of this pandemic.

Yeah, there are still those people that have the spirit of helping because this is a crisis that we should deal altogether and beat together. But it's just disappointing to know that it's not only your country that has to deal with such corrupt politicians but for sure there are others too.
The culture of corruption seems to have been attached to several officials in every country. they use their power to achieve personal goals, although severe punishment does not seem to deter the perpetrators. Therefore, the transparency system is very good to reduce the number of corruption, so that this pandemic will be resolved soon, with targeted assistance
I think it won't be gone unless there's a principle that each politician is protecting and as well as their known good reputation. In some cases, even the good ones are also being stained due to the influence and the money that's under the table.

And in this pandemic, many of them has saw the huge money that's going outside due to the budgeting that has been put into law and that's why those corrupts are taking advantage of it.
2983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025? on: June 06, 2021, 10:00:52 AM
What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025?
It can be traded in all countries but what's stopping is the government rules. But I've seen people even if there's already a rule that trading cryptos is banned on their countries, there's no way their government can stop them.

That's why even it won't take 2025, bitcoin can be traded in every country. There's a ban and yet the government didn't know that their citizens can still trade it.
2984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POS instead POW on: June 04, 2021, 10:24:26 PM
It has been tackled many times years ago and it simply cannot happen.

There's more security if bitcoin remains PoW and that's why it had never changed. We know that PoS is very promising and that's why ETH is going on it for its ETH 2.0.

But if it's about network security, PoW is giving that.

2986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 04, 2021, 08:24:26 PM
Die?

https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/

Bitcoin has been said dead for 416 times.

You're only looking at the peak price of bitcoin and the current price. Zoom out if you have to take a look and think if the word "die" is suitable from what you're saying.
2987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed in trade it's not joke. on: June 04, 2021, 04:17:43 PM
They tend to choose to become a trader and that's why they won't just settle with their holdings. It is common to have holdings and if somebody who holds wants to trade, that's making him want to earn more or accumulate more as he trade.
The self-improvement process described above is only natural for those who are doing well in the little trading volume they make. Of note, it is much easier to trade in a bull market because if you hold for long enough with all the coins popping you'll end up in profit but this is not the case in the bear market.

This is why many traders when they encounter losses get disheartened and lose interest but the key to success is perseverance and learning. It's like saying you're never going to walk again because you fell a couple of times.
I've felt that disappointment when I've incurred losses before.

I thought that there's no way to recover but there are several methods that we can do and one of it is trading. But the mental breakdown of it is strong especially if the amount involved is quite big and you can't talk about it.

Because you'll feel the regret that you should have taken the profit already as you hold and when you trade, you'll just remember that moment which will give you disappointment.
2988  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List of Crypto guides and resources, update to 31/5 on: June 03, 2021, 09:04:46 PM
Aside from the news related to Tesla/Elon.

Those were interesting articles/guides that you have consolidated. And if you're going to include most of them, you'll have to be active to update it from time to time.

There are other more articles and guides that are good to put on that list but you need to take time listing them.
2989  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we entering bear market? How low will btc go in the coming year? on: June 03, 2021, 08:06:21 PM
Don't be to pessimistic. Bitcoin can't go lower than it did the last year.
Nice insight. But you can't stop people to have that thoughts of being pessimistic because they're comparing it to the last bull run and bear market.

That's why that thought has been formed for most of us and thought that because we saw bitcoin dropped 50% then it should be the start of the bear market.

And what's good on this, bitcoin is recovering gradually.
2990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk's tweets violated court orders on: June 03, 2021, 07:06:11 PM
This makes me remember about John McAfee's the same attitude during the 2017 bull run. Well, for sure that there's really someone has to pay with all of this. At first it's the people that had paid him well because for sure that he did his thing during those hypes.

But this time, I think that he's going to lie-low for a while or he'll show that no one can stop him manipulating the market but I agree on this as well:

But seriously, we wouldn't need the SEC to go after him if only people in general stopped impulsively making trading decisions off his Tweets.
2991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed in trade it's not joke. on: June 03, 2021, 06:15:00 PM
Trading is not really kind of easy buy as a trader definetly you have to lose sometimes but I believe you profit should be more higher than your lost and you have to learn about risk management before you go into cryptocurrency to reduce your lost.
Traders tend to recover their losses with their next trades. And to cover and recover the previous loss, they have to maintain a higher profit than that loss.

But you have said that it's not an easy task. Because the market sentiment is changing from time to time but for experienced traders, this is a very normal thing and they wouldn't care about their losses as long as they are consistent with their gains.

Much important if a trader wouldn't give up on their respective holdings, because someday they'll be blessed with the potential profit that they might acquire. However, it needs more patience instead of worries as market behavior became so unpredictable. As of now it tries to recover what have been lost from previous downturn, so let's embrace every pumps and have satisfaction on particular price developments.
They tend to choose to become a trader and that's why they won't just settle with their holdings. It is common to have holdings and if somebody who holds wants to trade, that's making him want to earn more or accumulate more as he trade.

The satisfaction you're saying isn't going to stay forever. We're all bound to hope for more and higher prices, more in accumulation. And that's why it never stops when you see someone wants to trade for more.

2993  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-03-24] Elon Musk - now you can buy a Tesla for bitcoin on: June 01, 2021, 11:40:19 AM
At the ironic suggestion from @DocumentingBTC, Musk created a potential new use case for Dogecoin mining, namely a bath (SPA-256 HotTub) heated by the spare energy coming from the DOGE mining installation. But Elon Musk took it seriously and said it was a great idea.. Smiley

LOL @ Elon.

It's probably a double meaning for him as well. He's just riding the irony that's being done to him as he's also doing that to everyone with his tweets.

The replies to his "nice" are funny and entertaining.
2994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: June 01, 2021, 09:46:45 AM
I always listen to my self I just collect some suggestion but i was the only one who decide because at the end of the day if we loss we are the one to loss so if they said it is time to be greedy, but for me i will still hold till market runs green again, being greedy and selling at loss is really a bad decision I always do that before bit now I understand how crypto works.
That's true.

You take the advice of others if you think that they really are good and you don't blame them if you happen to start losing because you followed that advice.

But if you're the only one who decides whether you have to buy or you have to sell then there's no one that's responsible for your action but only yourself and you blame yourself yet you learn some lessons.
2995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 01, 2021, 08:49:32 AM
76ers couldn't finish the job and Wizards managed to get at least one win last night (122-114). Especially, Russell Westbrook was awesome. He made a huge triple-double (19 PTS, 21 REB, 14 AST). His contribution to this win was so big surely.
The wizards still managed to get to game 5. If they'll do it and won consecutively then they will turn the table and will be in their favor. A couple of injuries has happened in this match.

Bertans and Embiid were out early. Are we going to see straight turnover games for the Wizards? exciting.

2997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed in trade it's not joke. on: May 31, 2021, 08:43:49 PM
Sometimes you learn better for mistake. Trading Isn't easy coz you need to trading signal and also you need enough knowledge about trading. Profit and lose are both with trading . So you need to keep patience and move on
You don't need to have trading signals, what you need is to be able to be knowledgeable with charts and you know how to read it. Trading signals are just for those who don't want to improve in trading or just a casual trader but it's not always that accurate, mostly.

It's been said with those people who have experienced trading signals that it's not really profitable at all. They'll give you some insights about the market but it will up to you if you think they're helpful and might even charge you for just getting in.
2998  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: May 31, 2021, 08:07:26 PM
I am not a full time trader and not a defi investor too.

I don't feel that defi is for me because I'm only sticking to invest and hold to the coins that I really like and believes that there's going to be a big future. I'm avoiding risk like hit or miss, I'll let you guys get on that if you like that type of risk taking.

But I just can't do that but when I do, I'll for sure stumble at the beginning of it because I've done that in the past and I've just learned that it's better to stick wherever I am right now.

I have my plan to build a quite good setup for coins that I'll be staking soon, a good passive income but it requires quite lot of money.
2999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe in digital money? Well... on: May 31, 2021, 07:17:50 PM
There's Uber for taxi's and there's Airbnb for hotels.

Although we've been using digital money for years, the new thing about bitcoin is that it's revolutionizing the financial industry including the investing and payment sector.

It's a combination of both that hasn't been found before with the existing financial instruments.
And what people don't get about Bitcoin is that it is the Uber and Airbnb of money. It doesn't have any physical properties but you know that they have the power to operate on their specific area of specialty. Let them see bitcoin go up to 100k and have them rush in to buy now that it is too late.
Well, we're all waiting for bitcoin to reach to $100k.

And just as those services that doesn't have physical properties but they're becoming known through digitalization and with the use of Internet. Having bitcoin is also like owning your own bank.

That's the quote that I've learned from blockchain.info now blockchain.com long time ago.
3000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: May 31, 2021, 06:44:31 PM
Competition.

They don't like it and aside from not knowing it, the only thing they know is that it's going to be a threat to their business or whatever they're working it. And instead of embracing it, they don't have choice even they don't understand it, they're attacking it.

That's the closest reasons of what I can think of why they do that.
For me, it's mostly because of lack of self-knowledge and ignorance. You would not want to destroy bitcoin if you only know how it works and the high volatility it has. And i understand that most of them who are attacking bitcoin are newbies. If they can't cope up with the fast changing crypto market, then crypto is not meant for them.

I used to rant about bitcoin before and how i made losses from it but when the time comes that i have fully understood about bitcoin, it suddenly changes my own perspective. Now, even if i see dumps in crypto, i just sit and relax while enjoying the ride. After all, this bearish season also gives us the opportunity to accumulate more bitcoin.
Perfect example.

That's another reason why they're attacking bitcoin and as long as you don't understand it, you're just going to complain about it and will look at the negative attributes that you're longing to look at.

But you'll never take a look to the positive that it has brought to many people in the community and that's why they keep on slandering bitcoin. Because they think that they're superior and understands more than us.
