2081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto becoming centralized? on: April 08, 2022, 10:44:05 PM
Likely.

But it's part of the growth of the market for being decentralized, there could be huge companies that can come in and make their own monopoly. Sad but true and we have to embrace this reality.

And the thing is that, it's becoming a divided side like many cryptos are only for trading and there goes the others that are mainly used for transactions.
2082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which rookie candidate will make a better trader and quickly too? on: April 08, 2022, 09:41:58 PM
If the person being paid is really a trader and not just a sort of coach that earns money from his trading course. Then, I'd say that's a shortcut and that person could really help to make someone profitable.

I've seen real traders that are helping a lot of newbies to go into trading without any pay. Those type of teachers just really want to share their knowledge and has ample time to give insights and teachings about the market.

The second one, it's like the best traders that have gone through the experiences and I'd say that I'll choose this path if the speed of being profitable isn't a matter.
2083  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: April 07, 2022, 11:18:19 PM
Anyone see the stacking platform its no longer available to make staking.
All the options now are with the sign "Expired". When they are gonna to reopen the staking?.
In telegram they said something?
And with the period ended when i click in harvest seems like we have a fee, when the fee have to be 0 if i understand good.
It is the owldao.io website where the pool is found.

Yeah, I can see that most of the opened pools are expired and that does only mean that we have to wait until when they're going to reopen them. Just as the same announcement that they've made for the sportsbook.

We have to wait for the opening of it as well. The fees are indicated there as well but temporarily, they've expired or currently closed.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Spikes 10% After News Of Musk's $3B Stake in Twitter on: April 07, 2022, 10:47:13 PM
So what's the correlation between elon was holding some twitter shares to the pump that happened with the doge coin? i see that no correlation in this case. In fact that the shares owned by elon in the twitter company didn't even give any impact to the doge coin or shiba inu. The pump was triggered by the bitcoin pump last weeks but this time it's dumped again and doge coin too.
I see that if this news was just another click bait news with no good information that can be got through reading the whole of article.
Why the doge coin community is always taking everything to be correlated with its coin. This is weird.
Me too.

I don't see the connection on it and the pump wasn't that much and it begins to drop again. I guess the only connection that people can do is about this.

Doge - Elon

Twitter - Elon

Other than that, it's all about Elon and the things that he touches and talks about. A mere coincidence that the pump has happened done by big traders for Dogecoin.
2085  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: April 07, 2022, 10:07:37 PM
The biggest advantage that Russia has is that it has natural resources that almost no other country has. I firmly believe that with Russia's current condition, they will be able to withstand international economic sanctions for several months and even years into the future. Western countries should be able to find other ways to stop the war other than by imposing sanctions on Russia.
They're able to withstand with it.

No matter how bad the sanctions are, they've probably anticipated this and has a lot of options to make with their allies and countries that would still like to trade with them.

It's actually not a loss for them, they may experience a bad economy these days but it won't be staying there forever and they'll gradually recover. The same as the normal markets that we know related to crypto.
With the available resources Russia have got the ability to overcome any sanctions. Just with the oil Russia have made the plan and demanded to pay in Rubles, if not just shut down and move. Western nations might've never thought of such a demand. In the long term the economy will recover, and with this war more other forms of trade have begun and this will affect the USD in the long term.
It is because they've got those resources.

And those sanctions are just going to make them demand what they want and it seems that they're winning on it. Winning in a way that they're now giving their own rules and demand in exchange for their products like oil.

I guess those countries that have been trading and being supplied by them never anticipated this to happen. But, it just happened and they now have to look for other source and supplier for this main product they have.
2086  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: April 06, 2022, 11:53:40 PM
Don't you consider Russian citizens to be human beings? They are also human beings, so why would they face this boycott, why would they suffer the consequences of political activities ?
I know this boycott will also speak out against Russian civilians, just as the Ukrainian civilians were persecuted. So I don't support the boycott ...
It's just an idea and I don't know if the others have already done it. The thing about boy cotting is that there really are casinos from Russia that are likely a scam and those are the casinos that deserve it.

But for those innocent ones, you do what you think is right. If you've been playing with them for a long time and you see this idea pop out of nowhere then it's still you that's going to decide whether you'll follow the crowd or not.
2087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge price this year ? on: April 06, 2022, 10:50:39 PM
Even the fastest prediction won't say that Dogecoin is going to be at $1 soon. I doubt it that it will eventually be there although the market is very fluctuative and unpredictable.
It may not be soon, but a great bull market is still coming in a way cryptocurrencies will reach ATH, in that time, doge should be able to reach over $1.
We shall see it happen.

And whoever holds by that time and bought at this current rate, you guys shall enjoy your profit. But I'm really thinking that it won't happen the soonest that I think about it.

The chance currently is low but yeah, we don't know how high it can go back when another bull run confirms that makes bitcoin reaches another all time high then, Dogecoin shall also go up as btc.

That's good to know. Since I am enjoying placing bets in their sports betting, they really have good market which covers most of the games unlike other casinos that has limited markets in their bookies, I will just be waiting for their announcement  and just play with the original and table games.
Well, there's now an announcement and I guess that you won't like it but it's an important thing for the team to assess it and take an action rather than being abused that has been found by them.

I do agree that they're great having the market share of having the sportsbook but if they say that there's something must be done and that's the temporary removal of sportsbetting, we can't do anything with that and they know what's best for their casino.
2090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge price this year ? on: April 05, 2022, 11:15:15 PM
Is doge still path to 1$ ?
No.

How fast it gona be so ?
Even the fastest prediction won't say that Dogecoin is going to be at $1 soon. I doubt it that it will eventually be there although the market is very fluctuative and unpredictable.

But that's what I think that won't happen at this time. Maybe if the market cap increases as a whole, there's a likely that we might see it happen and come.
2091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What have been your crypto trading experience on: April 05, 2022, 10:45:06 PM
I remember I bought my Ethereum at an affordable rate and due to my ignorance and impatience I sold it a low price even though to me,the price was great since I made my profit.
You're not alone with that experience because many from here and outside the forum have done that.

Because of the confidence and rush that we've felt, we're quick into selling it because we've thought that it's about to go down. That's okay and typical and the important thing is that you've made money from it.

You have to re-do it if you want to continue and wait again until it goes down.
2092  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: April 04, 2022, 11:54:25 PM
Do they have an official announcement on what could be the reason or problem why they temporarily removed the sports betting? Or was it permanent? If yes I think many players would be disappointed since most of the players are placing bets in sports betting including me.
Maybe not permanent.

But if you have read it above, there were suspicious bet slips that they have to monitor and recheck for further verifications. There's no announcement yet on their twitter as I've checked it again.

Just wait for the announcement and we don't have to make any conclusions yet about the temporary maintenance of the sportsbook. Let them check it first and we only need to wait.
2093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: April 04, 2022, 10:52:50 PM
I've never done that as well.

I make sure that there's a sufficient evidence and review before I try one. But I think the reason behind traders going to a newer or unknown one is due to some promos that they do.

Like they have some special promo that shall give them the chance to earn more aside from their trading profits there. This usually happens and for some, it's likely that they just want to try.
I've done it before only because I was participating in an altcoin signature campaign at the time and the only way to convert them to bitcoins was by using a less popular exchange.

Other reasons for traders to use another exchange is due to lower requirements like charging smaller fees knowing most of the big exchanges charge a lot when it comes to bitcoin withdrawals. Even though altcoin remains an option there are traders who prefer to cash out their money in bitcoin.
Yeah.

That's how it goes for the others.

Like if it's the only exchange that has those bounty tokens that they've got and they want to have it exchanged there, they're going to sign up for that exchange for that reason.

And after selling those tokens and converting it into bitcoin or any better altcoin, they'll just leave then and won't comeback there again.
2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about gaming and metaverse on: April 04, 2022, 09:55:14 PM
Now P2E are very popular and in demand. Every day a new P2E games appear and investors have a big choice of different games to play.
The opportunity to earn money increases.
And not all new projects that comes out are good to invest with. OP has given a choice and they're both good, gala and decentraland. There are many of them and you only need to research all about them to have an idea which is good and which is bad to invest with our money.

The future of P2E is still unknown.

It can be like the crowdfunding craze before that eventually have died but we don't know if things have changed completely.
2095  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: April 03, 2022, 11:31:15 PM
Any social media announcement regarding this?
None. I've checked their twitter but found nothing.

But it's on their website if you go through the sports section, that's actually the message that's popped at the top of the website.

https://owl.games/sports

There are still some list but as said, they're not yet accepting any new bets and we have to wait until when they're going to reopen it again for everyone.

For now, let's just wait any further announcement from them if they're going to tell what has happened or if it's ready to be back.
2096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: April 03, 2022, 10:40:27 PM
I don’t know why anyone would choose to make use of an unknown exchange, that is something that I have never tried since I started trading cryptocurrency. I have always made sure that I’m making use of reliable exchanges and the ones that are well-known in the crypto-currency market.
I've never done that as well.

I make sure that there's a sufficient evidence and review before I try one. But I think the reason behind traders going to a newer or unknown one is due to some promos that they do.

2097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to grow my wallet? on: April 03, 2022, 09:46:41 PM
Assuming I've made up my mind to hold on to a token for many years but after a year this token hit a new ATH what should I do as a newbie? Sell or not sell?
Sell, if you want to reinvest it somewhere.

As a newbie, if you have confidence on that token then you shall hold it if you're for the long term.

But if it's on these times and you're looking forward to grow your wallet, there's really a need to start selling and then invest it to another crypto like bitcoin, ethereum and bnb.
2098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel if satoshi back on: April 02, 2022, 11:35:11 AM
Let's just stop thinking or assuming with these what-ifs and reactions of us if ever he's back. Let's save those reactions if ever he's literally back for real.

And the first community to know of his return is this forum as he's the foundation of bitcointalk. But going with the reality, let's settle and don't think about it anymore.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 02, 2022, 08:50:26 AM
@OP

I think you can now remove this thread on the 2nd post.

It's been said that there's no Paul vs Tyson that shall happen. It's final and all of the discussions that are found are just for the speculations despite the validation of Tyson's staff that this really won't come to reality.

Butler and Casimero's fight is about to come as well and I think that shall be the replacement of the said thread quoted. It's near to happen and just a few weeks around.
2100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: April 02, 2022, 06:25:11 AM
I have no confirmation of this, but it is rumored that Stake paid $100 000 000 for Drake's sponsorship. This might sound like a lot of money, but they have a $50 000 Giveaway every Saturday, where they have almost 2 million tickets in the draw. A person qualify for 1 ticket, once you have wagered $1000 at Stake. (Do your calculations if a person loose about $50 per $1000 wagered.... because that is close to $100 000 000 Gross income per week)  Roll Eyes
Still, that's a huge number for that partnership but what can we expect from celebrity deals? They won't just cost a few million or hundreds of thousands.

From stake's perspective, this is actually an investment to them and I guess they're raking the effect right now for that ad and partnership.

Do you think Drake will bring in more than $100 000 000 income during his sponsorship? I guess it is more about him bringing in respectability for the Brand.  Wink
He can and as well as the other brand ambassadors that they've signed.
