I have recently download the New wallet 2 days before the Hardfork. Is this the new version released in short span of time. And is this update is also mandatory ? Not mandatory. This is just cleaning up the interface mostly. |

old wallet still working for me and staking still showing good its stake at least twice a day even i only have small amount of cbx any info regarding with the wallet upgrade?

Version 2.4.0 update
We have found a glitch in the version 2.4.0 that causes errors when sending CBX to a given address;
do not use Vault 2.4.0 to send CBX - Vault 2.3.4 still works perfecty to send CBX at this time.
We will update to version 2.4.1 very soon.
Version 2.4.1 is available now, with this issue fixed.
is the old version will still work even the new one is already available? just thinking because my wallet still got good connection. Old one will work until the hard fork occurs so update before then please. |

There isn't a new wallet or anything that has to be downloaded for CBX lately is there?
We are working on 2.4.0 which will make CBX staking even more lucrative. Sorry I have been promising it for a long time; but it's coming. Stay tuned! Are you increasing the POS percentage? Yes and No. It was decided right at the beginning of CBX that inflation of CBX was to remain exactly at a healthy and low 2%, and we have never changed our stance about this since! We have noticed however, that since we put PoSP in place, the algorithm has been creating less CBX each day than the projected yearly 2% https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/#!overview. While it is nice to have low inflation, too low inflation also has the major disadvantage of reducing global interest in the coin, which is not helping CBX. So this tweak will bring the global inflation of CBX closer to 2%, while still not exceeding it. Also, since the creation of CBX, transfer fees (tx fees) have been destroyed, in an attempt to needlessly further control inflation. We recently have decided to distribute these tx fees instead, in an attempt to making the PoSP algorithm even more rewarding while not making CBX inflation go over the 2%. Thats good news for the holders.Any ETA of the new client? In one or two weeks I hope. I have been delayed by personnal problem and by issues on my test server so it took a bit more time than expected, sorry about that Good news Alex, thanks! Regarding the 50% profit from your CBX yearly , it is not my words , I just said what elambert said , why not ? That is better for all holders , this what elambert posted a few pages before , maybe I have misunderstood , if yes , please make it clear for me. Difficulty is extremely low! Right now you can stake and earn 50% per year interest on your CBX while inflation remains at 2% per year. This is PoSP at work, take advantage.
his meaning is while the yearly inflation will always be 2% max, PoSP stakers when the difficulty was low were staking with as little as 1 CBX inputs  so at the time they were getting more, eg if they stake 12 blocks they would have made 0.5CBX from the 1 CBX stake, after 25 blocks stake they would have made 1 CBX from their 1 CBX input, at low difficulty it was easier for small sized stakes to get a block more frequently , so they were effectively earning 50% or more annually on that block. Its just a calculation  Guys, at that particular time difficulty was so low (so few CBX being staked) that 50% yearly interest was the payout. PoSP operates on a sliding scale where the payout percentage adjusts according to how many CBX are staking at a particular time. That being said, CBX inflation will never change from the 2% per year that has been set in stone since inception, this is healthy. Payout will constantly change in accordance to how many CBX are being staked. Also, bootstrap is now updated on the website |

Hi guys, hope all are well. Ben, Alex and I continue to work hard on evolving CBX as we have for years now. We have some great accomplishments behind us and some big ones in the works now. It is easy to get frustrated by a declining price, believe me, we feel it too. We are large investors of not only our time, but also our finances. This is because we believe in the project and we believe in our abilities to achieve.

I watched the price moving down today , I hope you accelerate the new features realeasing because most of cryptocurrencies are moving up after Brexit result , and we can ride this wave if we made some promotion for the new features .
Most alts are also in Red including Lisk, ETH and DAO based on Polo and this is because of the recent spike in BTC price due to Brexit. Happy Friday! Any economic turmoil will have a net positive effect on crypto-currency. This will first be felt by Bitcoin and then spread out to alt coins. Interesting times happening right now and Brexit is just the beginning imo. Now CBX has phenomenal fundamentals. When compared to other alts or Bitcoin itself, CBX is a better solution. Energy efficiency, 3 year history, true decentralization, innovative algorithm, low inflation, fair reward for work structure, high security. CBX however is not 'known'. And that is on us as a community. We are now working on an upcoming hardfork as VonSpass has mentioned which will slightly adjust the PoSP payment to be closer to the true 2% yearly inflationary target and will also allow for the transaction fees to be split between the block winner and the CBX foundation rather than destroyed. Additionally to this, we will be applying our ideals and principals to the creation of a 2.0 blockchain platform. Similarly to how we have identified the weaknesses in Bitcoin and fixed them to become strengths with PoSP, we will do the same with crypto 2.0 tech. Exciting times up ahead and a lot of work to be done, but someone has to do this right. |

Hello LBX I admit the CBX staking algorithm needs too much RAM, we are trying to improve this but so far this is how PoSP works. well DAO and even ETH could out of the running now which would mean everything else moves up.  Good news for other altcoins like CBX. Let's push for higher ranking in poll DAO might be dead, but ETH will continue but severely tarnished of they do a rollback. VB must be in tears almost Now is the perfect time for us to do a campaign to push for CBX to people showing how great our PoSP is. What happened with DAO and ETH? I missed it... It is a very good time for Crypto-currency guys! Bitcoin is doing really well and paving the way. As people enter this market through the Bitcoin gateway, they start to explore and learn of alts. We have a very unique position with our original algorithm that provides energy efficiency (huge selling point) and true decentralization where any individual can actually participate in the network simply by having an internet connection, a computer and some CBX. The computer being the biggest investment need but due to our energy efficiency, something as inexpensive as a Pi device can be used instead.
