I used to mine bitcoin a lot. Now I've got a garage of dusty mining gear, and have gone all in on Masternode coins. Beats mining hands down! No gear to buy, no extra power to pay for. Here is some background info: https://www.investitin.com/masternode-list/ - and a new site that has launched that compares these coins is: https://masternodes.pro/Have a look and let me know what you think about these? CRAVE has privacy features, so does PIVX. PIVX will be one of the most private coins out there soon. More background info: https://www.investitin.com/masternode/

For $100 you could by an ArcticCoin master node, see https://masternodes.pro/ and make $32 worth per year. But if it goes up at all (I think all MN coins will do well when more people cotton on to them) then you'll easily get your money back and then some.

CRAVE has one of the smallest coin circulations around - currently only 1.38 Million coins with a 1 minute block time (so every 1 minute, 1 new CRAVE gets created). If scarcity is anything to go by it could go up 100x ... That would suit me just fine of course

Quite a few sub $500 masternodes can be found at https://masternodes.pro/ - Buy the required amount, setup the node and forget about it for a few months. Most of these coins will do very well because they let anyone make more of them while holding, and earning a passive income. No mining gear, no expensive energy bills. What's not to like ?

It depends on the features of the coin. Privacy coins will do better if there's some kind of clampdown, Masternode coins don't tend to sell off as much as other alts because long term investors are holding their capital in nodes to make more coins. And smart contract coins could score a big deal with a company or country which will boost their price.

PIVX is great, it's got a huge community and lots of devs working on privacy and mobile wallets. Def worth checking out before Zero Coin launches on main net.. it will at least double when that happens in my opinion.
|
|
|
Also check out masternode coins - if you're a long term holder what better way to maximise the returns of an investment than being able to make more coins while you're holding?? Top picks with other uses are CROWN and SYNX https://masternodes.pro/ - For a fast confirming 100% PoS privacy coin CRAVE is a great deal.

Yes more info please, that sounds like it's worth having a look into..

Looking sharp for both sites! Will there be an official non-freezing wallet soon? that would make the rebirth complete

@btct22 may I know how long to sync when you run the wallet for the first time? (I assume win/linux wallet) and how big is the blockchain data you've downloaded to fully sync it
My database folder for Bitsend is 400Mb, but it's been a long time since I first installed the wallet so I don't remember how long the sync took.

There also specialized summary sites that provide a good overview of certain sectors of the market. My go to site is https://masternodes.pro/ for daily stats because I think most of these coins have great potential once more people realize the possibility of true passive income from their crypto investments.

Your thoughts on masternode coins? Here's a good list: https://masternodes.pro/I'd be keen for your take on CRAVE (obviously ) and more risky ones like LINDA, Neutron and BitSend.

Don't forget to look into masternode coins for long term investing: https://masternodes.pro/ - have a look at the ROI for some of the cheaper nodes out there. The longer you hold on to the coin the more you end up with, therefore reducing the risk of holding it, and with a good chance for reasonable passive income from cryptos. CRAVE and LINDA are my favorites at the moment

Just signed up for the airdrop (first time ever for me to join in one) - very excited BSD is a great coin and the new wallet software one of the best I've used!

The difference between hot throne and hot/cold node is what? Hot Throne: All the coins are stored in a wallet stored on the throne disk? No second machine required for this setup? Hot/Cold Node: The throne itself has an empty wallet. The 10.000 CRW are stored on a second machine. Both need to run? What the benefit of each setup? My plan was more to use only one machine for the setup. So this would be a hot throne? I tried to follow all the discussions about setting thrones but I guess this will be much easier the moment you do it yourself. For the git repository, I guess the fix will be merged to master branch at some point? Maybe I should just wait some days until things are cleared and rebuild from source.
I think a Hot/Cold Node is better because you don't need to keep the controlling wallet open, and also running a masternode needs a static IP address. So if you get a cheap VPS you can have the node running 24/7 without risking your coins or needing to keep the PC with the controller wallet on all the time. Also with a VPS the firewall/IP setup is easier than getting into NAT routing on your home network.

hi guys, i downloaded the wallet for mac, since i opened, 3 hours ago, it is still syncinŽ is this normal?
Yes it can take a lot longer than that if you're syncing from the beginning. If you want to speed the process up you can download the PIVX blockchain from: http://chain.pivxstatus.com/

A other thing why a android wallet in google play store...what just dont sync??why i dont understand you people...can you make it work again and why isent it working annyway?
There's current no active development and even though TX is a very advanced coin and seems to be a template for a lot of other alts, things like the mobile app are getting a bit long in the tooth and need some TLC.

Lindacoin.com websites currently down, we are doing everything to restore it shortly.
Thank you
Well done for bring it back up quickly, it's a nice site. I saw under the Features of Linda section that it has encrypted messaging, but I can't see that option in my Windows wallet. Is that currently in development? Thanks.
