NEW PIVX WALLETS (MANDATORY UPDATE).

Please update your core PIVX wallets by August 21st, 2017.

v2.3.0.  (binaries will be posted today)

Get Ready.
Stay Private.

We all know what's coming Wink
Does this release include the official zero coin implementation? How do I make use of the zero coin implementation with the new wallet?

It says nothing about Zerocoin in the release notes, this sounds more like a preparation release to handle new message types etc.

Some problems with a masternode.

I successfully set up a masternode and got reward a couple of times in amount of 21.xxx coins.s
I had to restart computer and when I started masernode again it was not starting and found the mined amount turned to 7.xxx coins.
I sent 25k from mn wallet to same mn wallet then I could start it again.

I updated with newer version of wallet and but some reason I had to down load the blocks again since the moving the blocks from old wallet didn't stop resync'ing.

I could restart the mn without problem.

Then I had to restart the computer a couple of days later and I encountered the same problem.

Also I can see my mn from the list after starting it but I can't see it on the list after few hours.
Then I start it again and see it on the list.

Also the wallet is going unresponsive every 10 to 15 seconds?

I've had similar experiences with the wallet and masternode.

Yes, likewise, exactly the same issues as above here on Windows 10.  Came here looking for a new wallet version  Huh

So I have tried downloading the Linux wallet from the git page and the website. It won't open. It says that I do not have a program on the machine that handles .exe files. I let it find a program for me and it downloaded pypar2 which looks like some compressed file scanner. I found another guy having the same problem for a different wallet, and he right-clicked the file (so I would right-click Linda-qt) and go to properties. On the permissions tab he checked the "allow execution" checkbox and that took care of his problem. Unfortunately that still doesn't work. It creates another file in the same directory with a weird encrypted looking name that contains nothing. Trying to launch via terminal yields

Code:
-bash: ./Linda-qt: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

I'm running ubunto mate on my raspberry pi. I just setup a masternode last week for a different coin so I don't want to change it. My windows wallet works fine but I don't want to leave another computer on 24/7 to try and stake coins. I read that there is a program called "wine" for running exe programs on linux. But I believe that is more for windows executable's. I'm willing to give it a try, but I don't feel too confidant in it.

I also tried the no gui pi wallet but couldn't get that to work. And I tried the no gui linux wallet. Probably my problem is because I'm using a pi which doesn't have common architecture. Then the one "non-gui" wallet that is present is probably meant for the raspberian OS and not Ubunto Mate.

The binary will be likely be for the x86 architecture and raspberry is ARM, you'll likely need to compile the wallet code by pulling it from github and follow the build instructions https://github.com/Lindacoin/Linda/blob/master/doc/build-unix.md

How long should it take to transfer from the LINDA wallet to an exchange like coinexchange.io. Been waiting like 12 hours now roughly.

Exchange wallets seem to want 20 confirmations or so for Linda.

If this is taking longer than 15-20 minutes, then you're doing something wrong or your exchange is the problem.

Im using coin exchange.io . Went to LINDA , deposit LINDA. GIves you a deposit address copy and pasted that into the wallet where you send from and seems to just be lost no sign of it. Mistake is probably at my end unsure where iv went wrong though.  It says the transaction is unconfirmed in my wallet and the address matches the deposit address coinexchange.io gives me.

If it's still unconfirmed after all that time, maybe re-loading the blockchain would reset the state of the unconfirmed TX and allow you to resubmit it to the network?

Kl man ill try that, how do you reload the blockchain?

If you're on Windows, the location is: C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Roaming\Linda  - Close the wallet down, then move the "txleveldb" folder and "blk0001.dat" file to some other place, then re-start the wallet.  It should download the chain again and hopefully without your hanging TX.

Is everybody who has CRAVE MS aimed?
Do you have any expectations for the future of this coin itself?
Please let me know the reason.
(Of course I like MS, too)

Sorry what do you mean by MS?
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRAVE: Revival on: August 07, 2017, 02:02:49 PM
it is  not drop, it's only internet connection damage

Thanks, that's an impressive setup!  I'd be interested to know what you like most about Crave, is it a focus for you or are you diversified in other Alts as well?

My masternode wallet is putting out 8 - 10 rewards per day with random amounts from 21 Lindas to 82000 Lindas - and the staking wallet (running separately) is doing about 2 stakes a day with 1.3M Lindas in the wallet.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRAVE: Revival on: August 07, 2017, 05:37:46 AM

Who's the IP with the 100 Masternodes, they seem to come and go pretty regularly, from 445 MNs back to 319 is a pretty big drop?

Is anyone else having the problem of the masternode splitting the 30M input into pieces after a while?  Does anyone know a workaround to stop it from doing that?

Thanks Smiley

Mr mcAfee said he will eat his own member on live tv if this "real bitcoin" doesnt reach 500k in 3 years.

i don't think he can be trusted to find his own dick, let alone eat it, let alone choose the correct bitcoin to back.

Thanks for the update dev! Crown has a cool feature that "auto locks" in masternode coin deposits from coin control. This way you don't accidentally send a masternode deposit away when sending coins. Can also unlock it if you wish. Perhaps an idea for a future release down the road.

Crave have this option too but it disabled by default.
You can lock inputs by hand in advanced coin control or add mnconflock=1 in crave.conf file and masternode inputs will be locked automatically.

I tried this setting and it does lock the 500 Crave MN transactions which is very useful (I'd just blown up a MN by not picking the inputs), however it seemed to cause two problems as well: the "masternode outputs" command stops returning any results, and I couldn't start a node (could not allocate vin error).  When I reverted back to mnconflock=0 everything went back to normal.

Hi, one stupid question:

Ho do i configure this?
Now you can move your masternore reward to another address.

Edit your masternode.conf file.
I recommend to you generate new privatekey also when changing anything in masternode configuration.

What is the command for it? I remember something like command address percent.

Thabks

in debug console go: masternode genkey to create a new private key for a node.

I can see 15 masternodes here https://linda.masternodes.pro/ and it says that daily income is $579.25. I have to devide 579.25 by 15 to get how much one masternode earns per day, right?
Yes, correct.

Thank you.

That can't be right, otherwise you'd have to do the same with all the other coins on http://masternodes.pro/ ??
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRAVE: Revival on: August 02, 2017, 10:50:41 PM
why can't i send coins from my wallet? is there something different for this? i enter my password to send and nothing happen

Haven't tried myself on Crave, but seen this issue on a number of (pos) wallets. If it's already unlocked for staking, entering your pass to send does not work.
Workaround: Lock the wallet, Unlock fully, Send your coins, Lock, Unlock for staking

Hope it helps

Thanks this worked!

That's a good trick, I always thought it wasn't working because I'd left the debug window was open.  Thanks for the tip Smiley

Followed all the guides and keep getting an error when trying to start my mn. "could not allocate vin"

Tried unlocking wallet in debug twice, but still won't work. Any suggestions?

do a "masternode outputs" on the debug console and double check the index number is correct in the masternode.conf file (eg 0 or 1)

I think devo shold post every now and then to release some official news or updates?

They make updates on youtube, this is not the only place they be on.

Thanks, but at least they promoted the ICO here, and they should be posting and disseminating updates through this media too!

I agree, BTC Talk is superior to even Slack I think because you can find something that was said in the past.  In slack there's bugger all history and the search is crap.  Anyway..   Yes please more updates here Smiley
