301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin current range: $25K to $32K on: October 23, 2023, 09:39:01 PM
My vote is early December this year that it will broke out on this current range then will likely cool down until post-halving again. If the ETF will be approved I don't think we can see it all in the chart it will be off chart to see 35k or 40k ranges. I think this current run was because of the pre-approval of the ETF and I'm positive that it is getting approved next year.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 23, 2023, 09:19:03 PM
Spurs on the other hand had nothing and when Wemby came in the hype was so high that he suddenly became their superstar although we haven't seen him facing the real game, the playoffs. We are just using the preseason game as the basis and I think that's not enough to conclude this comparison.
Well, it's easy to conclude as well just because it's just a preseason but I think Wembanyama has lot of potential to still improve his performance. Yeah, it's still not the real deal and their current roster aren't that playoffs contender and I do hope this kid will be surrounded on those who will help him to achieve it. In my opinion, I think he needs to work with those muscle even if he had that IQ and height, a strong body core has still use on the court.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigeria socialite went all in on this sport bet on: October 21, 2023, 08:58:58 PM
Early hours of today,  one of the Nigeria billionaire business man E money shared his bet slip online for fans to see how much he splashed on the game between Chelsea vs Asernal which already on and Cheslea leading with 1:0, this brought me to the point of asking what your opinion on celebrities staking higher amount and still be ok to publicly show it and do not feel any thing even if the ticket cut just like what happened to Drake last few weeks back.

What is you view and analysis on this bet,  although I see that he be confident in his selections to have staked such an amount,  but since football is a game of unpredictability,  what then ks your views on this game even though the match is currently live.
Well, it's his bet and I think betting during live was much more effective considering you have already an idea about who plays and the tempo of the game. I think this public figure should be selective on what they post online considering it will be seen especially by underage individuals and they'll think it's just okay to bet.
304  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SPORTBETTING ADVICE ⚽️ on: October 21, 2023, 02:39:06 PM
I'm into basketball and whenever I saw what teams would be on a match I definitely look for the injury players and those who'll play the next game. This one is very tricky because some analyst sometimes don't confirm it fully and you'll be surprised that one player or two is already playing for that game specially in the last hours before the game. I'm also watching recent clips from the two teams and evaluate it for the upcoming game.

This is definitely a good list of advices and thank you for sharing it here, it really means a lot to someone that wanted to start small into sports betting.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No scam sportsbooks on: October 21, 2023, 09:27:03 AM
Does anyone know any bookmakers with a wide line that are not scams, it doesn?t matter whether it?s a crypto bookmaker or a regular bookmaker like bet365 alternative  ?
This is just what I recommend and I played on them already. Roobet, Rollbit, Duelbits, Stake, and Bitcasino. Now that I've given you the list, it's your turn to research on them if they're legit or not but there are way too many reviews to look up to on these casinos so you'll not scratch your head to look for them.
306  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War and conflict on: October 20, 2023, 09:59:17 PM
The continues war and conflict around the world is something to worry about ... human lives is nolonger nothing even innocent children are not speared
Properties are destroyed and the economy is getting worst by the day.
Will there ever be peace ?
A true peace globally? I think that's still far-fetched and I don't think we already achieve that as well considering the past great wars we can still see conflict and wars on other nations. I think these people are forgetting the lesson of the past wars, this is worrying now that nations upon nations has something up on their sleeves regarding weapon of mass destructions. There will never be peace, conflict will always be present.
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a 20% Annual Return good ? on: October 20, 2023, 09:37:01 PM
With my experience in the cryptocurrency market, I decided to develop a short-term Bitcoin spot trading strategy using the TradingView platform and its strategy programming tool. I managed to create a strategy that yields an average annual return of 20% according to backtesting. My question is, is this return acceptable, or in your opinion, what would be an acceptable or good return?
Oohh, if you think like a traditional player I think that's surely acceptable but psychologically we humans tend to want more than that. A bear market in crypto with 20% annual return is still low and for me it needs to be higher than that depending on what type of investment you venture or what coins you're holding, that's what matters to maximize a return.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 20, 2023, 04:10:44 PM
Share your tips and thoughts on staying responsible in this digital realm.
Don't put your eggs in one basket, diversify it especially your funds. Be mindful to have a hardware wallet if you own several cryptocurrencies. That's the basic tips if you have want to secure your funds in gambling but to be responsible is not something that's just being pass onto mouth, you need to put an effort on it as well.
Totally agree to it. Applying this on gambling alone will give a huge impact on how to handle self control. There’s some instances that people don’t care how much he is already betting whenever he already loss huge part of his total bankroll. Depositing all your money in the casino will gonna cost a lot when user encounter this kind of madness even though his total bankroll is still high.

I never deposit huge amount in casino because I’m scared that I will lose it all no matter what responsible I am in gambling. It’s very hard to control yourself when influenced by heat of the moment of gambling.
So do I, it's definitely risky considering it's still a centralized entity and who knows if they'll just maliciously drain your bankroll overnight and you haven't somehow know or you didn't print screen your balance. That's indeed possible especially if you're into a casino that isn't as secured or established.

310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Approval: Fueling Bullish Momentum? on: October 19, 2023, 09:31:57 PM
With the rumoured SEC's approval of a Bitcoin spot ETF, we've witnessed a bullish surge in its price, surpassing the 30k range before pulling back to consolidate for another potential run.

Considering this, is it safe to say that we're experiencing a historically bullish October? Additionally, which alts are you considering accumulating before the year's end? Let's dive into the world of alts together.☺️
As I've read on one article from theblock, Gary said that they are either to approve it one by one or do it in batch. I think that gives some speculations that a spot Bitcoin ETF will really be approved. I wonder how would the market would react if it were to be approved, not mega bullish but it could mean a thing or two for those traditional investors who wanted it. No, don't talk about alts in here, we have a specific altcoins discussion to talk about alts.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 19, 2023, 08:59:07 PM
James Harden is absent from training camp today and hasn’t been with the team since Sunday. It looks like he gave it a try but is now back to being on hiatus while trying to force his team’s hand and get him a trade to the Los Angeles Clippers. It seems like this has to happen before the season starts, so I’m expecting to hear something soon.

He is more likely serious about getting out from that team and he is legally doing everything he can to piss them off. I don't know where this drama will end, also the 76ers are not convinced to trade him and they are keeping him till now no matter how childish he acts these days. what could have been the reason why he made this kind of drama every time he wanted to get away from his responsibility?
I heard somewhere that talented people are also lazy. James Harden is also a name in this group. James Harden wants to leave the team, he does not attend the last practice, I wonder where this situation will go. I don't understand why the Philadelphia 76ers are still trying to keep him. I think this bond has been broken, what else can the club do to dispose of it somehow? It is obvious that James Harden's attitude is clear
This is like a deja vu of what happen on the same drama that initiated by Ben Simmons in the past and I think it will get the same result that Harden will be traded but not likely on the team he wants. Can't say if he's that lazy but I think that's not part of this getting-out-of Sixers drama, it's because he wanted to leave that he's likely keeping it real lazy just to deliver a message that it is a serious one.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: October 19, 2023, 08:10:07 PM
The Australian Government once said about abolishing gambling ads as a means of reducing gambling activities amongst underage people. But, I think they'll be no successful way of stopping young people from gambling. As it's in them. Most articles here also say things like gambling addiction being hereditary. That means gambling can be hereditary as well. Because I just watched from a distant two kids below 10 years, staking bets, after a long argument about who the artiste of a specific song is. They later staked close to 40 cents each, for the person who gets the answer right. Then they went ahead to verify. And I lost sight of them. I thought about, how come or who thought these kids about betting money during a long argument. I was able to memorize, back when I was a kid. We easily said, how much would you bet if it turns out I'm saying the truth; during an argument. It made me understand that, despite during those days we had no phones or access to the internet, gambling is somehow embedded to the brain of humans. Then, as a child, we weren't exposed to gambling. I could only remember of lotto, as a kid. But we still said things like "let's bet it"
It's being nurtured as well, it may not be directly being shown to them but somehow you won't be able to see this especially when they are out at home. Kids can easily imitate what their peers are doing or they somehow seen it from other adults outside.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: October 18, 2023, 09:45:47 PM
My list would be:

1) Hive - it's social media blockchain, forked from Steem. Feeless, able community, already does things which evm chains are 'trying to do'.

2) Osmo: IBC chains hub

3) Arb: Highest TPS in layer 2 evm chains.

4) Op: I find those coins trusted which give free money to the community. Op is one of those.

5) Ether: Considering everything else aside from btc is altcoin, ether is obvious choice. Easy 3-4x from current prices.
Thanks for your input, tbh these are really good coins and will research more on them. I think OP and ARB will easy 5 billion market cap in the bull run. HIVE and Osmo aren't new to me but haven't really dive onto them but I think they are getting some tractions on CT especially the past month while I was browsing twitter.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question for those who loose too frequently in gambling on: October 18, 2023, 09:06:10 PM
I have often wondered about the people who have lost a lot in gambling and who almost loose in every gambling activity they participate. What is their reason or motivation to continue even after so many losses?
For me, I think it's either to go breakeven of that loss or get back at it or you really want to win, other case is that it was a combination of it and passing the time. The motivation is to not lose the next time of course, that's like having a dopamine even if you're just getting lost after lost, psychology probably has explanation for it.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some gambling questions. on: October 18, 2023, 10:44:23 AM
How many percent of signature earnings you gamble away?
Likely 2%. Most of my earnings will go either to the daily needs and wants but most will come to trading from now on. Been accumulating it for almost two years now but with the looming bull run, it's best to trade it and make more earnings.

Do you prefer Fiat or crypto at a display currency?
For what reason? Whatever may comes I'll just accept it, every platform tend to have different default display.

What is your favorite game you play all the time?
Right now, not anymore with those luck base games, more onto sports betting.

What is your favorite casino platform?
Rollbit, Roobet and local online crypto casinos.

Are you a responsible gambler?
I think I am considering I don't loss too much in it.
316  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: October 18, 2023, 05:32:02 AM

317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which old coin do you prefer? Litecoin or Dogecoin? on: October 17, 2023, 07:05:40 PM
Among the good-old coins listed on the market today, which one do you prefer the most? Litecoin or Dogecoin? The former is often used for serious cross-border payments at a fraction of the cost, while the latter is used more for micropayments/tipping. Despite these differences, it's no secret that DOGE is faster and cheaper to use than LTC itself (Dogecoin's block time is lower than Litecoin's, while market prices are cheaper). I'd choose both as they're tried-and-tested blockchain networks with decentralization and security/reliability in mind.

What would be your pick? And why did you choose that coin in the first place? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
I think I'll pick DOGE considering it's way more popular than Litecoin and has way more room for development and it's likely backed by Elon (and I agree with what Xalolex said above). It's just a choice and I choose what could make a profit even more and that's DOGE. I have used DOGE more in the past compare to Litecoin and for me the ease of use will surely vary to every individuals, no doubt even if there's a poll it will be an easy win for DOGE.
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sad to see such manipulations in this market. on: October 17, 2023, 05:05:49 PM
I believe these manipulations made by a group of people or CEXs affect the inflow to the cryptocurrency. Small investors lost a lot of money yesterday on leverage or buying spot at top. I believe this is a %100 manipulation hence the ghost wick and BTC creating a short squeeze of 5K durin a war crisis. I also believe BTC will go back to 26.500 range soon. This type of moves create a media view of BTC as a scam and a manipulation device which the cex's or dex's who do manipulation will regret later. These are just my two cents.
I guess that cointelegraph said was true and they just hidden it by now, whoever posted that tweet might have been scolded or worst fired. Manipulation is present anywhere else and what more to just an emerging market? The market reacted simply and what more if that news was indeed true, it could be a parabolic run considering a lot of people are expecting as well that spot Bitcoin ETF especially in the US. I don't think that fake news was to see it as scam, it has long been know that manipulation and volatility around Bitcoin is always present considering it's not regulated fully.
Creating fake news and insider trading is a fraudalent behavior; not entitled to opinions unlike the poster who tried to turn the topic into my own life struggles; I won't be replying that type of posters from now on; If I did I would go as the same level of intelligence and humanity.
And if they were to be investigated for that fraudulent behavior then I'll be happy for that, but what I'm emphasizing is that these large players will continue to manipulate even not in this market. Not gonna comment on that but as I see it, they're just having their own opinions which may totally not matter if I may asked.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 17, 2023, 04:55:26 PM
I watched a little bit of the NBA basketball preseason in between watching the Monday Night Football game last night.  I can't believe that we are already at the pre-season mark for the NBA as well as the NHL having already starting.

I can't wait to see how the Chicago Bulls do coming out of the gate.  No Ball is still quite depressing and I hope he starts to make progress but I feel he may be done for good.
I just wait until the regular season to come as well as the in-season tournament and what might be excited to watch would be on West C and East B, (I've been doing some bets already even it's only the preseason). For West C we have that two 7 footers Victor and Chet and they are fun to watch even in their preseason match just recently, flexing how they dominate the court. For East B, I think it would be excited to watch Bucks and Heat. I wish he will recover, what a waste of a young rising star if he'll be gone for good tbh.
