301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Import private key vanitygen on: August 21, 2016, 03:40:51 PM
Hello everyone,
I'm a newbie and I just only use blockchain wallet (easy to sweep balance). But now this wallet not support import feature, legacy wallet have migrated to new wallet Sad. So now my btc stucked at vanity addresses. Please help me, which wallet have import private key feature? Give me a suggest.
Many appreciate. Thank you all.

You can still import private keys in the new blockchain.info wallet from Settings > Addresses > Import Address.
thank you for your answer but it don't work, watch-only address

What do you mean? You want to watch only or can't send? I just tried sending from imported address successfully.

Or I guess just ditch bc.i and try the wallets HTML6 suggested.
Bitcoin core, hardware wallets, electrum, mycelium, bread wallet. All of these are very easy to import your private key and you can just Google a guide on how to do so if you're having problems with it.
can i sweep balance?

You can using electrum.

Looks normal from here. Maybe it's your screen resolution?

-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
This is Quik321 from bitcointalk.org and today is August 18, 2016
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
3NfAuJsZBYi88o54tUcUZf76g4rw5KEDNc
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-------

where the signature ? it's not a valid signature, the valid signature must be like this
Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
message
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
bitcoin address
signature
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-------

now you are use multi sig address i think you can't do signature message, better you use blockchain address or new address from vanitygen

sorry i do t know how to get signed i already eduted my post just only for future purpose tnx

And you posted without knowing what it is? *sigh*
Oh well, there's a helpful guide by shorena here if you want to know about it.

306  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Account Bans on: August 19, 2016, 11:28:57 AM
Hello all! I am on this forum for long time but i don't know this!

Is there is a way to check how many bans account had? As i think i had ban on this account but i don't remember, so i would like to check...

There's none. Or at least that was the answer when someone asked the same question last year. I'm sure that's still true.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Please help me, problems with bitcoin wallet. on: August 19, 2016, 10:10:41 AM
Have you finished syncing? Your tx won't be broadcasted unless you have. < Turns out you can broadcast even without syncing, you just won't see the transaction until you catch up.

Edit:
I see you edited your post. If it's an unconfirmed transaction then it's likely that the fee is not enough. It sounds like you don't want to pay any fee so expect to see a lot of slow transactions that take days to confirm.
308  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How will I know how big my transaction fee will be in Electrum 2.6.4 ? on: August 18, 2016, 07:29:12 PM
Is it ok to adjust the fee to lower than .0005 btc? In my blockchain wallet the fee is lower than the .0005 btc that Electrum has by default. Will it affect the confirmation time if I change it to .0002 in Electrum?

Lowering it might affect the confirmation time. Can't say for sure because the fee needed for fast confirmation changes all the time, but right now https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ is recommending 80 satoshis/byte for fee. 0.0002/kb is roughly 20sat/byte.
309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain.info private keys and backup wallet pls help on: August 18, 2016, 01:16:48 PM
There's no interface to view the private keys of newly generated addresses, but there's some ways on getting them. Read this thread.

Note that if you're going to use dex1's method it's always recommended to enter your mnemonic OFFLINE. Just to be safe.
Ty for instucrion about private keys. But what about backup wallet.dat? How to do it?

Unfortunately, the feature to fully create a backup of your wallet (private keys) is also gone it seems. All you get for backup is your mnemonic phrase.

311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to move my appdata folder to another hard drive? on: August 13, 2016, 05:57:03 PM
i wouldn't have a clue where to start. maybe i should buy another hard drive.  Cheesy

1. Backup your wallet.dat.
2. Copy your Bitcoin folder somewhere else.
3. Start bitcoin core with -choosedatadir=1, and set it to the directory where you copied your Bitcoin folder to.
4. Wait for bitcoin core to reindex.
5. Restart core to see if anything went wrong just in case.
6. Done. You can delete the old files but it's always recommended to keep at least 1 copy of your data files in case of corruption (so you don't need to resync).

About #3. To do this on windows, use the run window (win+r shortcut) and enter
Code:
"X:\x\x\bitcoin-qt.exe" -choosedatadir=1

Change the Xs to where bitcoin-qt.exe is located.
or just view the properties of bitcoin-qt shortcut and add -choosedatadir=1 in the target box. But remember to remove it later or it'll ask you to choose datadir every time you open bitcoin-qt using that shortcut.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to move my appdata folder to another hard drive? on: August 13, 2016, 04:38:55 PM
i'm hoping to get back in to mining again, haven't for about 2 years. so my wallets are all behind and they're filling up a lot of space on my 120gig sshd which has windows on it.. i think bitcoin alone takes up 80gig. i also have a terabyte hard drive in my pc.

is it possible to transfer the folder or does it have to be in the hard drive that windows is installed on.    Huh

thanks.

At least for bitcoin blockchain files, you can move them anywhere you like. But you have to configure the software to read the files from the new directory instead of the old one under appdata.
313  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Legacy wallet gone ? on: August 13, 2016, 04:26:28 PM
The link i posted should still take you to the old login page but when you login it redirects you to the new wallet.

Regarding signing a message i know 100% that this can be done because I just did it about an hour ago now.
It not easy to find and i think was only added as an update on 2/5/16 , once found its just as easy to sign a message as the old legacy wallet was.

Cant remember exactly but if you follow this you will work it out.
Go to "addresses" on the left of the page then select "manage addresses" select the address you want to sign a click on "more options" to the right of the address, then just sign the message you want in the box that appears.

That option is only available for imported addresses. Your address from legacy are imported to the new wallet (you can see that they're in "Imported addresses" account) so you're able to sign with them. But there's no such option for the newly generated addresses (I tried).

Anyway, OP. It doesn't look like you have any choice if you want to use your wallet again.
314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: August 13, 2016, 10:48:31 AM
@shorena

There's another (easier) way to get the private keys in blockchain.info new wallet using https://dcpos.github.io/bip39/. It was posted here. I think running it offline should be safe enough.
315  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info on: August 13, 2016, 10:40:35 AM

There are also these instructions.

^ Works like a charm. This one is easier too.
I see now why it doesn't work with bip32.org.
316  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Legacy wallet gone ? on: August 13, 2016, 10:30:27 AM
Did they fully remove the Legacy login from the website ?

Looks like it. IIRC users get a message when they tried to log in to the new wallet while still using legacy wallet. Now my legacy wallet just got upgraded right after I click login.
317  Other / Meta / Re: Alt Account hacked, email changed. on: August 13, 2016, 01:54:49 AM
I haven't posted any addresses...why would I post a public address? And since I no longer have access to my PMs, I don't know what addresses I used there. So yeah, it is a lot. Also my email has F2A, so probably less likely to be breached than my private keys.
https://blockchain.info/address/1EQ9KgSKx11kev4CtZYVdPR4hJGFcM7xxX
What about this address?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=750723.msg11074738#msg11074738

Or this one?

I think he's talking about his alt wormat22. Which just got caught faking a trade from some months ago.
318  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please HELP!!!The lost bitcoins on: August 13, 2016, 01:47:18 AM
--snipped some badly formatted text--
I have just one question:how to determine which site might be relevant to this bitcoin wallet in which the money went?Where such data can be find and see?
--snip--

Such data are impossible to be found because the address 14zpdrA1dh44AW1yXX2dx5PBiQojVyy4s6 doesn't have anything that links it to other sites (except the one that came from your localbitcoin wallet).
319  Other / Meta / Re: Alt Account hacked, email changed. on: August 12, 2016, 10:56:36 PM
There's a sticky in meta board for recovering account. Follow the instructions there.
320  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hm on: August 12, 2016, 10:44:02 PM
Another one?  Tongue
Just stop using bc.i, folks.

You can't sign with newly generated addresses. See my post here for a workaround.

Edit:
Easier way to get the PKs here. You can import the PKs and sign a message with it.
