301  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: July 13, 2012, 03:33:21 AM
Switching to the dev branch didn't work, but I'm not really sure if it actually downloaded it either. (my linux knowledge is still fairly limited) However I found some of the comments on github https://github.com/etotheipi/BitcoinArmory/issues/6, switched the .a to .so, and now it works. Smiley Thanks!

make sure you use the git command:

Code:
git fetch --all

before switching branches.

Is it the same as the one on github? (for non-Windows users)

Yes. This is the same as the one on my GitHub...

https://github.com/da2ce7/Moneychanger

FellowTraveler hasn't merged my changes yet.

I assume your friend copied and pasted the address exactly, and did not accidentally include any spaces?

It should strip any spaces in the address.

Diablo, next time he tries to get BTC out of you, tell him that you are willing to 'middle' the sale of a great website/project that he might be interested in...

Utility.getImagePath():  File does not exist: (OT_MAIN_PATH)/moneychanger/settin
gs.dat

You didn't set a "Password Image" on the Settings Window.

Edit:
The "Password Image" is any image file that you want.  It is shown when a password dialogue is shown... In the future it will be in an encrypted data file on your computer...

313  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open Transactions and Moneychanger on: June 20, 2012, 11:56:55 AM
In that case:

C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\OpenTransactions\client_data\

You will need to get the new version of the User Data in my OP.  As I found a bug in the old version.
314  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Unofficial Open Transactions and Moneychanger Builds (Updated 20th June 2012) on: June 20, 2012, 11:18:01 AM
You didn't copy over the user data.  See the OP.  It needs to be copied into the AppData/Roaming folder.

see: inside the user_data folder... There is a "server_data" folder... Copy that folder into the root of /roaming/OpenTransactions

Hmm.... I really need to make a pictured install guide...

Big Update!  Cheesy  Smiley  Cheesy  Smiley  Cheesy

1.  Cash now works on windows!  (don't ask me how many bugs had to be squashed to get this working!!!)...

2.  Configuration Files are auto-generated (you still need to copy over the user-data... however that now only includes the wallet and contract files).

3.  Heaps of bug-fixes and work on scripting.... ot prompt is now included in this package.

4.  Heaps of Upstream work from FellowTraveler!   My branch has been rebased against FT's master.  Smiley

Overall, please test.... I think that we have got to the stage where it can almost be used for demonstration purposes! Smiley
