301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the future on: August 04, 2017, 07:26:08 AM
Do you think friends, in which year Bitcoin will completely absorb all the finances of the planet's system?BTC

Well even though Bitcoin introduced some revolutionary new technology called the blockchain, I don't think that at the state of Bitcoin right now, I don't think that Bitcoin will be a suitable replacement for everyday fiat currencies, maybe in 2 or 3 years sure, but even with not many people using Bitcoin, the blockchain has become super congested and with the whole world using Bitcoin, I don't think the blockchain will function well.

Maybe after some changes to the blockchain and making Bitcoin more popular and available we will see a possibility of this happening.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn more BTC?? on: August 03, 2017, 11:39:21 AM
Firstly, wouldn't recommend farming faucets, they pay barely anything and they aren't worth the time.
Here are some ways to earn Bitcoin that pays more and are less time consuming:
-Level up your account and then enroll in signature campaigns, if you find a good one you could earn up to 0.03 a week, which is better than farming faucets.
- Freelance, for example, write 1000 words for 10 dollars in bitcoin.
- Offer your skills.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: August 03, 2017, 07:45:07 AM
After there is a BCC can the bitcoin survive or bitcoin will be much more up the price after this
What do you think about this?

After the hard fork and events leading up to August the first, it only shows how powerful the community behind Bitcoin is. Bitcoin cash is just an altcoin and it doesn't seem to affect Bitcoin at all. What people thought about Bitcoin cash and how it would just force everyone to hop of Bitcoin and hop on Bitcoin cash was wrong. Bitcoin has also recieved heaps of attention recently so that adds to it.

Seems like Bitcoin will be surviving for a long time, until better technology is introduced.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin split on: August 03, 2017, 06:55:52 AM
is there anything happen ??

from where we can get the true real time  news?

Thanks

It has happened now, but like what most people said, it was nothing important and 12 hours after the event the price of Bitcoin has barely changed. It wasn’t anything to worry about and people just overhyped it with FUD and clickbait threads like “August the first will be the end of bitcoin”

Remember people Bitcoin cash is an alt coin just with the name of Bitcoin, nothing happened when altcoins get released so why would anything happen when Bitcoin cash gets released. Claim your free BCC and get along with your life.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Value and the Relationship between BTC and BCH on: August 03, 2017, 12:56:46 AM
I don’t think that a lot of people realise this, but at the end of the day Bitcoin cash is just an alt coin that has the same name of Bitcoin. I think a lot of the newbies to bitcoin will jump at this chance but the veterans or the people who have invested in Bitcoin from step one will not mind too much about Bitcoin Cash.

Bitcoin cash also raises another problem to the decentralisation of Bitcoin since Bitcoin cash is managed by a small group of people therefore making it centralised and also making it oppose what makes Bitcoin special, which is that it gives people the freedom of spending.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to Buy a Car with Bitcoin without convert my bitcoin to Fiat. on: August 02, 2017, 04:22:49 AM
i am trying to buy a car with my bitcoin without convert my bitcoin to Fiat if its possible suggest me any idea.

Sure thing, that is super easy. If you find someone who will accept bitcoin for a car and preferably within 2 hours driving distance between you so there won't be any chance of getting scammed. I would recommend you just convert your bitcoin to Fiat currencies via something like Local Bitcoins and that would be easier to buy something big like a car now.

Right now Bitcoin can't be used for these real life transactions, it is mostly a virtual currency.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I make sure to not lose $ value in BTC? on: July 25, 2017, 09:40:35 AM
Simple, just sell your bitcoin for normal fiat currency when the price is high. A good time to sell would have been 3 or 4 days ago since the price was at 2750 USD, but now it has dropped a hundred due to August first speculation and FUD. When August the first is finished, I would recommend you to sell at least 60 percent of your Bitcoin, so you have that money. Then just hold the other 40 percent and think of it as an investment.

After you accumulate more Bitcoin from freelancing, you can start investing more, and maybe even get into trading, although trade at your own risk.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 25, 2017, 08:53:52 AM
Compared to new ICOs, and new alt coins, Bitcoin is old technology. There are newer cryptocurrencies that have better tech and faster transaction times, and better features. Although Bitcoin might have some problems with a congested blockchain and a bigger fee for transaction now. Bitcoin won't last forever, that is for sure, but for 20-30 years, I think that Bitcoin could survive that long. I don't think that fiat currencies will over take Bitcoin but instead, other altcoins or icos would overtake Bitcoin.

A lot of countries have legalized Bitcoin these days, and it seems like every week a new country is hopping on the bandwagon. This week it was South Korea, and last week it was India. Bitcoin may be going mainstream soon.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: Signature campaign as my job? on: July 24, 2017, 11:55:58 AM
Not full time for sure, but maybe as a part time thing. The best payouts here are something like 100 USD for 50 or so posts, and 100 USD a week wouldn't be that bad for a student. 100, would be enough to cover all your bills, or maybe all of your food.

I wouldn't recommend doing signature campaigns as a job since you would be able to earn so much more money, in the real world by just getting a real job. Signature campaigns are meant to be a reward for posting, not really meant to be a job.
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: when is the good time to sell my bitcoin ? on: July 24, 2017, 08:20:32 AM
when is the good time to sell my bitcoin ?any guide to find  ?

Well, the obvious answer for this would be just to sell Bitcoin when you know you will make a profit. The problem is, you never know when you will ever make a profit. This is a risk with this investment. Who is to say that 5 years from here, bitcoin won't hit 10,000 and you just sold Bitcoin for 3.

I would recommend splitting your funds, say 50 percent to hold forever, 50 percent for trading and that way, you will never lose it all, if Bitcoin does flop and all of our money goes down the drain.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: July 24, 2017, 08:08:07 AM
No need to worry, Bitcoin is pretty much famous for how volatile it is, and how rapidly the prices drop and go up. A lot of the people who are interested in Bitcoin are because of how volatile it is. Bitcoin is also decentralized which is what makes Bitcoin so volatile.

You could actually try to use this to your advantage and a chance to stock up your Bitcoin, when Bitcoin hit 2K, a lot of people bought Bitcoin and then the price of Bitcoin recovered and now we are at 2.7K.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Officially Legalizes Bitcoin, Huge Market For Traders on: July 24, 2017, 07:52:43 AM
LOL, South Korea is the good one. Guess the floodgates have opened, China, Australia, Japan, India and now South Korea. South Korea is one of the biggest technology providers and it is certainly no surprise that they have also started accepting Bitcoin. I could imagine some really nice technology that South Korea could make with Bitcoin.

It is happening, Bitcoin is coming mainstream!
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: it seems panic is stop. time to invest everything. on: July 21, 2017, 11:21:39 AM
it seems panic is stop. time to invest everything.

Graph is keep increase.
I will withdraw 3000$ and buy now. I do not think it will fall again even if 1 August.

anyone else think like me or not?

Guess it is a bit too late now. I think investing is a good idea but I do disagree with the everything part. I wouldn't recommend investing all that you got. Diversify your portfolio and only then will you be less risky. Only invest what you are willing to lose since there might be a chance of you losing your money due to a freak accident, another benefit from diversifying your portfolio.

Prices have stablished so I don't think there will be a drop in price anytime soon. There will be no more chance for cheap bitcoin anytime soon it seems.
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Worth investing as a student? on: July 21, 2017, 11:03:21 AM
Sure, any investment in bitcoin would be good since bitcoin has the ability to rise and fall in price. Just keep this in mind, don't think of bitcoin as a get rich fast method or free money, if it was like that pretty sure everyone would invest in it. Instead learn about bitcoin and from your knowledge you will be able to know when to buy bitcoin and when to sell.

Here are some tips when entering the crypto world and investing

1. Do not listen to any FUD about how bitcoin will die, they are just false rumours.
2. Only invest what you are able to lose.
3. Do not panic sell.
4. Consider selling portions of your bitcoin when the price is high and then re buying bitcoin at a lower price.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: stable currency on: July 21, 2017, 10:34:39 AM
Well why do want bitcoin to be stable. If you want a centralized and stable option invest in ethereum since that coin is super stable. You are talking about changing one of the most important aspects of bitcoin.

Right now it isn't possible for bitcoin to become stable since it constantly  fluctuates.

About the dark net, unless the entire thing gets shut down it won't have much of an effect on the price of bitcoin.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach $3,000 Next Week? on: July 21, 2017, 08:56:12 AM
Definitely does seem possible since the price of bitcoin just rose by at least 500 overnight. The prices seem to have stabilished now and it has been around 2.8K for around 12 hours now. Bitcoin doesn't seem to be rising anymore, and if anything, bitcoin dropped 50 in the last 3 or 4 hours. Maybe bitcoin might go back to 2K and hang around there until August the First.

The market is super hard to predict these days, especially due to the hard fork. Bitcoin dropped 1K in a day, then after 2 days, climbed back up and stablised itself and now bitcoin is slowing falling.

I hope the best for bitcoin.
317  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Antminerbitcoin.com is a scam site on: July 21, 2017, 08:10:30 AM
Thanks for the notice, I am looking for a cheap miner and you knocked a scam website away from me. It certainly does look well made, and looks copied. Would you be kind enough to provide me a link to the site that the website that it copied?

The prices are also pretty dodgy and that is another sign that something isn't right. I like how they made the prices low, but not know enough for people to think that it would be a scam.

The logo of the site that is on the google chrome tab is also blank, and if the site was well established and legitimate, it wouldn't be like that.

Anyway, thanks for the advice.

318  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning !!! BTC-e selectively scamming me on: July 21, 2017, 08:04:34 AM
Hello everyone,

I made an account on https://btc-e.com/ back in 2014 and deposited a bunch of LTE Litecoins on my account. I said to myself to not touch my account for 3 years, those 3 years are done and in the meantime my account has been suspended for inactivity.

I signed up before September 10, 2015 which means I did not agreed to any inactivity period listed on their terms of use: https://web.archive.org/web/20150910111027/https://btc-e.com/page/1

At first it sounded very promising, BTC-e referred me to their website where it said I had to verify with www.xbtce.com and after verification my account would be automatically unblocked within 10 days.

4. The account is blocked according to BTC-e Terms of Use https://btc-e.com/page/1 p. - 9.10.
4.1. Go to https://www.xbtce.com.
4.2. Create an account and complete the verification process, providing all required documents. Our staff will review your documents and your account will be verified. For more information about the verification process, refer to https://support.xbtce.info/Knowledgebase/Article/View/77/30/3-procedura-verifikacii-ewallet.
4.3. Your btc-e.com account will be verified automatically within 1 day after receiving the verified status on xbtce
4.4. Within 10 days, your inactive btc-e account will be unblocked.

It has been 13 days and I am still suspended. as of Thursday the 13th of July.  I have send a support ticket every single day to BTC-e since my verification on xbtce.

Out of the 13 tickets I have send so far I have received only 3 times a response to 1 ticket, all other 12 tickets are left unanswered.

The responses I have received are:

1) Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting BTC-e. Send the screen of the purse from which the deposit was sent. I received 2 Times, this exact same answer.
2) Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting BTC-e. Write the bank account number for which you have raised funds in 2015.

These responses are ridiculous, first of all my history on my other BTC-e account from where I made the deposit is completely clear so there is nothing to see. Secondly, I did not raised funds in 2015 because I not touched my account since 2014. Also, I find it unacceptable how short and somewhat rude these responses are. There is no concern for the customer through the BTC-e support service.

The following is what in general my support ticket mails look like:(Ticket from Tuesday the 11th of July)
Dear Sir/Madam,

Today I have been waiting 11 days after I got verified by xbtce and BTC-e still not unblock my account.

The story:
You guys tell me within 10 day, my account will be unblocked. Today is already the 9th day!! Why you guys play with me? Just unblock my account.
I have ALREADY verified my account through xbtce.
The terms say that after verifying with xbtce that: ''Within 10 days, your inactive BTC-e account will be unblocked.'' It has been 11 days already!
2 Times I received a response saying: ''Send the screen of the purse from which the deposit was sent '' This makes NO sense.  I have also receive a response ‘’Write your bank account number for which you raised funds in 2015’’
Please stop playing with me, please unblock my account. I have done what needed to be done. I have followed your BTC-e Terms of use p. 9.10.
I have already send 11 support tickets, 1 every day, since my verification 11 days ago on xbtce. I have not yet received any clear response, and whenever I try to login on my BTC-e account with the same email address it still says that I am suspended.
Could you please clarify, why I am still suspended, and how long it will take before I am allowed to access my (acount name hidden) on BTC-e?
Thanks in advance.

With kind regards,
(real name hidden)

I have been very reasonable and I have been playing by their rules, however they keep ignoring my support tickets except for 1 ticket to which its responses were ridiculous.
I have read on several occasions that in order for them to unblock your account that one needs to do some online slandering and accuse them of scamming on as many online platforms as possible.

BTC-e has been not helpful at all to unblock my account.

If anyone has any more suggestion I would be very keen to hear them.

Thank you all in advance.

That is pretty sad, they don't have a bitcointalk account so you can't contact them via that. Maybe try tweet at them or try to contact them through other means, but I doubt you will be getting your LTE back. How much did you have?

If you had a bunch, maybe threaten them with legal action, but if it isn't that big of an amount, it probably won't be worth the time, effort or money. Sometimes you just gotta just take a hit and keep on moving.

Maybe next time use something safer to store your altcoins and you won't be scammed anymore.
319  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware betcoin.ag scammed me today june 25 2016 on: July 21, 2017, 07:56:44 AM
beware using betcoin.ag

today i played poker, i used 2/2 table when i get in and start to play. the cards favor in me but the pot goes to them., note its not the player who played you in poker, its them who played you. stealing your money.

i was planning to deposit new bitcoin again when i notice something wrong with game. i win the card with three of a kind of Queen while his only three of a kind of 8 , how come pots goes to him.

i all in all my money because im sure my hand are good.

when i check history, they disconnect me and said technical problem on the system and need to close table.

stay away from betcoin.ag they are total scammer.
Well, firstly you are posting this on a newbie account with no proof at all. Please submit this in a correct format, the format can be found pinned to this board. Then people will be able to understand you easier and you might have a chance for convincing some people.

What I think really happened was that you deposited some funds on bitcoin.ag and then went on a huge losing streak and then lost all your funds. Now you are mad and trying to ruin the site's reputation due to your misfortune.

Please don't try ruining a site's reputation because you lost a bit of money in gambling.

Don't gamble what you can't afford to lose.
320  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to do a signature campaign - Must have positive trust rating on: July 21, 2017, 07:36:15 AM
Hi,

I am looking for someone with previous experience in doing a signature campaign and managing a thread.
Must be a senior member or higher with positive trust rating.

Thank you!

For signature management service, I would recommend a couple of the big ones out there like Darkstar, Lutpin, Yahoo and Lauda. Lutpin and Lauda are always super strict and will make sure that their won't be spammers or people with bad post quality in your campaign. Yahoo and Darkstar are the more relaxed kind, and I can personally vouch for Darkstar since he is always super helpful and runs a tight ship.

Also, don't hesitate to take up some of the new campaign managers, since their rates are usually less than the big ones out there.
