Should we look into implementing a GPUC multipool?
This is Vertcoin algo, this scamcoin have no innovation at all. You need to look at how the coins been utilised. These are more important factors when choosing a coin to invest in. |

most miners like me are mining other coins right now because lite coin is paying double this week so i can mine ltc and buy way more gpuc than mining it straight.
Is that on any pool or just one in particular that is paying double. |

When is block reward going down? And to what? There are too many coins being produced to have a good market value. Front page doesn't mention block reward other than initial??
There is not too many coins being produced. Its just that there are not enough people mining due to the exchange rate at present. Once the store is opened, the price will rise die to higher demand on buying coins for gpus. |

Ok I downloaded vertminer and it just closes when I launch it. Can somebody give me a sample command line

The miner shows 1100kh/s average, but in the pool I don't go over 300kh/s. Why is that ? Usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes for the pool to get your average. the average you get in the miner is correct. I have contacted BitcoinGirl and Coindesk and informed them about GPU coin. I can see no one from the community really interested into putting some efforts into marketing and development. I also PMd the CEO and emailed him. He said he is willing to hire marketing guys. Well, what if I officially require to be one of them?
I see no answer from him and no organisation regarding this here.
I am with you if you need assistance. i will send an email.. I have some marketing background. I also know a top marketer. Which will not be interested in a job like this but i have picked up a couple of tips. We can focus on social media, twitter facebook accounts, websites that are connected to cryptos, news sites etc.. Also some more details about the owner in a review of the coin along with some photos etc. A snippet of the store front would do some good. As this is generally the first part that is designed before programming takes place. Any other suggestions we can get to work on.. I do feel that the dumping will happen as the CEO dumps coins. he will probably be dumping coins now to raise funds. So we will expect a slow start at first. This is a long term investment not some pump and dump coin. Remember that people.. |

Hopefully someone might have an easy fix for this!
Been mining GPU Coin since its release, R9 290 x 4 with no problems on Windows 7. Hashing at 450 per card. Went to install a 5th card so decided to use Windows 8 to avoid problems recognizing more than 4 cards. Miner starts fine but within an hour cards start showing up DEAD or SICK! Same settings as in Windows 7 which had no problems for days!
Any ideas?

Some of the biggest problems faced with gpus, is the manufacture changes of the GPU's i hope this has been taken into consideration.
That's very good, i only get 336 on r9 290 what settings are you using?

This promo may be why miners are going to be gone for a week.
Ghash didn't expect all the multipools to jump on their promo,
so the tiered reduction was "needed" to prevent 51% attack, lol.
They should have just honored their offer and not allowed new sign ups,
but it seems that whales and multipools are just mining when <40GH/s
and then switching back and forth for the week. I haven't mined
litecoin in a long time and have nothing in my wallet, so I am going
to take advantage of the 200% bonus, even if it dips to 125% every now
and then.
What bonus are you referring to with litecoins. |

So a little dark in the background and phone not the best. lol The vid is a little outdated not i am currently hashing at around 769kh/s per card max intensity 20 but i like to run them on intensity 18/19 for reliability and fans are not pulling too many watts from its source. They are using pfc power supplies and would like to upgrade later to include pfc for all my outlets to save money, there is a company that is starting to manufacture rigs with HHO this sounds interesting, may look to invest in their business if this is an option.. And the xfx 7970 is hashing around 556kh/s peak but on its own will hash 600kh/s scrypt and an extra 100kh/s sha256 With vert miner i get around 337kh/s per card for the gigabytes and 205kh/s for the xfx 7970 I use the same setting as vert and all other algorithms. No changes are made apart form Intensity settings to 13,14,14,14 runs perfect.. No crashing. No HW errors, low stales. and all running from Wifi nearly 100 mtrs from the router. |

The coin value will not grow fast. As this will be a gradual process. why you ask.. Because if the miners leave to mine other coins and only purchase form the exchange to get hold of a GPU. then there will be less miners mining the coin.
Which will eventually push up the price of the coins. Then the miners will return back to mining and then the cycle will continue. So there will always be ups and downs. As more and more people hear about people getting GPU's the rush to buy coins will start all over again.
So don't worry, the coin will sort itself out, and right now this welcomed break is relief i am sure for the director, James.. To get ahead.
