301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What coins do you like to trade the most? on: January 15, 2019, 07:10:50 PM
Personally I focus on ETH and bitcoin only because when coin that reach top 5 in coincapmarket have massive capitalization market.
It means that the chance of getting pump or dump are difficult compare with lower amount of total capt.market

So far I made great profit !
That must be a good strategy for choosing the coins for trading. Even I am also following coinmarketcap, usually I just filter out the heavily circulating and unlimited supply based coins. Also, I am going for up to top 50 coins in that listing. Even I am not an active trader, I just want to make sure not making any big mistakes out of hurry. When we will be studying more, the idea we will be getting is always helpful one for most market situations.

I do trade this way digibyte in bitterx. I got knowing about this coin after bittrex's feature of showing high volume coin on top. I am not recommending it to this community but just stating how I am choosing by making sure that I am sticking with fundamentals of crypto space.
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short now = make lots of money? on: January 15, 2019, 06:13:24 PM
Short trade now good profitable if you have minimum 1 BTC plus. Without good investment you will not get enough/good profit. I think at this time 1 BTC is good for getting profitable money by short trading. Trading is powerful if had proper knowledge.
Why do we need minimum 1BTC for shorting ? Are you talking about leveraged trading ? I never suggest such a thing because it is purely gambling as you will be thrown out of trading when the direction of market will be going against you even just for a short duration too. Most probably market is at it bottom right now, hence sorting now is not at all recommended unless otherwise bitcoin will be breaking and holding below $3000 levels.

Shorting is not an easy thing, it can get real bad and you might lose a great part of initial capital. Shorting at this point is not really advisable, the market is just sinking and no good signs of a reversal.
When there is no sign of reversal then shorting is a good way to make money ? I did not get your point. Market had already sunk a lot hence it may go sinking further or will make a reversal. Need to wait for some more time to get clear idea on where market is heading.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: January 15, 2019, 06:11:55 AM
In my opinion it really needs management in trading both risk, information, strategy and analysis because we need it all so we are sure about what we will trade.
Yes, effective management of money and risk may lead to success in trading. Timely decision making is more important while trading because market will wait for none. We should decide well in advance where to book profits and where to put stop-loss. If we do not know manage money, risk and time then it must be good to stay away from the markets. Because, it would be much better not trying trading like a gambler.

I am prepared to all of the unexpected situation that I will experience because I always recalling that there are really times that I cannot win in trading.
This is how our experience will safe guard us. We must make use of our past incidents to find out when to trade and when to stay away. But, most traders are failing to distinguish hard and smooth markets and then losing their capital which leads to miss out the right and easy opportunities.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: January 14, 2019, 08:32:16 PM
This thread is sounding like just another discussion on superstition based gambling. Even gambling is based on luck, we cannot win by believing into God nor into superstitions. Because luck factor is beyond the reach of anything like that. It may happen on its own and may not happen too. No control over it absolutely.

OP is sounding like wishing all the gamblers here but not sure how about his experiences with gambling in 2018. I mean to say what makes him to go this much generous to all the gamblers. Probably he is in planning to start a gambling house so that he is wishing like this. I'm just kidding because this must be another unique discussion to have here.

If there is a God of luck then must bless OP too for a prosperous 2019 Grin.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 14, 2019, 07:47:19 PM
I think friends and family will be a great help for anyone addicted in gambling who wants to quit for good. And add some activites that will take much of your time like sports or getting far away to those places where he can access a casino again. And the best part is to pray to God so you'll recover easily.
Yes, love and affection are always known for bringing miracles to our life. Hence, it will help even for getting rid off gambling addictions. External helps are always having good impact on making gamblers to get rid of their addiction but unfortunately most gamblers are not at all preferring to open about their gambling addiction to their family members.

if you are doing gambling if you want to leave then leave slowly slowly it will be the right way for a gambler to get out from gambling.
This must be a working way only before you get addicted because after got addicted to gambling, you will never able to control yourself and leaving off gambling slowly will not be possible. If you think about slowly leaving off then you will go for more intensive gambling and more frequently too.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where we are now with Gambling on: January 14, 2019, 07:05:57 PM
Since the creation of smartphones gambling is now 24/7, 365 days a year
Its so easy and convenient anyone can get involved and everyone is
targeted.
Smartphone gambling must be a second generation of modern gambling but the fate of physical casinos was decided by the first generation itself and that began when online casinos were becoming famous. Gamblers started gambling within their home at their convenient timing and without needing to travel long. Both mobile and desktop based gambling got big boost when crypto payments were adopted by gambling houses which might have happened in less than 6 to 8 years.

We are now into "gamble at wish anywhere yet anonymously" kind of era with help of smartphones with high speed data services and crypto payment options to ensure security and privacy.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My 2 cents on: January 14, 2019, 04:03:05 PM
I had a similar story while I was engaged as well, thankfully it wasn't that much of amount and thankfully I didn't needed the money since it was earned rather than bought so I felt not that bad about it but it really helps you get your life together.

When you lose a big amount of money in gambling that becomes your wake up call, there is always this moment where you lose all of your money and you have no more money to actually follow the loss and you have to give a break not because you are smart and that is the right thing to do but because you lost all your money and even if you want to continue chasing the loss there is no money to chase the loss anyway so you stop involuntarily. That stop because of a huge loss is the moment almost all addicted gamblers actually have time to clear their thoughts and stop gambling.
308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Numerous altcoins and tokens also a reason for bitcoin's downfall ? on: January 13, 2019, 02:10:34 PM
There will be a sort of regulations on ICO's in the future. Even if not in a legal sense (which could be still possible) there will be self-regulatory stuff. Investors will take a look at any ICO that comes out in a much stricter ways from now on. There was over a billion dollars a month invested into new coins coming up early in 2018 whereas there is barely 300 million right now, that number keeps going down all the time and not because some coins are underfunded, some coins are still getting funded whereas some are not getting any funds at all, that is the difference now.

People do care about where their money goes and they check the ICO much more carefully, they check who is making the coin, the team, the roadmap, the features and everything in between and invest accordingly, so even though there is no legal regulations for now, people are smarter about investing.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down on: January 13, 2019, 07:55:03 AM
Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down
Technically there are a lot of other factors which are pushing bitcoin down. Some of them are,

1. Popularity of stablecoins gives people the capability of "shorting way of trading". With the help of a stablecoin (like tether), you can virtually sell bitcoins first to buy it later.

2. There is a study which reveals that exchanges and web wallet services are misusing our bitcoin holding with them to short bitcoin markets to gain their own benefits.

3. Thousands of altcoins and ICO based tokens had attracted investors who were basically meant for bitcoin investments but they decided to try their luck with some other coin rather than going for bitcoin investments for various reasons.

4. Bitcoin ETF is continuously being rejected. This might be a reason why bitcoin is not attractive for new investors but this cannot be the reason why bitcoin was falling down (as it had become an usual event among crypto traders).
310  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: January 13, 2019, 06:02:36 AM
i will try to be realistic and will accept whatever it will be however to the moon seems near to impossible to do so
Bitcoin market is always known for making impossible things to happen in real life. If $20k or $25k is the moon in your definition then that may happen before end of this year. There will be very less possibility for bitcoin to take more time like how it done in 2015 and 2016. I am expecting bitcoin will not take 2 years of time this time to recover and ATH may happen by mid of this year. Yes, 14 months of fall-down will be recovered in next 4 to 6 months of time itself. Reaching moon is definite.

The only thing I see is that every day is going deeper do not listen to some country to legalize bitcoin and allow it to be used as a means of payments, I just use bitcoin to make trade or convert to fiat
Going deeper ? No, it is facing big resistances around $3500 levels hence got some recovery up to $3650 levels and it seems this year's lower levels had already passed away and now we must get ready to bear this kind of sideways incoming news until bakkt goes live or anything similar to that to happen.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: Brexit we're going to know the end of the story. on: January 13, 2019, 03:59:20 AM
Companies always find a solution, they have insane amount of options to continue, they could just create one big head company and than smaller companies belonging to that, just like google did with alphabet. They can have one huge X company and have A England bank, B France bank, C Germany bank all reporting to big X company. That is the simplest, they could do many different ways.

People I am sure will have hard time at first but not like any British citizen ever had trouble living in Europe ever, they might have troubles for a while I am sure but in the next couple of years system will be back on track and people will continue applying for living in any country they want and not many countries will deny brits from living there.

Scotland already tried independence and they didn't want it, maybe this brexit will change that but I doubt it will have that much of a major change in the result, maybe closer but still same result. I don't see why GBP would lose value, eventually they were already using GBP anyway so I doubt it will have any affect like that but even if it does that means amazing for investors and I would get as much GBP as I can afford in that case.
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: We must work together to crash the price of all coins on: January 10, 2019, 04:36:04 PM
People will sell off coins here at the end of the year to claim a big loss on their taxes.  But we need more than that.  We need bad news.  We need negative press stories.  We need security flaws to be "discovered", even if they don't really exist.

And why do we need this?

To get the prices down so I can buy in cheap to several coins, and then let them ride to BIG PROFITS on the next market cycle upswing!

Gotta get that dolla dolla bill, yo!  Smiley
That type of logic will not help bitcoin at all. You can get bitcoin to drop to 1 dollar each and buy as much as you can in order to profit but when the price drops to 1 dollar it doesn't mean it will recover right away, maybe it will keep continue going down ? Maybe it will stay there for a long time ?

There are coins that used to be 35+ dollars (like nano) which are about 1 dollars right now, that is about x30+ profit if you are willing to risk, go buy some nano and wait for it to go back to all time high prices, bitcoin is only x5 away from all time high prices whereas nano is x30 away and you can make so much profit, a small $3000 investment to nano would yield over 100 thousand dollars if it goes back to all time high. Why do we not do it ? Because, nothing suggests it will go back there anytime soon. Same applies with this logic.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: World’s 23rd Richest Man Invests in Cryptocurrency Exchange Bakkt’s First Fundin on: January 10, 2019, 03:37:14 PM
It is not a shocking thing that people want to be part of the first company that does this.
Thanks to Bakkt they will be capable of making money from the first investors and traders there. The amount of commissions they could make from this is endless and until a competition comes they are monopoly in what they do.

Who wouldn't want a part of this huge crypto monopoly company ? I mean there are still people like warren buffett who I admire and he thinks he doesn't know about bitcoin enough to invest into it, dude has been friends with bill gates for over two decades now and hasn't bought a single Microsoft share, he only invests into stuff he thinks he knows, if you are someone like that than its fine not to invest but if you know crypto even a bit (which Ka-Shing does) than you have nothing to worry about and its a great chance to be a part of it.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ICO's a good option? on: January 09, 2019, 07:01:57 PM
It depends on the team. I have checked icobench constantly since they started and if you look at the scores of the "people" that are behind some ICO's you can see that there are couple of people who did great ICO's and not just one but couple of ICO's that got funded and doing well currently.

It means there are couple of people in this world that knows how to do ICO and did it multiple times, if those people get together somehow and build a team together I am sure any ICO they do will be amazing and I will put all my money there. People who did great ICO separately would mean a lot more when they are all together so it will be double the chance of success. Hence, when I invest I just check the team behind it and which ICO's they worked before and if it is their first I try to stay away from it.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for the Inexperienced Traders on: January 07, 2019, 08:33:34 PM
Risk is always a part of trading especially here in cryptocurrency. Now, trading for inexperienced traders, losses is more likely than profits. There's a saying, experienced is the best teacher. For inexperienced traders, don't afraid to lose, those losses will teach you make an experienced trader. What matters here is how we learn the lessons.
But without trying out, you cannot be gaining experience. Inexperienced traders also will become professional trader only if they keep on trying with trading. They can use demo accounts for making use of virtual money for their trading purposes. When they will be trading in virtual platforms, they can gain real-time experience but for free of cost.

Learning about trading may come for free of cost but experience may not. Because, only when you will be trading in real platform you will learn the lessons from the mistakes you may do and that lessons along will be considered as valid experience because only those experience will be remembered for your rest of life.
316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ★Secret of successful crypto Trading★ on: January 07, 2019, 07:57:28 PM
The first one is amazingly right. It is vital to be in a projects discord group because most of the time either they have a discord or a telegram channel and when you are indirect talks with the founder of the project you can see how things are going.

I specifically get out of a coin because I have talked with the founder and saw personally that they were not really excited about their project and didn't even had the enough funds to continue so I got out and now they are half less than when I was there. Second one is just pure common sense, I mean it doesn't matter what you hold, if its bitcoin or a new coin you just need patience because if you panic sell you will just lose your future profits.

Third one remind me that there were ton of people who invested coins that had small price, like having 2 cents would make it easier to get it up instead of looking at the market cap. They forgot that 2 cents to 3 cents is harder when there is a big number of coins mined like 500 million or so. That is why many people were excited about reddcoin and doge at one point.

Signals are cool and all but they are for short term uninterrupted trading. It can help you for a day or max a week but in the end you need no outside interference like some whale selling a lot or buying a lot to make it happen.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience: The key factor to succeeding in the crypto space on: January 07, 2019, 07:27:44 PM
Cryptocurrency is an evolving sector which is poise to lift many from financial aid to been financially free.  Apart from the powerful potentials of cryptocurrency in better finances and transactions, payment and utility,  cryptocurrency will make money cheaper and influence international trade positively!
Yes I agree. But many people are not making use of these opportunities because they are see the markets are falling down and they are not able to make any returns for their capital. But, if you look in to the past, how most currencies were performing and how much returns they have produced for its investors then I believe no one will lose their patience and they will be holding for better market conditions to arrive.

If you see the history of some main currency you can see their price did not increase overnight. So it needs time and patience to succeed in crypto space.
There were times when many coin showed big leap over the night. But those incidents were special market conditions and we cannot expect that to happen more repeatedly. One good example here must be, bitcoin got doubled its value in just one month of time. Yes, it raised from $10,000 to $19,500 in less than 30 days of November 2017. At the same time, only the people who were able to hold patiently, got the maximum benefit and people who were rushing to book profits when they were seeing $12k or $15k, missed the opportunity of having the maximum profits.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is going to clean the garbage littered all over? on: January 07, 2019, 06:48:26 PM
The altcoin zone is almost becoming a dump site for shitcoin.  With just anyone being able to come up with a token on any of the blockchain makes it easy to have shitcoins littered all over the place. But the question is; who is going to clean up the mess?  Natural death or a regulation is going good to be imposed later?
If we are expecting for natural things to happen then it will take more time and that will be no guarantee that those shitcoin will not be happening again and again. It means we must need regulation so that we will be having a cleaner environment which is more important for attracting new people into the system.

I believe those kind of garbage are more core reason why we are having such a downfall for the entire crypto markets. Yes, when there will be lots of scams are happening how we can attract new people into the crypto space. Mostly new investors are being convinced are through mouth of word by their friends and colleagues. When more people are sharing about their bitter experience with crypto environment, new investors may get panic to get into this space.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High premines - what is your opinion about them? on: January 07, 2019, 05:52:55 PM
Hello. I was wondering, what is your opinion about high premines? I'm thinking to launch a new coin, with a really, really high premine, like 90% - would that be a problem to you or not?

Personally I was really skeptical about high premines earlier, but after I've had my own first project - I have learned my mistakes. Never do a coin from your own funds unless you're a billionaire.

How would you react to a coin that has 90% premine? Would low supply to miners increase the price of a coin?
Would make no sense at all. I mean look at ripple, they premined everything and managed to grab the second position so just because you are premined doesn't really mean you will be bad and you will be going to zero.

However, if you are going to take ripple as an example you should also know that they have a team of hundreds of people working for them making bank connections all around the world and even got on ellen degeneres show with ashton kutcher giving 4 million dollars worth of ripple to ellen.

It means you can start a premine coin but that means you need to be both patient and also really amazing product to actually make it. Otherwise, no one will give a damn about a coin thats 90% premined, why would anyone invest into something to make the owner rich if they are not getting rich as well? It will certainly be harder to convince people to buy the coin.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the best Auto-Bot Dice strategy? on: January 07, 2019, 04:39:46 PM
Auto bot can't win, auto bot won't win. Nothing will beat the house edge especially not bots.
Bots means lots of bets and lots of bets mean laws of big numbers apply.
Law big numbers means you lose.
You just made up to breath and width of this entire discussion a completely meaningless. I mean to say when there will be no positive outcome of having auto bot dice strategy, for what the hell that we are having this discussion. I just go back to check what exactly OP is needing, but unfortunately he is not mentioning about what he's actually looking for; no mention about he is looking for making money or to enjoy the gambling with auto bot dice strategies.

Having strategy for your gambling may give you an endless entertainment because you will be having enough parameters to modify and keep checking. Given that you are getting faucet refill every time you need it. Yes, strategies are very good entertainer to get engaged with them. People who are basically good in mathematics and willing to try out new things may go for this kind of gambling because it will cost nothing but you can get exciting entertainment for sure.
