301  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 08, 2014, 07:43:01 PM
WTF I come to read the latest happenings of BitmainTech S2 Sales and news and the thread has been hijacked with KnC BS posts. Where's the delete wand?

Sorry, hard to contain irritation when I see KNC shills touting how great it is that they boned US.. Again!

Thank GOD for bitmaintech!! 1 x S2 and 6 x S1's inbound!

I don't understand why are people angry. While i was pissed at the refund thing, i don't see anything bad with the latest news. Will someone enlighten me why is everyone pissed? You paid for a 3TH/s miner with announced delivery on Q1/Q2. So the deadline is 30 June 2014. You will get the promised 3TH/s in June!(either as a free-hosted cloud hashing power either as a physical miner) It's very close to the deadline, but they respect their word. How many companies respect their pre-order deadlines? As long as they respect their own deadline i don't see a problem. Yes i am aware that they already have the cloud hashing power, but why should they give it to the customers right now? They gain nothing and the customers agreed to the Q2 deadline. If you don't like the Q2 deadline then you shouldn't have bought Neptunes! Easy as that. It's amaizing that people are complaining that this company already has a back up 2-3 months before their deadline, while other companies missed their deadline by a lot. I bet that customers that bought from TH, VMC, BFL, Bitmine, BA, HashFail(am i right cedivad?) wished their company had a back up plan as cloud hashing Cheesy

Edit: Forgot HashFail!

"Q1/Q2"  MEANS---  March or April..   End of Q2 = June..  misleading at Best!!

Only if you are an idiot. Q1/Q2 means any time in Q1 or Q2

Not an Idiot, but surely a fool as are many who bought CA, mislead by the Q1/Q2 Delivery. June would be more like Q2/Q3, NO?

Also, I wonder if the meant to say "people" or could they have meant "units" ? I did ask them that.

Indeed, BITMAIN save US!!

This was IMO 100% move to clear the orders for Neptunes..   SOB's

worked for me -- "Refund ready for process"

I am not attacking you, but you need to hire someone who knows how to build a website.

Website is NON-functional? Are you sold out already?
310  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Scam List on: April 03, 2014, 08:28:23 PM
Over in another thread they just made the bold claim that mining with USB miners (think anything from Block Erupter through AntMiner U2 to hex•fury) is "still very profitable".  If they don't come up with some very solid data, this looks like, sounds like, and smells like a typical scam.. advertise fast, advertise hard, profit off of the few who fall for it / are willing to take the risk, then disappear without a trace.

Yes "he" has been a busy bee, saw a ton of high pressure BS he was hosing, NO phone, NO address, NO products == 100% Scam, NO doubt. Mod could do an IP lookup and alert authorities?

Hope no one falls for this crap-o-la  http://asicminingequipment.com/ scam
311  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Scam List on: April 03, 2014, 08:23:43 PM
What do you think of http://asicminingequipment.com/ scam or not?

Selling neptunes for less than knc.

Definite scam.

Do you even know what you are talking about? Neptunes ARE KNC, so are Jupiters...
I sell KNC Neptunes and KNC Jupiters, so how can I sell neptunes for less than KNC if they are KNC. Muppets like you just cause headaches for legit businesses.

Yeah YOU do.. Scumbag SCAMMER!!

Really?? This is my site that is trusted by hundreds.. Why is it in the scam section?

I have been selling bitcoin mining equipment for several years now and no-one has ever claimed I scammed them.

Can the admin please remove this as it could be damaging to my business.

IMHO this is CLEARLY SCAMMER site. LOL "900 Neptunes" get a grip, this newbie has in his hands, 1/4 of the entire Neptune supply whilst KNC can not tell me how many KW to prep for..  right right..

100% SH!T BAGGER!!!
313  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I do not agree with Antminer S2's pricing on: March 30, 2014, 07:30:40 PM
You're missing 2 things.

1) When the S2 was announced, Ant S1s were 0.98BTC, and the coinbase price was $634. This made the cost of buying 1TH/s of S1s almost $3200. Now you still had to spend a few hundred in PSUs, but you were hashing within a few days. The point is that upgrading only cost an extra $400, and you could cut your power consumption in half.

The power supply being included made the S2 a no-brainer for me. The power of running 5 * S1 = 2,000 watts for 1 TH/s performance. Using off the shelf AX1200 @ well north of 80% it would require 2 or an additional $500...   500 - 400 (above price diff) = $100 cheaper to buy S2.

That being said, if supply of S2's does not increase I will be building another 3600 watt DC bus..

314  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales NEW STOCK ***NOW SHIPPING*** on: March 25, 2014, 10:22:05 AM
Didn't you all know..  IF you can not make a 5 million dollar purchase, "Buzzman" has no love for ya. Stopped buying Bitfurys and started buying antMiners 3 months ago. SOOO happy I got in on the S2's (AKA Bitfury killer). As for the bitfury's, they have been delegated to the test lab for now and soon the rifle range. CEX.IO has 2 Petahash worth of "futures" going for less then $5/GH not likely Megabigplower will ever have anything to offer miners. Lucky for him noobies like Merlin are born everyday, how's that 5 million in Bitfury gear treating ya?

In the rack, waiting for the 1TH/s antMiner, plenty of room!!

316  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: TheShowOff-all ANTMINER mining rigs. on: March 17, 2014, 11:44:27 PM

So are you planning to occupy 1-2U of rackspace overhead to get that air out? Im picturing a server rack as best as I can, and generally the airflow is designed to either go out the backside or to go out the sides. If you stacked several of your units, there would be a pretty insane temperature gradient with all the airflow pointed vertically

This unit is going to go into the top of rack where I have a 2U exhaust fan to evacuate it from the rack. Interesting side note between the bitfurys, BFLs, KNC, and the antMiner, the antMiner handles heat the best and I saw a decrease in hash when I reduced their op-temp below 40C.

Thanks to BitMainTech's new 1TH/s this will be the only 6 * S1 unit I build...  well I do have coupons.. Wink
317  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: TheShowOff-all ANTMINER mining rigs. on: March 17, 2014, 11:19:42 PM
^the design is really nice, but what the heck is with the fan setup? you have 3 exhaust fans that are trying to handle the airflow of 6 big delta fans (that are pointed at eachother on top of that?)

The use of the fuse board is neat - I have a few of those with me now but didnt see much benefit in useing them, espescially considering any risk of the open terminals being near so much metal and wiring. (might be worth putting plastic tips on the unused terminals?)

The exhaust fans simply redirect the air up and out, they are handling the flow well. They are static at full speed while the antMiner fans vary as need be. The pics with "open" tips was temporary as all 36 spots are utilized in final assembly. This unit is heading for co-location in the morning, but run steady @ 48C in a lab with an ambient temp of 90F. I know NOT happy rack has been delayed, but all will be happy in the morning.
