Only because of Bitcoin . Bitcoin is my favorite currency, world number one cryto currency, Valuable and more reliable cryto currency which is hit around 6.9k within this year and people just like to only buy Bitcoin, and so others coin are now dying
Yea it is because of bitcoin and also yess, but what about later? witch currency will be no. 1 after bitcoin? I vote for ETH, even if has some fault's it can all repair. Let's wait till ethereum goes pos, I'm eager to know how the market will react on it. I think it might not be that good.

I'm down with ethereum, it's a pretty nice coin. I only don't like how centralized the whole project is.

Patience is the key of succes ! Be patient 1 more year and you will see a goooood profit in your wallet . I hold altcoins since 2016 and I will hold them 1 more year , already i am over than 7x profit
That's a good advice. But holding your coins for this long can be quite a challenge for some. But I have to agree it might be the wisest. Sooner or later you're going to miss a big swing and you're either out of coins and it's up again, or you still hold while they go down and never go back up.

The volumes when Bcash was at $900 were really low. It was just futures at first and no real market to absorb such high prices for a currency that had barely launched yet. Once the network stabilized and people were able to cash out their wallets prices started falling imminently so $900 is not a reliable price point by any means. The recent price rise of Bcash has been accompanied by large volumes though so it's a great opportunity for those that want to cash out their coins.
Only a few lucky ones got to dump it at that price indeed. I tried myself but it went into the 500's already, at some exchanges even lower.

We know the fork was cancelled. Few days ago someone said to me after fork the alt coins price will go up, You guys what do you think ? What's your plan ? Can you tell us.
It is hard to say anything. Everybody is scared of altcoins nowadays and all ready to panic and dump them back. Everybody??? LOL Please speak only for yourself. It only applies to those who do not have foresight. Losers see gloom and doom...winners see opportunities. Well said, I'm on the side of seeing opportunities. Some see the glass as half empty others as half full, invest wisely

Really unexpected that they aren't going through with it all of the sudden, but it was always a possibility. I had kind of based my trading around the, now canceled, fork.

It's going a lot faster than expected to be honest.

Yes, it would be nice to have an official statement that we can remove our signatures. The OP states that the campaign is over when the ICO has ended, but I see that the spreadsheed is still not updated, this is why I'm asking.
well the campaign manager should make a post to anounce everyone that it is ok to change...but in my opinion the rules are clear..the ico is over you can change your sig So how will the campaign manager be able to verify people actually wore the signature the last week now lol?

What's the idea behind elite? Is it just a token or does it have a real use case?

I'm not sure if you should buy now, there will probably be a dip in some of em. But I think after the nov. fork they will pump even harder.
|
|
|
They are making big money doing this. Let's hope someone will go through the trouble of tracking these coins.
|
|
|
I think the bigger investors just wait for a decent roi, price doesn't even have to pump that much with a big investment. Dump and on to the next one.
|
|
|
Next year they will monitor even closer, and probably come to the conclusion they will enforce new regulations. Could be 2019 or something as well.

Soon, Maybe next week after the invitation phase. But this token is worth the wait and expect a high price tag on each token when it hits the exchange.
I was hoping to score some cheap on exchange but I am kind of doubtful that will happen at this point.

Been using it for a while now, felt a little apprehensive the first times, but I everything seems fine.

As all this airdrop madness ensues and continues to make exponentially less sense I just want to give a word of warning to all everyone who is looking for the next airdrop to get in on: Please seriously consider before sending Eth to anyone!!I am making this post as, as most of you have probably seen, this 'airdrop' fad has gone from silly to downright absurd and now people are requestin that participants send in a 'small amount of eth' to verify that they are in fact real people and not trying to 'game the system', if anything, this is the people releasing these coins 'gaming the system'. The majority of these coins are just copy and paste jobs. The contracts are the same, the coins have little to no function and the 'devs' have little to no background information. Guys, do the maths, if someone is running an 'airdrop' and only asking for .002 from 5000 people, how much does that leave the dev with before he or she has to dump the coin? .002 x 5000 = 10 Eth.... 10!! While it may not be groundbreaking stuff, think about it, at today's current price that is pretty much $3,000 = half a full Bitcoin. Now, consider than most people expect Bitcoin to reach $10k by the end of this year and you realise that these guys can easily pocket up to $5k without doing anything but buy a domain and copy/paste some code into a smart contract. My basic point from all this is that you are basically participating in an ICO with no research, no whitepaper, no roadmap and absolutely no purpose, and the only way this insanity is going to stop is if people stop buying into all this BS. Personally, I genuinely believe that the majority of these tokens have been made by the same person/team of people and they are pulling a fast over on many newbies to the industry. I'm gonna take a guess and theorise that most of the people who have been donating to these things are newbies to this and that the majority of seasoned traders etc would have more sense than to donate to a completely undocumented project. Guys, we need this to stop. As a rule of thumb, do not send eth to these 'airdrops', if you have to pay it is not an airdrop, it is an ICO
Anyway, call it a rant, call it advice, call it what you like but we need to really make a stand as, as I have said many times before, these seemingly innocous ' projects' cause harm to the crypto industry as a whole and especially the Ethereum blockchain/technology. We need to make it so that shit coins are not popping up and making people a quick buck. I think it's safe to say that when an airdrop has 5000 participants (within hours or a few days), then most of those participants aren't real.

Everyone with half a brain and a little experience in crypto would have seen those coins in that list wouldn't really become successful.

you don't need to claim bitcoin gold by yourself i think , you just need to send your bitcoin to any trusted exchange that provide bitcoin gold
such as yobit ... and so on , i don;t know if there have anyother exchange support that , but yobit i know they provide bitcoin gold cliam,
You shouldn't really on any online wallet to provide those coins for you, better to own the privkey. I wouldn't call yobit a trusted exchange either by the way.

They took open source code developed a while back and incorporated an ether token. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see how this is different from all the projects like Ebtc, eltc, etc. except those were airdropped for free and this they're asking money for.
I only read 1 article about it, but to me it seemed like they are going for their own platform. So an eth competitor. It's not like they are just deploying a contract on the eth chain. Also Disney is not involved in this, it would immediately concern me as investor that the disney name is already being thrown around to make the project look legit.

Maybe 0.1 but I am doubtful. To me ltc will always remain a toy of the whales, and in a few years it will still be in it's usual pumping and dumping cycle.
