301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GBIT] GRAVITYBITS - SHA256 - POW/hiPOS - GravityBits Auctions on: February 13, 2016, 04:42:37 AM
I think there is some error in staking.

I was staking some coins and my weighted shares was enough to fetch me a stake block within 4 hours.
But recently I noticed that the ETA went beyond 10 hours! Shocked

Can you explain this?

I think someone is staking large number of coins in a single wallet to increase the staking difficulty!
Not a good sign for stability Undecided
302  Economy / Marketplace / General query regarding a physical coin auction on: February 13, 2016, 04:35:20 AM
I currently having an auction running here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1361335

Regarding the auction many members are either commenting there or pm-ing me asking not to peel the sticker off from the unredeemed coins like Ravenbit, and 2 other CryptoImperator coins.

So what would you like me to do?

1. Peel the sticker off and redeem the coins before delivery?
2. Send the unredeemed coin and the buyer will pay the btc stored in them + the winning auction bid?

(Please write your response below if you have voted)
303  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: February 13, 2016, 04:22:43 AM
I've been observing BitMixer's payments for a while now and I've seen that it always deducts 10 posts from payment (0.007 BTC) I think it's their way to remove the spam posts but it's pretty much not paying as much as it promises to (0.035 max a week)

At 50 posts shown in bitmixer.io/signature.html
it only paid me max of 0.028

So yeah they should just not accept those bad posts instead of capping and deducting

I think their bot is defined in such a way that it should automatically deduce the last 10 posts from a user who has maxed his post count regardless of post quality or count.

So either way its better if you post 10 more constructive comments to compensate for it or just wait for bitmixer's confirmation regarding that ninja strategy!
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin facebook page? on: February 12, 2016, 08:48:53 PM
Bitcoin is a currency just as your fiat ones.
They dont need Facebook promotion to become popular. They automatically becomes popular through convenient usage.

You might try joining some Facebook community but I dont think it is needed since Bitcointalk is the largest of all. Wink
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll try to pay my dentist with BTC on: February 12, 2016, 08:45:13 PM
It would be very difficult to find a dentist who prefers bitcoin.
Hope you get one soon. Let me know.
306  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄▀▄▀ NitrogenSports.eu | Sports | Dice | BJ | Poker ▀▄▀▄ on: February 12, 2016, 08:37:49 PM
I just now got stumbled upon this site after op replied.
I think your site needs better traction overall.

There are no ads shown anywhere, neither any signature campaigns here on the forum.

Btw, will there be having bets available on upcoming India vs Sri Lanka T20 match (14th Feb)?
307  Economy / Lending / Re: Please lend me 0.001 BTC (20% month)" on: February 12, 2016, 08:27:30 PM
Could you lend me 0.001 BTC ? I will give you back 0.0012 in a month (20%).  I need it to finance my faucet http://bitbank.faucetfly.com
The address is 1DK2nLpeUkYwexEH1izU25JSr96PQSkSbt. I can not offer a collateral but i can put your banner add in my faucet for free.

Looks like you are offering a free paid banner service on your faucet.
It is better to offer it in your service section without asking for loan.

No collateral = No loan, even if it is 1 Satoshi!
Or try to earn 0.001 BTC from other faucets. Check this out. (Faucetbox's official rotator)
308  Economy / Lending / Re: [ISO] Loan for 1.4 BTC (~$500) on: February 12, 2016, 08:12:24 PM
I have a good standing in the community and am loved by many Wink

First of all no one loves you. That might be your perception but its the truth.
Secondly no one will love you either if you ask for a insane amount of loan without a valid collateral.

And I have been around for awhile and am good for the payments.

Proof?

I can provide the lender my personal details. I would pay the loan back monthly for 6 months with 6 payments of $110. So the lenders incentive would be that he/she earns $160 for performing this service!

Next time I will provide you fake personal details and ask you for a loan of 2 BTC.
Will you give me the loan without hesitation? Roll Eyes

Advice: Better lock this thread asap before ruining your account with negative trusts.

But this one seems new to me.
The captchas are also different.

Would you mind sending me the details on how to join here?

I updated the thread based on Puppet's claim last time.
So I introduced the Obsolete or suspended section back again.

To assist in your great efforts - 2 more likely ponzi's down and need to be updated on the OP-

http://grmining.com
Stopped paying out and now site is parked and offline
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=984340.0

http://www.cloudminr.io/
Another "hack"
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/cloudminr-io-hacked-user-database-put-up-for-sale/

Already updated on previous listing.
Please use the "Find" function on your browser to search for a site quite easily.

Zeushash has stopped paying out to the miners! They have come up with a terrible excuse which is being displayed every time I click the withdrawal button. Undecided

http://i65.tinypic.com/30m8v9z.png

Looks like they fixed this error today.
I contacted them about the issue and they responded today stating that its fixed.

Also I checked and the pending withdrawal was fine Smiley

Removed the link of your previous claim on this update.

What I want to know is, would this have any affect on Bitcoin in India or other bitcoin traders who had deals with him or BTC traders in general?

In India at present, RBI did not impose any regulations governing virtual currencies.
RBI on 2013 probably, issued a press release on virtual currencies like bitcoins, litecoins, dogecoins etc. stating that creation, trade and usage of virtual currencies as a medium for payment is not authorized by any central bank or monetary authority.

But after this situation I think they will become strict to their neutral terms! They cannot declare it as illegal since bitcoin enthusiasts in India are growing rapidly nowadays but they might be on the strict side in terms of law from now on.

Omg! This is unbelievable!
I knew Pankaj after I got to know about bitcoins on June 2015. This is because I had several small trades with him via Localbitcoins when I first wanted to buy some btc and know about its mechanisms.

I had contact with him on Whatsapp and there he explained me everything starting from how a transaction works and all other technical details.
He seemed to be a humble guy to me. One day he mentioned about this forum and asked me to join here so that I can get to know the community better.

From that time onward I used to trade with him on Localbitcoins and he had 2 profiles there:
1. https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/escrowmsa
2. https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/bitcoinsbazaar

Just now I noticed this article before I tried to pm him asking for reasons of his absence on LBC.

And this crime is absolutely unforgivable (specially in India) if he had knowingly done this. Undecided

I think anyone needs to give a proper reasoning to Google of why his house is to be blurred out.

I wonder what solid reasons he might have provided to convince them within a very short time?

Is there a possibility to show this thread to the Google US authority?
