301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple looking for ETF, would it be the second one? on: February 10, 2024, 01:29:07 PM
….

Yeah it took sec to get the approval of Bitcoin etf as you said, looking at the circumstances that prompted this delay, do you see the approval of ethereum taking place soon, to me nothing is impossible but is not as easy as it sound, their are process involved in etf approval despite that bitcoin is rated as best among all other crypto it took time to get it things done this way and again if you look at the approval itself people taught that after etf approval bitcoin will pump very high but since then the price has been fluctuating as usual, this is to say that the approval of ethereum has more time to come.

Agree on this. SEC is taking in consideration the volatility of crypto to be approved as an ETF. ETH is much risky and volatile than Bitcoin so it means that it will took a long time to be approved.

It’s worst case scenario for XRP. They just barely off the hook against the SEC to their case for being security. I really doubt that they can have an ETF approved in the near future. XRP is the most problematic project among the top 10 crypto right now.
302  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun on: February 10, 2024, 01:11:23 PM
I have been trying to contact blackjack.fun support but it seems like they ain't responding on live chat or telegram. I tried logging into my account and it's saying banned. I hadn't been playing for a while. May you please look into it blackjack.fun support. My username it's nitro . Thank you.

Blackjack.fun live support is not always online because there’s only one person in charge for it and it’s close when she is offline. Their email response is so slow based on my experience that it almost useless to ask update there unless you will keep bumping your request.

Being banned means you probably have an alt account that involves on bonus and tournament abuse because they are very strict about their rules when regards to this. I hope that they will unlock now their official thread to properly address all their issue towards them since their chat support is not always available.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 09, 2024, 04:20:59 PM
for me personally, i take time to take a break from gambling when i am in an unlucky situation, such as a losing streak or when my money is running low so it is impossible for me to continue my gambling. i think that taking a break from gambling is actually necessary, especially when you are in a difficult position, because by taking a break it means you are learning about priorities that there are things that are much more important than your gambling.

This is the common reason why gamblers take a break. It’s not really a voluntary break but rather you don’t have any choice than to stop since you don’t have enough money to continue. Pursuing gambling while on this state usually ended up being a compulsive gamblers and worst is by resorting to crime such as theft just to get extra money.

I usually take a break on gambling if I’m not in the mood to lose money/ don’t have money that I can afford to lose. Sometimes even if I have enough money on my bank I feel not in the mood to lose some of it if I don’t have any motivation to win on gambling.
304  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: February 09, 2024, 03:47:09 PM
-snip-

I'm sure you know what I'm going to say about this nice hit in javanesse? LOL
yggdrasil is an old provider but not that popular compared to other providers, I have no idea how could you play this game.
Where did you get the inspiration so you choose this game to play than your other favorite games?
Its been a while for me not playing at bk8, maybe I need to try my luck by coming back and hopefully I'll get nice win as yours.

It’s indeed old provider probably same era of Endorphina back in the days which Pragmatic Plays still doesn’t dominate the slot industry in online crypto casino. I also remember this slot provider when Stake remove this provider in their casino for unknown reason. Many speculate that due to fraud but it turns out that it’s just a technical maintenance.

I still doesn’t play game on this provider because I rarely see this game on the featured slot games of the casino. Their max win is insanely high that makes me want to try it too.  Cheesy
Yes kabayan nauuso nga work from home sa ngayon tapos malaki pa sahod.

306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats the new narrative? on: February 09, 2024, 02:23:27 PM
in the local board, my country's crypto community and my circle, the narratives are different, in the airdrop community the best narrative is now that retro airdrops can generate thousands of dollars in just one airdrop, which means now it is the success of airdrops. If in the trading community they are waiting for the bitcoin halving which will happen soon, what they believe is that after the halving bitcoin will rise to $100,000. Apart from that, there are several fanatical Solana network communities whose communities are very solid, layer 1 layer 2 or layer 3 projects which I don't really understand either. ntf, ico, defi seem to be dead.

This is what popular now in my local especially in our social media channel. The consecutive airdrop from Aptos, Tia and many more gives an airdrop another spotlight again that outshine DeFi and other altcoins area.

L1 and L2 project are now trending nomkatter what is the project as long as its new since VC keeps throwing money on it for initial liquidity including funding the airdrops and wait for new investors to cash in more liquidity for them to use as exit liquidity. The typical whale moves which I believe everything will blow ip after the Bitcoin hype but this will take longer for sure.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's problem gambling different from compulsive gambling. on: February 09, 2024, 02:13:44 PM

The two terms were Problem Gambling and Compulsive Gambling. I want to know if they are different in meaning and how different is their effect on their victims.

By the word compulsive means an urge that can’t be stop meaning this are the gamblers that always have an urge to play while problem gamblers are those players that doesn’t have this kind of urge to frequent gamble but always have a problem when doing gambling by either being violent or other things that related to financial outbreak.

And moreso, there's a statement I read in the comment section which is in the quote below. I would love to have the views of slot lovers in the forum on this. How true is this statement.
Quote
All slot players are long term losers.

Slot games is pure luck with house edge. Not only slot but also other gambling games that is based on luck will ended up a losers in long term.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 05, 2024, 04:05:38 PM
After the defeat in Philadelphia, Utah Jazz defeated Milwaukee 123-108 at home. Their next game will be at home against Oklahoma, but Oklahoma is in great form and Utah has a tough job. Oklahoma's away record is pretty good.
Boston beat Memphis on its own field by a different score of 131-91.
In their last 8 games, Boston lost to Los Angeles teams at home.
It's like Boston is allergic to Los Angeles teams. It was surprising to me that they lost to both the Clipppers and the in-form Lakers.
This will be a great fight for Utah Jazz and they will prove a lot if they will defeat one of the best teams in the West. I am glad to see Sexton making a huge impact for that team. Now, Jordan Clarkson is whom I want to see stepping up his game. It seems like his stats are not improving anymore especially in their last 5 games.
I've seen him become an offensive player and even took the 6th man of the year. Now, they need him to show that performance again and maybe they will defeat the OKC if that happens.

Jazz is just lucky on today’s match because Dame is literally no impact in the game. Bucks relies too much with Giannis and we all know what gonna happened if there’s no help for Giannis. OKC is much tougher opponent since SGA is very consistent while he has a reliable teammates that is so well synchronized to each other.

On the other hand, I think Clarkson performance is understandable since Jazz is well balance team which usually do a rotation on their players. Jazz is not focusing their play to Clarkson so it’s very hard him to get a momentum especially now that the expectation on him becomes higher due to his recent achievement on stats.

309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you invest on this kind of offer? on: February 05, 2024, 03:51:50 PM
Most people will not study or try to understand the rules or security of the site and immediately register themselves. They are trapped by an offer that is too good to be true, so they are willing to use the money to start investing. But many also want to test the validity of their sites with the money they can afford, knowing that such sites can disappear quickly and take all their investors' money with them. Every investor really needs to investigate everything about the investment program before they join and deposit their money. If not, they will only experience fraud, which will make them disappointed because they have lost their money. Instead of risking losing money on the investment site, they are better off holding their bitcoins in their wallet and just waiting for the price of bitcoin to rise so they can sell their bitcoins at the next highest price. It will definitely provide maximum benefits for them.

The gambler should spend some time to read the rules of the gambling site, they also spend some time to learn the game. This two are the important one for the gambler to make the money in the gambling site. Many gambling site will provide the offer to the gamblers to register to their site. Most of the gambling site will provide the bonus based on the deposit money. Most of the gambling site will give bonus to many deposit money to the gambling site.Only few gambling sites will provide the bonus for the first deposit money. The gamblers had all right to investigate the gambling sites which was going to use by the gambler.

I’m confused on what you guys discussing here or how your post even related to the topic here. Both of your post looks like just paraphrased by an app since it has the same thought if I examine carefully what you are saying. Although not my business but you should be careful on your post because you might be accused of something such using an AI tool.

Answering what you are talking. It’s normal for gamblers to try bonuses since it’s an extra balance that you can use for your bankroll while you are just doing gambling as requirements to claim it which is your initial goal when you are gambling.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another Two Category Of Gamblers That We Are Not Aware Of on: February 05, 2024, 10:34:01 AM
This seems more like a superstition other than anything else...
Just like Koreans think your life is judged by your blood type, or how many indian people still kinda somehow follow the caste system...
Based on how someone gambles they come up with character traits? I wish life was that simple so we could judge people with things like zodiac signs or character stats.

It’s not about judging but rather this kind of traits is discovered due to the similarities within the gamblers. It’s just a classification and that doesn’t mean that it runs to your blood already. It’s based on how you behave which means you can change your classification based on your attitude.

I believe the list provided by the OP is not complete since there’s a lot of different types of gamblers that doesn’t mention on that 2 category. I myself don’t find any suitable category. the option since I’m just an average gambler but not low self esteem.there should be a choices in the middle.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 05, 2024, 10:28:36 AM
I started to realize and change my habits. Now I use $$ from the profits from the previous bet to place the next bet and save my initial capital.

What do you think, is this good and can help me overcome losses that will occur so that $$ remains safe and can be used in future betting? Are there other unique ways that you can use to grow your money in gambling? feel free to comment. Thanks

This is the most common betting strategy that I’m using whenever I’m playing a game with 50% chance win. The only difference was I wait to win at least 2 win streak before I bet using my profit only so that I can guarantee that I’m betting enough in case my like will continue longer.

The only problem on this strategy is when you start your game with losing streak since you can’t start adjusting your bets since you don’t have any profit yet but this strategy in general is good to use as it controls your bankroll properly. Although you might be bored once the game took longer especially if you are just experiencing a loop of win and lose.

313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take on this Robert Kiyosaki's thought? on: February 04, 2024, 04:05:03 PM

what's the guarantee that once you've bought bitcoin you are 100% certain that you've made profit.

At what point can you consider to have made profit in your bitcoin holding journey?

There’s no guaranteed profit on investing but one thing is for sure that you will not lose if you will not sold your holdings at loss because Bitcoin price keeps recovering how hard it nose dive. I think only those who purchase on peak or above 45K are still at loss now but they will surely recover once the price fully recovers or if they DCA when the price goes than to 15K to be on breakeven or in profit.

Michael Saylor is the living proof about my statement that you will never lose if you will never sold at loss. Bitcoin is one of kind investments. People values it a lot that’s why the price keeps recovering no matter what the FUD throws against it.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "loaded slots" scam on: February 04, 2024, 03:57:25 PM
Well, yeah, a physical slot machine can be rigged, which is a scam, but are you sure the digital or online slot machines are not rigged either? Yes, let's say the casino complies with their rights to operate and follow the laws, but it can also be helpful that an online casino is programmed by people, so what is the guarantee that an online slot machine is not a scam or rather will give a winner to the gamblers? That's why I don't do slot machines, whether online or physically, because the chances of winning are too low, and I don't want to waste money on that. As the OP said about those scams that offer services, or, let's say, something so that you could win in gambling, if you believe this and spend money on it, then you're an idiot, but it can't be help  if youal are too desperate to win money out of gambling and its your own fault.

If this your belief then you should not gamble in general since most of the gambling games is based on trust. Any gambling games can be rigged other than slot games. There’s a lot of video available in the web that other casino practicing cheat even on table games like roulette and blackjack.

Online casino games doesn’t disclose their source code while most of the live games have a part which can be cheat. So it’s up to the player if they will trust the provider or not but Casino has an advantage against players without cheating due to the house edge so they don’t need to resort to bad practice just to gain profit.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zeta Chain - What is Your Opinion ? on: February 04, 2024, 12:42:07 PM
Zetachain recently airdrop to their dedicated testnet users who consistently did the testnet since 2022.
The testnet task where based on doing swap task and claiming points weekly.
I tried to follow up with the test task but I wasn't consistent enough so my allocation was small compare to those who accumulate huge points.

Well zetachain currently running a mainnet xp campaign. I have started accumulating xp and I believe this is another opportunity for earn zeta for the second time.

*What do you guys think about Zetachain as a project?
*Are you participating in the maninet campaign?
*Where you lucky with the first airdrop?
*Are you accumulating zeta for the bull season?

I’m not familiar with this project but dropping the reference link for the project you are describing will be very helpful to provide opinion regarding this project although any type of airdrop that involves testnet is usually profitable.

Just keep accumulating if you are not losing any money on it. Airdrop nowadays is already profitable and frequent. I missed a lot of Airdrop like ALT, TIA, JUP and many more that rewards insane profit with airdrop participants. Can you provide the link please?
316  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 04, 2024, 10:34:09 AM
Betting had no influence on the outcome on the US presidents election at all. Thr main question who will win it but that is a different discussion. I would never vote for Trump but is Biden a good alternative? The guy is 84 years old and didn’t really make a lot of impact this last 3 years…
We can't bring the conspiracy theory here that is happening mostly on sports. Maybe sports could be rig, but this election? Not gonna happen as it's the nations future is at stake here, rigging for someone just to make a lot of money in risk of making a country struggle, doesn't make sense at all. We never know who would really win, just like when Trump as a huge underdog, people got surprise that he won, but that's official. now, as to choosing the president, it's entirely our personal choice and just like our interpretation on the bible, we have different.

Rigging on election is different on sports but election is worst than sports when it comes to conspiracy. Vote buying and questionable campaign funds from criminals like SBF just to get a favor to the government once the official won is pretty famous on US election.

The only time US election seems clean is when there’s a majority among the candidates for president. But I really election will be easy for anyone since there’s a lot to gain if you win the president seat in the US. No election is clean because everyone is greedy to get the power.
317  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ SCAM ALERT ] Blackjack.Fun is a cheap Scammer on: February 04, 2024, 10:24:48 AM

A SCAM is SCAM and stays until it is solved

Blackjack.fun and you cannot sell me shit with different taste as SHIT is SHIT and SCAM is SCAM

and you did not read all[/b]

Your scam accusation can be easily supported by the community if there’s an obvious scam happened. Assuming that your concerned is, Blackjack.fun is already willing to compensate to the potential damage for the “bug” that you discovered even though they don’t have bug bounty program.

The problem here is only “YOU” have concern on this bug while the rest of the player on that casino doesn’t bother at all even though they have more play time there than you. Maybe find other victim to support your accusation.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should prioritize investment over saving on: February 03, 2024, 05:05:15 PM
So too me we should think of investing more of our money than saving it, so that  inflation wouldn't eat it up.

Why the need to choose if you can do both. You can save part of your salary and total money in bank or insurance then use the rest on investments so that you will not be focus on one thing risk. Investment has risk too which can be greater than the inflation that you are considering once your investment goes wrong that’s why it’s still important to diversify your money and don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Sticking tp basic such as saving will give you some assurance of safety since you have a quick access to your money unlike investment which is dependent on the current value unless you are willing to take loss immediately once you need the money while your investment value is down. Investment is dependent while your savings is independent that’s why having both will give you an advantage on both scenarios which this two excel the most.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 03, 2024, 03:30:18 PM
Betting with online gambling firms will shield you from contracting communicable diseases because you are all alone in a comfortable atmosphere. My neighbor's behavior has made me focus only on crypto casinos because I am scared of my health. Don't get me wrong there are many well-built and very comfortable physical casinos that offer quality services, but when you are an online gambler you will not need to worry about the health concerns of fellow gamblers.

I agree with you to a certain extent that gambling from home offers health benefits to visiting physical casinos. We are not at risk to catch any disease at home, we can sit down and stand up whenever we want and we can eat and drink whatever we want at home. It's much more comfortable to gamble from home,

I’m not sure if you can call this as health benefits since gambling at home doesn’t boost your health and just as is. You just avoid potential health risk but it doesn’t boost your health either. In fact you can get CPR(Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) and other sick that involves exposure to computer/mobile radiation.

It’s a case to case basis depending on what physical casino you are holding. Most of the casino in my neighborhood offers a VIP experience to all players such as regular disinfectant and good ambiance. Casino here is much better than my house in terms of cleanliness.  Cheesy
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What remarkable thing have you achieved with the money you won from gambling? on: February 03, 2024, 03:25:04 PM
What remarkable thing I achieved with money won on gambling?

None

Because I never won in gambling in reality. I won big amount sometimes and I purchased laptop and other gadgets using that money but later on I lose money that greater that what I win before so generally speaking I’m just advancing my future salary when I won and purchase thing using gambling profit since I will lose later using different money.

This is same scenario to all the story that you mention. They are just advance spending their future money on a lavish way. The only way you can really enjoy gambling money is when you stop gambling completely after you experience huge win.
