Good one..

Please quote the thread on this post 11 CASES so far: Merit farming/trading. I will tag the users with red trust even if any DT member do the same or not.

May be the email has not been used to create an account before.
You might have more than one email account. Try with all possible email accounts you have.
3003  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can check earning through bitcoin forum? on: April 05, 2018, 08:46:40 AM
Too short to answer your question. What earning you are talking about? Checking Bitcoin balance or?
You seriously need a dimension before asking this question.
3004  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Pay attention, probably a new Scam from CEX.IO on: April 05, 2018, 08:40:30 AM
It is currently the worst time to buy bitcoin from exchanges especially using credit card , the whole simplex system is a scam where they take your funds ask for a selfie and you never get your funds. I did use coinmama it went through but i still wouldn't trust it

My advice just use local bitcoin to buy bitcoin the fees might be higher than normal rate but the risk involved isn't much unless you screw up

Or buy from any of the member of this forum. You might find someone in the service section I guess. I have seen a lot of posts here and there that people are selling bitcoin for paypal, payza etc. I guess you may need to find an escrow as well for reliable transfer.
3005  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When did you introduce to Bitcoin? on: April 05, 2018, 07:24:10 AM
October 25, 2017, that's when I got to know bitcoin.

I hope that I am not too late.
You are certainly not too later. Compare yourself with the rest of the 7 billion population in the world. You are in fact another early adopter. Good news is bitcoin is around $7k now from down to around $20k.

I am very happy to be a member in this forum, because I am here also can get guidance from people who know more basics and the meaning of bitcoin.

By being a member may increase your knowledge and hanging out with the community but acquiring bitcoin is completely in your hand. In my original post you can clearly see that if I would buy some bitcoin on 2011/12 then I would definitely had more Bitcoin then I have now.

3006  Other / Beginners & Help / When did you introduce to Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2018, 05:47:44 PM
Just stumble upon on this topic, the dude is asking what to do with the bitcoin sent from his friend.

I remember, sometimes around in 2011/12 a friend of mine first told me about Bitcoin. A crazy one, always ignored by everyone else. I guess we all have this kind of friend. They play a good role for the gang but no one listen to them.

That friend of mine used to do part time stoke trading. All day he used to sit in front of his computer. We did not have any clue what he was doing. End of the day we used to hear he lost money LOL.

Dude was frustrated. One day he was shouting saying, F**k everything, it's better to buy some Bitcoin.

That was it. No one never did say him anything neither him bought any Bitcoin.

I wish I did some research back in that time 2011/12. My cryptocurrency experience would be a different one.

PS: I got involved with BTC in early 2017 (January).

3008  Other / Meta / Re: Poll: Should the April Fools' Day Ranking System be permanently implemented? on: April 03, 2018, 01:49:24 PM
Move on!!!

A BIG NO

There were no way to determine a rank from all those parameters. i.e: Politeness, Imagination, Virtue, Coins.

It caught me LOL then later realised the truth.

A brilliant joke.

Of course it was brilliant. He fooled almost everyone.
3009  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary profiles of bitcointalk. on: April 03, 2018, 07:10:34 AM
I'm not sure if I will call him fool or legend or both.

Fool to spend 10,000 BTC for two pizza
It's not foolish to sell 1 BTC for $10,000 right now. Just as it made sense back then.

Legend for using BTC as currency at that time when only very few people believed in BTC.
It's one of the events that pushed towards adoption. Doing BTC-to-fiat transactions is necessary.

- Got your point  Cheesy

Why have you made this topic, anyway? Two profiles and a post? Roll Eyes
Asking me?  Huh
I have only one account unfortunately and which is this one I am making this comment  Smiley
3010  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary profiles of bitcointalk. on: April 03, 2018, 07:00:47 AM
This is a great list !

I would like to suggest an addition to this legendary list :

I am having another thought...

Shall I call the guy Legend or the person who accepted 10,000 BTC when people did not believe in bitcoin. He actually took the risk.
3011  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary profiles of bitcointalk. on: April 03, 2018, 06:34:28 AM
Some good work indeed.
Exhibit#3 is interesting though.
500,000 BTC!  Roll Eyes
I wonder what is this guy doing now a days?
3012  Other / Meta / Re: negative trust: why do people get it on bitcointalk.org on: April 03, 2018, 06:17:20 AM
I would like to know the reason why people have negative trust on their profile.

I wonder why most of us are too lazy to explore the stickies on the meta  Roll Eyes

I hope you already had your answers however miraculously if you have not yet then jump on this topic

Q: What is Trust and how does it work?
A: Trust is Bitcointalk's feedback based on trust (hence the name). The Trust system is made of 2 components: the Trust list and left feedback.

The Trust list is where you select the users whose feedback on other users you trust and how deep is this trust. You can either trust just their feedback (select the Trust depth as 0), theirs and their trusted users feedback (Trust depth 1), and so on (up until Trust depth 3). Trusted feedback will be counted when displayed as numbers to the left of a users post in trade boards such as Marketplace or Goods.

The feedback page is where you can leave feedback on other users or see a detailed view of a users feedback. Trusted feedback will be shown first and untrusted feedback will be hidden by default. You can view it by clicking the link "Show ratings". Last of all, you can see all the feedback the user has left on others.

This covers the basics of the Trust system. If you want a more in depth description of the Trust system and details I probably missed, go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211858.0.

Good luck!
3013  Other / Meta / Re: A LITTLE TRUTH... on: April 03, 2018, 06:06:56 AM
Yeah, I wish too.  If only I knew Bitcoin in the first place.
And by the way, I also send a message to Jet Cash about the IGNORE button. And here is his reply:

Ok, this is something wired and handy too.

my 1 Imagination  Grin

PS: I Unignore Jet Cash FYI

But if I get a NEGATIVE TRUST (I know you're already on DT)just because of this post then I think the TRUST SYSTEM is totally abused.

IF THIS SHIT CAN'T BE ACCEPTED THEN JUST DELETE IT.
-Calm down mate, you have not done anything wrong here. The Pharmacist is a reasonable person IMO.
3014  Other / Meta / Re: A LITTLE TRUTH... on: April 03, 2018, 05:52:53 AM
I've started to put them on ignore, but my list is getting pretty large. Smiley

@Jet Cash: What happens when you put someone on your ignore list?

~
On 1st April after seeing the new post by theymos and trying realising the new rank up requirement, I convinced myself to stay away from the forum for a while. Then yesterday after learning that it was an April fool I felt really fool LOL

By the way OP, your LITTLE TRUTH is a bit or truth for me too. I wish I was a Legendary like The Pharmacist, Welsh and others  Grin
3015  Other / Meta / Re: Are you ready for 2,000,000? on: April 03, 2018, 05:38:14 AM
This site is doing tremendous job for bitcoin revolution. I hope it's going to continue its journey.
2M is a great milestone. Someday we would love to see 10x or more users for the site.

Good luck BitcoinTalk and the admin.

Already ended up looking on it.
3020  Other / Meta / My ignorance/understanding/ confusions on: April 01, 2018, 07:14:36 AM
It's obvious on the New new rank requirements topic, everyone is just posting and posting.
Not sure how many of them understood the whole lot. I am still struggling to understand the new requirements. It's too much to understand though.

Previously all we had to keep in mind that make good posts, members will merit your post and the merit will help you to rank you up.

So to rank up...
ActivityRank
PROPORTIONED
MeritRank
PROPORTIONED
PolitenessRank
?
fMeritRank
?
ImaginationRank
?
VirtueRank
?
CoinsRank
?
KarmaRank
?

I have more on the topic itself...

I'm sure it's not April fool.

theymos definitely have clear understanding about that he/she is doing.
I tried to understand to figure out all these modules and their points. So far this is where I stand...

|Module name||Understood?||Know How to Calculate|
|Additional Comment|
|Activity

|Merit

|Politeness

How does uid and 1103515245 play it's role?
|Imagination

Guessing
Is this the number of images posted by a user?
|Virtue

So the less virtue someone has the better he/she is?
|Coins

I admit that I need to study the Conway's Game of Life to understand the rest of whole lot.

These whole lot will take few hours for me to understand.

PS: Anyone please can help me with my red painted ignorance or you can ignore it thinking it's an ImageLoading...

Thanks

I am still digging for the Conway's Game of Life
