Litecoin's Horoscope for week of November 7, 2013

In the coming week you will probably have more luck than usual if you play keno, craps, blackjack, bingo, or roulette. People who owe you money will be inclined to pay you back, so you might want to give them a nudge. I won't be surprised if you find a $20 bill lying on the sidewalk or if a store cashier accidentally gives you way too much change. In the wake of these tendencies, your main assignment is to be alert for opportunities to increase your cash flow. For example, if you wake up in the middle of the night with an idea for boosting your financial fortunes, I hope you will have a pen and notebook by the bed to write it down.

so you think this will be the week that LTC will shine..... well I hope so.
3002  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Ljubljana (Slovenia) meetup on: October 30, 2013, 08:34:40 AM
It was nice meeting. The topic/content was pretty basic, but still nice to hear some stuff that's new to me or displayed in different perspective.

yes did you donate anything ?  Grin  ,you once mentioned that around Bitcoin businesses the first thing comes up in the FAQ or websites is the "Donate button", it was a meeting so there couldn't be a donation button but they brought up the donation thing I couldn't resist the laugh because I remembered what you said.

3003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: October 29, 2013, 12:06:21 PM
The trend for crypto is... up (or, alternatively, down for fiat). I remember the March frenzy in altcos quite well and also the dead talks about crypto during a long 2012.
Cryptos dont need a product or plan, they are just protocols. Their inherent usefulness will do the rest, now and then fueled by a frenzy and continuous fiat fail.

Its inevitable.

Did you say fiat fail?

Hahahaaaa.

Bitcoin is fiat.  Litecoin is fiat.

And yes, all fiats eventually fail 100% - 100% of the time.

And you think this country will give rise and real value to hundreds of worthless fiats, crypto fiats backed by nothing, no one, with ZERO intrinsic value and attached to nothing or no one of value or importance?

I wish I could laugh but that's beyond ridiculous.  There will be one, maybe two big crypto fiats, Bitcoin and one more and the western governments will choose one to adopt and the ones which don't die on their own will be killed overnight, in the name of national security, with one simple executive order.

Don't get your hopes not your money on $1,000 crypto fiats all over the place or Litecoin being worth anything more than the sheer gift it had already received.

This is called reality and the slight disturbance we have witnessed thus far is for a preplanned purpose and will therefore, be very short lived.

So enjoy it while it lasts and make some money by being smart not dreaming pipe dreams with your eyes wide open.

Good luck.

you my friend have no idea of what you are talking about, take a moment and read what you wrote in this thread and compare all your posts against each other, you make no sense and you seem to not understand what you are talking about.

Quote
For Bitcoin is a phenomenon, and not the first in line of many more other worthless coins which will go to $1,000, so one would be incredibly fortunate to be able to find the next Bitcoin, if by some rare chance there will be another alt-coin to reach such ridiculous highs

Quote
So I suggest diversifying and look at the trend which says scrypts are dead and so diversify into SHA256 coins and I would strongly advise to buy a few thousand ixCoins.

Got what I mean when I say you make no sense and you have no idea of what you are talking about ? I will add something here, when you say Bitcoin or any other crypto has no real value, I would like to stop you here and explain to you how things get their own value. there is this thing called demand and there the other thing called supply, as simple as it gets, so lets say I need milk for my kids, what gives the milk any value ? why is it 1$/L why it is not 100$, well because the supply makes it worth 1$, lets say that something somehow will happen and the demand will rise and the suplly doesnt, you will see the price of that milk rising.

- that been said, we compare the value of things to Fiat, Euro...USD...CAD..... and this is the point of FIAT it makes it easier for us to deal with trading our goods and services giving each thing a FIAT value, but as you know your goverment and banks backup this currency, so it is attached to political and financial and... conditions, as the past proved us all, your FIAT keep losing its value against goods and services, simply because "its backed up" by someone who keep messing with it like printing more and making bad decisions.

and this is exactly what bitcoin came to solve, alts came to solve something that Bitcoin couldn't solve maybe it is not the best explanation, but each Alt came for its reason, and I am not talking about your shitcoin and all the drama going on on this sub-forum. Bitcoin is the future or maybe a start of a future revolution. your shitcoin is....well the name describe it.

I believe and when I say I believe, not based on emotions or anything else, I believe that Bitcoin and Litecoin will survive and I am sure that as long Bitcoin rise to success Litecoin will go side by side with it.

That's it folks. I sold all Sad Failure to overcome previous ATH creates a massive double top, it is hard to say where the price will go, but in 6 months my guess would be in the $13-$50 range. Thank you
Ok dont let the door kick you on your way out.

How much did you loose?

Everything man, i'm now picking a bridge to jump. Damn Google maps, their streetview sucks... cant tell the height....

you have the suicidal attitude, each time you bring up killing your self or advise people to kill them selves, I really do not want to hear what is behind that. but I think you need some help...

this is a good time to buy!

LOL yes of course.... not,  it is gonna correct to even lower price....

yup

just to remind you, that was your answer to if the Litecoin is dead. good night it make no sense arguing with you if you cant use common sense and you cant base any statement on facts
3008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: October 20, 2013, 10:07:46 PM
Why would it apply to Litecoin, and not the many altcoins out there?

It could apply to any coin, I wont include coins that have checkpoints which can be shutdown any time their developers decided to/or be forced to do it, any premined coins has to be excluded because this is the pure definition of a ponzi scheme, a coin which has asmall network hash rate that can be compromised has to be excluded as well.....

which leaves us with 3 coins BTC/LTC/NMC, would you think that gox are stupid to decide for these 2 alts ? and don't give me the gox is shit thing, because if it wasn't gox bitcoin would never come to what it is at today, despite the problems that they are having and shitty support and.... gox took one for the team and they have some credibility.

Litecoin needs only one step forward to get to mainstream and to get more adoption which will lead to more services, and this is a big exchange as gox or bitstamp adding it, then payment processor can be made and merchants can easily accept it as a payment method, and actually there is a payment processor that is almost done all we need is a big exchange..
3009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: October 20, 2013, 09:37:36 PM
I didn't know that there is so many Litecoin haters around
It has nothing to do with "hate" or emotions. The litecoin defenders are actually the ones full of emotions here.

emotions ? OK, lets base your statements on facts, so based on what Litecoin is dead/dying ? last time I did check it was doing just fine, and don't give the " it did crash"  BTC crashed so many times that if we base your statement on this BTC should be dead long time ago!

we still have a big volume, price is not $0 if this what you are referring to, well I call bullshit since Litecoin was at $0.07 just the start of this year, and now it is around $1.7 this is around 2400% rise, and yes BTC reached $260 and crashed to $60 so why didn't we call "shit BTC is dead" in fact BTC crashed so many times that if your statement is based on this fact then your logic make no sense...

Sadly you are proving my point. Read up on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=313331.0 and this has nothing to do with price fluctuations which you only seem to focus on, or with dumb statements like "it's not $0".

LTC just printed 0.00973 on MCX... then bounced back to 0.0110 within 5 minutes.
Ouch. That's the second most popular exchange right?

now really you are just talking no sense, you didn't provide any fact to base your statement at, the price of a coin is so important for its success because more important of services around it we have to compare it to fiat to see what purchase value it has, and when it gain more value this means it is gaining success and going mainstream, the price has to go up because there is a limited supply this is...... otherwise it would be the same as Euro or Dollar. I think you do understand that ?

looking to your profile and learning that you are around this community for 2 years makes me wonder of the understanding you have about Bitcoin, satoshi white paper wasn't only about the technical aspect of bitcoin but also about the revolutionary financial freedom it can bring.

when I create a system or a product the only way to judge its successes is the adoption and the volume of its use, this is what I am basing my statements at, the Gox news was a pump for the price that it corrected after few months, LTC was rising before Gox announcement (look at some charts) but it bubbled when gox announced the implementation it went right to $5.9 and it crashed the same time when bitcoin crashed.

for the sake of this argument I will add that I own both of coins BTC/LTC, but in my point of view LTC is undervalued, the same when we speculate about BTC reaching $1000 soon, I will speculate about Litecoin reaching $10, the same rules that apply to Bitcoins apply to Litecoin. ( my point of view if it matters to you)

there is so much happening around both Bitcoin and Litecoin that you really have to be ignorant to not see it.

I didn't know that there is so many Litecoin haters around, it has a been a while since last time I visited this subforum, but i have to say that there is so many new scam coins around here.... I do understand the hate around Alts because I am starting to feel the same, but litecoin and namecoin are one of the oldest and most useful and powerful alts that I would support/hold and accept as payment.

LTC was worth pennies not long ago, it had a really small network which now surpassed what bitcoin was at 2 years ago, there is always new businesses developing around it, a big trading volume, a great Dev team that also assist in Bitcoin developing at the same time, so it is going to mainstream slowly but, lets be realistic If LTC hits $10 in one year I would be more than happy.

Litecoin was never designed to take over Bitcoin and that wont happen, think of it as alternative the same as Visa/Master card, Bitcoin will be maybe the one big and only digital gold that any one would feel comfortable of holding, Litecoin is following Bitcoin and both are so big that they just cant die, except if the governments will kill if they cant regulate... this is the only scenario that I can think of when I hear bitcoin or litecoin will die
3012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Litecoin hit $1000 will Bitcoin survive? on: October 20, 2013, 08:24:56 PM

Sold half at 160 and the other half at 163, buying back at 150 or less, if not I am cashing out Smiley

all I know is when we have 20% raise in a couple of days is not a good sign, I am watching carefully, I was making big losses when the market went crazy, because it is hard to predict and it is even harder to get in/out at the right moment.

this time I wont get tricked, I wont lose money but I will use this chance to make up some of my losses.
3015  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: October 19, 2013, 12:15:34 PM
it is scary though, it reminds me of April bubble, a bubble is never a good sing, I would like to see the price stable at this price for more days then rise slowly again rather than rising too much and crash to $100

a bubble is never good for the long term health of the bitcoin market, it creates panic sell/buy which will keep most investors and normal people from trusting the coin.
3016  Economy / Speculation / Re: So who sold below $100 during the SR "crash"? on: October 18, 2013, 01:11:07 PM
I panic sold at $98 in bitstamp, I watched the price drop till 85 I didn't want to buy back there, I thought the price will drop even more, I went outside to smoke a cigaret when I went back price was rising around 96-97 $, I didn't want to buy, after 10 min it went up to 120$ and dropped back to 105$ and I still didn't buy, I thought maybe this is just the start, the price start climbing back, just then I knew I fucked up, I waited a couple of days to see price just going up, so I decided to buy LTC instead. I went all in LTC.

well even Litecoin isn't doing good, long story short, I lost a total of 20 BTC......

I'm sorry for your loss. Sad

Don't think Litecoin was a good decision though. Risk/reward much lower than bitcoin.

You still try to escape/makeup the loss, instead of accepting it, hence another poor decision.

Also, all-in can hardly be justified unless the market is at extremes, which clearly is not the case for Litecoin valuation.

Indeed great you recognize your mistake. Many don't do that so you are ahead.

Next step is not to take investment decisions with your emotions but instead ask questions 'what if it goes up from here, am I good?' 'what if it goes down from here, am I good too?', 'what are the chances that it goes up, what are the chances that it goes down?' etc. Try to listen to all your parts, the fearful and greedy, do not let one part of you take you over but hear them out, negotiate with them and take a decision that all your parts agree with and you will make much wiser decisions.

This speculation board is full of hypers and spammers that try to drag you into the market mood, often with 'hero member' status, watch out for them.

I do not listen to trolls and speculators, I usually try to analyze data, fellow the market and base my buy/sell decisions on predicted news or analyzes, though the Silk road news was something different, for a moment I didn't understand what was going on, I tired to read the news and decide what to do, but price kept dropping down before I got my shit together, this is why I panic sold out.... sadly after I sold all my BTC, I was sitting and reading what was the SR news all about, so I decided to buy back but at lower price to make some profit out of the situation..... and you know the rest of the story.

I witnessed few crashes, and we usually took some time to recover, but the last crash was unpredicted, zthe price recovered so fast, that it amazed me.

my decision about Litecoin was taking a great risk that might bring a great reward, the thing about LTC is that all traders on BTC-e are just jumping from one to another coin, as soon as BTC start rising they dump LTC and buy BTC, as soon as LTC start rising the dump BTC and buy LTC and all over again.

in all different situation i have been at, I found that buying BTC and holding it no matter what is the best thing you can do.

As you called me out on the other thread Bitcoinorama, I'll answer here so everyone can see.

You are absolutely barking mad. The reason you wrote the above was because you were called upon to prove you were a customer.

And you said you would seeing as you are intent on defaming a company that's bending over backwards to fulfill it's orders depsite whatever fud is being thrown at it currently.

So, as you promised; order number, what that order contains, and general location it's being shipped to.

I don't believe you are a customer, I do believe you are a troll...
I'll send you a photo when it arrives Bitcoinorama. In the meantime, suck my dick. I don't have to answer to some internet forum shill.

Pfff you shared a photo the other day with the fragile box.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg3315109#msg3315109

Anyone can share a photo. I can actually confirm you are a real customer right this second.

You've only shown interest in KnC since Sept and it's been solely to spread FUD the entire time.

See above. Go get me a fucking update on where the fuck my expensive miner is. I have no intention of cluttering up the forum with more on this. Now go do your job and treat the people who pay your salary with some respect.

What's your order number, what general location is it headed in the world?

so he will give you the order number next thing you know you guys at KNC fuck him and delay his order even more..... or you can do even worst as a revenge, just simply update these guys with  a real answer, you do not need his order number, allot of people wants some real and clear answers, as clear as the questions are....

I am not a customer of KNC or any other ASIC company , I did the right choice, each time I saw a product I thought twice before ordering and went strait and bought bitcoins instead and you know what, It is really paying off.

but watching your posts disgust me, you are the biggest shill I saw in my life, how can you sleep at night knowing that people trusted your words now they are fucked, i even saw a guy threatening that he has to get a refund or he is going to commit a suicide, maybe it seems stupid but when I saw that post I was shocked, Get your shit toguther it is going to get ugly, and do not forget this is not BFL allot of your customers are based in EU and you know what kind of law we have here......

here is what I exactly wrote show me what is wrong with it ?
You are using unnecessarily uncivil language, and you're advising people " it is going to get ugly," which sounds threatening.

Cut it out or you will be banned from further posting.

I have screen shots of each post as a prove, this is what we call freedom of expression... this is what Bitcoin was all about

3019  Other / Off-topic / Re: Big Guys be stealing my bucket! on: October 17, 2013, 08:25:31 AM
I worked in a photo lab when I was in college. This was back before digital cameras were in wide use. People would take photos at college parties and drop them off for one hour development.

Most of the photos were pretty boring. A group of guys or girls posing, obviously drunk. Beer cans, Solo cups. A couple bongs. And the occasional topless girl or someone puking. Nothing too unexpected.

But there was one guy that came in on a regular basis. His photos were always hardcore pornography. Spread eagle shots, blowjobs, facials. Gaping vaginas and assholes. I fucking loved printing this guy's stuff and put extra effort into getting the color balance and exposure just right. It got so that he'd ask for me every time he dropped film off.

He started showing up to the shop with a girl on his arm. The same one every time. He called her Amber, though I suspect that wasn't her real name. Let's just say that I already knew Amber more intimately than did her gynecologist. Nearly all the photos coming in at this point from this guy were of Amber.

As time went on, the photos got more and more extreme. At first, it was just her getting fucked or spreading her ass open. Pretty soon, a dick shoved down her throat and tears streaming down her face, her heavily-applied mascara smeared in an almost comical fashion. I printed one of these for my own pleasure and added the caption "Harlequin."

Pretty soon, it appeared, my favorite customer got involved in hardcore BDSM. Photos of Amber tied to the floor, helpless. Butt plugs that appeared to increase in size every time he came in. Clothespins on her nipples, down the backs of her arms. She still had bruising from these when I saw her once. She saw me admiring her love marks and gave me an almost demure wink.

Fisting. Double fisting. Gapes so large it looked like she just shit a watermelon. And then started the erotic knife play. Photos of Amber with a knife to her throat, red marks on her skin, then small cuts. Tears still streaming down her face. And every time I'd admire a scar when I saw her in person, she'd smile at me and whisper knowingly to my favorite photographer.

I graduated before I got to see where all this was going. Every time this couple would come in, I'd find myself furiously masturbating in the back room of the photo lab. She ruined me for other women. Sweet, innocent college girls would show me their tits or go down on me. But it was never quite enough. I dreamed of the horrible things I could do to a girl. I dreamed of my own Amber.

To this day, I don't think I'll ever be satisfied that I've found The One until I can reach inside her through her anus and feel her intestines moving her waste rhythmically, romantically, through her body. I don't think I can be happy until I can crawl inside her digestive system and hide from the world.

But isn't that ultimately what we all want? To find someone that we care about so dearly that the rest of the world doesn't matter?

holly shit hahahahahaha man you are kind of a freak, and the funnier thing is that you admit this on public... I guess this was just a joke I didn't get hahahahah

it is the company Fail that they got their PayPal account blocked, If they met the criteria they made their selves less people would be effected and would be happy with their service which would prevent something like that from happening.

completely untrue.

Pre-order sales get blocked anyway, our account was blocked the minute larger sums were received.

Ok sorry I will adjust what I said, it is the company fail to not fellow the clear PayPal terms of "no pre-orders or what so over" add to that what I just stated above, nothing personal, I kept out of this, I knew that this product with these "specifications" is not for me and I kept out, but other people decided to buy and it is your duty to deal with them.

sorry "our paypal account is blocked and we cant pay back" is not a real excuse, it is the same as if I borrow you money and you borrowed that money to your friend and when the paying date comes you tell me that you cant pay back simply because your friend didn't pay you back... simply I would reply your problem is not my problem.
