And many oga them for here go tell you say altcoins na shitcoins, say make you run away from investing there. Sometimes e deh happen like that weh dem talk but most times e no deh be so. Altcoins deh give money and altcoins deh reck people too. My own be say if anybody want to invest in altcoins make them look for solid ones weh get better team. No just follow follow coins weh people deh hype.

Dem no dey wrong my brother, If people been just buy and hold Bitcoin (including myself) we for dey better place pass where we dey now. Understand say no matter how much your altcoins gives you, e dey hardly give better return when you compared in satoshi value when you buy and wetin dey value be Now. Make I give you example back 2017 when normally if you been invest in Ethereum na better return you for dey get now in dollars but Ethereum done fall from I think around 0.3 satoshi to around 0.07 satoshi now. Which means although for dollars you profit but for Bitcoin you lose.

Then now Bitcoin scarce unlike Ethereum. The same thing you fit do with other altcoins as well. 99% of altcoins na scams and the other 1% wey dey try, big possibilities dey say dem no go dey around in the next 5/10 years. When we enter this market na privacy coins, masternode etc they reign but now nothing come out their side compared to defi, metaverse etc altcoins na majorly short term investment and no ever use Bitcoin buy instead use ur fiat like that and always they secure Bitcoin (very important).
3024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 26, 2022, 08:30:24 AM
This week's games both look boring, but also quite profitable unless something unexpected happens. We are talking about easy games to predict. Like Chelsea should beat Brentford, Liverpool should beat Watford, City should beat Burnely, these are all easy games, even United should be beating Leicester by the looks of it but that's a bit of a risk. Arsenal should beat Crystal Palace, and Spurs should beat Newcastle.

That mightn't be how it plays out especially the Arsenal and Manchester united winning against their opponent also don't forget players are just returning from international breaks and some will be tried. Chelsea for a fact I know will win their game against Brentford, because the team has been outstanding so far. With all the uncertainty in the club they haven't lost form instead it seems like they're beginning to pick up form. Brentford won't be a tough match, we won them easier in the first leg when everyone was thinking Brentford will get something from the game.

The top teams don't look like slowing down anytime soon but you can bet your money on Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United. These teams are inconsistency although Arsenal has been having some kind of stability lately as they have been winning their matches but you see out of this three clubs listed above, atleast one would lose their match.
3025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup qualifiers.. on: March 26, 2022, 08:02:06 AM
One goal is not very much indeed. Actually all the games were in a very good tradition of the Africa Cup where most games were decided by a single goal. I doubt this will change much in the 2nd leg games. So while one goal "normally" is not that much, it is quite meaningful under the African circumstances.
Tunisia and Algeria have more of advantage as they won their away-game. Egypt and Nigeria both do have another very tough game ahead.

Seems he doesn't know how vital, one goal is in Africa football, the physically; of the game makes it difficult to even score more than one goals. It take a very strong side playing against a lesser team to achieve that. Egypt having a one goal lead is a very strong advantage. Let's not forget Senegal didn't score against Egypt at the AFCON finals. They only won by penalty and we know penalty is a game of luck. This means senagal are finding it difficult to break the Egyptian defense especially with their incredible goal keeper at the middle of the posts.

I doubt Senegal can score two without Egypt replying in the second leg match. Senegal put themselves at a very big disadvantage in this game, probably the fans at home will give Senegal the strength they'll need in that game because Egyptian can just adopt a defensive style of football and go through to Qatar.
3026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup qualifiers.. on: March 26, 2022, 06:59:28 AM
The super eagles of Nigeria was denied a penalty, they should have won the game had it been they were awarded the penalty, meanwhile the friendly between France and ivory Coast is really interesting to watch, I was amazed by how ivory Coast dominated the match before losing it in the stoppage time. It ought to have ended up in a draw though

That wasn't a penalty, Iheanacho actually fooled the Ghanian player. Watch the reply closely and you can see Iheanacho's leg not just hitting but pulling that of the Ghanian player before he fell on the ball with his hands. I would had been furious if after the review the penalty stood. It would had meant the integrity of our official will keep be questioned. The match was quite interesting the watch and you could see the Ghanian been frustrated after they couldn't get an advantage on their home soil.

The returning leg will be played in Nigeria and the super eagles will be well prepared. I believe the game plan was always to draw at Ghana and not going there trying to win because that would had been costly for us and expose the defense. True be told, the Ghanian team were the better side just that they lacked that quality needed for a final finish.

Do you really think that 5 tickets to the World Cup are not enough for Africa? With every World Cup, there are 1-2 teams missing from Europe that can easily beat any African (or at least any African team outside of the top five). This year either Portugal or Italy will watch football on TV. It seems to me that this is a much greater loss for the World Cup than the fact that the 6th African team will not take part in the tournament.

I do think it's enough but don't using the justification of these Europe teams missing can easily beat any African team so they're better to be at the world cup than the African nations isn't necessary. They are prefect footballers that we already know but we been watching them play all year in their different clubs which doesn't interest me to watch them again. African teams has another vibe they bring to the internation games that these countries don't. It just like Brazil bringing their skillfulness to the game as African bring their physicality.

The Dr Congo vs Morocco games has already kick off, officially kicking off the fight for Qatar 2022 (African World Cup qualifiers). This games is an easy win for Morocco as they have already started testing the Dr Congo defense and they're in possession of the ball. In my opinion Morocco got the easiest draw of this feature considering the other teams that are playing each other.

Weldone everyone abeg I one make a request, as of now many people dey believe say the Altcoin season go lap for Crypto market soon, although I no dey believe in speculations, I gats the plan for anything, so I one request say make we share our Altcoins experience, the way we choose altcoin, anyone that has giving us financial heart ache and those that put smile on our faces.
I no many of us go benefit from this kind talk.

How you no go believe in speculations when the whole industry na just speculations e dey survive on. Without speculators the market no for dey active and probably die off the radar. This same speculation of the future been operated in the metaverse na him dey give the projects working in that sector exposure just as bitcoin been dey get previously based on people believing the current money system go soon crash and decentralized currency take over.

As for the Altcoin season, the truth be say this last bull cycle no end well. When we finish no body expect am so everybody still dy believe we get another move incoming. Of Bitcoin begin they pump as e dun dey show signs then definitely alts go benefit bit in my own opinion I no think low cap coins go benefit that much instead those too established coins especially those with links to metaverse fit follow Bitcoin they go up if this him current momentum continues.

[@bering link I hope that both Salah and Mane can play, because these two will push their teams limits to the maximum, and in turn this will provide us with a competitive match to watch. Also I feel that Egypt will be more motivated to win after that heartbreaking loss against Senegal in the finals, hence I strongly feel that Egypt will be able to beat Senegal.

Senagal is the most informed African nation, they're our best bet we have going into the world cup, if we intend seeing an African country go far. I can't even trust my nation to perform well but Senegal has all it take so obviously I'll be favoring them over Egypt. Mo Salah doesn't perform well with Egypt as he does with Liverpool so we shouldn't be expecting much. The last time this two met you can see Mane constantly putting in effort to motivate his team mate but Salah wasn't doing anything.

Mo Salah doesn't make this rivalry interesting to watch. Egypt surviving will totally depend on how good their goal keeper will be today. Egypt national team produce great goal keepers and we can see how good their goal keeper was at the just concluded AFCON. Hopefully he turns up to save them today against an attacking Senegal.
3031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade cryptocurrencies? on: March 25, 2022, 02:28:35 AM
Here are some of my sources I learnt my crypto trading:
3- WhatsApp : WhatsApp is another website you can follow in the community that will help you to differentiate fake project and real project in the community. There are many pictures and videos to watch to understand cryptocurrency trading and how to use it to make a huge amount of money from community.

Firstly WhatsApp isn't a website instead a social App that helps friends/businesses stay connected. If I understand clearly you're talking about groups created by individual to help each other in the space. While joining those kind of groups you have to be cautious though because they can easily be changed to some hype group for certain projects or use wrongly to scam noobs. Same thing can be said about the groups created on telegram as well. Remember humans hardly does anything that aren't profiting them.

Some articles have already been shared on this thread that are quite useful and if I was to give a pick, I'll go for the Binance's Blockchain & Crypto 101: Guide for Beginners from the Binance Academy. While the Binance's exchange is shit, their academy has some useful information that can be very helpful for any new users coming into the industry. Just spend sometime on their website and you'll get yourself informed without spending a dim.

3033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Occupational hazards of trading crypto on: March 25, 2022, 01:57:25 AM
The very first long-term occupational hazard i can think of is the development of High blood pressure...

What can you add to the list of dangers associated with making crypto trading a full time occupation?

Mine would be eyes issues, cryptocurrency traders spend so much time on the screen that they're liable to have some eye issue in the future. How to avoid this is knowing how to adjust your phone or laptop screen brightness to reduce the impact of light from the screens of your device on your eyes. Minimize you screen time and also you can also get a reading glasses to prevent your eyes from having direct contact with the lights from your screen.

Another hazard which I can think of is 'the miss out on potential future gains that the project invest in could have given in the long run. While this isn't a health issue, it still a financial issue. History has proven time without number that the best better of achieving financial freedom in the space is just by holding (investing) instead of trading.
3034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 24, 2022, 10:53:14 PM
I think being trader you need fast access to your coins and thus you can not have them stored on the wallets. True. But, keeping the tradable amount on the exchanger is completely fine in case of day trading. There is always good security these days for the crypto exchanges considering you choose the reputed one. Note that they are so secure as you can also choose to stake it funds on them.

Don't advocate staking on centralized exchange, they're never secured, better you stake on decentralized platforms that you can always have access to your funds whenever you want them. As for traders especially those actively day trading, you just have to risk storing your funds on the exchange. This is why we're advice to only use funds we're comfortable losing. Don't go over trading more funds than you can handle if you lose them as by storing them on a centralized exchange that means they're liable to hack (you losing them).

These days we have decentralized platform doing impressive volumes even more than centralized platforms that you can hold your funds privately in your wallet and still trade multiple coins using decentralised platforms like Uniswaps etc. You don't have to use the centralized platforms to get the full advantage iyf trading coins.
3035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 24, 2022, 10:42:15 PM
Dollar cost averaging, is a really an effective strategy to make use of, but it’s very important that you find the lowest point to make an entry into the market.

Dollar cost averaging isn't about entering the market at its lowest point instead it's a strategy use to avoid putting all your money into a project at ones and then the market declines. If it was about entering the market at the lowest point then there will be no need of dollar averaging your investment. If you get a project at it's lowest point then you just have to buy in and wait for an increased.

Dollar cost averaging your investment gives you an opportunity to buy into the market at every decreased the market experiences and reduce the outcome of you regretting buying at a higher price. Dollar cost average comes in handy because it's uncertain to know the actual bottom of Bitcoin or other cryptocurency of your interest.
3036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand or know the whale's next move? on: March 24, 2022, 09:18:07 PM
I don't think their is any channel or groups which you can find that, have heard or seen any group where whales meet, whales don't have organization so I don't think their is anyway you can know their next move and even if you meet a whale, I don't thing a whale will tell you their next move, they always make sure everything is secret and just known by them alone.

Whales do meet as from bots tracking their move are quite evident they do things in common, if they aren't meeting then they're tracking themselves because there has been Informations of top Ethereum Whales Wallet buying Shiba Inu and now apecoin. This isn't coincidental, assuming it just happened ones then it will be considered a coincidence but when it appears on multiple occasions then it isn't coincidental anymore.

Haven't you noticed how some of the top NFTs are owned by celebrities and top millionaire. I ones listen to a podcast that review of Whales calling themselves to get into this coins/NFT that it'll be a success based on informations they have. Information is key in the industry and those that have it only share among their peers.
3037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you share your key to your family? on: March 24, 2022, 01:36:37 PM
What's the benefits if after securing a financial freedom for yourself your family doesn't have the privilege to enjoy it after you pass away just because of you been too secure and not trusting those you call your family. Getting your family involved in the space should be a necessity. It could be your kids wife or siblings (if you aren't married yet) but atleast teach someone all you know so incase death was to call, you have someone who takes over.

You can either use a will or give that information directly to any of them you trust. Personally I have introduced some of my family member into the space and given directions on how to access some of my cryptocurrency investment, Incase something unpleasant was to occur to me. If you haven't done that yet, you should try it as it gives another sense of satisfaction knowing your family can access your assets when you're gone.

It's a shitcoin not worth going for.

All-time-high, $285677.51 according to Coinmarketcap (in September)
Average recent price, $1210 (Coinmarketcap)

It's a shitcoin not worth going for.

Thought as much, the coin name self no follow and for the fact only one person self dey carry am for head I no go surprised if e turn another ponzi scheme. Coinmarketcap sometimes no dey try, I understand them be just ranking site for coins but we know dem no be decentralized platform so why not just use ur centralized privilege and declined some of this coins listing. I fit remember that year wey projects dey use Coinmarketcap as achievement and some newbies still dey buy into that crab, thinking just because it's on coinmarketcap, it's worth investing/legit.

infact you personally e get as your money go long reach you no go send Nigeria again and whoever wants to be president.

Brother no be so oh, na person self wey no get money no dey reason who wan be president but you see this man dem wey hold, dem dey reason oh. Na president doings get make ur business grow or fall based on the economy of the nation. Imagine if buhari dey around for another eight years. 3040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 24, 2022, 09:50:51 AM
Even before the match will begin, Benfica should know they are out of league because Liverpool will win, that is certain. Villarreal is also good, but not to the point of Bayern, but Bayern can be somehow at times when away, but likely Bayern would win, it has more chances to win. About Atletico, Manchester City is likely to win, but I am not having confidence about this. About Real Madrid, this is the match that would be difficult to predict, I am not saying Real Madrid may not win, but very possible Chelsea win the match.

I see you're just going with the favorite teams on paper, while that's a smart move and that's what majority will be doing but I think we could see some disappointment in this quarter final. One or two big team could get knockout. This is champions league, all teams qualifed to this point have been exceptional and are capable of winning their game due to strategic approach and luck been on their side. I'm still believing this is going to be an all English finals and I'll be putting my bet on Chelsea vs Liverpool.

Obviously as a Chelsea fans, I strongly believe we can go pass Real Madrid and any of the team between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid (hopefully). We did it last season and if we were to play them again this season we could pull it otf. We facing Atletico means they'll be knocking out Manchester city and that's the strongest team on our road to the final. Manchester City getting knockout will be a disappointment and that could just be the disappointment I was talking about in the first paragraph of my post
