But in my opinion Senegal actually dominated Netherlands especially in first half. I don't think Senegal deserved a win but Netherlands also didn't. If Senegal had more luck they could win the match.

Or if Senegal had their finest player on the field then things would had been different. I must say, it was quite frustrating watching Senegal lose at the last moments of the game. I thought this would end in a draw as it seems nobody was able to penetrate the opponents goal. Senegal has proven themselves today but just lost focus at the later moment of the game but still that shouldn't take the moment from Netherlands as they did pushed on until they got their goal at the 84th minutes which gave them an advantage as Senegal started chasing the game.

Senegal has two more games to play and they'll all quite winnable, they just have to go back to the drawing table and strategize better to win those games convincingly. They shouldn't let the absence of Sadio Mane disorganized them and atleast play the remaining games to make him proud. The game against Qatar on firday shoudn't be joked with as Qatar also wants to make a statement with that match as it'll be very disappointing to see the host nation lose both games.

TW is a creation of Binance and not a Dex in the true sense.

Nope it isn't a creation of Binance entirely, it was acquired in 2018 by Binance attempt to buy everything in the industry. They bought Coinmarketcap and are still actively buying the whole industry and who knows if they're been funded by the Chinese government in order to take over the cryptocurency space. Centralization had never been good for the industry, instead it's holding it backwards. We would had been 10 times better off if the industry wasn't as centralized as it's currently. Looking at the way things are going, you'll realized slowing that we're losing the true essence of the creation of Bitcoin. Slowing we're losing the decentralization of the industry, things people think are decentralized aren't even decentralized.

For example, the popular decentralized exchanges we have today been used by the majority aren't truely decentralized while the supposedly P2P platforms aren't truely P2P as well so tell me how the industry is achieving it goals of enabling a decentralized transaction. Wasn't there news of the former CEO of the second largest exchange that just collapse (FTX) was lobbying for decentralized finance (DeFi) to be regulated in the US. Centralized platforms are misinforming new users and before they realize it, it's already late. Centralization has never been a goodnews and they're definitely not one to the cryptocurrency industry.

Senegal will miss Sadio Mane on their World Cup journey, but don't count them out
Senegal really is not the same without Sadio Mane. I was expecting since he has been ruled out of the world cup due to his injury that another Senegalese will take it as an opportunity to show that they are capable to step up to the challenge of pushing attack. The Senegalese players kept going back anytime they got close to the dutch goal and couldn't take their chances, just too bad and poor football from our African champions. Mendy has just been bad and terrible since he became unreliable...no improvement from him and no confidence like before, he cost Senegal this game and should be disappointed in himself. I hope Cameroon don't play this kind of football.

I think we have to count them out because without Sadio Mane there's no Senegalese team. Just as we saw with Liverpool this season, the moment Sadio Mane left the club, we could see the weakness in the team get exposed and other teams are punishing them. Sadio Mane don't just have an impact in the attacking force of any team he plays in but also coordinate the defense starting from the front line and that's something the Senegal side will miss. But I just hope that won't be the case with Senegal and the Senegalese squad can find a way to surprise us this tournament. They're our best hope and without Sadio Mane playing the tournament it seems like that hope has been shattered.

Sadio Mane is the best player in Africa and second best player in the world currently just behind Benzema and both players are a doubt at the world cup, we haven't even reach anywhere and this is looking like my worst world cup already. Our best player in the continent won't be representing us and that's just sad which gets me wondering why clubs overplay important player's when we have tournament likes this coming up in just few days time.

Really happy to see Chelsea are trying to sign a new goal keeper, Jordan Pickford from Everton is the one candidate [1]. Pickford is quite good since Everton usually not suffer losses with many goals and mostly Everton match was draw. I always say the main problem of Chelsea is their goal keeper, Kepa is good but he's currently injured so they don't have any choice and let Mendy to play again.

Chelsea problem isn't defense instead it's the midfield and wingbacks, any team that dominate those positions easily score us lots of goals. We have great defenders but when you put defenders under too much pressure than they can absorbed then they'll break and the keeper will be left exposed. We should be more focused on signing quality defensive and creative midfielders. The current ones are very average. Players like jorginho can't be relyed on as he's very poor defensively and players like Kovačić isn't that creative and neither is any of the midfielder we currently have excluding mason mount.

The right wingback which is the position of Reece James is lacking a like to like replacement incase Reece James is injured . Positions as this are what the club should be focus on and not signing players we have in good quality. Mendy and Kepa are good goal keepers and don't forget we also signed another goalie in last summer window so why do we need another goalie when we have three quality ones already.
2087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 22, 2022, 07:13:58 AM
The first games in the Champions League don't really matter. For example, last year Sheriff in the first two rounds beat Shakhtar and then Real at the Santiago Bernabeu and led the group, but then everything fell into place. Everyone understood that Chelsea would advance to the next stage, the only surprise for me was that they scored 6 points in the games with Milan, I expected 4.
At the moment, Chelsea are extremely far from being favorites to win the Champions League. Bookmakers estimate their chances as 1 to 13.

Why should that surprise you, are you forgetting that Chelsea was the last two seasons tournament winners that surprised the whole world when they fought their way through to the finals and defeated an informed Manchester city side to lift the trophy. Chelsea has excellent players but just lack a manager to motivate them correctly. We could all see how good the side is when the players gets the right motivation from the manager (Thomas Tuchel using this underrated squad to lift the trophy and Potter going from last in the group to winning the group).

Last two seasons, we weren't favorite as well but yet we lifted the trophy while defeating all the so called favorites. This season I'm not over expecting much from the players since we're yet to have a full squad, the like of Kante and Reece James are injured and that's giving some unbalanced to the team. When we do get our full squad back, I can bodly say we'll defeat any team that dares to stand in our way of lifting the trophy. Potter is an excellent manager, this is just a phase that'll pass and I'm expecting that after the world cup break, Chelsea should easily return to their previous form of winning games convincingly.
2088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 22, 2022, 06:52:20 AM
The only reason Chelsea fired Tuchel was because Chelsea performance has been inconsistent since the start of the season. Chelsea appoint Potter as Tuchel successor because the coach managed to make Brighton one of the teams that could compete in the big six.

That wasn't the reason why Thomas Tuchel was sacked, Chelsea has barely played a high number of games to determine the sack of Thomas Tuchel. Todd Boehly sacked Thomas Tuchel because he was the last piece of the Roman Abramovich era left at the club. If you noticed, every other top executive has been fired or they resign volunteering as the new owners wanted to build their structure from the scratch and also there has been rumors of both parties (Boehly and Tuchel) having misunderstanding in what's needed for the club.

For example, Boehly needed a star figure at the club which lead to the club wanting to bring in Ronaldo in the summer but Thomas Tuchel didn't buy into that ideas and that's when their misunderstanding started. When Thomas Tuchel was sacked there were news from trusted sources that the sack had nothing to do with the form that Chelsea has been on but because of differences of what's best for the club from both parties and the this tension between the manager and owner has been ongoing for sometime.

NEW TOPIC: History as Buhari Supervises Crude Oil Drilling in the North
Quote
For the first time in history, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to officially kick off the drilling of crude oil in the north on Tuesday, about two years after the mineral resource was discovered in the region. This is a major boost to the efforts by the federal government to ensure that the region produces crude oil in commercial quantities.Specifically, the president will conduct the ground-breaking ceremony of the Kolmani Oil Prospecting Lease (OPL) 809 and 810 at the Kolmani field site located in Bauchi and Gombe states.

The president is expected to carry out the historic exercise with the support of the Minister of State for Petroleum, Mr. Timipre Sylva and the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, among others, THISDAY gathered. It was further learnt that the oilfields in Bauchi and Gombe states will be developed by Sterling Global Oil, New Nigeria Development Commission (NNDC) and the NNPC Limited. “The ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 22, and will be attended by Mr. President himself together with most of his cabinet members including...

Sha wetin you dey think of this new discovery and how e go affect the counter both positively and negatively?.

Hectorians! The ZAP Function has just been integrated into the HEC-USDC farm of the Emission Plan!

From now on you can create the HEC-USDC LP just using one of the two required tokens (either HEC or USDC). The ZAP function will automatically convert half of your tokens into the other one, creating then the requested LP!

Wish you a good day!

Even as bi like dis, I believe say bitcoin is still All Time High (ATH).

That thread no dey in anyway associated with FIFA so FIFA never adopt Bitcoin if not e for dey all over the news. That thread na just sponsored prediction thread wey dat casino dey organize for the world cup and dem dey steadily run am for any tournament wey show up. I think the only thing FIFA been do wey concerned cryptocurrency na when dey partner with Algorand for their NFT collection.

BTC go definitely go up, like dat one na one sure thing wey dey this world wey we dey so. The way Bitcoin was built, if demand for am continue dey increase soon we no go fit afford one Bitcoin again and already self that one na strong problem for many of us as e dun dey even too cost to afford at the moment. Ehhh ehh as this world cup dey start so, which country you dey support as our own country no dey play the tournament?.
2093  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: first time using P2P on exchanges you may learn from this on: November 20, 2022, 04:56:48 PM
4. don't keep your coin on the exchange when you not ready for transactions: don't procrastinate or be ignorant of sending your coin not in use to your personal wallet. you not the owner of the exchange so funds in it aren't completely yours.

The minute you don't have full control over your funds, it basically means that coin isn't yours. P2P is meant to be a transaction between one individual to another, provided you have to trust some centralized platform to store your coin for you while you search for a buyer than you aren't actually trading P2P. It quite unfortunate that the centralized exchange has made it seem like trading with them through their so called P2P service is actually the right way to trade P2P. Many newbies coming into the industry has been misinform by this but thankfully we still have a forum like this that'll correct those wrong information.

Here are some simple things to note yourself; the moment a platform required you to deposit on their exchange then you aren't actually trading P2P, usually this platforms will require you to complete some verification process which includes giving them some private information through KYC procedures which contradict the whole point of trading decentralized. You see platforms like Binance, Okex, Kucoin etc they aren't ideal platform for carrying out P2P transaction, use the platforms suggested by the user @o_e_l_e_o.
2094  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: November 20, 2022, 04:24:38 PM
while I went in on a single portfolio of Bitcoin and when the unexpected of FTX hack happen the whole market in shamble and his altcoin portfolio have dropped above %800+ but my bitcoin holding still maintains some level of stability.

Just to point the obvious out, FTX collapses wasn't caused by the hack that later happened to the exchange and I won't be surprised if that hack was organized to hide the true scam that Sam Bankman-Fried was into which was making used of customers funds for personal gains. I see news media blaming the collapse on the hack but that's not true and the community shoudn't be misinformed. With or without the hack, FTX would had still gone down because their unethical practice was exposed and trust was been lost by their customers which triggered the massive withdrawal of funds from the exchange.

That been said, as a newbie, the best decision you can make for yourself is investing in Bitcoin and hoarding enough before the price get out of reach of affording a whole Bitcoin. Altcoins are never the best way to get introduced into the market. When you have the right information and experience then you can play with that side of the market but your main focus should always be accumulating as much Bitcoin as possible and you'll be safe.
2095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happens if binance and tether goes down on: November 20, 2022, 04:04:41 PM
Is it really over for crypto if Binance exchange or Tether go bankrupt like FTX? Can crypto survive without the centralise organizations and projects?

Just as others have commented, no it isn't over for the cryptocurency industry if those scenario you mentioned above does occur instead it'll push for more decentralization of the industry and increase awareness for the use of more of dApp instead of centralized ones. Just to take you back memory lane, back when Mt. Gox exchange was still in function and arguably more powerful than Binance, it got hacked and that didn't end the cryptocurrency movement. For more clarity read;.
Quote
The first major crypto hack occurred in 2011 when the crypto exchange Mt. Gox lost 25,000 bitcoins worth approximately $400,000.  At that time, the crypto exchange was handling nearly 70% of all bitcoin transactions. The attack didn't stop and Mt. Gox was attacked again in 2014. It lost almost 650,000 of its customers' bitcoins, and around 100,000 of its own. At the time that was 7% of all bitcoins, and worth around $473 million. Initial reasons for the coins' disappearance were unclear, but later evidence showed that the coins were stolen from the company's hot wallet.
Source: https://www.investopedia.com/news/largest-cryptocurrency-hacks-so-far-year/

As you can read, back then Mt. Gox was incharge of 70% of all Bitcoin transaction yet that hack didn't end the Bitcoin movement. Today although binance is the most dominant exchange but we have other options out there that even as dominate as Binance is, institutional investors still has other exchange they used for their purchases.
2096  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What have Bitcoin or crypto change in your life? on: November 20, 2022, 03:40:20 PM
Because commonly, investment is only for rich people who buy the stocks or property. But crypto isdifferent, thsi si for everyone as long as they have litle money and lwant to inevst in crypto. But this is also risky and tricky, that is why elanring and preparing oursleves to invest in cypto is a must with good knowledge.
Investment has never been for the rich, the thing is just that the rich have so much money to invest a larger sum than what a poor person could afford, and a rich person would definitely have more that enough to take care of their bills and still invest, but those with little money would prolly have none left for investment after they have had their bills settled.

Actually the rich and elite of the society made it so difficult for the poor masses to get their hands on opportunities that could changed their financial story through investment and that's why majority of them are against cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) as it presented a way out for the poor masses. Even today we can see the elites (which we call the whales) still having a major say in the ways the market move but what makes cryptocurency different from other investment vehicle is that the opportunity is on equilibrium for all parties.

For example, the average users can't get into early opportunity in Real estate or stock market investment like they can do with cryptocurency which will increase their chances of profiting from their investment. With stock and real estate, only the elites gets this chances and they hoard this information for themselves or close pals but with ICO, IDO open presale in cryptocurency everyone no matter the financial class can get their hands on this early opportunity.
2097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I hope it's finally over for CEXs on: November 20, 2022, 03:24:50 PM
Remain blessed for that observation. Those who think Dexs are possible replacement for Cexs aren't being logical about it at all. I once asked someone who suggested Bisq as a great Dex to be used instead of any Cex (including Binance) and I drew the person's attention to the low volume there and few coins Bisq has too.

I haven't used Bisq so can't say much about the exchange but I'm a big believer that Dexs can overtake centralized exchange. Thankfully big platforms like FTX just showed the world that no matter how you think a centralized exchange is big and can't be touched, they aren't invisible. When we talk about volumes, everyone that was active during the days of Defi hype can testify how mighty Uniswap was and were competing with the big centralized exchange with volume. Personal I haven't used any centralized exchange when I want to trade Ethereum tokens or Binance tokens (I used pancakeswap and Uniswap respectively) and they have quite decent volume.

Anyone that grows to understand Dexs will realize that they're more convenient than cex, on my trust wallet app (the dApp function) makes it easier to swapp/trade tokens as easily as possible and also faster than centralize exchange that I have to wait until a certain confirmation before my coins are accessable.

The pair face increasingly uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge amid respective contract disputes.
Source: https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/transfer-news/liverpool-mount-kante-chelsea-transfer-25556815

I don't think it'll be advisable for any premier league side to sign Ngolo Kante, I understand that he's an incredible player both at full and half capacity but he has gone past his prime amd now a liability for any club that sings him especially any club that intend to be competitive in their local or champions league. Liverpool should be wise enough to not fall for this trap suggestions as, there are better players out there that are worth signing. I don't think Liverpool would want a leftover of Chelsea and Mason mount rumors will just end as rumors as I doubt he'll be leaving Chelsea anytime soon.

All this speculations of him leaving are just strategy to use in negotiating a better deal for himself. Players use this all the time just as when Mbappe used the Real Madrid interest to get himself his current deal at PSG. Although Mason Mount shoudn't demand too much to put pressure on himself as if he gets on a very high salary and doesn't deliver weekly that'll lead to backlash and could affect his game.

Chelsea performance in this season made people to feel bad about the team because since they sacked Thomas tuchel from Chelsea made some of their potential players to lose focus in their position. The way this new Chelsea manager is benching some of their strikers that know how to achieve early goals that will bring victory at the end of the game, show that this new Chelsea manager cannot help the team to win this trophy.
.
People are acting like Chelsea wasn't horrible at the end of Thomas Tuchel era, I understand that we won the champion league with him but what happened a year later, Chelsea got totally humiliated by Real Madrid at their home and couldn't hold a lead we were having that could have taken us to the next stage of the competition and who knows maybe we would had been able to defend the title which is something no premier league side has been able to do. Chelsea picked up form immediately Potter was signed and we are still in the tournament.

Assuming Thomas Tuchel wasn't sacked we would had gone out of the competition by now. Thomas Tuchel was playing a not so interesting football that revolved around passing the ball at the back without having any upfront force to put the goal at the back of the opponent post. With Potter, we're trying to be a little direct and with time we shall perfect that playing strategy and start winning games.
