2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 30, 2022, 06:18:40 PM
Manchester City by far has a better squad and depth likely to win the league no arguments on that, but still, if Arsenal maintain same consistency they're winning the Premier League. So far with the world Cup, most of them important players are not being used. They're all going to be back well fit to run off the final lap.

Actually, Thomas Partey is been overused by Ghana (and they have no choice than to make use of him) as he's the force behind their midfield and one of the reason Ghana  has a very strong midfield-wise and has been able to be as competitive as they have been in this tournament. Thomas partey is also very vital to the Arsenal midfield and if they were to lose him to injuries then things might worsen for Arsenal. Arsenal has no squad depth which Is true and that's going to be an issue considering all the tournament they have to play.

Arsenal needs to let go of some tournament so they can focused on achieving the premier league title. If they miss this chance of winning the league, I don't think they'll have similar opportunity in the near future. Teams that are usual contenders and top four occupants aren't performing so well currently so they should better take full advantage of this opportunity and win the title and also to prevent pep Manchester city from making the league look childish.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 30, 2022, 05:54:59 PM
I personally believe the same thing as well, I think Chelsea is a better team and yes they have been having a bit of a hard time so far but that doesn't mean that they suck, or suddenly worse, they are still pretty good team that is playing worse than they should, but not at a bottom level. Lets see what happens but I see Chelsea as a better team than most teams aside from the very top names.

If you're looking for an underdog that can win the champions league then it's definitely Chelsea. Tottenham are no where near Chelsea for there to be a comparison. Back home in London we're the most awarded club in the past decade and I'm sure we'll also be the most awarded club overall if the statistics are brought out. Chelsea poor performance is due to poor management ability by our newly appointed manager and not that the players are bad ones. Just look at the ongoing world cup competition, you'll notice how Chelsea players are dominating the game they played in and winning 'Player of the match award'  if the players were that bad then they shouldn't have be called up or turning up for their nations.

Chelsea has won 2 champions league trophy in the last decade with their recent just coming two seasons back. Tottenham are in no way on the same level as Chelsea neither are they better than us. Chelsea poor form is just temporary as everything will be resolved after the world cup has ended. Our injuried players will return and with the likes of Reece James fully fit, we should be able to have out attack back on track to score goals and win games

Incredible things are happening in this tournament. France, one of the teams we think will be champions, lost to Tunisia. I really didn't expect this.
It's nice to see surprise results like this, even though the tournament isn't going well overall. I enjoy that teams that are not very strong beat very good countries. Congratulations Tunisia Smiley

Tunisia winning France was unexpected but wasn't impossible considering France will be reserving their players for the round of 16 game. They have already qualified and had nothing to play for meanwhile Tunisia had to put in all on the line in trying to win then hope the other game favors them. Irrespective of Tunisia winning France, they still will be going out of the competition and that saddens me as I was routing for my continent nation as the more nations we have progressing to the next stages, increases our chances of winning this tournament.

All attentions now turns to group C with their last group games been played in few hours time. Poland vs Argentina, Poland just need to secure a draw in the match for them to progress to the next stage and I think they'll achieve that. Poland Is either winning or drawing this game and not losing to Argentina. If the lose then they should start packing as Saudi Arabia is definitely winning mexico and progressing to the round of 16.
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: November 30, 2022, 05:19:52 PM
Tunisia - France
This is a game where France has already moved on to another phase, so I think they won't be tough against Tunisia, maybe Tunisia has a chance of beating Franca, or will Franca decide to go heavy just for ego? I don't believe they will do that, now the question will be if tunisia will be able to beat a team that will not be strong, if tunisia loses in this game then it's all over for tunisia

So Tunisia was able to defeat France but still couldn't progress to the round of 16 as Australia defeated Denmark with the same scoreline 1:0. The Tunisia vs France game was filled with drama as a late equalizer from France was cancelled after the VAR review. Which means tunisia can hold their head high while leaving Qatar as they defeated the current champions of the tournament. I think France didn't play to their full strength as you predicted as they're already in the next round of the competition. Although they controlled most of the game, Tunisia still won and that's some positive results to take home with them.

Tunisia player, Wahbi Khazri also made history today by been the first African player to score in three consecutive starts for his national side at the world cup, he scored against Belgium and Panama in the 2018 world cup & today scored against current champions France. The poor form of the African teams in the first game of the competition is going to be the reason we'll be seeing teams leaving Qatar at the end of the third game.

2046  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there best way to seek people's attention on bitcoin? on: November 29, 2022, 04:02:44 PM
From my understanding, I never hold any bitcoin or something else but I love it from the very onset I began to know about it which I picked interest upon myself to evangelize to the world.

Firstly, own some Bitcoin then you'll realized it doesn't need people's attention instead people need it. Anyone who wants to change their finances status in this modern day is constantly looking for ways to do such, therefore they'll definitely come across investing in Bitcoin and cryptocurency in general. Bitcoin does has the capacity to sell itself and we have big third party service providers doing the advertisement for it just to get users on their own platforms. What you should be focus on is how to educate yourself properly so you can passed down that information when the chances present themselves.

The problem the industry is facing, Isn't about people not coming into the industry but the information they're receiving, that'll the area we're lacking behind and thankfully we have a forum like this that isn't censored yet to fit the narrative of centralization by the government. Therefore you should focus your energy on giving out the correct information to already existing users before thinking of bringing in new users and there's no better way of doing that than owning some bitcoin yourself.

NEW TOPIC: Nigeria SEC to Avoid Cryptocurrencies in Digital Assets Push what's your take on this development?.
Source: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-11-27/nigeria-sec-to-avoid-cryptocurrencies-in-digital-assets-push?

Quote
Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission does not plan to include cryptocurrencies in a plan to improve trading in digital assets until regulators agree on standards that protect investors.

The commission is avoiding the digital currency as crypto exchanges do not have access to the banking platform that is needed to drive their trades in Nigeria yet, Director-General Lamido Yuguda told reporters in Lagos, the nation’s commercial hub. “We are looking at digital assets that really protect investors,” not necessarily crypto, Yuguda said.

As I see this news the thing just weak me abi I no read am well so I say make I come drop am here make we look into the matter. So while others country wey their economy dey shake they try see how dem go tap into the cryptocurrency industry to benefit all, our own still dey follow people wey their economy strong dey do negative negative towards the industry. Wetin dis news come mean now, abi dem dey try talk say since the industry no dey centralization dem no go look him side.

If he wants competition and wants to play in competitive league then he would have stayed in Manchester United. He wants to be treated as a top star in a club and given all those favoritism that a club can offer. Ten Hag didnt give any of that shit to him therefore he cant stand it any longer in Manchester United. He is no longer the same player as he was 3 years ago yet he still wants to be treated that way

Manchester united can't compete for anything so why would he want to be in a club like that, we all saw the transfer rumors of Christino Ronaldo signing for Manchester city before Sir Alex Ferguson changed his mind, right from the on set he wanted a club that are competitive and want to win games and not a club that's is been ran by clueless owners. No coach should disrespect any players and Christino Ronaldo isn't just a player, he's one of the elite footballers still playing and has an impressive career to show for that.

Other coaches has acknowledge Ronaldo's professionalism and you think he'll throw that all alway now that he's at the end of his career, obviously the club and coach must have done something that he didn't like for him to have acted the way he did and all this was to force himself out of the club as it seems the clubs didn't agree to let him go. If Ten Hag had respected himself things won't have gotten to this level.
2049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 29, 2022, 10:53:49 AM
I know that Ronaldo is a rich person, and he probably has a lot of money so he doesn't "need" more money but to refuse that kind of money never made any sense to me. First of all he is no longer the type of guy that can lead a UCL level team, I mean Sherrif was in UCL last year, I do not mean that, I mean a team that is looking to win the whole thing, he won't be there.

Ronaldo makes more money off the field than he does on the field playing so it's never about the money. Ronaldo has passion for football and competition, Ronaldo needs competition to excel that's why he wants to keep playing at the most competitive league so he stays motivated and give in his 100%. Ronaldo is the most followed individual on Instagram with half a billion followers and he can make as much money from that than most footballers make today and he does have other businesses that generates him income to make his career all about money.

Al Nassr will definitely benefits more than any money they're offering to Ronaldo as he's among (if not) the most influential people on the planet. Their social audiences will increase so will their tickets sales and other merchandise meanwhile such move might put an end to Ronaldo career in a bad way. His counterpart (Messi) will be competing at the top level and you're expecting Ronaldo (that's one of the world most competitive player) to go lay low?.
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 29, 2022, 10:43:46 AM
If you want to look at the window towards Ronaldo you could see troubles there too. I am not saying Benzema is better or anything, of course not, Ronaldo was an elite football player but we could always accept that sometimes it's good to part ways. Benzema became ballon d'or winner whereas Ronaldo is currently literally teamless.

Wait are you trying to compare the clubs that Ronaldo went to with Real Madrid that's filled up with generational talents. Benzema is been basically carried by those youngster at the club. He's getting all the praise now but for Real Madrid to advance to the finals wasn't even Benzema doing instead it was Rodrygo that had to come save the day at the 90th+ minute meanwhile Ronaldo played in the worst Manchester united team and still came out with about 18 goals or more in the premier league while saving Manchester united from loss on several occasions. Even his time at Juventus also saw him giving them countless goals and incredible performance.

The quality of team members Ronaldo has been playing with since his departure from Real Madrid are poor and you can't expect a 36+ year old players to carry on such stress. If Benzema was to leave Real Madrid today, he'll be going to China or some unknown county that's if anyone will be willing to sign him.
2051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 29, 2022, 08:53:09 AM
Ronaldo fails to score but Portugal has reached the pre-quarter finals of the World Cup after defeating Uruguay 2-0 by Bruno Fernandes.
Even without Ronaldo scoring a goal yesterday, the success of the Portuguese team is still directly linked with to him. We all know his someone that likes to score and individual success but, what he tends to live just as much is the Portugal team going to the next stage of the tournament which is already archived with 6points ahead of there group.

Here's the fact, without Ronaldo's influence in yesterday game, chances are that Portugal won't have won that game. Go back and watch the replay of the first goal. The ball was intended to be pass to Ronaldo by Bruno Fernandes for a header. Although Ronaldo didn't touch the ball but his influence in distracting the goal keeper made that ball to find the back of the net. The keeper was watching Ronaldo to identify were the header was going but unlucky the ball miss Ronaldo's head and went passed the goal keeper. The media has to stop spreading agenda because Ronaldo was happy for Bruno Fernandes. Anyone would had want that to be their goal if they were in Ronaldo shoes.

Ronaldo Isn't the first player to celebrate a goal that they thought was theirs and it wasn't later given. This is Ronaldo's last world cup and he really wants to leave a positive impression behind as he retires from football. People have travelled from thousands of miles just to watch Ronaldo score from open play so don't kill the guy for wanting to score and thought he did. Atleast Portugal still won the game and they're through to the next stage of the tournament and that's all that matters.
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: November 29, 2022, 08:37:30 AM
It looks like African teams are getting motivated in the second round, we barely counted goals for African nations in the first round until Ghana got two goals and now we are even getting 2 to 3 goals in one game which is really surprising. I'm so proud of Ghana today for winning Against South Korea and scoring 3 goals in the game is an outstanding performance for the team.

I was anti-ghana in that game, Ghana are the only African team to have scored two or more games in each of their matches at the world cup this year but still I'm not routing for them to win. Ghana is Nigeria greatest African rivalry and one that has been fought for years. The rivalry isn't just because of football as it ranges from food, music, language etc. I was excited when South Korea equalized as already the Nigeria super eagle were been trolled by the Ghanian all over twitter after they went two goals up.  Sadly that joy didn't last as Ghana got the last goal that won that that game.

Irrespective of me not believing in Ghana, they have surprised me and everyone so far, their next game against Uruguay is a must win for them as there's so many history in that game. The last time both nations met at the world cup, Luis Suarez hand ball caused Ghana the chance to make history as the first African team to reach the semi finals at the world cup. Once again I'll be anti-ghana in that match and hope Uruguay can secure a ticket to the next stage ahead of Ghana.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 29, 2022, 07:11:16 AM
I'm pretty sure Chelsea signed Aubameyang because of the number of goals he was scoring when he joined Barcelona, he scored up to 10 goals in the few number of games he played when he arrived at Barcelona which made me conclude his poor form at the end of his Arsenal career was all acted but now I understand he was so lazy on the pitch which also caused Barcelona to sell him in the summer and now Chelsea have to face same set backs with Aubameyang leading their attacking line.

Aubameyang isn't the problem of Chelsea but the wingers and midfield is the problem. You can have more than one striker having the same issue of not getting balls passed to them after they get into good position and still think the strikers are the problem. Aren't you seeing strikers like Haaland getting as many as possible, ball passed to them at the opponent goal post which give him more opportunities to score. We don't have creative midfielders at Chelsea and neither are our wingers crossing in balls into the opponent penalty area for our striker to attack.

When the overall performance of the team is bad, you can't expect a striker like Aubameyang to excel, he'll need services of the ball which he isn't getting. Potter needs to play wingers that can cross in ball so we can focus our attack on Aubameyang. Hakim ziyech is a good crosser but still don't understand why he isn't been used by potter. We can see how quality he has been in the world cup, if Chelsea can get such performance from him week in and out, then we'll be having more chances of winning games.

Where does anyone get the idea that Real is not among the favorites to win the Champions League?
Also, why do you think Real were only favorites when Ronaldo played for them? In my opinion, Benzema replaced him very well.

Benzema replace Ronaldo very well? That's funny, how many champions league were Real Madrid able to win with Benzema after the departure of Christino Ronaldo. When Ronaldo leaves your club you can hardly replace him as he's irreplaceable. Since Ronaldo departure from Manchester united (the first time) Manchester united has found it impossible for him to be replaced and same can be said about other clubs he has played for. Sure you can get another player that'll bring his style of play to the team but not a Ronaldo replacement.

I don't think we can ever see a player as Ronaldo again, his mentality, dedication and determination he brings into games are out of this world. I have no doubt that Benzema has been good for Real Madrid but for how many seasons? This is what makes Ronaldo stand out from the crowd. You can't compare Ronaldo's Real Madrid era with that of Benzema, that's just disrespect on CR7.

After this outstanding performance by Hakim ziyech at the world cup today, it just got me wondering if the player will still insist on his move away from Chelsea or will Graham Potter give him more game time. Hakim Ziyech is a great player and would had been very deadly for Chelsea at the left wing but I still don't understand why Coaches aren't giving the player some playing time. You can't just ignore a player as Ziyech just because of few bad games. You have to give the player time to have some relationship with the squad to fully developed into the team.

I was thinking with the introduction of Graham Potter at Chelsea that things will be different with Hakim ziyech but it seems he's ignoring the player just as Thomas Tuchel was ignoring him during his time at Chelsea. I don't know the vibes Ziyech gives at training that's making coaches not start him at the wings when he's a brilliant winger but I hope things get resolved so that won't result to him leaving Chelsea. He's a brilliant player that we can't afford to lose.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: November 27, 2022, 05:03:26 PM
We do not have to see any defeat of African country as a disgrace, especially when we know that our own country did not even make it to the world cup. This is sports, there is going to be winners and losers.

Just because Nigeria didn't make it to the world cup doesn't mean I don't have the right to criticize the other nations that are representing African at the world cup when they play badly. We have criticized Nigeria and the likes of Egypt which are power house of Africa football already in the past for not been represented at Qatar so now if the representing countries aren't doing well we can criticize them as well and maybe next time they won't bother going if they know they won't showcase the Africa football that we all want to watch.

Thankfully Morocco has continue on the success of Senegal and joined the likes of Japan and Saudi Arabia in causing a shocker at the world cup. Morocco just defeated the golden generation (Belgium) 2:0 and it was fun to watch especially as one of my most loved left winger Hakim Ziyech, just gave an awesome performance. As it stands, Morocco are top of their group which is unlikely for an African nation but I'm loving it. I don't think they can miss out of qualifying from the group stage at this point.
2060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 27, 2022, 03:44:29 PM
coach of japan seems not to think, he had 11 players who played very well against germany more than 45% of them were replaced by other players, so I don't know what the hell the coach of japan had in mind, it was clear that those 11 of the japan who played against germany were the best players, but this coach doesn't seem to know that when something is good you shouldn't change anything

Did you watch the match, the Japanese side were actually the better side and deserve to win the game but this is football and things don't work out the way we think. The coach wasn't wrong with his choice of players but they weren't just lucky as it seems they couldn't just pass that final ball to get the ball to someone who can put the ball at the back of the net. Costa Rica were basically defending all through the match and were relying on a counter attack to get attacking.

The result was quite surprising though but I'm happy that Costa Rica actually got a win after they surfer such disgraceful defeat against Spain that ended 7:0. Japan still has a chance of qualifying from the group. We just have to watch how the game tonight ends between Spain and Germany. The only time Japan should start panicking is if Germany was to win that game but I hardly doubt they'll even see a draw.
