2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 27, 2022, 03:18:08 PM
Manchester City are more interested in Champions League but they don't sacrifice Premier League. If they can not win Premier League, it can be because another competitor have too good performance in this season to beat Manchester City.
I don't think with Manchester City sacrifice with Primer League and most priority Champion League in this season because both trophy most important have to get, I know with Manchester City trouble never reach for getting Champion League trophy after several season.

Pep hasn't won the premier league three times in a row and that'll be a record he'll love to have with his dominate Manchester city team. Last time Pep tried wining, Liverpool spoil that record. Only Manchester united has won both three times and four premier league title in a row. If Pep Manchester city wants to go down in record as one of the dominate side in the premier league then they have to be ready to break this record that Manchester united kept years back.

Pep has his eyes on the premier league title as well as the champions league and he'll love to win them both with other trophys. Can Pep Manchester city team win both tournament, the answer is yes as Pep has an indepth team squad that players on the Manchester city bench are guaranteed starters if they weren't playing for Manchester city.

You were wrong perception about Real Madrid needed Cristiano Ronaldo and Zidane to get Champion League trophy, last season Madrid is not favorite team for getting Champion League but finally success become the winner although many predicting with Manchester City or PSG as the favorite winner.

Read my statement again, I didn't say they needed Zidane or Ronaldo to lift the trophy but said, the last time they were favorite and nobody could disagree was when both individuals were at the club. Then they were a force and it even resulted to them lifting the trophy three times in a roll. After both individuals left, Madrid lost their respect and fell short of winning the trophy after the likes of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Chelsea won the title.

Quote
I don't think Manchester City and PSG have opportunity with Champion League trophy in this season based on several season both team always failed and latest achievement once time lead to final stage.

Seems you're forgetting that Manchester city just acquired a goal scoring mechine named Haaland not too long ago and the guy is breaking records after records and also PSG has the likes of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe all on top form. Both clubs weren't as complete as they are now during previous seasons of the champions league. How can Real Madrid be favorite when the bookmarkers aren't even favoring Real Madrid winning over Liverpool in the round of 16 fixture.
2064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 26, 2022, 11:39:25 PM
I doubt if Argentina will easily win against Poland. Poland has strong attackers, they never got a loss, and their goalkeeper performed well. It is not impossible that they will get a draw or loss in the next match. Anyway, it becomes interesting if Argentina gets a draw or loss when they are against Poland in the next match. Saudi or Mexico possibly overtakes Argentina position in 2nd place if one of them can win the match. To be honest, I really expect this to happen, it will be a dramatic end for group C.

Assuming Argentina was to draw this match then I would had said, they don't have any hope of progressing to the next stage but after that Messi opener I think Messi is ready for this tournament and so is Argentina. You should know that Argentina is a very strong football nation and I think they're rated 3rd highest country in the recent FIFA ranking just behind Brazil and Belgium which are obvious superior. South America nations are known for the beautiful style of football and Argentina been one of them does have a chance to defeat  poland on the 30th.

Don't let the Argentina defeat to Saudi Arabia spoil your mind, even champion get defeated sometimes and that's what make the game interesting to watch as the underdogs can pull off surprises like that. You can see how happy the Saudis are as they defeated a football gaint. Messi just got his first open play goal today, let see what Christino Ronaldo can do against Uruguay tomorrow.
2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 26, 2022, 11:21:15 PM
Trevoh Chalobah's experience is a clear proof that talented players need to be given opportunity to improve their standard. Under Thomas Tuchel Chalobah was a shaky defender that always made mistakes. His passes were not usually accurate and he seems not to be confident. But we have seen this youngster improve tremendously after the sack of the German tactician.

That's because Thomas Tuchel don't give young players chances to build up trust and integrate into the team. If Thomas Tuchel was still the coach of Chelsea, Trevoh Chalobah would had been sold just like the likes of Tammy Abraham, Tomori and the other youngsters that Thomas Tuchel chase away. But thankfully with Graham Potter and Boehly we can rebuild trust in the youngster again and give them a chance to show the world what they're capable of doing.

Chelsea has the best academy in Europe and produced some of the best young footballers in the world but yet our previous coach didn't utilized any of them after they won him the champions league during his first season in charge of the club. With Trevoh Chalobah contract extension completed, I believe the player will be focus now on his craft ones the season resumes and he'll be fully fit since he isn't currently playing at the world cup.
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: November 26, 2022, 11:02:19 PM
African teams are always end up with trying. They tried for this match, but they have not won trophy. I need players like Drogba, Jay-Jay, Kanu etc in the African teams. My African favorite teams that I was expecting bto do well in this world cup were Tunisia and Senegal. Now Tunisia is going home from group stage.. Senegal now is to play with Ecuador. I just believe that Senegal should win Ecuador to qualify for the next round. I don't have hope in Cameron. But luck is part in football, so let us watch out.

Calling players like Jay-Jay okocha and trophy in the same sentence is funny, because that guy basically didn't win anything major but just wasted his career dancing around the field. The other players you mentioned are goated but okocha is just leaving off the fact of him been popular and coming for Nigeria with football fans population. His stats are also ridiculous but I understand that then it wasn't about the stats but way of play and how you made the game enjoyable to the audiences but still that doesn't win you games.

Senegal vs Ecuador is going to be an interesting feature indeed but I don't think Senegal will have much challenges in that game. The Senegalese team should win that game flawlessly. Tunisia on the other hand were a disgrace. They just wasted the Africa slot at the tournament. I'm sure teams like Egypt or Nigeria would had done better then them. I won't be surprised if the lose the last game as well. They have nothing to play for again but just enjoy their last game at Qatar.

2: never n trust any other coin aside from Bitcoin for long-term goals, most especially the highly centralized altcoin as there are open to external influence just like centralized exchanges are also exposed to external influence.

Writing is one easy thing to do but will you put your money where your mount is? Bears give people reasons to reason like this but will they kept to their promises in the bull market when everything seems to be giving people profit. One thing about altcoins investment is that, there'll always be one better than the one you're thinking will last forever and they can just disappear from the market without much been done. Altcoins has given people some decent profits in the last years but they have done more harm to a large range of speculators as the losses are always more than those profiting.

Altcoins are best for speculations and trading, unfortunately they have become a part of the industry so if you want to get yourself involved then it should only be through trading and short term investment and not as long term investment options. Your only focus in the industry is to accumulate as much Bitcoin as possible and if trading altcoins can generate you funds to buy and hold Bitcoin then you can do so but don't ever think altcoins can replace Bitcoin.
2068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency or start my business? on: November 26, 2022, 09:45:12 PM
I have been working as a freelancer for years, and I have saved some reasonable sum of money. now knowing the full potential that cryptocurrencies have, I am now confused on what to do if is to invest in cryptocurrencies or to establish a business while still working as a freelancer, I don't know the one I should do at moment, if to invest in cryptocurrencies or to establish my business.

Before I give my suggestions, I'll love to ask you some questions. What do you consider your freelancer job as? Do you consider them as mian Job or side Job. If your freelancer job is a side job then focus on investing as it's obvious you already have a main job that take most of your time and adding a business to that won't be recommended as you can't jungle them all which will lead to you losing out. But if your freelancer job is your main job then you can start up a business along with that and with time you can shift focus to your business to make it a main job that you give more attention while you turn your freelancer job to a side John.

Irrespective of all this, you won't be doing yourself anyharm by turning in some funds into investing in Bitcoin and holding for long term. Don't make investing your full time job but whenever there's an extra cash, save them in investing in Bitcoin. This is the surest thing to do now as in 5-10 years time, Bitcoin will be trading at outrageous price that you won't forgive yourself if you didn't get you hands on them now.

The goal of redesigning was for security reasons; most of you are missing the point of the entire project;

No be lie you talk but nobi Nigeria we dey. If you make all the money wey politicians dun steal useless, that one no go just make dem still more next time they get the opportunity and this time around dey go comot the money for naira carry am go dollars and that way talking money out of the economy instead of putting money through investment in the country. Same thing goes for the money obtained through illegal means, this one no go just increase the security threat of the nation making kidnappers going back to their old ways to demand ransom and causing nuisance.

Assuming we dey assured of the security of the nation then their plans for come into great effect but as usual we dey only get better plans for theoretical form but we no dey fit execute am as e no dey ever work. Here no be America or the western world. Just because something work dat side no mean say e go work here, we no get the capacity to execute their kind plans and anybody wey understand this go sabi how to carry this country go forward. China understand say the western world doing no go favour dem so dey lock demselves out dey use their own style and today them dey just one step behind to dominate the world.

Actually, there's so much merit in circulation now that getting it isn't that hard anymore unlike in the days when you have to be on top of your game to recieve some appreciation. Every now and then you can see people celebrating their rank up over here and this goes to show that people are actually receiving merits for their contributions on the forum. We also have some different occasional competition getting organized on the forum that can get you some merits like this; 🎃[ANN] Bitcointalk Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest 🎃 etc. Get involved in the forum fully and you'll be appreciated and not only caring about spamming the forum to get some payout weekly.

We also have some forum members that are willingly reviewing participate post history like @Pharmacist so there's basically no excuse of not receiving merits for your quality contributions to the forum unless you aren't putting some effort into your writing as @pooya87 had pointed out. Change your ways and you'll get merited, newbies not getting merited is just a myth as they're one of the most merited users on the forum.

𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗘: Trevoh Chalobah has signed a new contract at Chelsea until June 2028.
Source: https://twitter.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1596098956949217281

I am so happy for Trevoh Chalobah, he has been on the sidelines for so long, he's a brilliant player but wasn't given the opportunity by Thomas Tuchel to play for his boyhood club which Potter is now doing. One of the things that surprise me with Thomas Tuchel was his decision to bench Trevoh Chalobah and go buy a player like Fofana, putting Trevoh and Fofana side by side, I'll pick Trevoh as he seems like the more complete defender to me and he has proven that numerously on the pitch. At some point he had a long lasting record of not losing any game he started for Chelsea but that record got broken recently although that's not an issue as record get broken and new ones get set.

This six years deal is a big one for Trevoh Chalobah and one that favor the clubs as they're assumed of having their players for longtime which means the coach will still have the players he's building now for long term. Chelsea just have to resolved Mason Mount contract next so we have all our youngsters contract settled and we can focus on the league ones the world cups tournament is over. What do you guys think about Chalobah's contract extension, Was he worth it or the club is making a big mistakes extending his contract when they should be out their looking for better defenders to sign?
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 26, 2022, 05:07:13 AM
England played very well in time app but didn't score any goals England players we saw played very well but after playing so well they didn't score any goals that's why they have to play another match and I don't know what England are doing now and what's the reason for such a bad performance  I don't understand that well I saw some messages they played very well

Once again England wants to throw away their chances to win th world cup, why won't they be able to win USA that doesn't even like playing football as they're more of a America football nation and basketball. Southgate has been the cancer in the England squad because it just doesn't make sense that a squad as talented as the England squad doesn't have any trophy to their name. We have some of the finest players playing in the premier league in the England squad so it just doesn't make sense that they aren't delivery when  they meet team that are average.
.
Group A is now looking very interesting to me as it seems all three nation in the top 3 position has a chance of progressing from the group stage after the 1-1 draw against the Netherlands and Ecuador. Now Senegal will have to play Ecuador in the last game and anyone who wins will progress from the group stage as the Netherlands is guaranteed a spot in the round of 16 as they'll be playing Qatar and they're guarantee a win. It'll be very shameful for Qatar as they'll be the first nation to host a world cup and loss all game.
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 26, 2022, 04:49:46 AM
Could this be another year for Real Madrid to make it to the title here?

Real Madrid are still the favorites to win the title again. But this season their performance began to decline. Toni Kroos and Luca Modric are completely unreliable due to age, and Benzema is also often plagued by injuries.

I don't think Real Madrid were ever the favorite to win the title, the only time they were favorite was when Cristiano Ronaldo was still playing for Real Madrid and they had a coach as brilliant as Zinedine Zidane. Even last season that Real Madrid managed to somehow get their hands on the trophy, they weren't even the favorite and couldn't even win their games convincingly. This season, we have teams like PSG and Manchester city that are potential champions and they play like one. We also have Bayern Munich which shouldn't be overlook just because they lost their world record striker to Barcelona.

They have filed the space left by Luwadusaksi with Sadio Mane and although Sadio Mane can't score as much goal as Luwadusaksi does but he's a fine player that can score, attack and assist at the same thing. Let not also forget that Bayern Munich has the finest player in Africa and second best player in the world playing for them which is still Sadio mane so they might just surprise us this season.
2076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 25, 2022, 09:37:24 PM
Chelsea has had a mediocre first half of the season. There is still plenty of room to recover but I don't think they can compete for the championship anymore. The gap to Arsenal and City already seems too great. If Arsenal can keep this up for a while, City will also feel the pressure. But maybe they've already felt that pressure, because lately they've also wasted quite a few points. Arsenal only lost to United, almost all the rest won. Still handsome. They also have a strong selection, and Odegaard also seems to have flourished after his failed adventure in Spain.

Tables turn buddy, we might have started the seasonal poorly but so have other side and we're still in a close gap. After all the poor from we're just about five games behind meaning if Chelsea was to win all their remaining games and Arsenal was to lose 5/6 games out of the remaining games then we could tied/overtake them at the top of the table. Arsenal aren't reliable when it comes to leading the table. The main concern here should be Manchester city as they're always the favorite.

Chelsea target for the season isn't the title but a top 4 finish which will give us a chance at competing at the biggest stages in club football next season. Chelsea did show that they had it in them to perform well and just need potter to be able to bring back that playing spirit that the players developed in the first 5 games of potter era. With the likes of Reece James returning back from injuries after the world cup, I'm in no doubt that Chelsea will get something out of this season.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: November 25, 2022, 09:21:33 PM
Senegalese officially becomes the first African side to win. Next to do so might be Tunisia they seem favorites in them next game.

We didn't expect anything less, they're the strongest side from the continent and meant to be representing us well. We see the other undervalued continent like Asian coming up with some impressive football and winning unwinnable games and yet here we had Africa nations disgracing us. Assuming Senegal didn't win this game then I would had given up on the Africa team entirely but it seems Ghana display yesterday brought some fight back into the Africa nations and we should be expecting other nations to keep the fire burning by winning their games.

Senegal without Sadio Mane can still come up with an impressive football as they did today. Kudos to the Qatar team as they tried their best but the Senegalese were just destined to win this game and they did it in a big win for the first time. The last time they scored this much goal at the world cup was against Uruguay at the 2002 world cup which ended in a 3-3 draw.

Ps: Guys don't forget to make use of the poll above, lets get the thought of the community on which nation do we think is likely to advance fro. the group stages of the competition.

This world cup so far has been boring for the African continent. We don't have a goal or win yet to celebrate and it's frustrating watching all the lost and draws we're having. Hoping when our representing teams play the second leg of the group stages, we'll get some goals to celebrate.
Now you have two goals to celebrate it would gave been bad to finish the fiery round without a single goal from African team buy Ghana never disappoint.

Frankly I enjoyed the second goal which was scored by Bukari and the Siu celebration he did later, even Ronaldo was amazed. Ghana actually surprised me in that game. Out of all the Africa nations that went to Qatar they were my least favorite to do something. It's just occuring to me that Ghana was bond to score as their recent World cup appreance has all came with a goal. I underestimated them and so did the Portuguese side because of how poorly they played at the first half.

Now that an African nation has gotten a goal, I think it's high time we get a win at the world cup. Senegal plays Qatar today and that must be a must win game for Senegal and Qatar as well because anybody who lose should probably start packing their bags to go home as their chances of progressing has been lost. My bet is on Senegal to win that game convincingly. I hope Qatar hasn't bribe the Senegal side as the rumor of them doing that in previous game was reported.
2080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: November 24, 2022, 05:03:26 PM
World Cup victory. It is not a small task for Ronaldo because it is the result of a team effort rather than individual input. And, besides, Ronaldo lacked the strength to move his team; the team would rather move him because of everything he has done for them in the past, but right now, he will be in the team for the last time, as he will never play in another world cup after this one, and his chances of winning this one are very slim.

Ronaldo is playing as a striker and strikers don't have to do much except score the goals when the chances are created for them. So I still don't understand why people say Ronaldo doesn't have the strength to do such anymore. He has been scoring goals for a living and although he can't scored the brilliant goals he usually scores in the past but that doesn't mean he can't scored the goals that have been worked for him by the team. Every trophy won by a team is usually the efforts of the team work and not one man work alone, so Ronaldo is still capable of contributing to the team until he decided to retire.

In the game against Ghana, Ronaldo found the net but it was cancelled since the whistle has already gone for a foul against the Ghanian defender which to me that wasn't a foul but a 50/50 chance for both players. The game is currently is goalless but as expected, Portugal are the dominate side with Ghana only hope of getting something from this game is a counter attack which so far the Portuguese side has been able to prevent as they're constantly closed down the Ghana playes whenever they're with the ball.

This world cup so far has been boring for the African continent. We don't have a goal or win yet to celebrate and it's frustrating watching all the lost and draws we're having. Hoping when our representing teams play the second leg of the group stages, we'll get some goals to celebrate.
