3021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 20, 2020, 09:51:03 PM
It doesn’t matter if how much you bet, don’t matter in what form BTC or USDT gamblers don’t think that way. Their aim is always to multiply their money or just have some fun. It is given that crypto prices are unstable but I think most gamblers can manage it.
So if BTC price is 1million USD you will still be making the same bets? I don't think so.

I always use USD currency when betting as stake allows to convert your BTC into USD and bet with that, they also have added Euro and JPY recently so it is easier to convert balance into fiat and know how much you are betting because indeed as price rises we sometimes forget that the old 10mBTC is now almost worth double than it was 1 month ago so have to adjust bets accordingly.

I don't know about others but I do change my betting amounts and sometimes style too with change in BTC prices, like if the prices are low I will bet more and actually take bigger risks while if the bull run is going on like right now, I try to bet small and avoid chasing big wins.
I am a gambler that plays based on the bitcoin amount and not on bitcoin value but If we were in the stage of bitcoin price is getting higher and higher up to 1 million USD each, I think I would base on fiat value instead. I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to deposit my regular bitcoin amount into the casino thinking that the fee fiat value is too much. Adjusting the bitcoin amount over time would be necessary for me.
3022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the price of Bitcoin now? Take profit or greed? on: November 20, 2020, 08:45:50 PM
maybe you can sell bitcoin when the price can increase to $19k because the $600 gap of the price will give you the profit,

I agree and second this statement you said here, Mr. ethereumhunter. If I will be also sell what I have, I will make sure first that the price will reach and/or surpass $19k so I will be having more profit. And yes, I am planning to sell because I will be needing some money for personal reasons. I will be taking profit and will watch the trend.

Most of us here do hodl or trade bitcoin for a profit, and now is a good time to sell bitcoin to get profit but if it is bad if you sell it if you are into more profit in this upcoming days. I'm sure that you gained profit since you bought that bitcoin you hodl. If the money you can get from selling bitcoin is worth selling today, Why not? We have personal reasons behind it and I'm sure no matter what the price of bitcoin is, You will sell it because the personal reason you are having is more important.
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Will you Invest in Ethereum ICO if it is just Starting ? on: November 20, 2020, 08:17:26 PM
In my studies, I've come to understand that ICO and IPO are very similar, as they are fundraising strategies for startups.

Here are the areas of differences.

1. ICO are mostly for crypto and Blockchain backed new startups, who need funds to build their businesses, while IPO are for companies that have track performance, that want to raise funds  to scale operations.

2. ICO is like crowd funding, which has less regulation, but IPO are heavily regulated.

Here is what I want us to discuss.

Since ICO investment is very risky as it depends the new startup whitepaper and the token, how did we know Ethereum would become successful through it ICO?

If Ethereum is to start afresh and do an ICO, why will you invest?

The game is over when ETH became one of the most important platforms for smart contracts.

The downside is that scammers now take advantage of this great platform to commit scams.

You need to know that there will always be risks in these new technologies ...
As far as I know, Eth is the biggest platform that provides general use of smart contracts, and as we see they are dominating the entire altcoin market with their market cap. Scammers are just scammers, Even you have a very good system scammer will find a loophole to your system to commit their motives. It's not a downside if you are well knowledge  Tongue
3024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 19, 2020, 10:32:48 PM
Is that illegal?

How come they used crumpled paper instead of a piece of paper that supposed to be your ticket. Lol.
Well, when it comes to the lottery game, it is very hard to predict, imagine only a small percentage of chances of winning you have while the rest is the highest odds they had.

I'm not fun of that kind of game because I know it is possible with someone who will win, but if there is. That is their lucky day. I may advise you to pick random numbers and do it to calculate. I guess there is a calculator of a lottery. Just search how to calculate odds.
It's not illegal, These games is run by the government-owned sweepstakes organization. I'm also thinking why would OP post a crumpled paper as a ticket.

Well it's a lottery, The luck will always be the biggest factor in it, The chances of winning on it is low but the reward is high. People who don't have luck like me rarely or almost didn't care about trying it at all.

I think one of the tricks that most lottery players do is to stick on just a single number/set of numbers to bet on and not putting random numbers on betting. I have read some articles that came from lottery winners that the winning numbers that allowed them to win are the number they always bet on. So I think it is promising compare to putting random numbers.
3025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I study to learn how to trade? on: November 19, 2020, 09:17:03 PM
Begin in basic wherein you should first understand what is trading all about, you need to get familiarize to a lot of cryptocurrencies and a lot of exchanges also. When I was a newbie, I focus first in learning trading terms like support, resistance, trend, most active, top gainers, order types and many more. Nowadays the sources of information is not too hard unlike before where you should required to have a fund just to have a data about the basics. I suggest also to you to open a virtual trading first wherein it can help you to understand the movement of the market and it can help you to get a lot of experiences in the market.

You should treat virtual trading or the paper trading as your real portfolio in order for you to learn and in order for your experience to not go to waste. I suggest that the only time that you will open your account is if you already master the basics wherein you have consistent gains in your paper trading account. Do not also put large amount of money in your 1st exchange because the feeling and execution is really different from the paper trading. Always manage your risk to have better trading performance.
I'm pretty sure that newbies who hear this kind of terms "support, resistance, trend, most active, top gainers, order types" will make them super confused but learning these terms will lead you to a better understanding of how trading works. There are many tutorials on the internet and one of the best sources is the famous youtube. One of the advantages of watching video tutorials is they teach it in the simplest form for beginners to understand it easily. It's nice that aspiring traders nowadays have too many resources on how to trade, I understand the hardship of learning to trade using incomplete guides and where to find them.

OP just keep learning the basics, I'm pretty sure you will experience newer terms and knowledge in your journey on learning to trade.
3026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 19, 2020, 08:47:15 PM
Since you are asking in a Bitcoin forum, You will mostly get encouragement to accept crypto payments. Nothing will be bad if you accept crypto payment since your possible customers that will pay bitcoin probably know how it works. I'm sure they are aware of the fees and the confirmation time of their transaction. Having many payment methods will be good for a business and customers since you offer comfort to your customers of what payment method they will use.
3027  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: CHRISTIAN ALBERT GAZA a.k.a "Xian Gaza" Introduce his own coin on: November 19, 2020, 07:58:31 PM
Marami din kasing supporters si xian gaza and most of it ay galing sa last project or business niya which is "CareFund".

This is true! Let's just see how this will xian gaza coin will end. I'm pretty sure if mahuli si Xian gaza ng mga pulis sobrang laking kawalan to sa project niya since isa siya sa pinaka backbone ng project nato.
3028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots: Traders Take On Them on: November 18, 2020, 11:50:30 PM
Everyone wants to make a profit from trading cryptocurrency. And there are lots of users or people in the crypto world who offered Crypto Trading Bots. Do you think it is advisable to take this kind of scheme? Is it really legit to use trading bots? https://crypto.co/technology/crypto-trading-bots-traders-take-on-them/
There are many bot options all over the internet and when it comes to legibility it's better to find some bot recommendation here or on the internet. A crypto bot is a tool for us traders to use and it is effective depending on how you use it. If you are a newbie on trading. It's better to learn the fundamentals of trading first before you try using a bot, It's true that it can help you gain profit but also you can lose money if you use it wrong. Also, try to asses yourself after some trials if ever you use it if it is worth using a trading bot because some bot requires fees to be paid.
3029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: November 18, 2020, 10:46:54 PM
Hi guys ! My name’s Dave.
ข่าวกีฬา
Is it possible to do money laundering via bitcoin? I mean as no one knows if you have bitcoin and how much bitcoin do you actually own, it could be used to convert black money to white right? Or at least store your black money without much hassle. But there is the risk of its value but I think for people who have lots of black money and don't want to be caught, this risk might be worth taking for them isn't it?
What are your thoughts?
It's possible and I can assume that money laundering using bitcoin happened before. There are many ways to launder money and using bitcoin or somehow altcoins such as privacy coins will make it possible. Also using a mixer is one of the choices. In exchanging the illegal money to cryptocurrency there are also ways of dealing with it like doing P2P transactions in person or hire someone for the job to do the P2P transactions.
3030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins I have in my wallets on: November 18, 2020, 09:45:00 PM
I currently mining or have mined these altcoins, I would to know which coin the board thinks has a ggod chance of higher advancement in the future long or short term. The coin are : Bitbar, digibyte, zero, komodo, zel, vidulum, einsteinium, Lbry credit, bitcoin gold, verge, beenode, ycash, gleec, bitcoin sv, litecoin, zcsh, verus, bitcoinz, zclassic, and safecoin
I think you would consider selling those coins to buy some bitcoin, It would be more profitable since bitcoin is reaching its ATH now. I am holding, It's really not holding but forced to store some shitcoins in my wallet that can't be sold because the value is not enough to compensate for the gas fees and other fees such as exchange fees. There are some altcoins that I have last month but I sold it for bitcoin. I have only one major coin that I really hodl in my wallet right now and it is ethereum.
3031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 18, 2020, 09:13:56 PM
I can give my salute to those who hodl from that event, I myself sold some of my bitcoin after sometime when bitcoin somehow recovered but I failed to gain profit in it instead I got a loss.

I am thinking about what kind of feeling do the hodlers feel right now about holding that bitcoin for some years since we are reaching near the ATH. Do you feel Scared? Amazed? Exited? Doubtful? I know those who hodl up till now will not sell their bitcoins until they get some profit into it so they can get a sort of reward after years of hodling.
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Kucoin Hackers on OUSD... on: November 18, 2020, 08:48:38 PM
It seems that DeFi projects today are the hacker's target, There are many incidents of hacking happening lately and the common victims are Defi projects. By just searching "defi hacks" on google shows too many DeFi hacks and some of it just recently happened. There is a chance that these hacks are an insider job but I think an organization of hackers made these hacks possible. With the continued increasing hacks on the DeFi platform, This could lessen or kill the trend in the market.
3033  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin casino TrustDice.win:💰Enjoy Crash gambling game on: November 18, 2020, 08:13:02 PM
Well apparently they KYC now. They did not process my withdrawal for 5 days so I went on to talk to live chat, immediately after I received an email asking for documents and they stopped talking on chat.

This is what they sent:

Code:
Dear libelle,

We would like to kindly inform you that based on our terms & conditions you would need to pass our KYC process.

1. Proof of ID: Your ID card or Driver's license or Passport;

2. Proof of Address: A photo of a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months and clearly showing your name.

3. A selfie with your photo ID and a paper with the current date on it.

Please send the above documents to info@trustdice.win

We hope for understanding and really apologize for the inconvenience!

With respect,

TrustDice Team

I didn't receive any tips from other players or place any sports bets like the complainant above, I only used the casino. Not really happy with sending my documents to some random casino.
It seems that you are not the only one who got a problem with this casino withdrawal process.

Did you try reaching them again many times?

You can directly message @Coinbox1 which is the OP of this thread. OP is currently online due to the recent scam accusation to TrustDice. Make sure to take this chance to message the OP account.
3034  Economy / Gambling / Re: CRYPTOLOTTOSTORE.COM - Global lotto betting for cryptocurrency on: November 18, 2020, 05:51:33 PM
Within a matter of days, we will be introducing Casino games - including live Dealers!

Don't forget, you can still get a 50% bonus on your deposit:

For those people who haven't yet made a deposit, you can get a 50% bonus on your first deposit!  Just make your deposit and select the 50% bonus option.

For our existing players - you can also get a 50% bonus on your next deposit.  Simply make your deposit and then enter coupon code BCTNOV50

Good thing you decide to add the casino games in your site since lottery these days is not appealing and many users are not into this betting option these days. Also maybe best if you run a certain marketing campaigns so that the launching of your casino will be noticed by the other gambler who didn't discover your site yet.
I really think users are still on in playing on lottery games these days, But the fact that casino games are more prominent today is true. It's good that cryptolottostore did adopt the community wants rather than separating and focussing on just one game.

I am thinking about your domain or the business name if it will change in the future since you are adding casino games. If I am finding a casino all over the internet, It will be hard for me to assume that the domain cryptolottostore.com will have casino games and might assume that it is a lottery game based website.
3035  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: CAGAYAN NEEDS HELP‼️‼️‼️‼️ on: November 17, 2020, 08:29:48 PM
I am from Bicol, Ilang bagyo ang dumaan saamin at alam ko kung gano kahirap ang situation sa cagayan ngayon, Sobrang major disaster ng taon nato.

Even though na hit kami ng ilang sunod sunod na bagyo ay unti unti na kaming nakakarecover and we did our part in donating old clothes and some personal hygiene needs to our fellow victims in cagayan, May donation drive din kasi dito na nangyari sa city namin. It's unfortunate kasi halos madaming parte ng luzon ngayon ang naapektuhan ng sunod sunod na bagyo. I hope na bigyan muna tayo ng pahinga ng mga disaster na yan para makapahinga kahit papano.
3036  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: My Plan if ever happens again ATH on: November 17, 2020, 07:45:15 PM
3037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Goes Mainstream: Will Facebook And Google Support Cryptocurrency Adoption on: November 17, 2020, 06:54:52 PM
Just imagine, to pay for ads on Facebook, you can choose any cryptocurrency instead of the US dollar, and using Google Play service, you can pay for purchases with Bitcoins. If earlier it could seem like something empyreal, today it is quite an expected decision. Will Google and Facebook change their crypto policies?

Is PayPal first, then Google and Facebook?
The cryptocurrency is rapidly acquiring new supporters, including large companies, funds, institutional and retail investors. It is obvious that the global economy is moving at full speed towards digitalization, and its transformation is only a matter of time. The leading players in the financial market have already jumped in, as evidenced by the multi-billion dollar investments in Bitcoin in the context of 2020.
-snip-

Crypto hasn't gone "mainstream" yet.  Just because PayPal is now supporting bitcoin and some companies are investing in bitcoin, it doesn't mean everyone is now ready to adopt/accept crypto currencies.
Imagine paying for ads on facebook or using google play services with bitcoin and having to wait for an hour to get a confirmation? There are still more space for improvement and we are yet to achieve this "perfect" crypto currency that can be used as a regular currency.
Facebook is working (are they? i am not sure) on making their own crypto Libra. Google could do the same thing like paypal with their Google Pay service.
I agree, I can say that cryptocurrency is on the mainstream if it is accepted worldwide without any restriction of using it. I am pertaining to the acceptance of countries, merchants, and big companies. I think being adopted by big company doesn't make bitcoin mainstream. If people don't use it, it wouldn't be considered mainstream. There are many variables that companies are considering that's why they can't fully adopt bitcoin but they would probably create their own as Facebook did with their libra project.
3038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 17, 2020, 05:31:48 PM
Regarding the topic we can say that it's a very interesting subject to discuss but we must go back a little in the past to show some facts. In the last 4 months of 2017 the level of investors and large companies in the crypto has increased absurdly causing many hunters to work insanely (laughs) and I was one of them. However, the amount of account fraud on multiple accounts made many people rich because of the amount of reward they acquired. Another factor that we can analyze is the amount of spam and meaningless messages in the forum so Theymos the administrator of the forum together with the administrative team had the idea to create a system of merit ending once and for all all frauds and greed of the hunters. In season had seen people with 30 accounts and with that.

We see how far human greed goes.
This is a history of abusers made the whole bounty campaigns hard now. Those who happily abused campaigns before finding it really hard to take advantage of the bounty campaigns now. The merit system is I think appropriate right for this forum so abusers can't continue to abuse campaigns. They might also abuse even bitcoin paid signature campaign by just registering multiple accounts. The trash post that abusers did before were reduced due to the merit system. This is healthy for the forum and the projects that are promoting here. I remember those days that obvious alt accounts are enrolling on a single campaign  Roll Eyes
3039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 17, 2020, 11:37:11 AM
Maybe they will, and it so easy for them, but do you think people will interest to join or buy it?? Decentralized system is freedom and we all love it. If the central bank created their own digital currencies, it means that another way for us to be controlled again.

they will not make their money decentralized, if they do then a bank will no longer be useful,
and their actions are useless, there will indeed be some issues about the bank making its own cryptocurrency,
but they are not making it 100% decentralized, but someone controls the supply, and maybe they just make it with blockchain system only.

This is true, Mostly banks will make their own coin a stable coin that is backed by fiat so it will just fall into centralization.

In our country, there is a certain bank that released its own coin, It is called PHX that UnionBank created.  It's a stable coin and it is a bit expected, I don't think banks will make decentralized coins because it can possibly mess up the order they want.

You can check this for more information about that coin: https://www.coindesk.com/philippines-unionbank-launches-stablecoin-conducts-first-blockchain-transaction-by-bank
3040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 17, 2020, 10:04:53 AM
I don't want to discriminate against some countries because every criminal exists in different parts of the world, It's just that the scammer rate is more in some countries. Scammers are taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of their potential victims, The solution to these scenarios is simple. Spread the awareness and gain knowledge about the situation.

It's sad that this scammer is targetting his own countrymen which are Nigerian people by showing that this project is for them.
