3061  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 11, 2020, 05:18:19 PM
The secret to success in trading? Try not to follow some random people ideas however follow on yourself. You don't generally require such much coins in your portfolio for trading. Search for a decent coin with an awesome use case and trade on that coin only. Doing technical analysis and forget about all the noise out there.
Agree to you! It is better to learn alone without other idea, it is much better, you will also learn other stuff that can help you in the future, and self learning doesn't cost anything so why don't we try it right? there will be no secret to trading, there are other books that can help you in different things that will help you to analyze trading. There will be some falls and ups , you will not experience it nor feel it if you will going to depend to other people.
3062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One of the Chinese biggest banks issue $3B bonds tradable in bitcoin! on: November 11, 2020, 03:24:32 PM
It could be good news, since we all know that there are only limited country to get involve related to bitcoin, plus add the fact that it is China! If one of the banks in China will be able to open their door with this crypto currency world, other might follow their steps, and it will good for the market, there are a lot of investors in China, they are business minded, maybe finally they seethe benifit of this thing with their economy and this is more secured than they are expected. But what happen to digital yuan anyway?
3063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 LUCKIEST LOTTERY WINNERS on: November 11, 2020, 02:40:37 PM
wow they are really lucky and fortunate, just thinking how many odds will be in that Game, the probability to win a lottery is very small, consider the fact that as long as the prize will go higher, people will buy or hoard more so the chance of winning through 1 ticket only is less than 1%, so I think if the universe let you will that, it will be give That to you. I hope they will spend their money in good and proper things and help others as well.
3064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 11, 2020, 01:41:51 PM
I think the Casino is very beneficial for the government, before I've heard a news in other country about making online casino legal to them and now a physical casino to accept online bet. The government really benefits from the casinos they needed to continue the revenue of their casinos maybe to help their community due to pandemic?
Yes of course they are, we are. PAGCOR is paying taxes in out government, and they uses this taxes for building infrastructure, bridges and many more. But even though the total earning in gambling is big, their tax payment is too small, it should go higher, especially that most of the gambler maybe in near Pasay are foreigners, if you could go around MOA, you will see different nationalities, they are earning big but paying tax lower then common Filipino.
3065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 10, 2020, 08:45:33 PM
In my experience, I have not seen or encountered any gambling casino that requires KYC. If ever that you encountered one, please make a background check of that casino. It is much better if you will avoid them and prevent yourself from submitting any of your information. Most of the online gambling casino respects the anonymous identity of their users, they did not require them to submit an ID but they will require you to input email address for verification.
Me either, I think KYC is not applicable to casinos and any other gambling site, if the gambler doesn't want to let other know his identity then its okay, and even if it is needed? I will not give any ID for KYC even in trading if the exchange requires me to pass kyc for me to be able to withdraw I rather not register with that. Sending kyc is risky, and also as far as I know it is not needed in this industry.
3066  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: November 10, 2020, 03:11:35 PM
It will not happen because the goal of the banks is to print cash and spread it in order the economy to continue operate. The bankers are really against the idea of digital currencies because we should be aware that they are the one who controls the fiat money. Most of the cryptocurrencies are decentralized so there is no bank that controlling it; unlike the cash where banks can print many money as much as they can. It is really the free money because they are the one who are creating cash from just a piece of paper. Cashless society is possible but it will take many years because a lot of institutions and organizations are against with it.
And it will never be happen, physical cash is equivalent to country's economy and currency, each country has their own paper money, own design, own denomination because it is also represent them so I think, each country can make their own coin or digital currency but they will not change the traditional way nor remove banks. they will upgrade the system but will not remove anything regarding to it.
3067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: November 10, 2020, 05:58:28 AM
Yes, you are right. I have seen the withdrawal process can be required boldly when you win a big match like Jackpot or something like that which has value to everyone , the value is nearly $100k or more which I have seen in many gambling sites that can slightly be changed due to their TOS.

That's why it's necessary to read the TOS if we are talking of $100k as that is a huge money already, some sites would already require a KYC although they call themselves a crypto casinos, we have no choice but to comply the policy as them being a licensed casino are also just complying form their regulators.
Yes you got a point. This change my mind, in every website I think we should read the TOS, for us not to get troubled in the future. There will be some rules that we don't know, especially in the withdrawal of earnings I think, I remember in binance as well there is a certain amount, I think if you want to withdraw 1btc you need kyc, just like in gambling site, we all know that the reward in here is very huge so kyc is needed in some casinos if you win the jackpot prize.
3068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: November 09, 2020, 11:51:23 PM
What I need in my trading is patience. It's a virtue most persons and traders lack but then, if conceived, it could attract a lot of good fortune for the individual. I need patience in my trading in the sense that, after carefully doing an analysis, patience helps in guiding against loses as it enables you to identify key entry and exit signals or triggers before taking a position in the market.
It doesn't seem like a difficult task but, it has a way of playing with your emotions and before you realize what's going on, your fear is or greed is been laid bare and it's a problem. Developing so much emotions over a trade makes you so unstable in a trade and it's not an encouraged character at all.
Most especially if you are in long term trading, patience will be measured, I remember last time I have a coin and got panic I sell it immediately and then after some hrs it pumps, so I missed the ATH because I'm too nervous or something like you called FOMO, so aside from proper knowledge about a coin, we should learn how to manage our emotions as well because trust me, it will be measured and if you too soft you will sell a potential coin in low price.
3069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambled against Biden - funniest instance on: November 09, 2020, 10:22:18 PM
Don't be mad if you lose in gambling, even not on the election or even in the basketball team that you had picked. Don't tell me you were mad because they lose. The same story in the article, the guy there knows that there's nothing to be changed if he will get mad at Biden.

However, that's a good attitude of what gambler had, you should not get mad to any and stop blaming others. You should know who to accept losses and move on.

I didn't bet on a betting site but I won that I picked Biden than Trump, I know Biden will win because he isn't arrogant.
He accept that he losses some money because Biden won the election, he shouldn't regret that nor blaming Biden for the elected president, that is good and humble behavior of him, but also, he is a politician he should know how to talk politely even that is sucks and hurt his pride, nof course a little misunderstanding might lead to problem for their country, so even he lose he already accepted it nothing more, that is how a Good player or gambler may looks like.
3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tezos going to be next Ethereum? on: November 09, 2020, 05:47:29 PM
Tezos is an open source 4th generation decentralized network for assets and applications. It has huge community of Researchers, Developers, Validators and different support groups. It has the largest followers in the crypto space. All of them share the common goal to make it Top 20 crypto currency.

There are rumours in the market that Tezos network will be used for Digital Euro in the years to come. If that happens then its price will sky rocket without any doubt.
Its current price around $2 which is very attractive for investment to yield huge profits in future.
I doubt about that, based from what I know there are only few projects that are using tezos chain, I know one project that used tezos and it failed, maybe he's tezos is really a good thing in Europe, it is widely known in there but when we talk about the mass adoption or the most widely known coin, it should be ethereum rather than tezos, I mean the continuous innovation of ethereum blockchain makes it still at the number 2 place for almost a decade, especially now more and more defi created each day that uses eth blockchain, and here comes the eth 2.0. So tezos will not be able to be the next eth but the next after eth maybe it will go to 3rd place.
3071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter didn’t completely disable posting bitcoin addresses on: November 09, 2020, 04:49:10 PM
I don't know about this one, but they only banned bitcoin address? *does eth address included? I mean I see a lot of people posting their eth address in some giveaways of some influencers does it also included? if this thing it true maybe it will help to lessen some scams and fraud but it will never stops them. If people always patronize those easy winning and easy earning things t, banning some address in Twitter will not help, they can rather say that via dm send their address like that.
3072  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: November 09, 2020, 03:53:55 PM
I don't think that DeFi hype is over. just look at the CMC and you can see the growth of projects like Chainlink, Aave, yearn.finance and others. Aave grew almost 80% during 7 days and this is a great result.
yes in my portfolio that I created isn blockfolio, this week all my target defi project price increased, and by the way I am also holding 1 token now, but unfortunately it dump, waiting for some hype. Making the value stable is really hard for a project, it is always needs some influencers that will help them to shill and make the price go up. Defi projects can easily go pump, and it also can easily to go down, it all depends on their marketing capability.
3073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy BTC from PayPal now that they are letting people do it? on: November 08, 2020, 08:44:23 PM
I don't know if this feature is available in my country but I think I will not buy in PayPal, I normally used PayPal in some of my foreign transactions since I am being paid usd, the fees are very high for me, well I guess if I will be able to withdraw bitcoin using that maybe the fees are much more higher right? I rather buy bitcoin in binance using card rather than in PayPal, perhaps I think this one is new so I think there be bug for now. I don't know how much will be the transfer fee, I need to know that because fee is important thing for me to know.
3074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: November 08, 2020, 07:31:41 PM
Rushing is not a good thing in investing. the key is momentum, how we can control ourselves and refrain from waiting for the right time where we can get the profit we want.
Investment must be made very carefully and with full consideration. It is not advisable to rush investing without the slightest consideration. This can be self-defeating because we may not be able to achieve the expected target of what was invested.

Doesn't have to be too fast or too long, the important thing is to be on time
This is one reason why we don't need to rush to determine the asset we want to invest in, especially in altcoin. Buying at the right time is an attempt to maximize your return for investment.

And it is not advisable to invest without researching the whole thing, it will only result to losses. We need proper knowledge in order for us to trade without losses our to trade without bigger losses, we need to take a risk. In order for us not  to lose more money we should know and learn how to invest money, how to make it grow, how to read charts and signals. This is the biggest failure of an investor, they are rushing to many things they want to earn instantly without prior experience and research.
3075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween inspired poll –would your Bitcoins get passed on if you suddenly died? on: November 08, 2020, 06:49:26 PM
I voted 50% only, not everyone in us knows bitcoin and crypto currency, I would like to teach them but they aren't interested. Maybe I will save it in my bank after I convert it and I will pass it in some of my relatives. But I rather choose my skills and knowledge to be pass unto them so they will also learn, trade and get money on their own. But I don't have plenty of bitcoin or maybe a bitcoin as of now to be passed on maybe soon, I'll work hard for it, since it is bullish.
3076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: November 08, 2020, 05:36:28 PM
This is the question that always being asked by many people, for me if you have so many funds and money, diversifies your wealth, invest in both thing,s or invest in many things so that you will have a choice. Gold price is continuously growing after so may years, each karat is precious as time passes by it rises, in bitcoin, there will be ups and downs in the price but it will always pump, but not stable. So it is up to you, bitcoin can be converted in different coins as well, which is good you may scalp and arbitrage, it will all depends on how much money you are holding and also what is the current economic status.
3077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger owners lose 1.1 million XRP!! on: November 08, 2020, 04:10:23 PM
It is really sad that this thing happens, maybe this is the reason that we need to tighten up our security in both mobile and pc in order for us to make sure that no one will make a bad move in our assets, but losing that amount is really a big thing, ledge company needed to tighten their security feature as well, and we as users should be aware with this thing too, not because it is hardware wallet, it is the safest of all.
3078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 08, 2020, 02:36:18 PM
I don't understand how this is entertaining at all. Placing a very huge bet for a presidential election is never really fun. It is politics, dirty and full of cheap behind-the-scene moves. It may be fun for a small amount as it is clearly for the sake of betting. But if it involves millions in US dollar, that is certainly not just about enjoying gambling. That is about being stubborn on a single candidate because of strong political ideas and opinions.

Placing a bet on any election is different from getting involved in it. None of us like politics or the politicians. But even I place my bets occasionally on elections. It is as exciting as betting on sports matches. And this time, there is no doubt that the American presidential elections were really close. Trump would have won, if he had a little bit of luck. The winning margins in most of the crucial swing states were below 1%.
Yes they are different but somehow maybe it will be beneficial for him, also making a bet in this kind of election is entertaining for me since they are in close fight and I am also surprised that biden won in that election, wishing that it could be good in other country as well, and I wish he will be nicer than Trump. I am also surprised to the vp , first woman as bp right? wow.
3079  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Tutorial] Paano makakuha ng Free courses sa Udemy on: November 07, 2020, 09:29:32 PM
Salamat sa pag share ng kaalaman Kabayan. Last time na nag udemy ako may bayad kasi e medyo mahal pa, kaya nag coursera ako, may mga about sa Crypto and blockchain din naman dun kaso lang parang medyo kulang. 3080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 07, 2020, 04:47:48 PM
There’s not much I do in using bitcoin, other than just to invest and trade on exchanges. I think this way my bitcoin can increase. Especially if you look at the price of bitcoin now the price rises. I have no intention of paying my groceries with bitcoin. Because if the price is going up, then I feel like I’ve thrown away my bitcoin for free.
In my country, there are still a few shops or merchants that accept payments with bitcoin.
here in my country little by little few businesses accepts bitcoin in their mode of payment. But mostly I used bitcoin using our local wallet to pay bills and necessity, but I need to convert it first before paying, because I think it better because if I will let it in bitcoin the amount might change when the market change, I am enjoying using this app now. But of course I need to convert first. If without converting? I rather not to do it.
