3081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambled against Biden - funniest instance on: November 09, 2020, 10:22:18 PM
Don't be mad if you lose in gambling, even not on the election or even in the basketball team that you had picked. Don't tell me you were mad because they lose. The same story in the article, the guy there knows that there's nothing to be changed if he will get mad at Biden.

However, that's a good attitude of what gambler had, you should not get mad to any and stop blaming others. You should know who to accept losses and move on.

I didn't bet on a betting site but I won that I picked Biden than Trump, I know Biden will win because he isn't arrogant.
He accept that he losses some money because Biden won the election, he shouldn't regret that nor blaming Biden for the elected president, that is good and humble behavior of him, but also, he is a politician he should know how to talk politely even that is sucks and hurt his pride, nof course a little misunderstanding might lead to problem for their country, so even he lose he already accepted it nothing more, that is how a Good player or gambler may looks like.
3082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tezos going to be next Ethereum? on: November 09, 2020, 05:47:29 PM
Tezos is an open source 4th generation decentralized network for assets and applications. It has huge community of Researchers, Developers, Validators and different support groups. It has the largest followers in the crypto space. All of them share the common goal to make it Top 20 crypto currency.

There are rumours in the market that Tezos network will be used for Digital Euro in the years to come. If that happens then its price will sky rocket without any doubt.
Its current price around $2 which is very attractive for investment to yield huge profits in future.
I doubt about that, based from what I know there are only few projects that are using tezos chain, I know one project that used tezos and it failed, maybe he's tezos is really a good thing in Europe, it is widely known in there but when we talk about the mass adoption or the most widely known coin, it should be ethereum rather than tezos, I mean the continuous innovation of ethereum blockchain makes it still at the number 2 place for almost a decade, especially now more and more defi created each day that uses eth blockchain, and here comes the eth 2.0. So tezos will not be able to be the next eth but the next after eth maybe it will go to 3rd place.
3083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter didn’t completely disable posting bitcoin addresses on: November 09, 2020, 04:49:10 PM
I don't know about this one, but they only banned bitcoin address? *does eth address included? I mean I see a lot of people posting their eth address in some giveaways of some influencers does it also included? if this thing it true maybe it will help to lessen some scams and fraud but it will never stops them. If people always patronize those easy winning and easy earning things t, banning some address in Twitter will not help, they can rather say that via dm send their address like that.
3084  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: November 09, 2020, 03:53:55 PM
I don't think that DeFi hype is over. just look at the CMC and you can see the growth of projects like Chainlink, Aave, yearn.finance and others. Aave grew almost 80% during 7 days and this is a great result.
yes in my portfolio that I created isn blockfolio, this week all my target defi project price increased, and by the way I am also holding 1 token now, but unfortunately it dump, waiting for some hype. Making the value stable is really hard for a project, it is always needs some influencers that will help them to shill and make the price go up. Defi projects can easily go pump, and it also can easily to go down, it all depends on their marketing capability.
3085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy BTC from PayPal now that they are letting people do it? on: November 08, 2020, 08:44:23 PM
I don't know if this feature is available in my country but I think I will not buy in PayPal, I normally used PayPal in some of my foreign transactions since I am being paid usd, the fees are very high for me, well I guess if I will be able to withdraw bitcoin using that maybe the fees are much more higher right? I rather buy bitcoin in binance using card rather than in PayPal, perhaps I think this one is new so I think there be bug for now. I don't know how much will be the transfer fee, I need to know that because fee is important thing for me to know.
3086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: November 08, 2020, 07:31:41 PM
Rushing is not a good thing in investing. the key is momentum, how we can control ourselves and refrain from waiting for the right time where we can get the profit we want.
Investment must be made very carefully and with full consideration. It is not advisable to rush investing without the slightest consideration. This can be self-defeating because we may not be able to achieve the expected target of what was invested.

Doesn't have to be too fast or too long, the important thing is to be on time
This is one reason why we don't need to rush to determine the asset we want to invest in, especially in altcoin. Buying at the right time is an attempt to maximize your return for investment.

And it is not advisable to invest without researching the whole thing, it will only result to losses. We need proper knowledge in order for us to trade without losses our to trade without bigger losses, we need to take a risk. In order for us not  to lose more money we should know and learn how to invest money, how to make it grow, how to read charts and signals. This is the biggest failure of an investor, they are rushing to many things they want to earn instantly without prior experience and research.
3087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween inspired poll –would your Bitcoins get passed on if you suddenly died? on: November 08, 2020, 06:49:26 PM
I voted 50% only, not everyone in us knows bitcoin and crypto currency, I would like to teach them but they aren't interested. Maybe I will save it in my bank after I convert it and I will pass it in some of my relatives. But I rather choose my skills and knowledge to be pass unto them so they will also learn, trade and get money on their own. But I don't have plenty of bitcoin or maybe a bitcoin as of now to be passed on maybe soon, I'll work hard for it, since it is bullish.
3088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: November 08, 2020, 05:36:28 PM
This is the question that always being asked by many people, for me if you have so many funds and money, diversifies your wealth, invest in both thing,s or invest in many things so that you will have a choice. Gold price is continuously growing after so may years, each karat is precious as time passes by it rises, in bitcoin, there will be ups and downs in the price but it will always pump, but not stable. So it is up to you, bitcoin can be converted in different coins as well, which is good you may scalp and arbitrage, it will all depends on how much money you are holding and also what is the current economic status.
3089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger owners lose 1.1 million XRP!! on: November 08, 2020, 04:10:23 PM
It is really sad that this thing happens, maybe this is the reason that we need to tighten up our security in both mobile and pc in order for us to make sure that no one will make a bad move in our assets, but losing that amount is really a big thing, ledge company needed to tighten their security feature as well, and we as users should be aware with this thing too, not because it is hardware wallet, it is the safest of all.
3090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 08, 2020, 02:36:18 PM
I don't understand how this is entertaining at all. Placing a very huge bet for a presidential election is never really fun. It is politics, dirty and full of cheap behind-the-scene moves. It may be fun for a small amount as it is clearly for the sake of betting. But if it involves millions in US dollar, that is certainly not just about enjoying gambling. That is about being stubborn on a single candidate because of strong political ideas and opinions.

Placing a bet on any election is different from getting involved in it. None of us like politics or the politicians. But even I place my bets occasionally on elections. It is as exciting as betting on sports matches. And this time, there is no doubt that the American presidential elections were really close. Trump would have won, if he had a little bit of luck. The winning margins in most of the crucial swing states were below 1%.
Yes they are different but somehow maybe it will be beneficial for him, also making a bet in this kind of election is entertaining for me since they are in close fight and I am also surprised that biden won in that election, wishing that it could be good in other country as well, and I wish he will be nicer than Trump. I am also surprised to the vp , first woman as bp right? wow.
Salamat ulit.
3092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 07, 2020, 04:47:48 PM
There’s not much I do in using bitcoin, other than just to invest and trade on exchanges. I think this way my bitcoin can increase. Especially if you look at the price of bitcoin now the price rises. I have no intention of paying my groceries with bitcoin. Because if the price is going up, then I feel like I’ve thrown away my bitcoin for free.
In my country, there are still a few shops or merchants that accept payments with bitcoin.
here in my country little by little few businesses accepts bitcoin in their mode of payment. But mostly I used bitcoin using our local wallet to pay bills and necessity, but I need to convert it first before paying, because I think it better because if I will let it in bitcoin the amount might change when the market change, I am enjoying using this app now. But of course I need to convert first. If without converting? I rather not to do it.
3093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 07, 2020, 02:35:53 PM
Forgetting the losses that have occurred will make you relax and calm when playing again, and if you are ambitious when playing just to recover losses will only make your game messy and out of control and will make you lose again.
You have to realize because the longer you play gambling, the more you lose than win, so if you intend to play gambling just to recover losses it will be useless because when you play everything on your mind you win and it will mess up your game.
It is hard to forget our losses especially when it is big amount of money but what else can we do right? if we really really want to gamble we should learn how to move on, and learn from this mistake so that we can play without regrets and we can think and focus in the game which is very needed. But losing more money to recover? it is not normal, we need to change our style, but rest first so that you will be okay and you may formulate new things.
3094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road wallet worth more $1B possibly has been hacked on: November 07, 2020, 12:22:56 PM
Maybe it is really not hacked. Just like everyone else thinks maybe old owner finally recover his wallet for a long period of time, or maybe he will put that amount to another wallet or maybe he is up to something, maybe he will create his project and needed funds, or he will convert his bitcoin into another altcoin in the market. If government is the reason behind this   1B is really a big deal, once they finally sell it in lower amount, the chat may crash and might get dump badly I think.
3095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin? on: November 06, 2020, 10:08:23 PM
.. the median fee right now is $7!

It's been a long time already that fees are playing around BTC0.0004 as calculated fees on Exchange. Because bitcoin price increase, BTC0.0004 now becomes around $6-$7 which is just $2-$3 before. If we are calculating in USD value, it's really high but for the Bitcoin unit, it's just on average. Back then, for example, Coinbase even charges BTC0.0025 as a median fee but if I'm not mistaken, the USD value of it is around $5 at that time.

While we are using BTC units to pay for fees, expect that the USD value of it will increase as Bitcoin price skyrocketing its price.
This is what I am thinking, due to massive demand the fee gets higher and higher, especially this season? you may see the fee next month it will become higher than expected and it will give you so much longer in time before you will received it. Fees and network congestion is the most disadvantage thing of bitcoin to me. Yes bitcoin has a good and high value, but the moment it increase, the higher the fee and the slower it could be.
3096  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anyone using crypto exchange wallet on: November 06, 2020, 03:37:07 PM
3097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 06, 2020, 09:17:51 AM
Mayweather his right, the idea was originated by him so he got the people to interest the fight, and people who have already watch the Mayweather vs Conor fight might not be interested in this fight as they have already seen what's going to happen.

Conor will just be a punching bag for this legendary fighters, maybe if Manny will fight him, he will just play him so the game would last but Conor does not really have a chance here.
yeah I agree, Conor is not being know for being a boxer but I'm mma, I think the opponent that has more experience and well trained in this particular sports, these sports has a lot of common but the thing is boxing is different in throwing punches I mean forgive me guys if I am saying a wrong thing but in boxing it is continuous punches in mma they can make punches but not consistently and they can use legs, thigh, side kick etc. I am in favor of course to the boxer rather than Conor.
3098  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: November 06, 2020, 05:35:09 AM
3099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: November 06, 2020, 03:43:10 AM
I'm glad I don't end up promoting this bounty project, here are reasons why I don't join the bounty campaign.

1. They tend to use small exchanges for fund raising
2. The team lied that they don't need money, they claimed they are well funded and yet they use small exchanges
3. The project use case isn't a new idea, infact they have too many competitors
4. Upon aiming for small exchanges to raise fund they are giving up too high allocation for bounty hunters, meaning they have no experience about crypto space and their exchanges
5. John mcafee name was tagged to the project banner and they keep sharing it as if John McAfee is all they need to be successful when we know that he is a king of nonsense Hypes.
They got a hype which is good actually by using McAfee name in every ads they are made. but the thing is, they didn't use this in proper way, if they raised a good amount they must list it in a good exchange not to those cheap exchange, I don't know what is their exchange but it is a big factor or they may use that money to hire in YouTuber that can help them to promote in his channel. They lack in marketing that's why it failed. Projects needed to spend money for their marketing and not hold fund for it.
3100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 06, 2020, 02:14:12 AM
Bitcoin price is not a problem to me at all even if it continues to increase it's price as it is my hobby to gamble and I am already
aware of the risk that I am going to face. I wonder also why other players are thinking that the price increase will affect their profits
in gambling as it will not matter as long as we will be using bitcoin in betting.

But if there will be many gamblers that are worried about the bitcoin price then it will be good if the casino owners will give the players
more option about the currencies that they are going to use in betting like USDT and etc.
Indeed, it could not be a problem but for a new gambler in the cryptoworld maybe it does. Yes it can affect I think starting the amount of bitcoin to be bet. And the transaction fee will increase I think as well, so maybe I will reduce my bet in a bit, and everytime I will win I will make it half and save the other half of it. Bitcoin price will motivate me to gamble more, but it will take a risk because if you lose the price equivalent in usd is not the same before.
