3181  Economy / Services / Re: Do you need some strong marketing? Look no further! (CMC/CG fast track) on: June 16, 2022, 05:34:42 AM

These guys are scammers from Mumbai do not trust them! They will cheat you after they receive payment.

FLOKI, MRI and Metapets have never worked with them!
Maybe you are right, since you are scammer and scammers tends to recognize each other.

we work before payment dude dont try to hurt my reputation they can direct message to my vouches and also referencess Cheesy liar

I really doubt that any project will admit that they paid trending, especially to some random people that send them TG message, and from what I can see you work before payment only for some clients so what you wrote there is not entirely true.
3182  Economy / Economics / Re: Solar panels set to be mandatory on all new buildings under EU plan on: June 16, 2022, 05:10:34 AM
I was thinking of installing solar panel in my house because electricity is too expensive now and we don't get electricity for 24 hours. I live in country where 7 to 8 months we have sunny season and summers are too hot. But your posts just shocked me that panels are best for warm regions not for hot. Can you explain with some references?
I think its all about the number of sunny days as solar panels works best when exposed to sunlight directly, not through clouds so if you have plenty of those you are good to go.

I think it's fine for southern Europe that gets plenty sunshine all throughout the year, so just Spain, Greece and maybe parts of Italy. But what about the rest? The yield might not be as good in the areas with longer winters.
Dunno, I've seen in Germany (I am mostly visiting southern parts though) big percentage of houses covered with solar panels so I guess that it works good enough in those regions as well and I even heard that state is buying all the excess energy produced so during summer months can even make some extra money.
3183  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: copper member DireWoIfM14 is scammer on: June 15, 2022, 04:07:52 PM
Even though I know that you are just bullshitting (unless you got scammed by impersonator which has happened many times before), care to share some proof? Preferably using the scam report format that you can find pinned at the top of this board.
3184  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia Emerge As The Next Dominant Superpower on: June 15, 2022, 03:22:31 PM
I don't think I've ever thought or said that Tongue
You didn't, but you still claim that it's all US fault and that Russia didn't have any other choice while I just wanted to show that its their standard practice. Eastern Europe and Baltic countries rushed into NATO for a good reason after fall of SSSR, knowing how it is to live under Russian boot, but were naive enough to give their nuclear weapons and now they are paying the price.

1. To accept an ever increasing security threat at their western borders and in black sea while US kept building terrorist bases in Ukraine and manufactured WMDs there including biological ones
Haha good one. Russian claims that Ukraine has US funded WMD labs is as believable as US claims that Saddam Hussein had WMD and that there was no other way other than invading Iraq. And we all know how that ended up.
3185  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia Emerge As The Next Dominant Superpower on: June 15, 2022, 07:41:55 AM
US is already attacking Russia but through a proxy called Ukraine. The reason is also pretty simple, competition. To put simply Russia was growing stronger while US was growing weaker so they needed to create an Afghanistan 2.0 for Russia so that they get caught for a long time like US did for 20 years and spent $7 trillion. Ukraine was a very good Afghanistan 2.0.
Russia stopped being main US competition some time ago. And its not like Russia doesn't have a long history of invading neighbouring countries, from Poland and Finland to Hungary and Czechoslovakia. I like how people somehow think that Russia is not like all those other imperialist countries, while being the biggest country in the world. They obviously got all that area peacefully and not by conquering numerous small nations.

I don't say that United States are completely innocent in all his because they aren't, but in the end Putin was the one who decided to send the tanks to Ukraine because they don't know anything about soft power and instead extending their influence to other countries by culture and economy, all they can do is to send tanks, which is a shame.

To answer OP; no, Russia won't become the next dominant superpower and instead it will probably end like USSR if they continue like this.
3186  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitlucy withdrawal problem, does this acceptable? on: June 15, 2022, 07:01:46 AM
Lightlord received his first red tag less than 24 hours after the thread was created, while he was in a coma and unable to defend himself, and people were busy passing judgment even before he responded to the thread- he fixed his mess, but his tag was never removed.
What you forgot to mention is that lightlord had a long history of lack of communication and delayed payments, its not like it was the first time he delayed payments and instantly got the negative feedback like you presented it here.

People would probably be more vocal if it was the same situation with Royse777 and businesses he promoted had similar issues before. As far as I know that hasn't been the case and that's why majority of members are willing to give him benefit of the doubt and some time to sort it out before tagging. With that being said, situation with Bitlucy doesn't look good at the moment so I am removing my avatar&personal text.

3187  Other / Meta / Re: xzone Merit Source Application on: June 14, 2022, 04:07:39 PM
Second, based on merit statistics and merit circulation in Turkish local board so far according to merit dashboard, Turkey is one of the local board that has good merit statistics among many other local board. This makes me just curious what makes you so excited to be another merit source for your local board where I think the existing merit source are also quite active in distributing merit?
While it's true that Turkish local board is among the most merited ones (usually 2nd or 3rd most merited local board), you also have to take into consideration amount of posts written in Turkish local board which is also very high. When you calculate merit/post ratio, it turns out that Turkish board definitely has room for another merit source (not going  into quality of posts there, speaking purely about the numbers).

Below you can see local boards merit/post ratio chart for April 2022 (May overview should be out in a couple of days) and you can notice that Turkish board has below average numbers when compared with other local boards (both April and last 12 months), and numbers for May will  be even lower so I am not surprised that @xzone applied for a merit source position.

Merit/Post ratio per local board for April 2022

3188  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: June 14, 2022, 03:06:27 PM
They must be beneficial for the businesses that run them, so I'm not sure why the rates have dropped so drastically.  Do people gamble on crypto casinos less?  Are there fewer exchanges coming into existence?  Most of the bitcoin-paying campaigns from back in the 2015-18 era weren't for ICO projects, and it's not like enthusiasm for crypto has died down at all, so I don't really understand it.
I have no idea what was the situation back then, but ever since I joined this forum and got into my first campaign (late 2019) I don't remember situation ever being better than it is now when it comes to signature campaigns. I remember situation being much tougher back in the late 2019 when even quality members that are now in some of the best paid campaigns of the forum had issues getting into any. Some even went to Bitvest that was paying like $10 per week for Hero/Legendary rank while situation now is completely opposite as there are more spots than quality members which enables shitposters to easily get into one.

But I remember the case with Prime Dice. They used to pay as much as BTC2.4 per month. And that was when BTC was trading at around $1,000 per coin in 2014. So they were actually paying four digits. Too bad that the campaign lasted for just a few months and after that they folded up.
No wonder that they stopped after few months as it makes no sense to pay so much for a signature. Iirc CM also payed some crazy high amount during last bull market but then soon adjusted the rates to a more sustainable ones.

3189  Economy / Reputation / Re: (AndySt) The next abuser of stake campaign? on: June 14, 2022, 02:42:21 PM
Yes, you are right, I remembered a similar story.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5395403.0
Ah yes, that's the case I was referring to as I remembered I saw similar case before.

I'm starting to think it's the same alternative account. And the OP found it too.
Hm I am not so sure about it, as chaser15 has a long history of activity in Phillipines local thread, while AndySt never wrote there and the only local board he was active was the Russian. The only similarity that I can see  is that they were both of part of the Stake campaign when caught doing this.
3190  Economy / Reputation / Re: (AndySt) The next abuser of stake campaign? on: June 14, 2022, 02:28:07 PM
I think he's high likely want to abuse the campaign rules since most of his posts created per week are around 25-28 and spread for 5 days.
Yeah that's probably the reason he is doing this, and its not the first one who did something like this in order to meet signature campaign rules. What I am more surprised it that no one reported these type of posts where he would quote someone and wrote only "yes" and sometimes not even that.
3191  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Tulip Mania 2.0 on: June 14, 2022, 10:08:57 AM
Experts had been warning this crypto stuff was all hype / BS. I don't see $0 but I see $1000 or so in a few more months.
Oh hello Mr. Nostradamus, I haven't recognized you. By the way, where were you with these kind of predictions when BTC was at the ATH? Probably too busy buying bitcoin at the all time high, and that's the reason you are salty now. I am sure that you will put your money where your mouth is and that you will short the shit out of bitcoin as you expect it to reach $1k.

https://twitter.com/jonwu_/status/1536476104986267648

3193  Other / Meta / Re: What we can do to get ride of alt farmers? on: June 14, 2022, 06:06:32 AM
These alt farmers are destroying the environment of the forum and abusing bounty rules.
Their activity is mostly contained in bounty section so I don't see it as a huge problem, at least not for a forum as a whole.

So I think we could discuss a solution on how to get rid of these alt farmers or at least demotivate or force them to work fairly. I am giving my opinion here and you can leave your opinion too.
Since theymos is against newbie jails and forum staff don't wanna meddle into all this, the only ones who can actually do something about it are bounty managers but they won't do anything because its against their own interest to remove alt accounts. I would advise you to stop wasting your time thinking how to solve this as nothing can be done about it.

Do users control accounts upto 10? For what purpose and how do they manage it. There's no how a user can complete posts on 10 accounts without using a bot. Aren't they required to make posts?
I do think that its possible to maintain 10 accounts in a signature campaigns without using bots. Keep in mind that we are talking here about altcoin campaigns so if you don't care about post quality (and I doubt that altcoin bounty managers check those thoroughly) I am sure that you can churn out few hundreds of posts each week without much issues.

3194  Other / Meta / Re: Are you a merit source? Thanks for your sacrifice. on: June 14, 2022, 05:36:09 AM
This might sound silly but it's actually the reality. I have seen countless times some merit sources make quality posts in a particular thread and they will go unmerited. Yet, in same thread, you see them issuing merits to posts that are even of lesser quality to theirs.
Well of course those who have more merit to spare can be less picky when choose merit worthy posts, I don't know why are you surprised with that.

Lolx... I actually think you are the one that misunderstood her.
Buddy, Hispo is right, you completely misunderstood what suchmoon said.

At my age, she can't accuse me of merit begging, she should do that to member ranks struggling to rank up to full member Grin.
One is never too old for a merit begging thread as even Legendary members sometimes make those.
3195  Economy / Reputation / Re: I could be wrong but what if? on: June 13, 2022, 01:30:30 PM
Honestly it doesn't matter if the rank rule is applied or not. Merit can be bought. So, managers apply the jr member rule and then there will be 500 new jr members the next week. Even if they don't buy the merit, users can start meriting their alts. They may even make a post that gets them 1 merit.
While introduction of rank requirement wouldn't stop altcoin farms entirely, I still think that it would make their life much harder. And I don't think that it would be so easy to buy merit at such a larger scale without any of the forum detectives figuring out what's going on.

They may even make a post that gets them 1 merit.
I've stumbled upon cases like that, bounty hunter writing a normal post just to get merit and then going back to his usual routine of spamming those reports in bounty section and it really sticks out like a sore thumb.

A solution has to go further then rank.
What's your take on solution for altcoin farms abusing bounty campaigns?

^ Yup, that's definitely a text-spinner, here is the source* (not familiar with coin360dotcom website though).
Good find, thanks for the help! I was sure that something was going on but just couldn't  figure out the source. I guess I got rusty, time to hone up my plagiarism checking skill. And yeah, just reported @Gaa7829 in case you haven't.

edit: user nuked, thanks mods.

3197  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak on: June 13, 2022, 12:06:43 PM
Pogledao sam ja Hustle prije par dana, dobar i pitak film, a NBA fanovi ce prepoznati hrpu trenutno aktivnih igraca.

Napokon odgledao i 1883.
3198  Economy / Reputation / Re: I could be wrong but what if? on: June 13, 2022, 10:00:48 AM
There is no doubt that these are alt farms, but for me personally there is a much bigger problem in the campaign manager who had to notice what was happening in front of his nose - unless he himself is involved.
The thing is, its not in altcoin bounty managers interest to notice altcoin farms operating in their campaigns because if they remove those, there won't be more than couple of dozens of genuine users doing them and how will they sell their service to potential clients then? They need numbers, and the only way to get that is to allow army of newbie accounts to join.

There is a simple solution to remove farms (or atleast majority of them)- introduce Jr Member as minimum requirement but that won't happen of course due before mentioned reason.
3199  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: June 13, 2022, 09:51:20 AM
It looks like this user either google translated text or use some sort of text spinner due weird selection of words like "Layer-2 answer" instead "Layer-2 solution" , using "velocity" instead of speed, "stage" instead platform etc. I did some google search and couldn't find anything but I am 100% certain that there is something fishy going on and would appreciate if someone can find the source.

The Matic Network become rebranded to Polygon in February 2021, however its local token continues to be called MATIC. The community is classed as a Layer-2 answer for Ethereum and operates as a sidechain to enhance velocity and decrease the value of transactions.

Polygon is a decentralized Ethereum scaling stage that looks to empower designers to construct secure, versatile, easy to understand DApps with low exchange charges. The undertaking offers a few Ethereum scaling arrangements, the center part of which is Polygon SDK, a measured, adaptable system that upholds the improvement of many sorts of decentralized applications.

MATIC rate in USD phrases noticed regular boom in the course of 2020, however its largest spikes got here in the course of 2021. According to our MATIC stay rate chart, the token went from under $0.02 to over $0.54 — a 3,070% increase — among Jan. 1 and March. 11, 2021.

3200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you struggle learning about bitcoin? on: June 13, 2022, 09:28:47 AM
Eventhough I have been registered here a long time ago, I still find it difficult learning and understanding bitcoin technical aspect, the blockchain and development. I know this is a shame to admit but that is what am faced with. I once tried to read the white paper but could not make much meaning out of it.
There is no shame in it buddy, bitcoin whitepaper is tehnical indeed and you need some prior knowledge to understand it properly. But even understanding every aspect of bitcoin, you can use it without any issues whatsoever as you you really have to know is how to secure your bitcoins and how not to overpay transactions. After all, vast majority of people that that are using fiat have no idea how its created yet it doesn't stop them from using it. So don't let lack of deeper bitcoin understanding stop you from using it.

Is there a way out of this? Please am not asking for books to read. I need real life experiences of those who passed through this and overcame it.
If you are not fan of reading the books, I suggest you to check  series of YouTube videos Bitcoin for Beginners Playlist: Intro to Bitcoin, Satoshi, Security, Mining and More in which Andreas Antonopoulos covers Bitcoin basics in layman terms. His videos (and books) were a great help for me and it can probably help you as well.
