Much better than 0.2 J/GH, at a considerable lower $/GH/s compare to ... due to a much higher GH/s/mm^2 (silicon density).

That sounds like you've abandoned the 28nm design and are focusing on the 16nm ones. Is that the case?
322  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: January 14, 2015, 04:54:43 PM
BTC spent most of 2013 at around the $150 level if I remember correctly. This was just before the big run up. It seems highly likely that this level will be retested. Whether this AMHASH corpse will be put formally six feet under before or after this retesting takes place I do not know.

As this $150 level was held for so long it is likely to become substantial support.

You should learn basic maths, then you'd be able to do the calculations and see that AMHash is still profitable at $150 with the current difficulty. The price at which fees become greater than income is around $135 at current difficulty.
323  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 14, 2015, 04:01:16 PM
... With no recent info about Spondoolies new ASIC, it's best to assume they're going going to be behind in reaching ~0.2J/Gh. ...
Much better at a considerable lower cost, thank you.

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. Could you expand on that?
324  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Hashie.co - Cloud Mining from 0.0012 BTC / GH | NEW: AMHash | FREE 10 GH on: January 14, 2015, 03:51:23 PM

WOW how long did it take you to write this up lol i almost finish a cigarate reading this lol, in anycase i see what is being said and should always be vigilant. If i ever have more than 1 bitcoin i will make sure i buy a cheap computer get bitcoin wallet and send my stuff there and never keep computer plugged in to internet or even powered up. Will be fun each time i need to get to wallet with having to wait for updates but my 1 bitcoin will be safe  Wink

About 5 minutes with copy paste, most of it was public I'm just trying to put things in context. Was kind of in a hurry so I didn't post sources. I didn't find much about the email just the domain was registered to  yan wang and now shows mark russells. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211169.0 doesn't really prove much. Tradefortress still hasn't responded to asking if his email was compromised. who ever updated the site was probably meaning mark russell as that had to deal with btc atms. Not that that is who it is, but is probably just targeting different people in the community. Honestly the biggest weakness to bitcoin is the centralization of something that's very nature goes against it. In other words thing like mining and the markets should have their own protocol. the miner itself should somehow send you payments. maybe something like using bittorrent or bittorernt sync. you could do something like bittorent sync and create keys that tie to miners so you could rent them out.. etc different keys are used for length of time. there is just to much faith and room for market manipulations if btc is just stored on websites. I suppose for the time being something like an escrow or something similar to btcbuckets. in that if you are to buy a contract dude doesn't get all the money up front but is slowly trickled during length of contract. Something must be done to prevent ponzi scam and to stop things like cex suspending operations. makes it so people are stuck in limbo state not doing shit very little options but to either sell, wait or try to redeem for physical hardware.

Why are you having a conversation with yourself, malaimult. Yes, I checked, you've sorted you're quoting out with all three alts. Good job!

So, darkangel/darkgamer/malaimult, could you explain your connection to the cloudminr.io ponzi? If you say you have none, then could you explain why you still carry their sig when the sig campaign ended ages ago? Surely you realise that you and picolo are going be the ones people go after when the shit hits the fan.
325  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: January 14, 2015, 03:38:04 PM
Damn this is a mess....
Todays divs 351 satoshi, so AMHASH is still alive and kicking. Price of BTC must fall to ~100$ for AMHASH to suspend operation. But diff will decrease soon and that price spot will decrease also. For another month we can be calm that AMHASH will be hashing. Another story is that buying at 0.0005 is somwhere half a year to ROI.

Divs will increase though if difficulty decreases, just as they would if USD/BTC price increases. That would reduce the amount of time needed to break even.
326  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io tracker on: January 14, 2015, 03:31:34 PM
so how much do i earn in a day with say 1000 ghs ?

That depends on the difficulty and price of bitcoin at the time when payments are issued. Legitimate services will have the necessary information on their website or service thread to make such a calculation. Today's payment for AMHash was 351 Satoshis per Gh, so for 1 Th/s you'd get 0.00351 BTC from AMHash and Bit-x calculator says 0.00205906 BTC. Bit-x have already went negative and reduced the maintenance fee by 33% though. Tomorrow, who knows?
327  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: January 14, 2015, 03:07:30 PM
sorry but both cex and bitmain have announced suspension of mining contacts due to profitability and you come here to attack amhash, when in reality it is  still "profitable" for now - http://nextdifficulty.com/

Bit-x needs to be added to that. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the owner?

I am not attacking this company. However it has not escaped my attention that a certain group has been systematically attacking other cloud mining operations while actively promoting this one. The evidence is all here in these threads. Now; even legitimate companies can be driven out of business by a systematic campaign of slander and unfounded accusations thereby scaring away customers. This tactic is nothing new and existed long before Bitcoin. It would be good if the company took some responsibility for these shills while it is still around.

LOL, you mean legitimate companies that flat out refuse to provide any evidence of legitimacy like pbmining, ecrypto.co.in, hashie, cryptominer, terabox, cloudmining.website and the one you run - cloudminr?

4 of them have already proven to be ponzis and it's just a matter of time for the other 3, including yours.

328  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 14, 2015, 02:35:59 PM
Question for Guy:

With current btc price, does it affect your plan with the new gen ASIC development? Any change in the plan or pricing strategy? Whats about your market targets? (only wholesale or bulk order instead of retail?)

I second this question we are now at the price of 195 usd a coin.

As a builder of asic's are you going to take a pause or push on with blind faith to build a .1 watt chip?

I really think if Guy handle this right, he will nail coffins to all the Chinese manufactures. They've been milking bitcoin eco long enough.

I doubt it. AM will have their new 28nm chips next month and the samples performed better than expected this time. Production of miners will swiftly follow. BitFury said they were getting their new 28nm samples towards the end of December too. With no recent info about Spondoolies new ASIC, it's best to assume they're going to be behind in reaching ~0.2J/Gh.

With BF and AM both providing cloud mining services, they'll be able to offer cheaper hashing power than what it would cost to buy a physical miner and they're likely to have cheaper electricity costs than most people too. If Spondoolies don't offer cloud mining with their new ASIC, I'll be very surprised.

Rather than there being a nail in the coffin of all the Chinese manufacturers, you're going to see AM come back to the forefront.  Smiley
329  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0015 BTC / GHS on: January 14, 2015, 02:01:05 PM
I am not connected in any way to cloudminr.io. If not for lowlifes like you and others of your ilk, I wouldnīt even have registered here.

LOL. I'm sure everyone believes you, honest!

Cloudmir.io will have to lower payouts due to the falling price of BTC. They have plenty of room to move as they pay 0.00001000 per GHS. No such luxury for AMHASH which is already at practically zero. Hopefully cloudminr and others can absorb all the added business after AMHASH is six feet under. Have fun dragging even more victims into that sinkhole with your signature.

The manufacturers of the ASIC chips and miners which get hardware at cost and have cheap electricity are struggling to remain profitable with Hashnest even suspending service. The implications of that are obvious.
330  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0015 BTC / GHS on: January 14, 2015, 01:12:21 PM
I think you are a lowlife that does anything to earn a few bucks and that includes attacking competitors to the pathetic crap you have been pushing. What is the payout per GHS today if it even survives until then? About 0.00000300?

I'm a lowlife? I'm not the socket puppet of the operator of an obvious cloud mining ponzi that refuses to provide any evidence of legitimacy. I'm not the one that's going to run off with all cloudminr.io's customers money - you are. As for that "pathetic crap" by which you mean "legitimate cloud mining service provided by the oldest ASIC manufacturer" they've provided all the details you need to calculate the payout for yourself - unlike you, AM are not scammers.

There was just an attempt to start a signature campaign for a "new" "cloud mining service" called MineThatCloud.

I had the following post deleted:

Quote
Before you even post a link offering a cloud mining service, take a look at this thread and try to provide the evidence puppet asks for if.

Also, you FAQ makes no mention at all of maintenance fees. Let me guess, they're included in the price.

If you can't do, don't bother offering your service.

As for this sig campaign, only an idiot would take up your offer without escrow and a legitimate escrow may be hard to find if you can't proride any evidence of legitimacy.

This is just THMining mining (that got slaughtered) under a new name and design.

I edited in that last line and shorty afterwards, all posts  in the thread were deleted, the campaign was closed and the thread locked.

Edit: MineThatCloud just appeared in the Service Announcement section
333  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io is the new pbmine! correct me if im wrong proof below on: January 14, 2015, 12:26:21 PM
I dont think any legit cloud minr site exists that can help u make profit like this cept the high mantainance fee ones.. anyways I hope this will stick more than a year!

Well, there's only AMHash and Bit-x left at this point. What do you think is a high maintenance fee? Would you say AMHash's fee of $0.001551 per Gh per day is high? If so, then you'd be wrong. That actually less than 0.07 $/kWh which is insanely cheap if you ask me (I pay 0.24 $/kWh for my leccy though).
334  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0015 BTC / GHS on: January 14, 2015, 12:14:33 PM
Isnīt it funny  how this bozo is STILL promoting crap whose payouts are fast approaching zero and is about to cease operations. For the record, as he will remove his signature advertisement soon, itīs AMHASH.

Yes it is funny. Because AMHash and Bit-x are the only legitimate bitcoin cloud mining services left in the game and bit-x is running on fumes. I won't be removing my signature and AMHash has nothing to sell at the moment, like my signature says. You can still buy it on Havelock from other people if you want though. If AMHash4 comes out it will get updated. If AM offers a new cloud mining service based on their new ASICS, I will change my signature to promote that instead.
335  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Free 100GHS Trial - Contracts from 0.0011/Ghs! on: January 14, 2015, 12:09:47 PM
hehe, aint that a bitch... They must be scammers! Say bye, bye to them for a while lol

No, they're not scammers. The stoppage is part of the contract. Every legitimate cloud mining service will have such a clause because legitimate cloud mining services have to pay for electricity to power the hardware they actually have. Therefore, when the cost of that electricity becomes greater than the mining income and stays that way for a specified length of time, the contract ends. No different than running your own miner from your own home. If you're mining for profit, you turn it off when it becomes unprofitable.
336  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Question on: January 14, 2015, 11:47:01 AM
I'm changing all the time with what I use and what I do

I have just started on here now

http://minethatcloud.com/

Seems pretty good and the people seem to know what they are doing

It's really hard to know where to stay and go so I always just look for deals that are the most suitable, I would'nt wanna stay to long on one place but I know alot of people
do, It depends really on how much hash I want to buy.

Until they provide some evidence of legitimacy, they're just another ponzi, as is cloudminr.io too by the way. With Cex.IO halting mining the other day and Hashnest halting mining today, AMHash and Bit-x are the only legitimate bitcoin cloud mining services left. There are also a few hosted services like KNC Cloud which offer fixed length contracts for say 6 months or a year.

As for why companies would offer cloud mining instead of just self mininig, they make a guaranteed profit up front instead of having that profit spread out over a period of time. For manufacturers services like AMHash, Bit-x and Hashnest, it's not really any different than selling miners.
337  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io is the new pbmine! correct me if im wrong proof below on: January 14, 2015, 11:34:27 AM
they are paying perfectly
they have cheap prize
they have zero fee Smiley
if it can continue as now, they are best for me Smiley

So did pbmining. So did hashie. So did crypomine. Etc.
You're an idiot.  Smiley

In addition to all the above, Bitmain can no longer offer a profitable cloud mining service using their own ASICs, yet these guys can using the same old "hardware they bought off ebay".

[ANN] Jan 14th, 2014 - Umisoo, ANTS2, & ANTS3 Hardware Powered Off

Today, at 08:05 GMT, all Hashnest Umisoo, ANTS2, & ANTS3 units were powered off, as their maintenance fee became higher than their payout. This procedure was previously outlined in this post https://forum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/969. At the moment, we are examining the situation to determine what further action will be taken. We will be doing our best to keep you updated with the latest information. As long as the machines are switched off, there will be no new revenue payments from these machines. Further, we will collect no maintenance fee on the Umisoo, ANTS2, and ANTS3 during this time.

Note: GH/s trading for these units will continue as normal. Users may still buy or sell mining contracts for the Umisoo, ANTS2, and ANTS3 during this time.

Hashnest just bowed out of the bitcoin cloud mining game too. That basically leaves AMHash and Bit-x, and Bit-x is running on fumes at this point.
