322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it ethical to break your gambling rules on: February 26, 2024, 08:52:48 PM

That being said, this week I noticed that I have continued in the same trend despite that I have a personal gambling rule, not to gamble for two weeks consecutively,  but unknowingly for me I am already in the third week without adhering to my own rule.

So this led me to ask the general public if I am gambling too much, although this excess didn't affect my finances in any way since I still managed to come out with little winning at the end of the day and at some level, my losses are still below 30 percent of my set out money.

When it comes to gambling it's hard to set up rules that you dedicate yourself to adhering to when you're winning, it usually goes when you're losing, and when you are chasing your losses, you are not gambling too much I have seen gamblers gambling 24/7 for 365 days and they claim they are still good, you're gambling too much when you're losing a lot and you cannot or won't stop playing, that's gambling too much.
So you're still good because you still remember or realize you are breaking your own rules on gambling.
323  Other / Meta / Re: A simpler version of demerits: "dmerits" for every X merits earned on: February 26, 2024, 04:33:41 PM
So far this is the result of the poll
Yes   - 1 (6.3%)
No   - 15 (93.8%)
Total Voters: 16

Those who voted Yes understand that there's going to be abuse, we are not speculating we just foresee the scenario based on all our experience here in Bitcointalk

I know this forum and people may gang up on someone to strip enough merits to lower someones rank.

Others would rally round and add merits to help the guy out and it would be a fucking mess..
Total mess indeed.
324  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto Vending Machine on: February 26, 2024, 04:12:20 PM

It will open lots of questions from the choice of crypto kaysa dun sa concept ng vendo IMO.

325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have this practice of gambling during one's wake on: February 26, 2024, 03:19:14 PM
Yeah I just happened to pass by on one's wake with people doing cards, it's pretty normal in our country it's a way to stay awake and bear with the family throughout the whole night and since gambling is legal in my country they do this and part of the profit go to the family, its family tradition, majority of the family have done this and the authorities do not forbid or restrict this tradition.
Although gambling and its legal people are not here to make money but to condole with the family it's part of the tradition that will linger on as long as no law forbids this tradition.

327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Ryan Bourland Cruiserweight 8 Rounds March 2 on: February 26, 2024, 12:21:53 AM
Is Jake losing his appeal in the boxing community that he is relegated his fight to undercard he used to be the main card in many of his fights,
My thoughts exactly when I read it was an undercard. I guess that's because this is not sponsored by him and he just want to be part of the event.
He didn't have that kind of appeal to the real boxing community in the first place but kudos to him for taking a fight against true boxers. I just don't know if there were some talks behind the scenes.

Yet Bourland is not a high-risk opponent, but there's a possibility that Bourland can finally stop his journey in professional boxing, this is a level-up to his journey to becoming a champion but he is still a thousand miles away from reaching that goal after he stops Bourland he should go for boxers who are in the top 15 if he dares to be great he should be more daring for more challenges if its true that its not all about money.
328  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoFreebie.io - For The Players on: February 25, 2024, 11:44:26 PM

So what if everybody just gets the best deal in town, straight away? No hooks. Would they still jump around or create alts?
That's what we want to find out.

You don't have to wait and find out all you have to do is go through the scam section and check how casinos traced abuse by having an alt account of players, it's like inviting and enticing gamblers to try to cheat the system by offering them a better perks than what they currently have or don't have from the one that recruit them.
329  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoFreebie.io - For The Players on: February 25, 2024, 10:43:23 PM
Interesting concept, gambling affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money in the gambling industry, the giveway is also good but you also need to understand that if you're promoting well-established and popular casinos you are not likely to get more people here as casinos have it in their terms that they do not allow alternative accounts, you have a good chance if you include new and up and coming casinos with good potential and reputable that are not yet here in Bitcointalk.
Good luck with your venture since you have a copper account why not include graphic images to fully explain your concept.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Have Different Perception Of Gambling Operators on: February 25, 2024, 03:56:51 PM

The cockpit fighting just looks worse because a lot of money is needed to place a bet unlike the lottery where only a small amount is used to buy the ticket but if we count and total it, it seems like we lose more if we spend every day to buy tickets rather than placing a bet ocassionally in cock pit fight.

That's correct I have a friend who lost $200 equivalent in local currency in two hours of betting on cockfighting and when he bet on lottery he could only spend $10 when I asked him why bet only $10 when you can bet $200 on cockfighting he just said it's hard to win in a lottery than in a cockfighting so its more on the chances of the gamblers to win in a gambling platform where he is putting a lot of money.

That's my observation people spend a lot in casinos but when it comes to the lottery they only spend a fraction and many of them believe that there are almost zero chances to win in a lottery in casinos, so they treat every gambling platform differently from one another
331  Other / Meta / Re: Hey Theymos, There Should Be a Demotion Button on: February 25, 2024, 03:31:54 PM
Although I like the suggestion in general, but it seems @OP opened this topic because he received a negative feedback from high ranked user. Tongue

I am clear that it is not that it seems that way, it is that there is a clear cause-effect relationship between one thing and another.

Well, this explains a lot about why OP is dissatisfied with the current merit system and why he came up with this idea. Usually, people who are against the system are also the ones who are trying to abuse it.  I'm sure he would put his alt account farms to good use if we actually had de-merit or demote buttons.

So we have two discussions coming from OP that backfired on him and exposed him, I could have agreed if it was coming from a different account and not from someone who got exposed, the timing is bad, I also like OP's idea but it seems there's a hidden agenda behind it.

334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of gambling sites are scams ! on: February 24, 2024, 01:47:45 PM

How can I choose the best betting site that provides me with a safe betting experience?
Does this site provide a high level of safety for its players?
I need help from those with experience in this field

Bitcointalk is probably the best place to find answers to all your questions because we have announcements for casinos we have scam sections for players' concerns and Bitcointalk has a good reputation in the search engine making every complaint creating an impact on casinos.
The best settings should have no valid complaints, reputable casinos will always see to it that every complaint that comes along the way is properly addressed, they see to it they satisfy the gambling community with how they address the complaints.
They are very active in the community and their platform is praised by the community, these casinos are competitive and they create better features and better terms for the community without compromising their own.

335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - February 24 on: February 24, 2024, 11:13:51 AM
Undercard has started, unfortunately, for Filipino boxing fans, Jonas Sultan lost via knockout to Riku Masuda in round 1.

Kosei Tanaka vs. Christian Bacasegua Rangel for the WBO super flyweight title next.

Nobody saw this coming, Jonas is a veteran in championship fights it is very unlikely that he'll lose to a guy who is not yet a veteran in the ring having four fights in his career, but this is boxing anything can happen, a kidney punch is harder to recover than a head or chin punch because you can hardly breathe and you cannot move your body straight, a perfectly landed kidney shot will get you immobile for a few seconds.
Sultan will have a hard time climbing to the top again with this loss, he is expected to win here I even consider this a cherry-picked fight for Sultan.
336  Other / Meta / Re: Lock the 1xBit thread. on: February 23, 2024, 10:28:10 PM
I support locking the main thread only if it's possible based on the admins' decision, there's a possibility that they will hire shills to post and create positive feedback on their main thread, if there's a complaint on 1XBIT we have a scam section for complainants to post their accusations.
A thread about a complaint will look bad for 1XBIT, the more threads about 1XBIT issues the more negative feedback and harmful to its reputation, besides Discussions on 1xbit are all about the bad reputation of 1xbit.
The 1XBIT active thread here is useless.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis - Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title Date to be announce on: February 23, 2024, 09:41:40 PM
Yes, I did mentioned this fight in this thread. I'm also seeing Tank Davis will be the favorite here and beating Frank Martin by knockout.

He was probably advise not to fight Shakur that time and wait for this bigger fight and obviously the paycheck that will come with it. Tank Davis though is taking the time to clean up this division, he is part of the supposedly 4 kings of this division, however 3 of them have gone up already to 140 lbs and 2 of  them have become a champion already. So Tank needs to aggressively fight the best hear and unify the belt and not just protect his record.

Though it looks like a cherry-picked fight it's still worth it as a tune fight or a step-up fight, he and Shakur can make a deal to see who is the real king of the Lightweight division now that Haney is gone, Shakur has announced that he is retired but made a comeback announcement so I'm sure they are eyeing each other in this division, Frank Martin can give a good fight but he lacks the power and the ring generalship to back up against a complete fighter like Gervonta but his is still worth watching, every Gervonta fight is worth watching even if it's a cherry-picked fight.

338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - February 24 on: February 23, 2024, 12:33:30 PM
Fight fans, here are the official weigh-in video for this fight,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAWSjmCFqSY

Although it seems that Ancajas has a problem making weight as he needs to strip naked.

I don't know what to take though base on their body language, Inoue looks weight drain by sharp but Ancajas has still some body fats but still make the weight.

When I first saw the video I was a little concerned about Ancajas he is quite drained but he looks ok even smiling at the crowd now he needs to rehydrate I hope he has the right method for rehydrating himself this is a hard fight for Ancajas his last win although a TKO is against an unknown and not to his level fighter I hope he can shrug off the memory of his two losses against Fernando Daniel Martinez that two losses are ugly and a reference for all his opponents.
I'm sure Inoue's camp will use the Fernando Daniel Martinez strategy to beat Ancajas.
I hope Jerwin will capture another title we need more Filipino champions, the Japanese are taking over the supremacy in boxing in the Asian region.
339  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: m88.com forfeit 209 euros on: February 22, 2024, 10:25:41 PM
reading the complaints on trustpilot FatFork shared and a thread I found on Reddit, it sounds like it is not new to them to accuse their gambler of cheating and quickly confiscate all the money on the gambler's account. sorry that you had to experience this but I am curious, how did you stumble on this casino? this is the first time I have heard of it.

https://www.reddit.com/r/sportsbook/comments/vustup/so_my_bookie_just_scammed_me_out_of_my_money/

It's good that OP shared his experience here in Bitcointalk besides Trustpilot and Reddit discussion we now have another source of information about the status of m88, so anyone who does research can find this discussion here, there are a lot of unknown casinos that we are not aware of and funny thing is there are so many casinos that are not aware of the existence of the gambling section of Bitcointalk these are small and medium level casinos.

340  Economy / Services / Re: [available] Free Website Designing Service For Campaign Managers on: February 22, 2024, 08:58:21 PM
That's a great offer but they will not have an idea if there are no samples and what script you're going to use, is it WordPress or any other script  I checked your service page and there's no sample to look I'm sure some managers will want to have their domain to house all their projects and the services they are offering.
There's 4-5 CM's so if there's interest l'll get samples prepared or design something to CM request. Wordpress isn't suitable for CM bio there's lighter options to cover pages of info & promos. It shouldn't be longer than 10-15 hours work to finish.

I don't think I can accept that. WordPress is suitable for every content creator there's always a template for everyone regardless of your niche WordPress as you know is customizable and there's documentation for every WordPress template regardless if it's free or a premium template, Since I used WordPress I never shifted from other script because its a complete script and you will not want to use others once you see its features.

I hope you can show us a sample of your work I always see your service being bumped from time to time, I believe you are that good but we still need some proof, do you have an account on Fiverr?
