322  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain commoditizes cryptocurrencies, plural, as its complements on: April 20, 2020, 12:00:32 AM
-snip-

Quite a few words you got to say.

How about this...

You make me a better and more efficient miner and I'll buy from you instead of Bitmain.

Good idea?
323  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: S19 Pro on: April 19, 2020, 07:13:49 PM
but some countries are restricted and I asked Bitmain until when and why is that, their answer was just:

"We are sorry, orders are restricted for some countries."
generic bullshit answer is what they gave you.

Basically, yes...

And that wasn't even the only question in support ticket.

As always, they ignore what they want and just answer what they like.
324  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: S19 Pro on: April 19, 2020, 04:05:32 PM
But Bitmain restricted orders to some countries (Serbia for example).
ah kinda like when they started selling the S19 versions months ago to China only?
Well yeah, kinda. You can now buy internationally but some countries are restricted and I asked Bitmain until when and why is that, their answer was just:

"We are sorry, orders are restricted for some countries."
325  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: www.bithull.com SCAM on: April 19, 2020, 09:19:44 AM
bithull.com is a scam, no questions there!

I would send you guys more merit, but I am out of sMerit.
326  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Antminer S19 Pro 110TH/s, Shipping: 1-30June2020 on: April 19, 2020, 09:16:02 AM
thats a pretty hefty fee to remain anonymous.  id go straight to bitmain myself to save $1400

not that mining bitcoin is illegal or anything  Huh

Now if you had them in hand and ready to ship? thats a whole different story.

That is a total of $400 fee not $1400.  Please check the math.

Which is actually reasonable fee for miner of that cost.

I approve!
327  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: S19 Pro on: April 19, 2020, 09:14:22 AM
and you do know you can go to bitmain right now and order one right?

+1

But Bitmain restricted orders to some countries (Serbia for example).

About my other 4 questions in bold above, do you have an answer, please?

Q1-Immersion or really really really cold environment with ton of airflow.

Q2-Depends on settings you use, your ambient temp and luck of a draw (silicon lottery).

Q3-Not unless you are in very hot environment or you plan on going above specs of PSU.

Q4-I am not part of taserz team nor do I have anything to do with devs (I am just another customer who pays fee same as you) but I assume they wouldn't lower the fee.
329  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: S19 Pro on: April 18, 2020, 08:05:59 PM
You do know they haven't shipped any yet?
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Multiminer Bithull 360 TH/s for 4500$ and 550 W SCAM? on: April 18, 2020, 03:31:08 PM
Please delete that link so newbies do not get scammed trying to get something that is not even real.

I do not think it is a scam. I KNOW it is a scam.

332  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Raffle for one Antminer T17 40 TH/s Free USA Shipping on: April 17, 2020, 09:40:52 PM
Your calculation for BTC/USD ratio is a bit off for fyoung55 and me as 0.00546873 is almost 39$ while all others you almost hit exactly, for example 0.02373551 (kriptokyng) is 168.07.

But w/e, I will be paying during 18.04.2020.
333  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: MicroBT WhatsMiner M30S++, M30S+, M30S, M31S+ Hardware Specifics on: April 17, 2020, 12:14:45 PM
Yeah, those are both pages that I already found. But as you said, it could be insider info. I will wait for official one for now.
334  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: change Voltage & Frequency using cgminer api on: April 17, 2020, 12:13:20 PM
Yeah, that truly is one big plan. I'd imagine something like that would take a team of experienced programmers. But I can in no way assist you in that jakaba.

But I wish you all the luck!

Will be following this thread.
335  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: change Voltage & Frequency using cgminer api on: April 17, 2020, 11:31:36 AM
programatically changing volt and frequency.

Not really sure what you mean by that. Can you elaborate?
336  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: MicroBT WhatsMiner M30S++, M30S+, M30S, M31S+ Hardware Specifics on: April 17, 2020, 11:26:50 AM
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think M30S 88T was announced in December. However, it's good to see that it is finally being released.

Also, I cannot find official announcement from them (when I do, I'll give you merit).

And on Whatsminer's website from 30 generation, I only see:
M30S
M31S
M31S+

Also, I do not like their pricing AT ALL. It's even more aggressive than Bitmain's.
337  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: change Voltage & Frequency using cgminer api on: April 17, 2020, 11:18:44 AM
I have never used braiinsOS nor Awesome Miner so I cannot give any insight into them, but if you want to manually control Voltage and Frequency, I'd suggest you to try Rocket's firmware.

I've used it for about 9 months on my S9 machines before I decided to sell them. Was really satisfied. And now I am using his firmware for S17Pro/S17+.

P.S.
I am in no way affiliated nor do I have any profit from his firmware. I just like it and that is why I recommend it.
338  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: change Voltage & Frequency using cgminer api on: April 17, 2020, 09:26:06 AM
Use a custom firmware for S9s, do not meddle with things you do not understand (that tends to end badly for people).
339  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S19 and S19 Pro on: April 16, 2020, 06:26:50 PM
It might be just my bad luck with S17+ , or it is just a matter of difference batches, again everyone is free to buy whatever they want, by the way how are the temps doing with 91th, are you using asic.to?
Not sure about 91TH profile, I ran it for few hours and didn't like it's usage as it was preset. I went to manual OC and did 94TH/s @3750W and max temp on middle board (but only on one temp node) was 85-87C while ambient is between 20-25C. Other hashboards were sitting between 70C and 80C.

Another thing I noticed with the S17+'s vs my S17e or S17pro..... the S17+'s boot up way faster than the S17e or S17pro.

If I do a reboot, or point to a different pool, the S17+'s are back up in like 2-3 minutes, whereas the S17e and S17pro can take 7-8min

Same here, S17+ boots as fast as Z11 but S17Pro and S17e boot same as S9 (takes hell of a lot of time).

Yeah, saw your PM a week ago or so but never got around to answer here. And I just accidentally came here to check how full the list is and noticed there is a bunch of responses and almost 90% filled slots  Roll Eyes
