IMO that company isn't fake, it just probably isn't legal. Their sig campaigns are for advertising that they are hiring people for their company, which is a darknet company so it probably isn't entirely legal. There appears to be no scam about it and they aren't even offering any services, they just want people to work for them.

The questionable part is why they need four different campaigns for this.

You should add carra23 and hilariousandco.
You need to add yahoo. How did you forget yahoo? Though he doesn't accept me in his campaigns but he is a good manager.Do add him currently managing 3 campaigns i suppose.
Everyone listed here requested to be listed himself, I'm sure OP will list all those guys once they fill the form and request to be added.
In the OP he says that we should let him know if the list is incomplete or incorrect, and that is what we are doing. The list is incomplete, it is missing at least 3 members, 2 of them are well known campaign managers.
323  Economy / Services / Re: Hire me for Customer Support or to run your Signature Campaign on: December 27, 2015, 04:19:15 PM
You should add yourself to this list of campaign managers: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1303430.0

Why do you BUMP this thread that is so old? Don't SPAM !
He is still offering his services, this thread is linked in his sig. And someone is now putting together a list of campaign managers so he should be on it. I am just letting him know. I would add him to that list myself but I don't know enough details about what he offers so I can't add him. I am asking him to add himself there since he obviously knows his service better than I do.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: abnormally high number of blocks generated on: December 27, 2015, 04:17:11 PM
this is like saying, "we had an average of 1 block every 5 minutes for the past 4 day", double of the luck, would have been an issue in case it was every 1-2 minutes maybe...

as i see it it can happen, like it happened in the past that for two hours there were no blocks

4 hours not days..

i think luke_Jr had an itchy trigger finger and wanted to test out the bitcoin alert system.. even he, as a pool owner and developer should know that the difficulty doesnt change for 2 weeks.. so if a new miner has come on the scene or an existing miner has upped their hashing power, the difficult wont compensate for many days..
This isn't the alert system, and he has no way to increase the hashpower like that unless he bought a ton of new miners to do it.

and the chances of a miner upping their hashrate is not once in 50 years... its an every day risk..
where did luke_jr even get that 50year statistical calculation from??
If you read the full quote, he is assuming that the hashrate is not increasing. That calculation is the probability of finding 1 block every 5 minutes for 4 hours.

Quote
If the network hashrate was not increasing, this event should occur only once every 50 years
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price will rise even if its value doesn't on: December 27, 2015, 04:13:39 PM
From your infographic i conclude that there is a drop of 95% of dollar's value, but bitcoin will rise whatever happens to fiat.

well if bitcoin is tied to usd it will drop too, if it will be tied to the strongest new coin that will be inevitable dorp like any other fiat bitcoin will drop too

the only way would be if bitcoin is not measured in fiat anymore
But we should compare something on how much value does something have and we compare it in fiat, so we can't bypass fiat.
Bitcoin shouldn't be tied to any other coin or fiat. It should be like pretty much every other currency out there, it isn't intrinsically tied to any other currency. The value of Bitcoin should be how fiat currencies are valued, how much stuff you can buy with one unit.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price will rise even if its value doesn't on: December 27, 2015, 04:00:15 PM
Really is strange that the american people think they live in a free country, a country that can make it illegal to own a certain metal.....weird.  How did they even let there government make such a law...... Huh
It isn't still illegal.

The price of Bitcoin will inherently increase since other fiat currencies are inherently inflationary.

Try redownloading the wallet file. Maybe it got corrupted while you were downloading so btcrecover doesn't recognize it.

331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch for this imitated blockchain site bilockchain.info/ on: December 26, 2015, 11:34:07 PM
Fucking Phising .I'm reporting this website to blockchain moderators .Thanks a lot for sharing the info!
Reporting to blockchain won't do anything, you need to report this to google so they remove it from their search results and ads.

It's still available in a ton of other search engines. Sure, most people use Google, but believe it or not, some people use bing, and some other people that want increased privacy use stuff like start page, duckduckgo, etc.. so it would still show up there. The site has to go down.
Unfortunately you can't force anyone to shut down the site. All you can do is report it to as many places as possible so that those search engines no longer display the site in their results and that browsers and antivirus software will warn you if you visit the site.

333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Killer App? on: December 26, 2015, 03:55:36 AM
If people already had ideas on what this would be, then it would already be out there and making tons of money and bringing Bitcoin mainstream. And no one with a "killer app" is going to post it publicly so that someone else can steal it. I think it is pointless to keep making these threads and asking the same question over and over again.
334  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are the following sites legit? on: December 26, 2015, 12:53:39 AM
All of those are legit. Kraken is more USD/BTC and USD/LTC oriented but it does have altcoins. Poloniex and Bittrex are more altcoin trading oriented.

Roll Eyes even a 1,6GH/s USB key miner ... only generate 0.0002583 BTC ... PER MONTH.
It's not a miner, it looks like it is basically a faucet. However, I am concerned about the fact that it needs to be sideloaded. I suspect that this app is really just a virus.

Unable to decode output address

What does that mean? Apart from the obvious.
It is an OP_RETURN output so it the output doesn't go to an address.
337  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinchimp review on: December 25, 2015, 04:49:55 PM
Coinchimp is an exchange run by a known scammer, Michael Moriarity. DO NOT USE THIS SITE, YOU WILL GET SCAMMED BY A KNOWN SCAMMER!!!

Are prepaid cc good to buy bitcoins with? If some one could help me out here I'm new to this trying to figure it out
I am assuming when you mean by prepaid cc you mean a prepaid gift card like a visa gift card.

There are a couple of services that allow this, but they all have high fees so you wouldn't get as much. You should try using localbitcoins and just using cash, either in person or in mail. Just make sure that you always use escrow and check the reputation of the trader.

you can try this https://www.coinbase.com/join/5677e1b484d289540d0003dd, there to have the opportunity to buy BTC for credit card for , but you have conditions, some what country are you from
I don't think you can use a prepaid card to buy Bitcoin from coinbase. I tried a while ago and it wouldn't let me.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many developers are working on bitcoin vs alt coins? on: December 25, 2015, 04:38:43 PM
I disagree with those who say that Bitcoin developers are more then "one" altcoin developers , this list is not updated for sure https://bitcoin.org/en/development since Gavin is there and we all know that he left , and those are people who contributed so it can be over the years and they are not actual developers , and as far as I know , there is only five people or something on the Core team ? If it's the case then Stellar for example have more then that .
The Core developers have 7 people, people with commit access. And there are many people who should be considered core devs because they contribute many commits and to many discussions on the github, irc, and mailing list.

Gavin has not left core development. He still has commit access, he still contributes to github, irc, and mailing list discussions. I would not say that Gavin has left development.

Also, that list is up to date. IIRC it fetches from github the number of contributions each person has made to Bitcoin, and Gavin has most certainly made contributions. He should still be on that list, just like everyone else who has contributed.
340  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for anonymous Bitcoin domain registration on: December 25, 2015, 04:29:47 PM
The details while registering a domain must be real. Because , if the registrar hold ur domain or cancel it , you have to provide them with identify proofs of yours to prove that you are the real person submitted real data .

If your website is not bitcoin based and don't break the namecheap policies and rules, then i can host your site on my namecheap hosting i have 1 year hosting plan without any use.
Why would it not have to be Bitcoin based? Namecheap accepts Bitcoin, I don't think they would have anything against a Bitcoin based application.

OP, why don't you try using Namecheap? While you would have to give namecheap your personal information, they have an option called WhoisGuard so that you don't need to use your real information in the Whois information. That way no one actually knows who is behind the website and you would be safe. You can also pay using Bitcoin on namecheap.
