Hey fabiola I have an important question for you since you do seem to be the only female around on these forums.
Most women where I live go thru some period of bisexuality and experiment. I have been wondering for a long time where you might think this stems from...most guys never at any point experiment with other guys unless they are homosexual but women they will experiment often at some point with another female at some point in their life. From the simple making out when drunk to the full out woman on woman sexual experience, lot of women I have dated all have at some point that history.

This is not entirely true. Social conditioning and the perceived link between sexuality and male self worth is a strong deterrent against male sexual experimentation. However, when placed in close proximity inside foreign social environments, like in prisons and boarding schools, men have been known to experiment. In fact, experimentation in the military during times of conflict and war is quite well documented throughout the ages. I remember reading a particular case in the Borneo and New Guinea during WWII where American and Australian commanders became worried as too many soldiers were experimenting in the open! Accepted social model and expectations slowly crumbled in the two secluded locations, leading to hundreds of soldiers willingly and openly carrying out courtship rituals and sexual relationships. As society continues to evolve and move away from patriarchal and religious models, you will undoubtedly see a greater number of men experimenting sexually. ps: Hi Fab! That's really interesting, I guess it always depends on the situation but you're right foreign social enviroments can have all sorts of effects on people's behaviour whether it just awakens something inside or completely changes their personalities and way of thinking. Thanks for your response fabiola, much appreciated. After 2 years of dating, I just found out last night I had been cheated on by my now ex girlfriend. So guess I gotta start looking again for someone (really hurt and upset bout it but not going into detail on this crazy forum). Anyways, I'll keep your response in mind next time I hear a girl say such, but honestly I feel like the majority of girls who say such actually have done such. Maybe not sex but majority of women my age have made out with another girl at some point at the very least.
No lie, I wish I could meet you in person and have coffee n chat about bitcoin and crypto with you. You seem like an intelligent person and you also seem like the type that isn't just a nerdy person but someone you could have a truly intellectual conversation with.

Just wondering if there are any fellow girls on here who are into Bitcoin mining, trading, etc. It seems it's mainly guys. We are roughly 50% of the population of this planet yet I can't find any girls who are into Bitcoins, anywhere.
Everytime I try to mention Bitcoins while hanging out with girlfriends they always look confused and change the subject, yet they're not "dumb girls", they've been to Uni, spend a lot of time online, have paypal acc's, online banking, etc. Why are they so reluctant to hear about Bitcoins?

Meaning all heterosexual men like to watch two women go at it intimately but women don't generally feel the same about two men, so maybe this desire spread from men to the women nature? Maybe because of porn? Curious to hear your thoughts. In real life I swear I'm not creepy or anything like this, as a young 20 year old I just really have wondered this and obviously asking this to my female friends could come across as weird so figured I'd ask you, here on this anonymous forum. Lol. Well yes there are "real" bisexual girls and full on lesbians out there. But the rest of us straight girls...well...we realise we come across pretty "boring" being super straight and guys don't wanna hear about our sexy times with other guys from the past, it's a total turn off to them. So, to be more interesting, some girls make up stories of things they supposedly did with girls, at dorms, sleepovers, some drunk kiss at the club to get attention from guys, spank each other at parties, lol, we know guys love that sort of behaviour. The more we see other girls having fun doing and saying those things, and we see guys giving them so much attention for it, the more we realise its a total winner tactic. So to compete with these fun girls they have to do it too, that's it, peer pressure. It's that simple. So yeah, most of the time it's nothing to do with attraction towards some girl, it's just showing off to impress guys, the aim is to come across a bit naughty, carefree or whatever, so guys will find us more exciting. Me and my main friends happen to be straight and have not experimented anything with girls, ever, but ask any of our boyfriends/ex boyfriends and you'll be sure to hear A LOT of super exciting fabricated stories we have told them involving girls, lol, sometimes we don't even have to lie that much sometimes just tell them us girls had a sleepover last night and played truth or dare (and wink at him while saying it), or tell them we got together to help each other try on sexy bikinis for summer, and the guys imaginination goes into overdrive Ps. Before you give us straight girls stick for making up bi stories remember it's kinda your fault because you guys are obsessed with that sort of thing and sooner or later you always ask if we ever experimented, we don't wanna come across as the boring one who says NO and changes the subject, we would be single forever. So I guess you find it acceptable when guys lie about not cheating on you, cuz it's kinda your own fault, since girls don't like guys cheating on them.  Lol of course I don't wanna be cheated on! And it's not the same anyway I knew after my post some guys on here would feel bad to discover that they may be lied to so often, and how horribly scheming some girls are (not me). I was just saying that girls should be more aware of consequences with online activities, it's all fun and games now, most girls cam thru word of mouth, like her friend gets lots of cash through cam and they're like "I'm gonna do the same!". Some even do it for their self-esteem or just for attention. BUT there could be disastrous consequences, and they need to think about that before assuming it's just "fun" or "easy money", thats all I'm saying. Ps. 20K in my mailbox? is there at least a letter with it? a drawing? smiley face? nothing? I don't even know if it's legal to keep anon money, I would have to check. Some women find that doing their thing online is quite liberating and financially beneficial. Ya know, like, working from home and putting food on the table for their kids. Even the women in porn have no problem smiling or feeling good about themselves as they cash their paychecks every week. That said, each person should do what they feel is best for themselves and sink or swim according to that. I know, it's a personal choice, just as long as they are aware of the risks, if it helps them greatly or they have no other choice then go ahead. But girls who do it just because, or for "spare cash" so they can buy expensive clothes, I mean come on, that's an absolute joke, not worth it. |

Me too, but I don't think I will have enough coins to reach that. I am planning at $2,000,000 on the house and a Lambo will run up around $400,000. Maybe someday BTC will reach $10,000 or even $100,000 a piece, but the question remains, is that gonna be the same purchasing power as today, or will it be $1,000 for a loaf of white bread? You guys, why on earth would you want a mansion and a Lambo? Learn from the Japanese, they are happy in the smallest of houses, they don't need huge spaces. As for the Lambo, you may look good driving it but the reality is you'll end up with a bunch of speed tickets, if not crashed against a tree somewhere, or in jail for running someone over. |

Did you tell them they can buy shoes with bitcoin ? And many Bitcoin owners are freshly virtually minted millionaires ? I'm guessing only a few % of bitcoin users are girls. Look at the girls around you, I have spoken to many girls about BTC and some of them knew about Bitcoin, or knew people that used Bitcoin, but never really wanted to learn more about it. I think that the current marketing of Bitcoin isn't targeted to women, women think it's too complicated and are more afraid of risks. WOMEN ARE MORE AFRAID OF RISKS. Spot on. We don't handle risk and uncertainty as well as men do, we like SAFETY, we are just wired this way, goes way back. Probably has to do with motherhood i.e.making sure we are capable of keeping babies safe or something. |

I think they're back now, the website is up again. However, I don't know if the system itself is working as I haven't tried any transactions since this incident. |

As for startups, BTCChina was huge this past year.
Bitstamp's input looks more important now that I think of it. Bitstamp's website was down all day yesterday, couldn't get any money out, doesn't give me a good feeling. I have a deposit with them, too, nothing big, but a little worried as well. Yeah same here, i wouldn't lose much but Bitstamp is the only way I have set up to convert my Btc into fiat atm. They're saying now We are working to transfer a secure backup of the Bitstamp site onto a new safe environment and will be bringing this online in the coming days.Any thoughts about how long it's going to take? And how exactly they're going to make this work? Bitstamp customers can rest assured that their bitcoins held with us prior to temporary suspension of services on January 5th (at 9am UTC) are completely safe and will be honored in full.Temporary suspension of services?? That sounds bad. I was hoping maybe it was a glitch with their website or server, it sounds a lot more serious than that now. |

I think in time more girls will be on the ship with crypto, as well as programming and other geeky things.
