i guess i have to leave this forum for some days. I can't take it any longer. all threads are full with this shit about a fork...and the worst part: most infos about this are wrong .......okay....i will stay yeah, lots of drama and debate over fork vs anti-fork, im content to sit and wait to see what the community will lean towards in the near future. I think many will lean towards the fork though, something about doubling your coins or something i dont understand.

I used to be a huge bitcoin enthusiast however it dwindled as I lost what I had in the edgecoin and sharecoin scam. I am graduating from highschool in 2 days from now and In college there is free electricity. I just ordered a Antminer S2 to test at home so I have sort of a jist of things in college....however I have a few questions On the colleges internet you have to sign in before you can use it......will this work for the miners, how would i set it up? (if its possible to set up) What other miners should I be aware of for other potential purchasing options so I can help secure the bitcoin network while mining thanks before you get excited with the free electricity at the dorms, you should really reconsider the cons of having a miner in your living space; itll be loud and the antminer will generate A LOT of heat, im not sure the tradeoff will be entirely worth it.

i dont think playing that game for a few satoshi is worth your time, probably better off enrolling a signature campaign and becoming active in quality posting. as said above, it would take months to even see anything close to meaningful returns, even then those returns would be pennies.

The forum was recently hacked and everything had to be re-setup. Theymos hasn't gotten around to building the search index I guess.
theres your answer; hopefully everything gwts up and running soon, meanwhile you could search google for what you need and add "bitcointalk" in the search and you might get the results you want.

If you still have all your files and your computer is not comprimised then will you be safe.
Listen to me this is very important:
STAY CALM
Many people loose their bitcoin in the process of recovering them. As long as you stay clam and think very carefully about what you are doing, then are you good.
Read and study very careful what to do, do not rush into anything. Now is also a good time to take a full backup of your %appdata%.
Before you can have any help, then do you need to clarify the thing asked in the previous post.
And for the love of god, do not send you unecrypted wallet files to anybody, this place is crawling with scammers who would love to dine on your bitcoins.
Thanks for your helpful posts. Someone is helping me via PM I think but i'm gonna bet they want my wallet files. Yes, my original post said my computer was wiped but it didn't go through for some reason. All I have is the wallet.dat files. i never told you that i wanted your files. not even once did i ask for data except for screenshots of your multibit directory so that i could see what data you had left to work with. i explicitly told you how to recover your bitcoins.

How about 1k satoshi - up to 1btc per 10 or 30 minutes per claim, don't disable ads block extention unfortunately i dont think faucets will ever disable ads, ads are the primary if not only source of income for faucets, and those funds will go to hosting and supplying the faucet.

the blockchain isnt a company of any sort. as pointed out above, it is simply a public ledger, or record of bitcoin transactions, addresses, and blocks.

i think there would be too much incentive to cheat in these matches being an fps, or to even throw if its possible to bet against yourself. with those factors in mind i odnt think its possible to create an environment where the games could be completely fair. The exception is, of course, only allowing the possibility of betting on a third party match or on yourself along with a constantly updated anticheat.

just 1 for today, starts soon Did you bet on liquid? I did too. I hope I win, but I only bet a couple items (if I win I get like 2$ of bonus, on csgolounge) The thing you quoted pretty clearly shows that he bet on CLG. Oh I have never seen these diagrams before and didn't know where it said who bet. So the column where it says match:clg, thats who he thinks he is going to win I assume? just 1 for today, starts soon Did you bet on liquid? I did too. If you look at Match: CLG (-2.5) that's the pick he's making. The rest of the betslip is just indicating which match it is (can be Bo3 or Bo5 IIRC), the odds and the bet value. the match is on a point spread favoring CLG. the line was lost anyways, clg won map 1 and liquid won map 2.
