321  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's the current bitmixer situation? on: July 27, 2017, 12:07:20 AM
Of course the signature campaign will stop. Why would they keep paying money to advertise a service that doesn't exist anymore?

The campaign thread managed by Lauda is already locked. Some people reported that they received their payments this last few days. Not sure about the other users.

Lauda, she was worked exponential by managing this and tracking high number of people in SMAS list for forum's goodness. I personally, worry about Bitmixer's closing statement by team. They are one bestest bitcoin mixers who have been done great job. Cryptomixers and others wasn't compete it that much with them.

Could it be linked to BTC-e takedown and the arrest of the operator?

Main charge is money laundering, Bitmixer could be connected to BTC-e or even operated by the same people.
We don't know if they are connected to bitmixer they are different business..
I am thinking that bitmixer got many reports or they got receive some email from FBI about their business that actually treating anonymous mixer and use by illegal. so they are get any report that they need to close their business.

According to this post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2042470.0

For some reason, out of nowhere, they decide to stop the website, so this means the signature campaign is over too? will they pay the current period? whats going on?

Why it is so important to you considering you have just a "member" rank and the Bitmixer was only accepting members with a minimum of "Sr Member". There is no "current period" as the signature campaign closed some day ago logically as Bitmixer business is over. We have been paid  correctly of course. If some members have a few posts not paid because their week was not complete before the end of th campaign, consider it lost
Maybe he is one of the alt account user and he was afraid of not getting the bitmixer campaign week post..
this is i think the reason that i can see as his message..
322  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin recovery on: July 26, 2017, 11:56:46 PM
You are lucky that 1 of the developer help you to recover your passphrase that i think its impossible to me to see there are devs that can contact personally and giving legit service.. i was thinking that what wallet you used that you forgot the passphrase and seeds?

Hi i'm bitcoin miner i will help you to push tx fast , i'm gone include your tx in to block to get confirm fast Transaction acceleration Our service contact info :~url~

I think you are off-topic this is not a topic related to your concern..

It is good thing to know that your BTC got recovered with the help of dev. Happy for you. So this is kind of lesson to everyone that we must keeper private keys and passwords stored in safe place. Like we should copy it on 3-4 places I would suggest. With me same incidence happened but it was worse than this. I lost my keystone file related with myetherwallet. My wallet had around 640 CRB tokens which was recently at the top of every coin in the market. I had bought this CRB's at initial price of 3-4 cents. The coin had pump of 1.7 dollars when I lost my keystone file and I was not able to access my account (still it is locked). So with that much pump I now lost my 1300 dollars which are still out there. This is very disturbing stuff and since then I'm saving each and every password and keystone files to safe place. Thats lesson for me and you guys as well.
Well there are times that people forgot or they don't care about their passphrase or seeds because they are still new and i think they will learn after they experience it just like what happen to me before that actually i never recover back my bitcoin its not a big amount or small amount but i forgot almost all passphrase seeds and deleted the wallet.dat because i was new before i am just in trial but when i was stay long using it i forgot the passphrase and the seeds where i put them. now i realize getting backup is always important..

How many bruteforce attempts per second can dave recover service make. I read they have 100+ computer cluster and specialized program to perform decryption. Could they brute force random additional passphrase (25th word) to recovery seed?
Well if they had large number of Super PC they can bruteforce the passphrase fast..
323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we see $50 ? on: July 25, 2017, 11:43:48 PM
For the state of bitcoin right now i think its impossible that the price of bitcoin will be crash at $50 or even hundreds are impossible to happen..
Don't expect that you can see this amount back.. because its already been successful that i think bitcoin can be acceptable locally for almost worldwide. for now just few country are accepting it local and legalized bitcoin..
Much possible right now to happen more price increase that i think the price can be rich until  $10k after 5 to 10 years depends of the fast growth of bitcoin in other country and hoping that here in my country bitcoin will be also acceptable so that i can develop my business here that accepting bitcoin as payment. .
324  Economy / Economics / Re: Sensitive market at this moment. on: July 25, 2017, 11:32:54 PM
In my opinion all altcoins are a bubble created to make easy money off greedy people. While some of them offer some good things on paper(like contracts in Eth), the main purpose is to pump and dump. This crypto business is still in its infancy and so many things are going to change and so many people are going get crashed during this process.
Not all altcoins, what is the basis of your statement, check on the top 5 markets of altcoins especially the Ethereum
who were able to compete with bitcoins in terms of marketcap. Ethereum is the most traded altcoins in the market nowadays
and some experts believe it will overtake bitcoin in the future in terms of profitability.
Well you have a point and yeah not all altcoin are just bubble created and useless.. some of the altcoin which is in the good in rankings in coinmarketcap those are useful in some other ways or accepted in other shop online .. unlike other altcoin that are just use for scamming people..
So for now if you want to hold an altcoin for a long time the best recommended are those in the rankings like you said ethereum lite coin XMR and other altcoin are in top 20 altcoin ..
325  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Exchanges versus Personal Wallets on: July 25, 2017, 11:24:49 PM
Its quite simple, with your own personal wallet, you own your bitcoin whereas if you store it on an exchange, they have your bitcoin. They can vanish in a instant and you'll lose all your bitcoin. Not saying that they will, but that can happen. And have happened before too, remember hashocean?
So, it is always best to have your bitcoin in your own wallet.
Hashocean was a cloud mining service .It was not a wallet. Even I had an account in that hashocean and got cheated by them. Regarding wallets ,can any one suggest me which is the best wallet to store bitcoins which has private keys because I got a notification from my bitcoin exchange to transfer my coins to some other wallet . Previously I was using multibit, but it's not that good.
Only electrum for me is the best to choose if you want to transfer your bitcoin that you can backup your private keys .. Other than other wallet..
Most of the traders right now or who are holding bitcoins they are now transferring their bitcoin to the safety place and electrum is one of the great wallet that i think your bitcoin are safe.. make sure after you save your seeds backup private keys where your bitcoin saved..
326  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which Wallet Has the Widest Coin Support on: July 25, 2017, 11:17:04 PM
No doubt Yobit as far as I know. So much widest coins support that most of them are shitcoins are already dead. Im not recommending it, I just stated it.

If there is always a new coin out then you have no choice but to use trading platfroms even they are not acting as a wallet. No way new coins will be just implemented if there is a standalone wallet that can support multi currencies.

Bit.Ac is a web multi currency although I don't if there service is still trustable. Let's wait for other feedback.
Obviously yobit is not a wallet and its really a stupid idea to make this exchanges or some exchange as a wallet. And to OP, exodus add some new coin to their wallet this from their new update. And I guess coinomi  and jaxx is just the same, just dunno how many kind of coins coinom have and they have desktop wallet this time.
I think yobit is exchange site and i think not a good idea to save altcoins there if you really want to save your coins safely the best that i think you can use is to install 1 by 1 in your pc and save.. your altcoin..
There is no safe wallet as of now and i am always heard about the jaxx issue so if you really want to hold more than  10 altcoin in the same time for safety install wallet separated in your own pc..
Well since yobit is alive for a long time i think you can use their service but saving your altcoin for a long time is not a good idea.
327  Other / Meta / Re: Stolen account on: July 25, 2017, 06:40:37 PM

328  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is it safe to keep bitcoins at Xapo wallet during the 1st August period? on: July 24, 2017, 11:56:09 PM
For now segwit will activated soon 7 days  from now that i think if you don't have fully control anytime everything can be possible that your bitcoin can be gone in the site because of segwit. this is what other people afraid for..

I had quite big amount of bitcoins in Xapo wallet and few days ago I decided to withdraw it. Not just because of possible fork, but in general, I wanted to have full control of my btc. Xapo didn't clarified what they would in case of fork. It's most likely that they will allow to use coins only on one side of chain.
Blockchain.info also isn't a perfect choice. It's recommend to use Bitcoin Core wallet, but for well known reasons, not many people using it. I advice to keep your coins on Electrum desktop wallet.
I was stop using xapo these days i was using their debit card but looks like right now its not safe because of too many warnings i heard from other people so i decided to stick in electrum wallet which is more safe to hold our bitcoin for a long time and until we see the normal run of segwit this coming august period we can use back the other wallet but for me staying in electrum wallet is much more wise to choose because you can backup your own private keys.. So if you save lots of bitcoin in xapo better to take them out and transfer to the good wallet that you can save your private keys..
329  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The lagest Bitcoin mixer is about to stop working on: July 24, 2017, 11:21:56 PM
I was shocked that this mixer with be shutdown because of anonymous transaction and accept the fact that its illegal..
Well i see some other ways right now to use mixing like chipmixer that i hope this one will not shutting down we still need this because gambling here in my country is illegal that i think it can ban our account if we receive bitcoin from gambling..
This is honestly wasn't expected to here from bitmixer well we respect their decision..
330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Worth investing as a student? on: July 24, 2017, 11:03:59 PM
I think as a student if you are holding that amount and want to invest it in bitcoin.. better to invest it before the price can be increase more soon.. if you heard the price before when the price reach $1,800+ you already made a good profit today and you already make high profit.
And if you holding even 1 btc you can make almost $1000 because of the price increase if you sell your 1 bitcoin right now when the price of bitcoin is $1800+
So it is worth it to invest if you are just investing in bitcoin but investing in other altcoin i can't guaranteed that you can make a good profit it will be still depends in the demand and supply of altcoin.. but much better to stay with bitcoin..
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to deal with multiple accounts and abusing faucet? on: July 24, 2017, 10:49:21 PM
Banned their ip's you can't please everybody to not use multiple account but you can control them by banning them on your websites maybe it is really hard to control it because you will manage to review all the logs people are really smart they will grow their money via faucet or simple remove your faucet and maybe those who high rank can only access your faucet reward./
Honestly it's hard to ban people basing on IP address only because there are a lot of applications now that could hide their real IP address, for example I can use VPN to change my location and IP address. In my understanding faucets were integrated in your site because you want to attract more people to visit and most gambling sites has that also, so I guess you focus on other things to improve your site so you'll be profitable in the end.
Monitoring ip could not help right now if you have an internet with static ip here in my country we have an internet here just reboot your ISP you new a legit ip every time you reboot the ISP or off and on your Internet modem you can get a new ip..
We don't have dynamic ip except for line internet here.. so without using any vpn here we can be still change our ip easy and legit..
The best thing that i think they need always check if the webrtc is enabled and cookies  if they are not using cookies or saving cookies and they are disable webrtc expect that they are using tor or they are using tools like random spoofer and disable webrtc just to completely use of hiding their own ip with the vpn with scan protection..
So this very hard thing to do but you always need to collect the cookies.. but if they are not recording the cookies you can check if their webrtc is disable so that you can trace the real ip.. i am using https://whoer.net/ as a user just to check if  i'm anonymous and can't trace my ip.
332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you deal with USD to bitcoin conversions? on: July 22, 2017, 12:00:32 AM
I think the method given by iluvpie60 is enough and watch or monitor the price of altcoin or bitcoin here https://bitcoinwisdom.com/
Use it as your present or updated price and the the method above just use the times  to calculate it into usd.. This is the fastest way and follow the real price..
If you can go in the market you can see the updated price of coin..  you can also use the http://preev.com/ but there are only limited altcoin but you can relay to the result..
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still faster than Paypal. on: July 21, 2017, 11:35:12 PM
These are two different concepts for comparison, but PayPal makes payments faster than bitcoin. But bitcoin is a currency with which you can earn.
I am pretty sure that it doesn't matter if people send or receive payments with Bitcoin, the speed of their transactions are pretty much instant compared to most banking companies. PayPal has a higher chance for money loss since the people in PayPal like to rip their customers off even if they are in the right.

Paypal is the not best good or better than bitcoin according to me. Since the time and cost of the transaction btc is top. Other than that I have heard that paypal has been involved many email scam attempts.
Bitcoin or any blockchain technology does not involved in scam, only people do btc related business only scam us.

You're accusing paypal of being involved in email scam attempts?

Enlighten me, how will that work?
They will trick you to give them your paypal password? This is hilarious.

Let's be honest a bit here.
If we count how many paypal users are there and how many bitcoiners and we compare the amount of scams involving the two..ouch.
Or if we compare the number of successful attempts to get your money back...oh wait , in bitcoinland it does not happen.

But again you're comparing a currency with a payment method.
Compare paypal with bitpay.

Your arguments are extremely one-sided.

Let me say something then: The amount of people who got scammed by paypal chargebacks, and compare that figure to the amount of bitcoin chargebacks or doublespends.

OH wait, in bitcoinland there are no doublespends/chargebacks after 6 confirmations. That's 60 minutes. Let's look at paypal then, you have to wait 180 days. You might say, fair enough, that should be the warranty period... But wait, there are people that have been charged dback after YEARS, because whether paypal can be charged back depends on the credit card company, and credit card companies often side with the buyer.

As a seller online, do you really want to get into this? Prolly not.
Well said, Me too I have experience in the paypal that my account has been lock and it's have almost 400$ but unfortunately that time I am just an under age so no proof of billing and after a year my money has been gone when I have the requirements I am not underage in that year.

I don't know why you guys have a so bad opinion about the Paypal service. Every service will have their won terms and conditions and as long as you follow them then I don't think you will have any issues. I'm using Paypal over last 10 years and never had any issues and I bought many items using their payment service in last 10 years.

I use bitcoins mainly for investment purpose and Paypal to buy things online from unknown persons. I like both of them but for different purposes.
I think they not actually want paypal but for me they are both have feature that actually both i need from bitcoin this is my majority right now since some of the network i currently working they can pay bitcoin...
But some of the affiliate network  only paypal needed so i still use paypal because there are site can't pay in bitcoin the good thing i think paypal is more faster when sending payment.. unlike bitcoin if you pay low fee your transaction will takes time before it confirms..
334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gunbot trading bot on: July 21, 2017, 11:19:06 PM
yeah i agree, after seeing all the good feedback i decided to buy my license, i can say it is a very easy bot to use and telegram group is very active and helpful.
double thumbs up for such amazing bot Smiley

Is it possible to give us a little feedback after using it please? on how easy It's possible to use and how profitable It can be and the investments you must make in order to start making some profit.
Making profit using bot would be still depends in your own setup and i think there is no assurance that you can make a good profit using bot and bot can only help you to automatically manage your coins.. signals, auto sell, auto buy, but its just a tool that can manage your coins not making profit..

I think manually will be still good to make a good profit.. just use some apps that can give you a sound or alert if the price is increasing or the price decreases.. in this way you have a signal what will happen in bitcoin that i think you can be still trade using phone..
335  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mining bitcoins manually on: July 21, 2017, 10:07:51 PM
You can 1 to 4 btc but it takes hundreds of decades before you mined even 1 btc..
Maybe he is talking about captcha solver just like other altcoin that you can mine the altcoin just for solving captcha the more you fast to solve the captcha the more you can earn altcoin..
Its not the same as bitcoin that actually  it needs a machine to mine it before bitcoin can be mined only with pc and with good specs you can mine altcoin  with a good speed..  but right now i think they need more effient machine like ant miners to mine bitcoin..
336  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 21, 2017, 12:06:03 AM
I agree with what you are saying btcton, if you deposit 1 BTC and then retrieve the same amount, people can easily track your addresses and then they can obtain all your addresses, and from then some hackers will be able to find your wallet and then hack through it. This is why sometimes gambling/donating your funds are beneficial since it does make it harder to track.

Chipmixer offers a regular mixing service but adds heaps of features to make it secure.
That is why they are adding gambling is just to increase to anonymity of the transaction which is it will hardly to track your bitcoin..
And if you are lucky to win in gambling it can increase more the security of your bitcoin because they seen that you only have 1 btc as sample and win in gambling and you can receive it as 2 btc  minus the donation if you donate.. and it will hardly to trace your transaction..

This is a unique mixing service that i never seen from other mixers ..
The other good thing there you can only pay how much you want to donate.. unlike other services ..
337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1 Million satoshis per day on: July 20, 2017, 11:55:41 PM
i million satoshi equally to $23 if we compare with the current price and which mean your target profit for a month is $690 but the problem is not in your basic capital because 1 bitcoin is enough to start trading and trading is unpredictable jobs although today you can get profit but tomorrow is not sure even there is possibility day after tomorrow you will be loss so my answer is not because in my view there is no steady income in trading

I won't say it easy to make BTC0,01 everyday as people could lose in trading as well.
But, some people could make more profits on the another day if lose today, so you still have chance to collect BTC0,3 per month and even more than this if your capital (BTC1) invested on potential coins, which is the hard part of trading.
I think staying trading with bitcoin to usd or usd to bitcoin is much better than trading with altcoin for safety reason you can make a large profit with only bitcoin you can make profit today but expect in few days you can make a good profit  and you will never lose in bitcoin if you know the trends sometimes if they heard bad news about bitcoin expect the price of bitcoin will reduce soon just like what we heard few weeks ago about bitcoin that there is possibility that bitcoin will be die after august 1 but right now because of the segwit and some miners test segwit looks like other people are now buying more bitcoins because they know what actually will be affect of segwit after activation..  and more price will increase after august 1..
338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins traders, I need your advice. on: July 20, 2017, 11:34:36 PM
Hi, I am planning on doing some trading on Localbitcoins to make extra cash or Bitcoin on the side while working in an office. Is there a guide somewhere I could read? I do not want to straight up post my bids and asks without knowing what I am doing. Please help.
Like other said almost you can see the tips if how to trade  or any some guide how to trade.. if you are just trading with local bitcoin and none altcoin  you can make a good profit the simple and old guide shared by almost other traders always buy with low price if you seen there is a large dump you should buy bitcoin and expect that the price will increase in few days or weeks and sell if you seen in the trends the price will be still increase better to wait and sell if the price will increase more but if you heard some bad news here in forum or outside like in btc news expect that the price of bitcoin will reduce..
