Great looking cover Cheesy
Why don't you send it over to Time magazine...
322  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk official exchange on: December 20, 2015, 08:43:49 AM
Bitcointalk doesn't need an exchange service. You have the marketplace already.

If you wish to help decentralization, why not create your own exchange?
323  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will halving affect the value? on: December 20, 2015, 08:40:30 AM
It has to affect the price, I'm sure of it.
Miners will be getting half of what they're getting now. Although, it's not like they're dumping everything to make their mining sustainable, still they will need a price increase.

Better discussions,
More threads
The bots and 5$ scammers are back.

Do you guys the same feeling that forum is getting back to its old self again?

I sure do.

Just means it's getting more popular... Expect even more of this stuff. At least until the mods put in more work Cheesy
Nothing bad though, any kind of increase in forum activity is awesome.

One thing that gets on my nerves often is people constantly asking about their activity and account rank.

Yeah I suppose it does. But to you, do you feel like its getting back into its old self or am just I getting that feeling.

Was it ever any different? There were always scammers and bots... Maybe you're just seeing more of them.

326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to change BTC into cash in Europe? on: December 19, 2015, 05:30:11 PM
if you don't want to do it locally, you can do it via exchange and then receive the money on your bank account, after that you just go to any atm in your zone and withdraw your cash

That's the worst way of getting cash in exchange for BTC. The transfer fees, exchange fees and all the stuff make it better to do via LocalBitcoins, or just finding a friend who will buy bitcoins from you.

What I would like though, is more Bitcoin two-way ATMs. That's helpful for both people and decentralization.

328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't let bitcoin overtake your soul on: December 19, 2015, 03:41:51 PM
Money makes you go blind. Well, I guess you learned a valuable lesson there...
Not everything is that bad, move on and push your life in a better direction. But if you think Bitcoin ruined your life, you're terribly wrong. You're just blaming something else for your mistakes.

Well, the easiest route would be looking people up on LocalBitcoins. You'll surely find someone.

Another way is using an exchange service, get the money to your bank account and then get the cash out.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When was your first "awareness" of Bitcoin/How were you made aware? on: December 16, 2015, 01:05:12 PM
Heard of it last April on the news, citing negative reports to be avoided, until my female colleague introduce this to me and tried it out last month.  Smiley

And, how do you like Bitcoin since then?
I hope you are enjoying all the good and bad things that's happening. It keeps me entertained at least Smiley
332  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] What.CD and PTP account/invite on: December 16, 2015, 11:02:44 AM
If you can provide me with good ratio proofs from other private trackers, I will give you a What.CD invite for free.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone buy during $1200? on: December 16, 2015, 12:11:14 AM
Hey all, just as the title says, did anyone buy bitcoin when it's price was at it's peak ($1200)? And did they sell as it was dropping, or did they still hold on? I personally felt something was happening when it peaked :-/

So, back to the topic. Did anyone buy, and did they sell as it dropped? How much did they lose? Did you feel really really sad? What kind of an emotional impact did it have on you?
i never know bitcoin went upto 1200 lol, i thought the highest was around 1000. i started using bitcoin when it was around 1000 but didnt really buy much. i remember buying like 0.01 coins

1,254 or something is where it topped out! lol  I didn't have any at that time.

It reached gold parity acrually, even went above for a bit.

I, to answer the topic question, bought some around $800, luckily not at $1200 then Smiley
Did fail to sell at that time which I regret a bit...
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: now its my habbit that every morning i check bitcoin rate.lol on: December 16, 2015, 12:01:59 AM
Now you guys made me watch the price on my desktop too Cheesy

Distractions, distractions.
Well at least it's a bumpy ride!
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When was your first "awareness" of Bitcoin/How were you made aware? on: December 16, 2015, 12:00:54 AM
Heard about it in late 2009, started mining in 2010. somewhere.

Heard about it through, well you could say, underground news. It's was a pretty weird thing back then, and not many people trusted it will grow up to the size it is today. Luckily, Bitcoin had a great core community and eventually it got huge.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 15, 2015, 11:55:41 PM
I love reading old posts in this thread, I see a lot of guys who made a lot of money early on in this thread.

I got into bitcoin around May 2014, I'm not the new wealthy elite from bitcoin but I am a HODLER & have bought regularly since May 2014. Hopefully one day I can post in this thread with justification.

Hold and it will pay off. Has to.

Though I keep saying it to everyone, I tend so sell mine recently. Hoping to buy some ASAP.

Svaka ti dala Smiley

Ne da nije lose, vec je fenomenalno. 1600 dolara je velika cifra.
Posebno u BTC, gdje se moze i porez izbjec.
338  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Pizza for bitcoins? on: December 15, 2015, 11:52:39 PM
last night im watching the rise and rise of bitcoin
after watch this movie,  bitcoin Is something spesial to me,

I say with myself, Im very stupid , why im not learning Bitcoin in 2009
and try to be seller, sell  1pizza with 10.0000 BTC  Cheesy

if im do it today Im The richman  Cheesy

who knows bitcoin will be the next big thing at that moment in 2009, many people doubt bitcoin will survive and continue growing, so if you there in 2009 i doubt you want sell 1 pizza for 10,000 bitcoin. one thing that we can learn from lord laszlo are he try to convince and spread bitcoin to everyone through this trade.

yes we never know about future, i doubt too in that moment i want to sell 1pizza= 10.000bitcoin but im sure i will sell 1pizza = 5.000bitcoin because i like everything new technology.
in 2010 im earning some $ at PTC but im never heard about bitcoin,

we cant going to the past, but maybe in future, someday we would regret that we're bought smartphone with 1 bitcoin, which is 1 bitcoin you could get a new car in future

Live in the moment. You are doing a great thing buying things with Bitcoin. Do not ever regret it.
If you think you will be able to get a car with BTC in the future, why don't buy some coins now? Wink
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Wired discovered the real Satoshi Nakamoto? (.. this time) on: December 15, 2015, 11:51:05 PM

It's becoming clear that everything the "media" pushes is a hoax, a lie, propaganda

Thats true. Good journalists are loosing their jobs when they report critical nowadays. Julian Assange must hide in an Embassy for telling the truth.

Most conspiracy theories have a true core.

Some media is hoax, but not all. In this case is a hoax, Wired hasn't discovered Satoshi.

At this point the media is going to suffer from "the boy that cried wolf" syndrome, basically they have said so many times that they got the real satoshi that when they eventually do get the real one, no one is going to believe them, which is actually good for us because that is the ultimate defense for satoshi against his privacy.

Once the real satoshi appears, there will be proof. I don't see why anyone wouldn't believe the person found is satoshi, provided it's proven in a legitimate way.
340  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Was the JFK Assassination Hoaxed? on: December 15, 2015, 11:48:57 PM
The paranoia seems to get through to people lately, and for a valid reason.

There's a lot to be talked about not only with the JFK assasination, but with all kind of other hoaxes USA tends to do with things. There's simply too many things going on. Try reading less mainstream media. They're often manipulated.
