1102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: After 2140 - Last Bitcoin mined. on: June 22, 2014, 07:12:12 PM
Mining is essential to keep the network going. The 25 BTC with a block is called a block reward because it is what it says it is - a reward for successfully hashing the block.
Read up on the protocol documentation to find out more.

When 21M BTC are rewarded from blocks, there will be no more blocks that have a reward, but miners will still be rewarded with all the tx fees, just as they are now.

If everyone shuts down their ASIC units, the difficulty will go down, and GPU mining would then be back. But it's 2140, who knows what's gonna happen in 100+ years.

To be honest, I'd be very surprised if bitcoin survived that long. I think there could be existential threats (such as new decryption methods that threaten public/private key security, etc) that loom within that time. Hopefully not, but.... Undecided

Couldn't care less about it. I'm not gonna live to see 2100.

Nesto sad kontam po pitanju remote mininga, jel' moze ovo da radi uopce?

1. Postavim neki wallet lokalno na sljedeci nacin:

server=1
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=22222
rpcallowip=*

2. Provjerim svoj IP na http://www.whatismyip.com

Vise nikad neces htjet nista drugo.

Go, 600, go!

This month's price movement is just like how it's gonna be when Wall Street starts doing their "magic". Up, down, sideways, down, up. Repeat.
1109  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: June 22, 2014, 07:00:12 AM
Fucking Bosnia. You fucks didn't deserve to get into the World Cup. Play like a bunch of fucking amateurs. I see better fucking ball in my local park. God damn worthless sacks of shit. Hope your country goes back into civil war

Looking at your reaction, I really suspect that you lost money betting for Bosnia.  Grin

Yes. The Bosnians were awful in their match against Nigeria. I think they were too arrogant for their own good. They probably underestimated Nigeria, at least in the initial 30 minutes of the game. The Bosnian strikers were awful. They were hitting the ball all over the park, with the exception of the goalpost.

Too many surprises in this World Cup. But yeah, Bosnia was bad this match. They were a lot better with Argentina. This was like the level they played in the qualifying stage, really lame.

I have a full time great job, paid 40 hours, usually work 60 hours and I still have time to post a shit load, I don't sleep alot.
the fact people are using multiple accounts "because the forum lets them have alts" is so despicable it makes my blood boil.

like you said he is giving people the chance to make $1200 USD which is ALOT of money to some people, bit of extra cash to me, but eeeh.
but yeah... only fucking low life signs up with multiple accounts to do this.

not accusing anyone of this. Just a few people have said its ok because the forum lets us. Well the forum isnt paying are they ? Stunna is ?
The forum also lets people scam the shit out of each other ? The forum also has been involved in some high profile scams... but we don't like to talk about that do we.... The forum also sells there secret shares in GLBSE and the forum also would happily let any one of you get scammed, by staff and not give a shit.. so lets not talk about what the forum allows.

this is not directed at anyone, but the hole the forum allows is......  take a long hard think people...

Seems like Stunna have decided already, if you see the OP he have stated that only 100 posts per week will be counted, good bye spammers Smiley

it seems a bit too low imho, what if someone has the time to post constructive posts all day? not really fair but whatever...

As a hero member, one could do a full-time job with this. Not anymore...

Where did you get that 1200$?
Maximum is 0.48BTC, in dollars under 300$
400x0.0012BTC is 0.48BTC
And max for me is only 400x0.0004BTC = 0.16BTC = under 100$

I was talking about when it was 2.4 BTC monthly.

I´m normally not very reluctant regarding so called FUD. But that FBI auction is not even worth to be called FUD. It´s the lamest excuse ever that the market is going down (or retracing).
Bulls are scared shitless about everything nowadays. What is going to happen if we get actually get some real solid FUD in the next time?

GHash.IO was real FUD. You can't deny that.
1115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 21, 2014, 10:09:17 AM
Marching towards $600 again. Slow, but steady. Also, it's Saturday Cheesy USA is gonna wake up soon.
1116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 21, 2014, 07:28:59 AM
Wonder how long it took them to pump all that water out.

We going for a weekend rally? And what day does this whole auction thing come to a head? Is it June 27th?

Yeah, I believe the auction ends on the 27th. Hope the buyers don't dump it all afterwards.

We seem not to wanna go below 580. Holding currently at 585 really good.

Anyone entered a group buy for the SR coins?
1119  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What is Immature bitcoin. on: June 21, 2014, 05:46:09 AM
Mined coins also need to mature, kind of like transactions. Wait for more blocks to be found and it'll mature.

Back when I mined, it was 101 confirmations, not sure if it is yet.

I don't see why you wanna cut out members. It's better for Stunna that more people are in the campaign. How can't you see it?
More people = more sigs = more traffic.
