ETA: Devawnm367 has responded, his account is fine. Sorry for the false alarm, locking this thread!
I have strong reason to believe that Devawnm367's account has been compromised.
What happened: This morning I found a loan request by Devawnm367 in my lending thread. The unusual thing is he is using an address that he's never used before. That alone is out of the ordinary. The only time he's changed addresses on me before he was very careful to explain the reason for the change. The address used for this request has never been used before and has never been posted on the forum. Again, completely out of character for Devawnm367.
The request was signed, and the signature is verified. Once I found the request, and the odd address, I sent Devawnm367 a message using a third party messaging app that we normally use to communicate. He hasn't responded to my message, yet he sent me a merit for my lending service thread since my message was sent. WTF, over? The merit indicates that he's been online, yet has not responded to the IM I sent him.
Devawnm367 is a great guy, he's not a scammer. I hope this is just a misunderstanding, but I strongly suspect that his password may have been phished, and someone has hijacked his account. If he contacts you offering a trade be very careful to confirm you are dealing with the real Devawnm367.
[Archive]Once this issue is resolved, I will remove my negative rating, and lock this topic.

I recon the point of this thread is to provide enough evidence of Tecshare's trolling to get him banned? I'm sorry if you guys think that's the right thing to do, but I disagree. I've recently been one of his targets, and I don't feel like it's such a big deal. Like many other aspects of life, we will have to deal with misinformation, lies, and attacks. By leaving it to the community to decide whether there's any validity to his claims, we take the higher ground. By looking at the DT1 list we can see that his efforts are not very successful. Just thought this was relevant to the conversation: I prefer to have an actual debate if my opponent is capable, but often they are not and resort to all kinds of illogical semantic games and personal attacks. At this point, yes I will absolutely troll them for my own amusement as well as to demonstrate their motivation of arguing from a position of lack of emotional control rather than logic. If you come at me with anything other than solid logic, one way or another I get my pound of flesh.
Of course, he is the arbiter of what constitutes "illogical semantic games and personal attacks," so he gets to decide when his trolling is justified and when it isn't. It's really quite extraordinary how much deflection exists in that post you quoted. He'll attack people who disagree with him, call them names, refuse to see the logic in their arguments, and then point the finger at them and blame them for every thing for which he is guilty. But is that really enough of a reason to seek his banishment? Yes, it's true that he's a troll. One among a long list of trolls on this forum. This whole anti-Tecshare thing is starting to look like a witch hunt. I wish it would stop.

I think the biggest & most exciting game this weekend is the Manchester Derby. I’m really excited to watch this match, hoping it’s a really attacking game, full of goals.
That should be a fun game to watch. I'll be rooting for ManU, hoping they can beat or at least draw City. I think the biggest & most exciting game this weekend is the Manchester Derby. I’m really excited to watch this match, hoping it’s a really attacking game, full of goals.
Liverpool - Bournemouth : I am going to watch. Arsenal - West Ham : Expecting a good match Palace - Watford: Good luck to Watford. They can beat any team. Prove : Beating Liverpool in the last round. Sheff - Norwich: Not much interesting Southampton - Castle : Nothing to mention much Wolves - Brighton : Not much interesting for me Burnley - Tottenham : Tottenham needs a win. These are my thinking about tomorrows match. I will be watching Liverpool and Arsenal match. Great list. I also expect the Arsenal West Ham game to be a good one. The way West Ham played against LFC a week ago should put the Gunners on notice. I'm rooting for Arsenal to string up a few wins, and hopefully make it into the Europa League next year. The LFC game sounds boring on paper. But since they've been struggling lately, the UCL game coming up, I expect some changes in the lineup which should make this to be an exciting match. With relegation threatening Bournemouth, I expect them to bring their best game against LFC. The Watford match should also be a good one. I hope they look as good as they did last week.

1) DOES NOT have anything to do with cryptocurrencies !!! This couldn't be more wrong. Politics influence financial markets, they always have and always will. 2) In this section there is nothing but mutual insults and reproaches If you can't engage in a political discussion without taking things personally, don't read the political section. 3) inciting ethnic hatred Ethnic hatred will continue to exist with or without Bitcointalk.org's Political sections. If hatred is to cease, discussion of our differences will be the catalyst. 4) This provokes conflicts between users who (conflicts) are then transferred to other sections of the forum (personal enmity) That may be true, but that's freedom for you. Sometimes people say things you like, and other time they say things you don't like. 5) Messages and topics, except insults, obscene expressions and all kinds of fake news and speculation, make no sense This forum values freedom of speech. I've participated in many forums over the years and never experienced the freedom that is present here. 6) Messages and topics violate the current legislation of many countries Sorry, not sorry. 7) etc., the list goes on and on You are free to ignore the whole section. Or, as an option, move the "politics" section to "Off Topic" so that it doesn't appear at all. But it isn't off topic. Also, messages in the "Off topic" section should not be taken into account when counting posts (activity). It sounds like you should start your own forum, where you can be a dictator.

At this point she seems to be intentionally trolling the Democratic establishment, which I certainly respect. She's burned a lot of bridges (eg. she'll probably be primaried for her Senate seat), so I wonder what her future plans are. It almost looks like instead of aiming for higher political office, she's aiming to get a primetime show on Fox or something. Oddly enough Gabbard probably had the best chance of stripping a large number right-of-center moderate and independent votes from Trump in the general election. I knew early on in her bid that she would never get the support of the DNC, she's not the "toe-the-party-line" type and the Democrats hate trouble makers. I bet you're right that her senate seat will be challenged in the next primary, if she chooses to run. She's too smart to remain in politics anyway, and I wouldn't complain about her making daily appearances on TV.

If anyone from the progressive side of things is in on it its Warren. She hasn't stepped aside yet and it may be a deliberate attack to seperate the progressive votes into two, ensuring that Bernie is unable to rack up enough delegates. I believe you've on to something there. Considering that Warren's talking points often conflict with her voting record I think she's way more establishment than she wants us and her supporters to believe. Whether it's coincidental, or deliberate back-room dealings that put her in that position, her campaign definitely took votes away Sanders, and helped the other establishment Democrats. Now that she has dropped out, one would think that she would absolutely support Sanders, given her (supposed) progressive agenda. They may not agree on how we should to the policies they want, but in the end their policies are very similar. But she hasn't supported Sanders. And I doubt that she'll support Biden either. If she supports Sanders her establishment power position will be threatened. If she supports Biden she risks alienating her progressive supporters. Damned if she does, damned if she doesn't.
At this rate Bernie will be dropping out before next Tuesday.
I'm going to agree with KonstantinosM, I think you're being facetious, but in case you're not; the liberals in the western states tend to be fairly progressive. I wouldn't count Sanders out until the results from Idaho, N. Dakota, Washington, and Arizona are in. Arizona's primary is on the 17th, so I doubt he would consider conceding the race to Biden until then.

I know you're a senior member and only asking for $10, but there isn't much hope that you'll get a no-collateral loan. Your activity has been very sparse, less than 20 posts in the last 2 years. That doesn't instill much confidence in a lender. Maybe I'm wrong, but probably not.
Since you have a project you're working on, maybe you can ask your client for an advance on your pay.
Good luck.

Up until recently I thought the abbreviation "PM" meant private message, but I now recognize how erroneous that really is. Like TP said, no one should expect privacy when sending a personal message. This is the internet after all, and any message you send can be made public. Whether it should or shouldn't be private can be debated, but if privacy is expected we would be forced to rely on trusting the individual to whom the message was sent.
I would suggest that if you expect privacy, you should make it explicit in the message that you have that expectation.

Can the Democratic party survive given it's current trajectory towards socialism and federalist expansion?
I ask this as a disillusioned, former Democrat myself. I'm wondering about the party's future. To be honest, I'm not keen on it's survival if it keeps going the way it is. I would rather see it die a quick and sudden death than see it turn into the "Federalist" party and attempt to consolidate control, or worse, turn into the socialist party that many registered Democrats want it to become.
Then there's the Trump psychosis; most of the so-called "moderates" have gone completely bonkers over the fact that Trump was elected president. They can't seem to come to terms with the fact that they lost in 2016. Wasn't it enough that their party has controlled the Executive branch for the previous eight years? Sixteen out of the previous 24? Or, is that part of it, the fact that they had so much control for such a long period that they have gotten used to it? One can even argue that Democrats didn't give up much control during the Bush years, as he wasn't able to keep a Republican majority in Congress or the Senate for more than a few minutes.
This delusional phenomena (I'll call it Trump derangement syndrome, or TDS for short) is what has me bothered by today's Democrats the most. The constant delusions over collusion, and quid-pro-quo, and Porn Stars' memoirs, and who knows what's next. The lies, the deception, and rabid refusal to get over the result of the last election have proven to be nothing but a big waste of time. The weirdest part about it; they could actually get be getting a lot of stuff done with this president. He's hardly a true Republican, he's more independent than anything. He doesn't see issues strictly from a party line. If Democrats actually cared about solving the problems that affect America they would be working with him, not trying to undermine him. This behavior causes me to think there's more to it than just hating Trump and his twitter feed. I makes me believe that there is deep rooted corruption, not only in the Democratic party, but also among the Republican "Never Trumpers." These people will put in more effort to protect their power positions than they will to serve the American people. And they themselves are making it clear and obvious who they are.
Some might argue that the Democratic party is being swallowed up from within it's own ranks by so-called "Democratic Socialists," and that the more moderate Democrats are feeling disenfranchised by this trend. I would argue that's only part of the equation, possibly the smaller part. There have been socialists within the Democratic party for most of my life, but until recently they were marginalized by the more main-stream Democrats. I believe that the country is largely tired of TDS, and it's divisiveness.
I live a very liberal part of the country, and most of my family and friends fall into that category. Up until a few months ago one couldn't speak of his endorsement of Trump without getting a ration of disdain from those within earshot. Those who spoke of their disdain for Trump were met with accolades and agreement. But, within the last couple of months that seems to be changing. The most vociferous anti-Trumpers are now being largely ignored. Repeating the Main Stream Media's criticisms of Trump are now being met with arguments and challenges as opposed to accolades and agreement. Are the Democrats shooting themselves in the foot with their hatred for Trump? Are people starting to equate it with a hatred for America?
There used be a time when when there were very few differences between Democrats and Republicans, and most of those differences were limited to social liberties. Both parties were in favor of supporting the middle class, preserving the American ways of life such as freedom and liberty. Many Democrats of the past were pro second amendment, pro capitalism, in favor of lowering taxes for the poor and middle classes. Are those Democrats completely gone, are they a thing of the past? Or, will the Democratic party spit into two factions; the Democrats who hold to the historical doctrine of the party, and the Democratic Socialists who want the party to turn the party to towards socialism and federal control?
Where does it go from here?

I was thinking also because it would provide Pete a sort of "internship" for the 2024 election, or the one where the Dems will actually have a chance of winning the White House. I doubt Buttigieg will ever make it to the Presidency. He's too fake, and no matter how much he tries to emulate or "channel" that Obama flair as an orator, he's going to keep falling flat. The differences being Obama's charisma, Buttigieg doesn't have it; Obama's sincerity, Buttigieg doesn't have it. The next four years of being in the public eye will only expose Pete for the fake that he is. He may be given a cabinet position in a future Democratic administration, or he may be able to take one of Indiana's senate or congressional seats, but that's as far as I see him going. The media's love affair with Buttigieg is will fade fast, just like it did with Michael Avenatti Creepy Porn Lawyer.

Is it possible to retrieve the seed from my hard drive using recover software? i still have all the files on the old hard drive but can't seem to find/ see the electrum app that was on the desktop that would open up with the original wallet.
Is is possible to recover all of the original electrum data and open my wallet as i do still have the original data.
If you still have the data on your old hard drive, you should be able to find your wallet file. But you really really should back up the seed phrase off line, preferably written on a piece of paper and stored somewhere safe and secure. Electronic data can be corrupted, physical hard drives are subject to failure, old passwords could be forgotten. It's best to have a sure and reliable back up.

Amazing game last night,,, sorry Liverpool but it looks like you may have to settle for just the EPL unless you can do the Champions League too (which you should). I wonder why Klopp still refused to play his strongest team, as soon as Salah and Firmino came on you could see the difference in attacking. Also, the back four looks so normal last night. But do not worry friends, it is a blip they say comes every now and then. Better now than in UCL right?
I'm worried for LFC based on their last two games in the EPL. They let West Ham take the lead before they reigned them in, then they let Watford score 3 goals to their zero. It was especially discouraging to watch the game against Watford. Not to take anything away from the Hornets, they played amazingly well, but LFC made so many mistakes. Totally out of character. It's unfortunate that they sacrificed the FA Cup, but I think the UCL and the EPL are more important. In December Klopp sacrificed the EFL Cup for the FIFA Club World Cup, which I think was the right thing to do. Lets hope this sacrifice works out for LFC, and they beat Atletico next week. It'll be interesting to see what team Klopp starts for the Bournemouth game this weekend. Now that the undefeated streak is over, and with such a huge lead in the EPL, he may take a more conservative approach. He may opt to keep his top guys rested for and focused on the Atletico match.

Both CA and TX issue delegates proportionately. Even if Sanders takes the win in both states, I think Biden will still have enough delegates to win the day. But it's early yet, the eastern states have only forty some odd percent reporting. Things could change. I just watched Biden's speech. Two things I can came away with: We can make Hope and History rhyme. Let Dairy Die! Let Dairy Die! Let Dairy Die!
