3261  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you experience this won $250,000 on: July 19, 2021, 06:45:32 PM
Owws some one texted me that I won $250,000.but how come it happened?hahahaa I knew it from the start that this is scam.why so many people  not afraid of this kind of scam.they not afraid of doing this will come back to them.rwceived things of what you did.
Lets admit that in this time of pandemic we had a hardship daya we experience.we feel that we are already exhausted.but even if I experience this I fought for this and keep on praying ask help to God.
I know that we all want money specially me I really need it but even if badly needed I will not do it to do scam jist to have money..hope some one make it fair..find ways how will you survive in a nice and a good way..
I just want to share this how I experience this..yea I am hoping its true so I will be happy and I can give what my son and my wife wants to have...but sad to say its a SCAM.
attempted fraud in the form of SMS I often experience this...

cheaters will never disappear from this earth while there is still something they can cheat on. what we need to strengthen is ourselves, don't be greedy and don't be easily lured by the persuasion of fraudsters, they only spread sweet promises, it's all not true.
3262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: July 19, 2021, 06:07:21 PM
Is there any tangible reason why binance exchange is been hunted? It seems they just hate success or what? Anyways no matter what they try CZ is a determined fellow, that's why binance made it this far, it's my best exchange and won't be changing any time soon
I honestly appreciate CZ's hard work in raising Binance...

when something gets big out of control then the government will try to control it. currently, Binance is banned in my country but I am still actively using it because I trust Binance more than my country's government.
3263  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-07-15] Rumors Fly That Apple Has Bought $2.5 Billion In Bitcoin on: July 19, 2021, 05:39:33 PM
before apple officially makes a statement to the public then I will not easily believe the news that they are buying BTC...

Apple's CEO has shown no interest in cryptocurrencies and that has been the case for a long time. it's pretty obvious that the guy was just making a joke that caused an uproar lol.
3264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's wrong with TKO on: July 19, 2021, 04:35:41 PM
...

I saw TKO tokens in the past two days experienced a very good increase, even though Bitcoin did not move up and even just like walking in place, but different things happened to TKO where the token actually increased almost 20% from the lowest price, so what's really going on at this TKO ?
TKO is a centralized coin whereas Bitcoin is a decentralized coin, it is much different...

TKO is one of the successful projects because it cooperates with binance, besides that TKO often holds events that make prices stable. I admit that the TKO team is very competent.
3265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: July 19, 2021, 02:33:28 PM
...

This could create massive publicity for Bitcoin.
I really like movies because it can be a medium of learning too...

with so many hoaxes about Bitcoin, it would be great if there was a director who made a film about Bitcoin and the technology behind it. especially if the storyline is very good, then Bitcoin will definitely be more known.
3266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The importance of Airdrop on: July 19, 2021, 12:54:37 PM
I am thinking what is the importance of airdrop? What makes airdrop happened? what is driving it continue to give away? Is that only for promoting certain currencies? should the airdrop continues happening
airdrop is like a bounty campaign too, but the task is easier and the reward distribution is less...

I haven't followed the airdrop for a long time because I feel the tokens given are just 'garbage'. there are also some good airdrops but they are very hard to find and depend on luck.
3267  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your view on cannabis? on: July 19, 2021, 11:38:53 AM
I don't judge cannabis addicts but I see cannabis as a drug...

My country's government continues to fight and arrest cannabis traders because it can damage the motor system of young people here. in some countries such as the Netherlands they have legalized cannabis but because their mindset has advanced, the use of cannabis there can be monitored.
3268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: NMX Nominex token on: July 19, 2021, 10:03:19 AM

Surprisingly, this exchange is doing well. Even their NMX token is doing good despite of the market crash.

Honestly, i am utterly dumbfounded about this. It's like NMX would have been decoupled from rest of the markets and doing their own thing. Maybe they have something more planned behind the scene, because right now only use case for this (beside farming) is lower trading fees and i don't think that explains the price action.

Then again price action doesn't need to make sense and this might just be one of those cases.
I'm surprised that out of all the Defi platforms I'm following only NMX has a very stable price...

I also believe that the nominex team has big plans for the sustainability of nominex and I am very proud of the team who worked very hard to maintain the price of NMX.
3269  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC breaks 9k, are we on bull run? on: July 18, 2021, 09:47:54 PM
And the bear market is just still going on. I make some predictions about the possible lowest value which we'll see in this period. And it is $25k for now. And I hope that we don't see a lower price than $20k also. If it happens, it may take more time than the expected for the price to recover.
I'm sure BTC won't drop below $ 25k...

we have seen that there has been a lot of positive news on Bitcoin this year and there have also been countries that have made BTC a legal tender. the market is sideways and the price will not fall any further.
3270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Interested in Dogecoin? on: July 17, 2021, 09:39:51 PM
As, we know that Btc & ETH are the top two Crypto in the market but I am confused why Elon interested in Dogecoin?
The reason Elon Musk likes Dogecoin is definitely only him who knows that...

I don't want to speculate he owns a lot of dogecoins and blah blah blah, what I'm sure is Elon isn't completely serious in crypto, he's just doing jokes. you want your money to be safe then don't believe the meme coin that he tweets.
3271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: July 17, 2021, 08:51:42 PM

That's why people have different religions because have different beliefs, for a country that most populations are Muslims, their laws of the land are based on the law of their God, we can't change that as that's why they believe even from the beginning. For us, gambling is just entertainment, but for them, it's a sin, we just have to respect that.

It is for these reasons that many gamblers are in countries which is not very restrictive like the US, Europe and some part of Asia, let's admit it gambling plays a big part in any countries in terms of taxes and community contribution, our brothers may treat gambling as sin but it's a big help especially in third world countries, this is one of their cash cows.
and the funny thing is that there are also many Arabs who gamble in vegas or Macau just because in their country gambling is prohibited...

taxes from gambling have an important role in building a city if it is managed properly, now it depends on our perception of whether gambling is a sin or not, as long as we don't steal or rob to play gambling then I think it's not a sin.
3272  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the popularity of cryptocurrency continue? on: July 17, 2021, 07:47:36 PM
Cryptocurrency is a popular trend in the current currency economy field, and many people are concerned about choosing the crypto market industry. The decentralization of cryptocurrency prevents it from being recognized and protected by the official government of any country. It is under the influence of the supply and demand market. At the same time, there are very many people buying and very few people selling, which will lead to rapid price increases. Then the dealer inhaled a large amount of money, causing the price to rise to a certain level and then clear it, and then retail investors will be injured. While it brings profits to investors, it also has risks.
Recently, the popularity of multiple cryptocurrency markets has continued to increase, and many traditional investment users have also begun to pay attention to the cryptocurrency market. How long can this trend last? Will it always exist?
The cryptocurrency trend will not break, the whole world will adopt it in the future...

nowadays many big banks don't like cryptocurrency and we have to be aware of it but even so, crypto transactions around the world continue to increase, this shows that the trend of cryptocurrency will not stop again.
3273  Other / Off-topic / Re: Be careful of android apps even the ones which has thousands of downloads on: July 17, 2021, 06:48:52 PM
not all applications in the playstore are safe, there are even cases where applications from the AppStore are fake wallets...

I've never downloaded a photo editing app on the Playstore because I wasn't sure about it. I keep my smartphone safe from junk apps

...

(report, if you can).
ok
3274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German Faketoshi is now arrested for his fraud on: July 17, 2021, 06:23:26 PM
Fraud is an act that is hated by everyone even though they have all committed fraud. I myself am also very angry if someone lies to me like Jorg Molt did.
I hope Jorg Molt or what is known as the German Faketoshi is responsible for what he did so that he doesn't do it again.
surely he won't dare to repeat his deception again because he will be very closely watched...

what I'm worried about from a scam like this is that there will be more scammers inspired by him disguised as a satoshi. Education about Bitcoin and who is Satoshi really should be encouraged.
3275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 17, 2021, 04:38:00 PM
100 years from now that means the year 2121...

surely my grandson will be 50 years old that year lol. I can't predict exactly what will happen to Bitcoin in the next 100 years but I believe with certainty that Bitcoin at that time has become a valuable investment asset and its price will double from now.
3276  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge on: July 17, 2021, 12:41:08 PM
...

learning how the economy works, when to enter and exit an investment is important...

I salute how the richest people make money, abilities like them are not available in a short time, it takes years of hard work and analysis to be able to do things like them. we have to force ourselves to be able to learn like them.
3277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: July 17, 2021, 10:46:00 AM
well you may be converting them to be a gamber if it interest the gamer. most gamers have budget. if it works then maybe the KYC is needed. kids often play thise video games.

I agree that is the only way to make sure that only adults are playing these games with gambling features, although not 100% foolproof at least we have a good parameter that will make sure that only adults are playing, but I don't know the chances of the players will approve to verify themselves through KYC.
You can see what happens to online casinos that require KYC, there will be some rejections...

I've read in an article that underage gambling players have increased during this pandemic, and the majority are active gamers. For parents who have children over 9 years old, you should monitor your child's online activities.
3278  Other / Meta / Re: What happens to the forum if Theymos was to disappear? on: July 17, 2021, 09:28:57 AM
I am sure theymos will be gone one day like all of us, and it will happen sooner or later, but I am sure he made some backup plan of people who would take over control over domain and forum.
It would be interesting to hear something from him and even his confirmation would be good enough, so maybe team of trusted admins and mods would take over or his kids and people he trusts in real life.
theymos is a brilliant person, he must have made preparations to leave this forum to the right person...

It is undeniable that we will not know how old a person is and making an inheritance is something that must be done by everyone so that the baton of hard work that has been done is not interrupted only by him. good luck theymos.
3279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 17, 2021, 09:08:58 AM
...

Obviously he is from some developed country. In countries like my gambling addiction, if it is considered a disease, then no methods of treatment or something similar are offered. It is believed that this is a personal problem of a person and if you go to a hospital (public) with such a problem, you simply will not be taken seriously. So I must admit that he was lucky in some ways.
developed countries have more facilities than poor or developing countries in helping citizens overcome their gambling addiction...

in my city gambling addiction is not a serious thing because my city still prohibits gambling business strictly but among 1000 gamblers there must be one who is addicted. someone who is addicted to gambling in my city has to spend personal money to go to a psychiatrist.
3280  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 16, 2021, 09:46:36 PM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?
it all depends on you, if you want to be serious about day trading then learn more deeply...

being a day trader or being a holder each person has different reasons, both are profitable as long as you keep selling at a higher price when you bought. I now prefer to be a holder because I don't have much time to become a day trader.
