3261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet365 automated betting on: May 19, 2021, 12:07:48 PM
Yo,

I was just wondering if anybody's selling a similar product on the market currently, or saw a few in the past, likee how much could it worth?

It does nothing really special, you give the match to it(currently it's through telegram but other's can be done easily) and it makes the bet.

Been using it for a while, without any account issue, so I'm safe to say its kinda safe haha.

Thanks^

I haven't see any real other automated betting from a bookmaker so far. I think bet365 is leading in that area. Not a 100% sure but I assume that everything is done in house. Which makes a bit hard to put a price on such software. The easiest would probably be to get a developer and a programmer to make something from scratch. If you make a project proposal you could go to one of those Internet platform where independent software engineers can bit on your project. Like this you would probably get the lowest prices and a lot of different people can decide to work with you.
3262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin drops – altcoins take the stage? IRS principle (Profits/Risks/Retent) on: May 19, 2021, 11:59:35 AM
This is a really difficult subject right now. Bitcoin right now at 39,000 USD, which is almost half from its ATH 65,000 a few months back. The first problem I face right now is, do we really want to realise a loss and sell our BTC to shift into alt coins? I like the list of your alt coin recommdations, they are definitely a good investment. But are they worth to lose our exposure into bitcoins? What if another billionaire start to buy into bitcoins? The market could rally again quickly to its old levels. For now I will probably going to just hold my bitcoins. If I get new money I will invest it into alt coins instead of Bitcoin's.
3263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: police stations on fire. on: May 19, 2021, 11:52:41 AM
Recently news has been going round about police stations been set on fire. It sounded as a joke at first until most of the police officers where reported dead. What's really surprising about this whole issue is that this incident has occurred  in almost 7 states as we speak. This has lead to a 5am to 6:30pm corfew that was recently changed by the government of River state to 5am to 8pm only in port harcourt.

Now most of the police stations are be secured by vigilantes to prevent  the incident from happening. We just recently recovered from the long period lockdown due to the COVID 19 that has affected many sources of income and  has brought the worlds economy backwards. This recent burning down of police stations is  making the whole state uncomfortable for the normal citizens.

My question is why dose is have to be only police station. Why is it happening all round the states. What do you thing of this incident, is the prisoners that are burning the police station. What's the reasons behind all this ? Is it's happening in your state?

Let's reason together.

I saw similar news and are very confused by it. How can that happen? A police station should be able to protect itself. This is not only just property damage but also an attack on everybodys safety. What if you need assistance while the police is on fire? Imagine someone breaks into your house and when you call the police nobody answers because they are being attacked themselves. Crazy times we live in. There is no excuse for such actions.
3264  Other / Off-topic / Re: What actions will you do if someone's trying to access your account? on: May 19, 2021, 11:33:24 AM
In securing our account  in someone trying to access your personal information The best actions we will do to secure our accounts are  we must wise notify and alert and change your password immediately.

Do not share your personal information or (OTP) to anyone else even your close friends to avoid vulnerable scenario on your account.

Being stricted is highly recommended to Secured.

As soon as I notice or get a notification that a different IP Adress is trying to access my account, I would change my password. I am using different passwords for different websites, so if one account got hacked, my other accounts should be saved. But we don't know or did sure, so it's better to also the email address password and my phone pin.Its better to be save than sorry.
3265  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: May 19, 2021, 11:29:04 AM
Elon Musk's influence on the market was confirmed as he took Bitcoin up from the $38k region to a new ATH of $65k and he took a $250 million profit there. After the tweet about Tesla stopping accepting electric car payments in Bitcoin, the value of Bitcoin has dropped rapidly and is now at $39k.
Elon Musk is really a manipulator as in just about 3 months he has caused the crypto market to rise and fall drastically.

This is morally so wrong. Elon Musk is obviously using his twitter reach to influence the crypto markets and profit of it. It is times like this that I wish we had some kind of global agency that would investigate such issues. The international community should not just roll over and let Elon Musk whatever he wants. I definitely lost my trust in Elon and will not follow his recommendations in the future.
3266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: May 19, 2021, 11:24:13 AM
That is why I only deposit the amount I feel I am comfortable losing, of course I want to win but I know it might all go to the house so that is how I control myself. I just gamble as much as I can afford losing without depositing too much.
That means you are not a real gambler, the level at which you gamble is not as high as those that loose huge sum in the gambling industry, a real gambler deposits big sum so they could win big sum in return. It takes time to control oneself out of gambling problems, gambling is not for everybody, if you find out that it doesn't favour you, quit away from it.

I don't agree with you, a gambler is not defined by the sum of money he gambles with. In my opinion someone who plays regularly with the lowest buyins is the same kind of gambler as someone who bets much higher sums. Everybody has a different type of bankroll, not all of us can afford to deposit large sums of money. Being a responsible gambler means for me that we only gamble with the money that we can afford to lose.
3267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: May 18, 2021, 09:18:57 AM
Maybe they are afraid because they see on the television and newspaper that the vaccine is not fully protected them and only minimizes the chance of getting infected. People who more than 60 years old need to get vaccines because they are more susceptible than younger people. Maybe it needs more education on how the vaccine can work in their body to know and want to get vaccinated. I hope that people in all countries want to get vaccinated, which can help the government work hard to reduce the number of infected people from the virus.

That doesn't make any sense, because 95% protection offered by a vaccine is much better IMO, than 0% percent protection without the vaccine. Here I would even go for a Sinovac vaccine, even if it provides only 50% protection (as I said earlier, 50% > 0%). A lot of propaganda is ongoing in the social media channels against the vaccines. And some of the politicians have also come up against it (example is Jair Bolsonaro). But I don't think that the Americans will believe in this propaganda.

I agree, any vaccine is better than no vaccine. For a single person a 50% protection might not be much, but if we look at 100 million people than it could make a big difference. Also with the vaccine it is not so much a full protection from the corona virus but rather a chance to avoid a serious illness. If we can make sure that everybody only gets the mild version than the death rate should drop close to 0 and it is more like a cold.
Having special promotions to get people to get the vaccine is a great in my opinion. Becoming a millionaire is definitely a huge incentive to the get vaccinated. I also like the promotion in NYC last month when they were giving joints away for everybody who go vaccinated  Cool
3268  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil and war Good profit on: May 18, 2021, 09:07:21 AM
Its Good to buy oil.
I guess its better then gold btc or other.
The war in gaza area and tel Aviv will do enough to push oil price high.

I guess many investors now Think about invest in this black gold Smiley
Could be 10x Moon oil Moon bullish

I don't know about Oil, in my mind it is not a great investment. Oil is not an asset is constantly rising in price like Gold for example. It's been a long time since Oil was around the 100 USD mark. If we look at the chart of Oil we see that price is roughly on the same level it was 5 years ago. In my opinion the upside of Oil is very limited, the best we could hope for would be a 100% return and would be the best case the scenario, it is much more likely the price remains pretty close where it is now. And the worst case scenario would be that price drops down to 20 USD again.
3269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price crushed? on: May 18, 2021, 08:59:47 AM
Bitcoin has got more and more centralized by going out of weak hands who sold their parts of btc to the institutions and now institutions are ruling them by giving signals like adding '#bitcoin' to their bio,

Well isn't this what the community wanted, the inflow of Institutional investors. I said it before that the industry doesn't need them unless they'll be improving on the adoption rate by accepting or making their partners accepts bitcoin as a means if exchange and also adding some input to the growth of the technology and not just the price.

We wanted them to come, now they have and will use the industry as their play ground by taking advantage of the volubility of the industry which is also it's beauty too, I'm talking about the volatility of the market.

The party is just beginning when others realize they can do something similar to what Elon and Tesla is doing, the industry will be in for a ride of its lifetime with manipulation from all angle of the industry.

I think what most of us wanted that the institutional investors come in with a lot of new money, but don't leave. It's logical that the big whale investors only come in when the prices are rising and will immediately leave when the prices start falling. For them it is all about making money and minimising their risk. But for us bitcoins is more than a tool to make money. I believe that most of us here are long term investors in bitcoin who really believe in the crypto coin. There is not much we can do when big investors like Elon Musk decides to sell his coins.
3270  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "Good morning ladies and gentlemen" on: May 18, 2021, 08:51:19 AM
We are now in a strange world where you can't start a speech with the phrase "Good morning ladies and gentlemen"
~

Can someone explain to me exactly how this is taboo? It sounds very illogical to me.

(Did not want to derail main topic)

Maybe I am too old for this, but this doesn't seem like a taboo too me. For the last few hundred years this was a common way to start a speech. What should be wrong with it now? The only thing that comes to mind would be that we are offending all these "non binary" sexes which came to life recently. It doesn't matter that biology only has the male and female gender for the human race, if someone feels like something complete new than of course we need to respect it. This is so wrong in our society.
3271  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you remember your first mobile phone? on: May 18, 2021, 08:43:29 AM
It wasn't my first mobile phone (that was also a Nokia), but my most favourite was the Iphone 4s. It was the first Iphone I got and it was just awesome. I still have to this day in a very good condition. From time to time I turn it on again just to see how far the tech went from back in the day. The old Ipods and Iphones were so cool because not many had them. Nowadays everybody has an Iphone.
3272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The dude makes $50k every day from dogecoin scams on: May 18, 2021, 08:37:42 AM

You see that many people send him today coins here 5000$ there 12000$, 3000, 10000$ etc.
He made today $50k easy from stupid people.
And about 390k USD Dollars sent from his wallet.

Wow that is insane, how can a scammer still make such kind of profit in 2021? We all need to be more aware about such scams. It is good that you linked his wallet here, so if anybody searches for it he will find it. It is a bit harsh to call people who fall for scams stupid. With hindsight we realise that a deal sounded to good to be true and was a scam. When I first started out I also fell for a scam because I just believed everything on the internet. It takes something like that to become more cautious. Maybe we can find the person behind the scam and get the money back.
3273  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No to RACISM be fair into each other. on: May 18, 2021, 07:07:43 AM
More People's Suffered without justice and they just keep to thier self alone and being problematic . Around the world many of us experienced this mental and physical abused and some will go through the point of suicides and others rehabilitate theirselves  to manipulate and to control theirselves .
Racism is the most issues of our community that must be addressed to reduce this problem in our society.

Yes, I strongly agree that we need to stop racism. It's so backward looking to discriminate others based on their skin color, appearance or sexual orientation. Prejudice in all forms need to stop. Only if we act accordingly ourselves and teach our children we can change the world. Nobody is born as a racist, it  is being taught by friends and family.
3274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: May 18, 2021, 07:00:55 AM
I noticed the same, the topics about negative side effects of gambling grew a lot over the last few months. The main reason behind is that probably more people got into gambling since the corona pandemic. With a higher number of gamblers we will also see more people who lose, even though the chances of losing or didn't really change. Also I think that people have a little bit more time at the moment due do home office and less outdoor activities, so we can talk about our gambling experiences. On top of that is the need to talk to about gambling stronger when we lose than when we are winning. In my culture we tend to be more secretive about money and wouldn't really share with others if we won.
3275  Economy / Economics / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: May 18, 2021, 06:46:45 AM
We entered a bear market earlier than expected

The prices won't go up anymore from now. People say Elon control the Dogeocin market. But he controls Bitcoin at the same way.

Unfortunately the party stopped much sooner than we all expected. Elon Musk got probably sad that not many people bought Teslas with their bitcoins so he had to ruin the party for all of us. It's unbelievable how big the influence of Elon Musk is on the crypto market. For all of us long term investors the only thing we can do is wait for the dump to end.
3276  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tesla's are garbage, let's get something else on: May 18, 2021, 06:42:51 AM
Tesla's are garbage, buy a Chevy Bolt instead really.

I was a huge Tesla fan until last week. My plan was to buy a Tesla as my next car in 2-3 years when my car gets too old. But now I can't trust Elon Musk anymore. What he did to bitcoin and doge coin is not fair. With a few tweets he killed the whole crypto hype, let's not reward him by buying his cars.
3277  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online Game addicts=Worrying parents. on: May 17, 2021, 01:55:31 PM

What can I say, I honestly feel sorry to see them, against his son's stubborn behavior, honestly I can't say good advice for them other than 'hit' them, but that's not a good solution to say.

So, I need a little advice to tell them the best way to make their children obey their parents.

Friends, do not hesitate to give a little advice to their parents, so that their children can change to leave addiction to online games and want to learn like other normal children who are not involved in online games.

any advice is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

This is a very hard topic, I will try give my 5 cents as I know a little bit about online gaming and it's addiction. So first of all, it is very normal for any young boy these days to be gaming online, all their friends doing it from school. Then on top of that we have this awful pandemic where most outdoor activities are canceled. It makes it very hard to do things beside online gaming. I used to play FPS and my parents hated it, they were afraid I would one day go to school and blow it up - complete crazy ideas of my parents - they just didn't know any better.

Just telling your child what to do with out them understanding why will be very hard, especially if he is stubborn. My advise would be to try and talk to him, make him understand that he is gaming to much. But you also need to understand his point of view. In my opinion it would be best to try and limit his time per day or per week. Give him a certain amount of hours he can play so he can choose his own time when he wants to use them. Work together.
3278  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israel is evil. Finish them off! on: May 17, 2021, 01:37:04 PM
The people of Israel are evil.  This is known. We have all seen what happened with the Republicans in control.  Now it is our turn.  Who knows what these evil people have up their sleeve next.
So I say finish them off now!

Wow man, that is a lot of hate. Let's not do anything rush here. It is awful what is happening in Israel and Gaza, but hate and violence is not the answer. I am praying for a real solution, a solution with which both countries can live, Palestina and Israel. It's the 21th century, humans should evolve and fly to Mars instead of fighting on Earth.
3279  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you see yourself quitting after this bullrun? on: May 17, 2021, 01:28:54 PM
don't think so, been here for years even if I make ten millions dollar overnight there's nothing wrong in making some additional million dollars right?  Grin the thing is, there's no guarantee you gonna succeed by starting your business but if you're used to making money in crypto then big fat chance it's better to just sticks, just don't speculate too much if you afraid of risk there are many ways of making profit from your hard earned money without betting all your asset.
right, after I get a lot of money from bullrun, then only a small portion of the capital I use to trade in crypto, most of the others, of course I will diversify into other businesses such as property, I have to have several different businesses to support my financial stability

That is the best plan, if we manage to make 10 million USD and more, the best we can do is to diversify our wealth. If we buy a few houses/apartments and rent them out, buy our own company and spread the rest of the money out into cryptos/stocks and commodities we should be set for life. It comes all down to financial independence and how much money we need in the rest of our life.
3280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 17, 2021, 01:14:22 PM
Account to the source: https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/11906/fully-vaccinated-individuals-no-longer-required-to-wear-mask-in-vegas-casinos
Fully vaccinated individuals can now play normally without any masks in the gambling casinos and at the same time it goes for both indoor and outdoor locations in Nevada. The decision was made on May 3.
Quote
The Board’s agents will not attempt to confirm vaccination status of patrons. Consequently, unless circumstances change, it is not practical for the Board to attempt to enforce a mask mandate tethered to an individual’s vaccination status.

As a whole the decision was made on May 13. Some licenses might be more restrictive as compared to the others.

I do feel like there is another reason for you guys to be vaccinated! You can actually experience normal casinos like before pandemic if you do wear the mask and follow the protocols.

That is pretty cool. It is time we move on and get rid of the masks again after we are vaccinated. In my country we still to wear a masks every, even if we are fully vaccinated. The only thing that we don't need anymore is doing the annoying corona tests. The problem I see if we don't get vaccinated is that a lot of places might open up again to people without masks as long as we are vaccinated. So in the long term we might suffer from not getting the vaccines. Also don't forget the masks is not really protecting us that much, it is more an protection for other people.
